Calypso's POV

It's a sunny day, so the Cullens aren't here at school. It's lunch time. I'm with Bella and her human friend Jessica. Bella is reading a book. While Jessica and I sun ourselves. I'm laying on my back on the bunch while Jessica sits beside me. "He's not here" Jessica states and I open my eyes lazily. "Whenever the weather's nice, the Cullens disappear" she explains to Bella.

"They just... ditch?" Bella asks.

"No, Dr. and Mrs. Cullen yank 'em out for hiking and camping and stuff. I tried the idea out on my parents. Not even close" Jessica explains.

"I should try that with my mum" I state as I close my eyes. But just then an excited Angela joins us.

"I'm going to the prom with Eric! I just asked him, I took control!" she declares happily. I open my eyes to see her hugging Bella. "Are you sure you have to go out of town?" she asks.

"It's a family thing" Bella states.

"You coming to prom Calypso?" Angela asks me.

"I don't have a date" I tell her.

"Ask that hot boyfriend of yours" Jessica tells me.

"That's allowed?" I ask.

"Of course it is" Angela states. I sigh sitting up and take out my phone. Calling Jason.

"Hi beautiful, shouldn't you be in school" he says.

"I am at school, it's lunch time" I tell him. "Where are you?" I ask him curious.

"Beach enjoying the nice day" he states.

"Lucky you" I mutter.

"So why the call?" he asks me.

"Well my school is having prom in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if you'd be my date" I say sheepishly.

"Thought you'd never ask" he states. "Send me the details and I'll pick you up" he tells me.

"Will do, enjoy the rest of your day" I tell him.

"You too" he says and we hang up.

"So I have a date for prom" I tell the others. Jessica and Angela cheer.

"Oh my God, we need to hit the stores in Port Angeles before the dresses get cleaned out" Jessica exclaims.

"Port Angeles? Can I go with you guys?" Bella asks.

"Thank God. We need your opinion" Angela tells her. We agree to go home after school and change. Then Jessica will collect us and drive us all to Port Angeles.

(time skip)

I'm trying on my third dress and I really like it. Angela is on her third dress also and Jessica on her sixth. While Bella reads a book by the window giving us her opinion. "Okay, I like this one. It makes my boobs look good. What do you think, Bella?" Jessica asks. Bella doesn't answer. "Bella?" she asks.

"It looks great" Bella says absentmindedly.

"You said that about the last five dresses" Jessica states.

"That is so your colour Calypso" Angela tells me. I smile as I smooth the dress. A guy taps on the window and we see several guys. They wolf whistle at us and I roll my eyes.

"Ew" I say.

"That is uncomfortable" Angela states.

"That's disgusting" Jessica adds.

Angela asks Bella what she thinks of her current dress. Bella said 'nice'. "You're not very good at this, are you?" she asks Bella.

"I actually really just want to go to this bookstore. I'll meet you guys at the restaurant?" Bella suggests. The other two agree.

"You sure you don't want one of us to come Bella?" I ask her.

"I'll be fine and see you guys soon" she assures. "Angela is right though, that colour looks great on you" she tells me. Before she leaves.

"I'm getting this one" I tell Jessica and Angela.

"I'm so getting this one" Jessica states.

"I don't know, I don't think this is the right one yet" Angela tells us.

"Then next dress" I tell her. We all return to the change rooms. Jessica and I change back into our clothes. While Angela tried on another dress.

"Oh my god, that's the one for you" Jessica gushes. On Angela's fifth dress.

"She's right" I agree.

"It does look great" Angela says with a smile. "We should pay for the dresses and head to the restaurant" she states. We agree and pay for our dresses. We went to the restaurant and decide to eat. As we are all hungry. Though I am worried about Bella.

"I'm sure she's fine" Jessica tells me as we leave the restaurant.

"Still I'm gonna look for her" I tell her.

"We could help" Angela offers.

"Guys!" a girl shouts. We turn to see Bella with Edward Cullen.

"Where were you!? We left you a message" Angela tells her.

"We waited, but we were starving" Jessica states.

"Hello Edward" I say.

"Sorry I kept Bella from dinner. We ran into each other and got talking" Edward explains.

"I - we - understand. We were just... leaving, so" Jessica stammers.

"Okay, well. Thank you" Bella says to Edward.

"Maybe I should make sure Bella gets something to eat" he states.

"Terrific idea, she did miss dinner" I agree.

"If you'd like. Then I could drive you back myself" Edward tells her.

"That's so... thoughtful" Angela says with a smile.

"I could eat" Bella states.

"See you at school" I tell Bella. I leave with Angela and Jessica. Jessica drops me off home and I thanked her before going inside.

"Hi darling, did you have a good time?" mum asks while pausing her show.

"I did and I brought a dress" I tell her with a smile.

"Oh let me see" she says. I hand her the bag. "Oh it's gorgeous, Jason is going to love it" she states. "By the way I'll be on night shift the night of Prom. So you'll have the house to yourself" she tells me.

"Are you impaling something?" I ask her fighting back a blush.

"As long as you use protection, I don't care what you guys do while I'm not here" she tells me.

"Mum!" I whine and she giggles. "I'm gonna go put the dress away, then we can continue to watch Harry Potter" I tell her. She nods her head. I put the dress in my room and join her in the living room. To see she'd made popcorn. I join her on the couch and we continue to watch the movie together.
