Today was the day Leo would meet your mom. You were excited because this was taking your relationship to the next level.

It was Christmas Break and your mother said you could bring Leo with you when you visit.

You were a year round camper so you could be with Leo. You wanted to keep him sane.

You were in Bunker 9 with Leo getting ready. You were in leggings, an oversize sweater, and a scarf.

Leo was in his usual attire, except without grease and motor oil stains. You told him to keep his hair messy though.

You curled your hair and did minimal make up. All you did was nude eyeshadow and a little mascara.

You looked at Leo and smiled as you saw him connect his tool belt around his waist.

Your mom would be there to pick you up in ten minutes. Yours and Leo's suitcases were packed and on his couch.

You straightened your leggings and sweater as you walked toward Leo. He turned his body toward you.

You wrapped your arms around his torso and buried your face into his chest, taking in his scent of cinnamon and mints.

Leo rested his chin on the top your head and wrapped his arms around your body.

You felt a light kiss on your forehead and looked up at Leo to see him smiling down at you.

You and Leo have been dating for ten months and not once has he met your family.

You could tell Leo was nervous because You felt him tap 'I love you' in morse code.

You and Leo already told each other you loved each other. Many people were shocked that you said those three words this early in your relationship.

You and Leo were actually best friends before you started dating. When you came to camp, he was your first friend.

Whenever you Iris Messaged your mom, all you would talk about was your moments with Leo.

Your mom always told you that she needed to meet him. She was the one that invited Leo to stay for the 2 week Christmas break.

Many parents wouldn't let there sixteen year old daughter have there seventeen year old boyfriend stay the night.

Your mom was cool though. She put all her trust in you and you appreciated that.

From all the things you told her about Leo, it would be hard to understand why she wouldn't allow him.

She's even letting Leo sleep in the same room as you. Of course, he has to sleep on the floor though.

Your mom gave you permission to sleep in the same bed when you were having nightmares though.

Then again, your mom never said anything about sleeping on the floor together...

You pulled away from Leo's warm embrace. He pouted and did his puppy eyes, but you just pecked his lips.

"Let's get our shoes on and head out. My mom is going to be here in a few minutes Leo." You said.

Leo nodded and walked over to get your boots and his boots. He went back to you and sat down on the stool beside you.

You put on your grey UGG boots as he put on his brown combat boots. You always got UGG boots because of how soft they are.

"Ready?" You asked excitingly after yours and Leo's boots were on. You smiled warmly at him as he stood up.

"Ready as I'll ever be." He said with a smile.

Leo grabbed the suitcases from the couch. You intertwined you hand with his free hand.

You and him walked out the doors of Bunker 9. You walked through the snowy forest and went to Half Blood Hill.

When you got on top of the hill, there was your mom's car waiting for you and Leo.

She honked once she saw you. You saw her wave and you smiled and waved back.

When you got to the car, you and Leo went to the back. Your mom unhitched the trunk so Leo could put the suitcases in.

Once that was done, you and Leo climbed into the back seat and sat next to each other.

Your adopted brother was on the left side in the back seat, so Leo got in the middle while you were on the right.

You loved your adopted brother like he was your real one. He was a year older than you and protected you every chance he had.

"Hey Matthew." You said to your brother.

He took out his earbuds and smiled at you. You did your secret handshake while Leo looked at you confused.

You were done with the handshake. You were going to be in the car for a while because you lived in Delaware.

Throughout the car ride, you were getting tired and cold. Your mom told you to grab the fluffy blanket in the passenger seat.

You did so and covered you and Leo up. Matthew had his own blanket he was using.

Leo slung an arm around your soldier as you laid into his chest. Warmth engulfed you once you did that.

You closed your eyes as sleep took over your heavy eyelids. The last thing you did before falling asleep was wrap your arms around Leo's torso.

You felt Leo rest his head on yours. You both fell asleep through some of the car ride home.

You woke up a few hours later, which caused Leo to wake up. You looked out the window to see it was still dark out.

"Mom, where are we?" You asked.

"We're in Pennsylvania. We'll be home in 4 hours." Your mother replied.

You laid your head on Leo's shoulder and he kissed your cheek. You blushed as you looked at the sleeping figure of Matthew.

You and Leo couldn't go back to sleep, so you both decided to talk to your mom.

"So Leo, who's your godly parent?" Your mom asked.

"Hephaestus Ms. (Y/N)." Leo replied politely.

"That's great! You seem like such a great guy. I'm glad (Y/N) chose you and not some Ares or Aphrodite kid."

You looked at Leo and saw that he was blushing. He smiled a cheeky smile and you smiled because of how adorable he was.

You kissed his lips and looked into his handsome brown eyes. He stared into your beautiful (E/C) eyes.

"You look adorable when you blush." You whispered in Leo's ear, causing him to blush more.

~Time skip because I'm lazy~
After a few hours, it became morning and you arrived at your mom's house in Delaware.

Leo grabbed the suitcases from the back of the car. You could tell that Leo already likes your mom.

You and Leo walked in the house. You immediately went upstairs to show Leo your bedroom.

When you got to your room, Leo sat the suitcases down by the door and flopped onto your bed.

You flopped down on top of him pestered his face with many kisses. He hugged you to him and you hugged back.

You and Leo went back downstairs and went into the kitchen, where your mom was making a snack for you all.

You and Leo sat at the kitchen table as your mom brought you guys a plate of cookies.

You and Leo are a cookie as your mom was talking about how your brother was doing.

You then had to go to the bathroom. You excused yourself and walked to the nearest bathroom.

After doing your business, you walked down the corridor back to the kitchen. You heard Leo and your mom talking, so you stopped to listen.

You made sure you weren't seen because you didn't want them to stop there conversation.

"I want your blessing to date your daughter. Are you okay with me dating her? I don't want to intrude if you don't approve." Leo said in a hushed voice.

You smiled at how cute Leo was being. You loved how he asked your mom for permission.

You peeked around the corner carefully to see your mom get up and hug Leo and kiss both his cheeks.

"Of course I approve!! Now I know that you are a good man for my daughter because you asked for permission!" Your mom said.

'Oh gods. My mom is fangirling like Aphrodite...' You thought.

You casually walked back into the kitchen and sat down in your chair. You kissed Leo and smiled at your mom.

For the rest of the time, Leo and your mom acted like they didn't have that conversation, and you acted like you didn't hear it.
