LEOS POV

It's been 24 hours, and I still don't have a clue what I'm gonna say to Y/N. I still love her, but I have to protect her. whenever she sees me, she turns and walks the other way. She absolutely hates me. And I can't help but want her back.

Trust me, I've tried just about everything just to get her to talk to me. But... it doesn't work. I wish she would just forgive me. But in her defense, I wouldn't forgive me either. I was so selfish. But when it comes to her, I want to be selfish. I want her to myself. I want to protect her... myself.

Lately, as expected, that Gabe guy has been all over her, and, she seems happy. I'm glad, but it seems like I'm just a bad memory these days. Like I'm just some worthless heartbreak. I wish I never did that. I pushed her away. When I needed her most. It was foolish. If I had just told her, she would've made me feel better. Instead, I decided to just wallow in my depression alone.

How could I be so stupid.

How could I give her up so easily...

YOUR POV.

Leo has tried to talk to me multiple times. I want to talk to him, but I can't. I try to ignore him, so that I'll eventually get over it. But he's so pushy. I turn away so fast because I don't want him to catch me in tears. I try to tell myself that he'll never want me again. And that there's no point in talking. But I can't help but walk to bunker nine, and almost knock on the door.  Just to be too scared to do it.

I don't understand why he would do this to me.

I don't think I'll ever understand.

I guess that's just how it works.

I want him back so badly...

Why can't he just come over,

and silently make me break down...

I know that's exactly what I need,

To forgive him...

I was snapped out of my thought by Gabe. "Hey. How's everything?" He asked. "Still hurts." I said. He sat on the edge of my bed, and took my hand, and lifted my sleeve. Only to reveal the things that I wanted to deal woth alone. I pulled my wrist from his grip, and covered my scars. "You know that's getting annoying." I said. "Yeah? Well it's annoying when I tell you to stop and you don't." He replied. "Well, its not that simple." I said.

"So, you need a reason to stop?" He said. "Like i said, it's not that simple." I said. "I told you to stop, (Y/N)!!" He yelled.

"Why are you yelling?" I asked quietly. "Because, I would just trust you! But no, you need a reason to stop hurting yourself. I'll give you a reason, how about you're not the only one being effected. What about that dude,Leo?! He's probably hating life right now, and I can almost guarantee he's not taking a knife to his wrist. What about your siblings?! They probably feel awful for you!! What about me?! I care about you more than you could know!! But you still 'need a reason not to cut' so, tell me when you're gonna get over this. Hm?" He pushed.

I choked a sob. "Why don't you just leave me alone." I said. "No. I'm staying with you. Until you decide that you're a mature young adult." He said. Then it happened. I summoned my sword. Gabe looked shocked. Tears rolled down my cheeks. And I knew where I was going, a lot more were about to fall. I ran out of the cabin, towards bunker nine, Gabe on my tail. I took a detour, to loose him. I stopped in the forest. I started to walk in the direction of bunker nine. I saw it. Bunker nine. It started raining, my clothes were soaked.  My H/L hair was drenched, and I was cold. I started to run. I needed to see him again. I needed to break my own heart to heal.

In a flash I was unconscious. My last sight, was the grey, Cloudy Sky, pouring rain.

LEOS POV

It was getting late, and dinner was almost ready. So I walked to the door. I heard rain pouring outside even through the thick, stone walls. I grabbed my army jacket, and slipped it over my overalls I opened the door, and I couldn't believe my eyes. There, in the cold, mud, lied Y/N. I don't think I ever acted so fast when I slipped off my jacket, putting it over her, and holding her close. She was cold.

I tried to check her pulse, but let's just say, I was too panicked, and I'm no son of Apollo. I rushed her to the infirmary. Will was just about to walk to dinner when I caught up to him. "Will!" I yelled. My cheeks were wet with fresh tears. Gabe came running. "What did you do to her?!" He exclaimed "what the actual Fuck are you talking about?! I didn't do anything to her!!" I yelled. Will was setting her down on an infirmary bed, doing tests, and checking her heartbeat.

"She ran away looking for you! And the next time I see her, she's covered in blood,mud, and your filthy clothing!!" He yelled. I then grabbed him by his shirt. "You son of a bitch, if you think you can get away with pulling that shit with me, it's not gonna happen." I said. He snickered. "I'm not worried about you kicking my ass. Go ahead. But don't expect me to tell how it went down."

Out of habit, my hands, and head were engulfed in flames. I grabbed his cheek, and he screamed on contact. Will just stood there, witnessing it, until a familiar son of Hades broke the "fight". "What the fuck is going on?!" He screamed. Piper, Jason, Annabeth, and Percy were all gathered around us. "Leo?" Piper practically whispered. Percy looked pissed.

Even though it was pouring rain, He looked perfectly dry. "Why the Hell would you intentionally hurt another camper?!" He yelled. "Actually-" Will started. Nico stepped in front of him. And put a hand up. "No, Will. He needs to explain himself." Said Nico. "Look, I found Y/N in front of bunker nine, freezing cold, so I ran here." I started. Will slightly pushed Nico, to talk. "Gabe picked the fight. Not Leo." He said. "Will, don't feel sorry for him." Nico said.

"Nico, I'm telling the truth." Will said, resting his forehead on Nico's. "Okay, taking what will said into consideration, what happened to make you freak out like that?" Jason asked. Percy tapped his foot. Annabeth just glared at me like a disapproving mother. "He said I hurt Y/N." I replied. "And you just decided to burn him rather than taking things seriously, like a young adult?!" Annabeth cut off. "Annab-" Percy started. "No, Percy, don't. You couldn't just talk to my brother?!" Percy grabbed her, as she had started to walk towards me angrily.

"Guys, you don't understand-" I started. "Oh, I understand plenty." Annabeth cut in. "I guess it's just hard for you to act like an adult." Annabeth scolded. "Annabeth, I know you're mad, but you don't need to yell." Piper said. "Look Piper, I know that you think of Leo as your brother and all that, but he needs to grow up. " she said. "If you have a problem with him, you have a problem with me! So what exactly do you have to say to me?! Huh?!" Piper threatened. Jason then had to hold her back.

Nico stood in the doorway to the infirmary. "Leo, this is your fault. These two used to be best friends, and now... look at them." Said Nico. "Nico! He didn't do anything wrong!" Will defended. "Nico, he was mainly defending himself!" Will argued. "Will, he still hurt someone, that's not fair." Nico said.

I turned back to Piper and Annabeth, who were now released from the guys' grip, in each other's faces. Percy and Jason were arguing, flailing their arms around, being extra dramatic, just like the pretty boys they are.

Overwhelmed, I screamed, " SHUT UP!!" Everyone around me looked at me confused. "Go to dinner, I'll be in my cabin, and don't worry, I won't come out again." I said. "Leo!" Piper said, running. "Don't!" She said. "All I can seem to do is hurt people. It's for the best. And plus, maybe you and Annabeth can make up or something. You don't need me anyways." I said. I pulled away from her.

"Look what you did!" She screamed. "What I did?! That was his choice! I never told him to act immature!" Screamed Annabeth. "It's no ones fault!" Yelled Jason. " shut up Jason." Percy commented. "Oh Annabeth, look Percy is acting SO immature, what are you going to do?! Huh?! Yell at him too?!" Yelled Piper.

"Will! It doesn't matter!! He's dangerous!!" Yelled Nico. "You can be too, but we don't tell you to lock yourself away!!" Yelled Will. They argued as I walked back to bunker nine. I wish I just stayed with Y/N, then none of this would've ever happened. I was wet, cold, and sad. I fell asleep on an old couch that was moved in there. I was awoken by a curly blonde. I was instantly scared.

She tapped her foot impatiently. "Leo, wake up, or don't eat." She said. I sat up so fast. " what are you doing here?" I asked, as I scratched the back of my head with a yawn. Annabeth handed me a plate. I noticed a bruise on her cheek, and scratches on her arms. Her tank top was ripped as well. "What happened?" I asked. He rubbed her arm. "Me and Piper fist fought." She said. "Are you okay? Is she okay?" I asked. "Yeah, the boys have it worse." She said, sitting at the edge of the couch. I ate some green beans. "What do you mean? Did all four of you fight at once?" I asked. "No, the boys are still sorta fighting." She said, rolling her eyes.

"Okay, I know you just accused me of being super immature, but who won? You or Piper?" I asked. "It was more of a draw, Will and Nico pulled us apart. Just a side note, Nico is way stronger than he looks." She said. I chuckled. How about Y/N? Is she okay?" I asked. Annabeth sighed. "She's stable, but even after she wakes up, she's gonna have to stay in the infirmary." She replied. "Hm. Well, at least we know she'll pull through." I said.

"Yeah, she got extremely lucky that you got to her when you did." She said, "any longer, and she probably would've died of hypothermia." "So, I have a question." I said. "What is it?" Annabeth asked. "Why did you come to bring me food? You seemed to be the angriest." I said. "Because I was acting immature as well. When I'm angry, I can be very one sided to a situation. No matter how much evidence points to the other side being correct." She said, tucking a damp curl behind her ear.

"I'm sorry." She said. "I can't stay mad at you." I said. She giggled. "No, I'm serious, you might shoot lasers through your eyes if you glare at me hard enough." I said. Annabeth broke out in laughter. She wiped a tear away. "Well, you never know." She teased. I chuckled.

"Well, it's almost curfew, can you walk me to my cabin?" She asked. "Sure, but if we get attacked, I'm hiding behind you." I joked. "I wouldn't be surprised." Annabeth sighed. I walked her to her cabin, and continued to walk to my cabin. Hopefully I can talk to Y/N tomorrow, tell her what I've been wanting to tell her for a while now.
