Doctors said you would only have one day left to live. You had brain cancer and chemotherapy didn't work.

The doctors tried everything to cure you and remove the cancerous tissue, but the cancer spread too fast.

Your cancer causes constant migraines, throwing up, dizziness, and many other symptoms.

You and Leo, your husband, talked things out with doctors about how you want to pass.

You decided to pass at home because you wanted to be comfortable in your own bed.

Leo was a great husband and caretaker, so doctors trusted him. Leo has gone into depression since you found out that you were sick.

It was 9:30 PM and you were getting tired. You had a migraine that made your head feel like it was going to combust.

Leo noticed and picked you up bridal style. You were glad that Leo still stayed married to you after finding out about your sickness.

You have lost all your hair. You didn't want a wig because they were too itchy on your head.

Leo carried you up the stairs and into your shared bedroom. He sat you down carefully on the bed and pulled the covers over your body.

"Sleep the night honey." He said before kissing your forehead and then lips.

You groaned in pain as the pounding in your head became more intense and louder.

Leo climbed in bed right next to you. He didn't want you to leave the world tomorrow, but he knew it was going to happen by the increase in pain.

Leo just couldn't stand the thought of not having his love by his side.

"I'm going to make you your favorite breakfast in the morning." Leo softly said. He didn't want to increase the pain more than it already has.

"Th-thanks, but y-you don't have to." You whispered.

"Just let me try."

Leo started to cry a little bit. You realized this and carefully moved over next to him.

"What's wrong?" You whispered while caressing the side of his face.

"I don't want you to leave tomorrow. I don't want you to say goodbye to the world. I'm not ready for you to leave me. You're the person I love." He said while leaning into your touch.

You didn't know what to respond to Leo. You decided to remain silent and let your tears fall.

You softly kissed Leo's cheek and lied back down.

"Can you cuddle in my arms with me?" Leo asked.

"Leo, I would love to, but I think moving the slightest bit will increase the pain in my head." You sighed.

You wanted to cuddle with Leo for only a moment, but the stupid pain decided to come right when he asked.

You had the blanket all the way up to your chin. You tried to go to sleep, but you had goosebumps head to toe.

You were shivering because you were freezing cold. Now, you had to cuddle with Leo.

The pain in your head was less, so you rolled next to Leo and shook him awake.

He woke up immediately and looked at you concerned.

"I'm cold. Can we cuddle now?" You asked.

"Of course."

Leo opened his arms and you wrapped your frail arms around Leo's torso and laid your head on his chest.

He wrapped his arms around your body and laid back. He pulled you as close as possible into his chest.

"I love you." He whispered.

"Yeah."

Leo was shocked that you didn't repeat the words to him. You always did. Why weren't you now?

"Is something wrong? Are you okay?" Leo asked.

"I didn't repeat those words because..."

"Because why?"

"If I say them, it'll be harder for me to pass when the time comes tomorrow. I want you to find another person when I'm gone."

"Act like you love me so it'll help me move on."

"I can't act Leo. If I try to act, then I express my real feelings. I do love you, it's just I..." You sighed and didn't finish your sentence. Leo understood thankfully.

Leo knew that this would be the last night lying in bed with you by his side cuddled up to him.

Leo knew that you told him to move on when you're gone. He kept telling himself that he would only love you though.

Through the night while you were asleep, Leo would whisper 'I love you' over and over again.

At one point, you told him to stop. Not because it was annoying, but because he was making it harder for you.

He kept doing it anyways. Whether it was wrong or right, he didn't care because he wanted those to be the last words you hear from him if you end up passing sooner than the doctors expected.

Leo didn't want this to be the last night of cuddling, but it's what fate is. He knew by the morning you would be gone.

He knew that you wouldn't remember any of this because people don't keep their memories when they die.

He wanted to cuddle you so it wouldn't be easy to forget. You told him to forget everything when you pass, but he just can't.

You started to pull away from Leo because you wanted him to sleep. He pulled you in closer though.

"Stay and lay in my arms. Please." He pleaded.

"Leo, you need sleep."

"This is the last time we get to do this, and it's only for a moment. I can keep you warm and comfortable. Just...please." His eyes filled with tears.

"Leo..." You sighed.

"Just act like you love me." He let a single tear fall and that was your breaking point.

You broke down. You let all the tears you've been holding in for months and sobbed into Leo's chest.

He rubbed your back and kissed your forehead multiple times. Leo took care of you. That's one of the reasons you fell in love with him.

"Okay..." You managed to choke out.

You snuggled into Leo's chest while he pulled you impossibly closer.

Leo didn't want to see you leave the world because it would be harder for him to accept the fact that you said goodbye to the world.

He wanted to be asleep when you passed. But, he wanted to be with you for emotional support.

He wanted to tell you that it was okay to let go of your life line. He wanted to tell you how much you mean to him and how much he'll still love you.

When you leave the world, and say your goodbyes, Leo didn't want to see that. He was going to sob onto your lifeless body.

Leo wanted to wake up and find out this was all a dream. He's been hoping that for the past seven months.

It never worked, so he knows that this is real. This is life and things happen for a reason, even though we don't accept it.

He just wanted to find out it was a dream.

Leo finally fell asleep. He had nightmares that night and also had panic attacks in his sleep.

He woke up to you clutching his shirt and crying. You were weak and lifeless. He knew that the time has come.

You said your last words before dying in Leo's warm arms.
