Calypso's POV

"So Paul's my biological brother?" I ask her as we sit in the lounge room.

"Yes, he looks just like your father" she states

"How did you end up with me?" I ask her.

"When your parents had their accident, it was decided that we split you both up. Paul went to live with Jared's family, kept your family's name. You came to live with me as I'm your godmother" she explains.

"But why split us up?" I ask still confused.

"Your parents knew from the moment you were born you were special. Due to your birth mark and they feared cold ones knew also. We believed the accident that killed your parents wasn't an accident. So we faked your death and I fled with you" she states.

"Then why bring me here now?" I ask her.

"Because, it's the safest place for you now" she states. "Both the pack and coven will protect you with their lives" she tells me.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because if you ever died due to one of them not protecting you, the treaty would be broken" she explains. "Only the elders and alpha know this" she states.

"Does Paul know he had a sister?" I ask her.

"No" she says shaking her head. "He was only fifteen months old at the time and you were barely a week old. Since he didn't remember you, they felt no need to tell him he had a lost or dead sibling" she states.

"I want him to know mum, he's my big brother and I want to get to know him. I want to form a brother sister relationship with him. You said yourself, we're safest here now and I want to live a normal life. As normal as I can anyway" I tell her.

"I won't stop you from forming a bond with him or Jason" she assures me. I look at her shocked. "Yes, I know you're imprints. Us mothers know everything" she says smiling. "Though if your brother is anything like your father. Jason better watch his back" she states.

"Why is that?" I ask.

"Your father always had a short temper, even when he meet your mother. He still had a short temper if she wasn't there to calm him. He was also very protective of his family. Nearly killed Jared once for accidentally knocked Paul over" she explains.

"Wow, what about my biological mother?" I ask her curious.

"She was a pure soul, saw no evil in anyone and only saw the best in them. She believed all vampires had the potential to become like the Cullens. If given a chance" she states. "She saw a side your father, no one else ever saw. I've always thought you were more like her in that regard. Especially with being a Leopardess" she says.

"Was my mum a shifter?" I ask.

"No, just your father. But it was said that she was a descendant of the late leopard shifter. Which would be your great grandfather. But there's never been any proof of the leopard gene being hereditary" she explains.

"I don't care about that, it sound like she was an amazing person. Especially for putting up with dad" I say with a giggle.

"She truly was" she says with a gentle smile.

"It still doesn't change the fact that you're my mum" I tell her smiling.

"I appreciate that, I'd love to be there for Paul also if he needed someone to talk too" she states. "Now you should do your homework and I'll get started on dinner" she adds standing up. I take out my homework and start it.
