All Koah remembers is he was heartbroken. He was in love with a girl and she slept with another man, shattering his heart. He went to the ocean by himself to be alone and cry.

The next moment, he found himself deep in the ocean, wrapped up in a mermaid's arms. The mermaid kissed him and he lost consciousness.

When he woke up, he was a mermaid. Since he's become a mermaid, he's come to learn that mermaids search for a broken soul and if that broken soul receives a kiss from a mermaid, they are cursed and also become mermaids for time and all eternity. And your memories of the past life you had fade away.

You've been sailing the seas since you were old enough to walk. Your father was a pirate, captain of his own ship. He raised you to be just like him. You looked up to your old man. Loved him to death.

That was until he passed away due to natural causes. You were heartbroken after losing your father. You were given the ship, the crew, your father's hat, you were now captain. It was everything you had ever dreamed of but you didn't want this. Not this way.

Late one night after all of the crew had already gone to bed, you were sitting on the deck looking out at the water and thinking over your current situation when a flash of bright blue fins appeared from the water before disappearing.

Mermaids.

You jumped up to your feet and unsheathed your sword, preparing yourself so you could protect yourself. You quickly woke the crew to ready the nets. The tired members got the nets and tossed them into the sea, dragging them up as something was caught. The nets fell to the deck, a male mermaid caught in the ropes.

He struggled and hissed, glaring at everyone. He snarled at you, knowing you were the captain. What do you do now?
