I realized I'm not really good at the whole description part of this, so this might be just a lot of dialoge...

I pace in front the barricade, moping about because they still aren't letting me into the barricade.

"What's wrong Me?" I turn around to see Marius.

"It's just that you guys won't let me into the barricade!"

"Don't be sad Me! It's just the circle of life!"

"umm...OK?"

"Why would anyone be sad tonight?"

"Let me guess...you're seeing Cosette tonight!"

"That's right! Can you feel the love tonight?"

"ummm...Not really...."

"Well you should! You and Enjolras should totally be together!

"Me and Enjy? BLEH!!!  Gross! and I'm sure that's one thing we'll agree on!"

"So you won't say your in love?"

"I'm NOT in love with ugghhh! Enjie BLEH! " I make gagging noises as if to prove my point. "Plus, my real problem is NOT my love life, I want to be let into the barricade!"

"Well, maybe if you go the distance, you can prove that you can be trusted with being let into the barricade!"

"Does that mean I have to do work? I'd rather drown under the sea!"

"OK, that's a bit over exaggerating..."

"nah..."

"Plus even if you do try to drown under the sea, magical mermaids will save you!"

"Some day I'll make a man out of you Marius..."

"Thanks!"

"Airhead."

"What?"

"Nothing!"

"Well anyways, Hakuna Matata!"

"Huh?"

"It means no worries! For the rest of your days!"

"But I do have a worry! I can't get into the barricade!"

"Oh, well sucks for you! OW!" Marius says as I punch him in the arm. Like I thought, talking to him was a total waste of time...
