Chapter Fourteen

Lennox saw a girl with long, bronze red hair. She had a dirty face with a cut on her temple. It was still bleeding a little bit of fresh blood. Lennox noticed that the girl was in the middle of fire and ruins. She could see a building slowly falling behind the girl. Lennox couldn’t exactly tell where she was because she didn’t recognize any of the buildings that the girl was around.

They sky was getting dark. Maybe it was dusk. Lennox couldn’t be certain.

People were going past the girl. Some were running and others were dueling. In the sky and air around her, Lennox could see the lights as people shot spells at each other. There was too much yelling so Lennox couldn’t make out any of the spells that people were yelling.

Lennox then saw a light brown haired boy run past her and say something before he then looked around and ran again.

Lennox knew the boy. She could had seen that face so many times in her past.

It was Cedric Diggory.

Lennox then saw Bellatrix come up to the girl. She could hear screaming all around her as other people passed the two, but they didn’t notice the Death Eater with a knife in her hand. Lennox heard Cedric call out the girl’s name, but the warning came too late.

Bellatrix laughed in glee and triumph as she pushed the blade of the night into the girl’s back. The girl gasped with pain and looked down to see the knife-tip a little over her left breast. Lennox saw the redheaded girl fall to her knees as a black haired boy with round glasses came rushing to the girl, screaming her name.

Bolting up from the couch, Lennox banged her head on the lamp at the top of the couch on the desk. Lennox winced in pain and the lamp fell to a ground in an earth shattering crash, hurting her ears like the knife that had penetrated her flesh less than twenty-four hours ago.

“Lennox!” Harry called in alarm as he rushed into the sitting room.

Harry skidded to a halt and he looked at his sister and the lamp on the floor, figuring the story out in a matter of seconds.

Ginny, Neville, Hermione, Luna, and Ron weren’t too far behind Harry. They looked at the scene as well. Lennox was now holding her head where she had hit her lamp and she looked at Harry and said in a raspy voice, “sorry” before she winced in pain, remembering that she shouldn’t talk so that her throat could heal.

Harry sighed with relief that there wasn’t an intruder in the house like he had first thought.

“Nightmare?” he asked as he walked over to her.

Lennox nodded. Hermione took out her wand and pointed it at the broken lamp. She whispered something and the lamp then became back to its normal state, untouched and in perfect condition. Harry leaned down and picked up the newly perfected lamp before he set it back down on the desk.

“Was your nightmare about…him?” Harry asked.

Lennox shook her head and stared at him. He sighed and then asked, “was it about the future? Did you finally see something.”

Lennox hesitated before she lied to him and shook her head. Harry gave her a weak smile.

“How’s your throat?” Hermione asked her friend’s sister.

Lennox mouthed to her, ‘better’. Hermione nodded before she and Ron then walked to the couch that was across from the couch that Lennox was laying on.

“I’m going to be moving into Ginny’s room. Well…Ron’s room really. I moved my things into Ginny’s room, but I’m sleeping in Ron’s.” Hermione said.

“Don’t tell anyone else though. My mother wouldn’t be too impressed.” Ron said and both of them chuckled while the others smiled.

Lennox looked between them and shook her head and mouthed, “I couldn’t.”

“It’s fine, Lennox,” Hermione promised her. “You’re probably going to be here for a while and if you sleep on that couch the entire time then your back will start to hurt. Besides, after everything that has happened to you, and after everything that we had said to you, you deserve a bed. A comfy one. I have a bad back so my mattress is especially soft. You’ll be comfortable.”

Lennox shook her head and pointed to the couch. Hermione looked at Harry and smirked, “you’re like him. You are more than modest.”

Neville smirked as well.

“I already moved my things.” Hermione said, “now it’s just waiting for you.”

Lennox shook her head and pointed at the couch. Hermione chuckled, “Lennox. It’s better if you take it. Since the room is empty anyway, you might as well stay there. This is going to be your home as well, at least for a little while. You deserve a little privacy that a room offers.”

Harry shrugged when Lennox looked at him. She sighed and mouthed ‘fine’ to the couple. Hermione smiled and Ginny then said, “I know that this is kind of heavy, especially since you just woke up, but the Order and some of the Ministry will be here in a couple of hours. Harry told the rest of us while you were sleeping that…You-Know-Who is back. We sent letters to my family and some of the Ministry. They are going to be here in about three hours.”

Nodding again, Lennox held her head. It was starting to ach again. Neville quickly went to get her a glass of water, sensing her discomfort.

“Are you still tired?” Harry asked.

Lennox thought for a moment and nodded. Her head ached and she still felt a little drowsy, but she was determined to do something other than sleep today. She never thought that she had ever been this lazy before, except when she got her childhood sicknesses and Severus had made her stay in bed to get well.

Lennox mouthed Neville a thank you when he gave her a glass of water. She smiled at him and took a quick drink. She looked at the window to see that the sun was still out and shining. She sighed and looked at the clock to see that the Order and Ministry wouldn’t come over until nine o’clock. It gave everyone some time to get ready and get a speech prepared. Lennox wondered how she would break the news to everyone…or how Harry would since she couldn’t talk.

“Are you hungry?” Harry asked.

Lennox blushed but nodded. Harry grinned and told her, “we were going to have potatoes and chicken. Ginny and Hermione are almost done making it.”

Lennox nodded and thanked them again. She then decided that what she said was going to be important tonight. All of them deserved to know what she was going to say before hand so that they could at least wrap their head around the idea.

But then Lennox realized that they had enough to wrap their head around. They had to understand that she was Harry’s little sister, that there were three prophecies, and now, that Voldemort was back. Could they handle more than that? Could they understand all of these concepts over night like all of the other ones had?

But didn’t they have enough surprises in their lifetime. Lennox knew that there would be more to come, but she knew that there should be enough surprises for them. They’ve had a lifetime of surprises, mostly bad ones.

She wondered if whispering would be something that she could do.

“Harry?” Lennox whispered.

“Don’t talk! You’ll only hurt your throat more and make it worst and it won’t heal as fast.” Harry told her.

Lennox shook her head.

“No. You all need to hear this before I tell the others this evening,” Lennox whispered and everyone slowly came in so that they could hear her better.

“What’s so important?” Luna asked.

“You all know that Vol—sorry, You-Know-Who is back and I already know what his plans are. What You-Know-Who is trying to do is bring back everyone else that had died who was on his side. It will be the same way that he was brought back. He’s going to try to bring back just about everyone in history that was assorted with Dark Magic.” Lennox whispered.

Everyone looked horrified.

“So that could be Pettigrew, Bellatrix….all of those people?” Neville asked.

“Yes. I saw it all in a vision.” Lennox said.

“I already explained your visions to them as well,” Harry told her.

“Then you will understand what I mean. I saw Voldemort bringing back a lot of people. I saw Pettigrew, Greyback, Bellatrix, Scabior, I even saw Salazar Slytherin in one of my visions of Voldemort bringing people back.” Lennox said.

“The Salazar Slytherin?” Neville asked.

Lennox nodded.

“It’s going to make me extremely tired for a while because he is using my blood. Harry, you might feel it too since you were connected to You-Know-Who before.” Lennox told him.

Harry nodded.

“So he’s creating another army?” Ginny asked.

Lennox nodded.

“I know that you’ve been through a lot and you have received a lot of information recently, but you need to know this as well. That is why we need to make an army of our own.” Lennox told them.

“You have a plan?” Ron asked.

“I’ve had a plan since I was ten.” Lennox smiled.
