"Don't judge my choices without understanding my reasons."

"Congratulations, Decimo."

"Congratulations."

"I look forward to working with you, Decimo."

Tsuna only smiled as he thanked the people who congratulated him.

After what seems like forever, he was finally able to slip out. Tsuna let out a sigh of relief when he stepped outside to the balcony. He shivered inwardly when the cold wind brushed his skin.

He stood there for awhile, enjoying the peace before he slipped back in and act as if he hadn't disappeared earlier.

As he was again greeted and congratulated, a man caught Tsuna's attention. The man was walking towards Tsuna with confident strides, his face held arrogance in it that made Tsuna inwardly cringe.

When the man stopped in front of him and congratulated him, Tsuna only looked at him with a wary look but still smiled. But what the man said after that made his blood run cold.

"I do not understand why you would choose that half-blood. He's only good at playing the piano, just like that woman. And that Vendicare convict, he is a madman that doesn't deserve to live. Your rain guardian is too cheerful for his own good," the man said as he laughed.

Tsuna tried to remain calm but the man's next words had almost made Tsuna growl at the man.

"And that one-eyed woman, just look at how fragile she is! I bet I could snap her with just my bare hand. Your cloud is just to irresponsible and your sun is too dumb. And that brat," the man looked at Lambo in disgust. "how disgraceful. Acting like a one year old kid. Seriously Decimo, what are you thinking when you choose them as your guardians?"

By then, the cheerful music that filled the air had died down. The guests had long ago stopped talking and turned their attention towards Tsuna and the man when they felt the air turned cold. The guardians stood not far from the two, seething in anger or hanging their head in shame.

All of a sudden, the ballroom was filled with so much bloodlust that all of the mafiosos there drew out their weapons as they struggled to stand. The women gripped their partner's hand in fear while the children would cower behind their parents.

The arcobalenos, now in their adult form, went defensive and was almost overwhelmed by the bloodlust. The guardians on the other hand, stood still with eyes wide at Tsuna. Even Hibari.

"And who are you to say what I can do?" Tsuna said coldly sending shivers to everyone present, even the arcobalenos.

"Who are you to say that the guardians that I had chosen are not worthy of their position?" Tsuna asked with venom laced in it. His eyes shone in bright orange.

"They are not a disgrace. You are. Running your mouth with insults about my guardians, about MY Family, is unforgivable," Tsuna said as he pinned the man in front of him with his cold and hard glare.

"Do not judge my choice without knowing the reason why, you lowly scum. From here on out, the Vongola will no longer be your allies. Instead, we will be your enemies. And then, you will know the strength of MY guardians, the strength of MY Family," Tsuna said with a firm voice that shook everyone to the core. Tsuna turned towards the guards that stood frozen in their place.

The guards flinched visibly when Tsuna's piercing glare met their eyes. Seeing that, Tsuna's eyes quickly became soft. The guards eased a little but are still tensed.

"Would you kindly do me a favour and escort this man out of my territory?" Tsuna's hard and venomous voice turned soft and kind when he ordered the guards.

Without wasting a second, the guards grabbed the trembling man and proceed to drag him out of the ballroom. When they left, Tsuna turned his attention to the guardians and gave a smile as his eyes shone with pride.

Without looking away, he spoke. "Any who wishes to say that I am not worthy to become Vongola Decimo are allowed to do so. But anyone who dare say that my guardians are not worthy to become my guardians shall have to face me and give five reasons as to why they are not worthy of their positions."

No one said a thing. With a satisfied smile, he nodded his head to the musicians. The musicians quickly played and the ballroom was once again filled with music. Everyone quickly went back to normal and chattered happily, but not without glancing every now and then at Tsuna who was surrounded by his guardians.

Because of this incident, almost all of the mafia dons who were there pledged their loyalty to Tsuna. It was also the cause as to why Tsuna was feared and respected by other dons and the mafias.
