"Why gummy bears?" Leo asked. "What?! Some people like ice cream on hot days, I like gummy bears. Is there a problem?" You asked turning to Leo. He shook his head. "Good." You all sat at the park near the hotel just looking at the people passing by. You munched on your gummy bears occasionally swatting Franks hand away. "I could totally do better tricks than those guys." Percy scoffed gesturing at a couple boys doing skateboard tricks. "Yeah right Jackson. A 360 flip for you is 360 different ways to flip and land on your butt." You said and everyone snickered. "What you think you could do better than me?" Percy asked. "Nope, but I've never tried. Now if you gave me a pair of roller skates, I could totally do better than you." You admitted. "Hey seaweed brain, n/n." You and Percy looked at Annabeth. She held up your f/c roller skates and Percy's blue skateboard. "Oh! I am going to OWN you!" You said strapping them on. "No helmet?" Percy asked. "Awww, are you worried, don't; I'm too awesome for helmets and that whole shabang." You said with a wave of your hand. Percy threw his helmet down. "If you aren't wearing one I'm not either!" Percy declared. Annabeth tried to get him to put his helmet back on but he said no a pouted like a little kid. Annabeth sent Leo a pleading look. She knew that you both liked the other but the other didn't know. She also knew that you couldn't say no to Leo, dating or not. "Y/n I think you should wear a helmet." Leo said putting a hand on your shoulder. "Is my blowtorch worried too?" You said smiling. Leo's heart fluttered when you said he was yours. Leo tried to put a helmet on you but you skated away. "Never!" You yelled skating away. You started skating backwards but didn't turn around in time to see the stairs. You went flying through the air but Leo was able to catch you before you hit the ground. You looked up at Leo trying to comprehend what just happened. "S-so maybe next time I w-will wear a h-helmet." Leo just chuckled.
