Appearance : Calliope is a stunning young woman of color, whose thick breast length hair frequents its natural soft black spring curls. She has a heart shaped face and her jawline is as sharp as a steak knife. Her natural skin is on the lighter side closer to a bronze or caramel color than a dark chocolate tone which brings question to her true ethnicity, however she tans heavily and frequently so the color of her skin changes with the seasons. Her lips are thick and usually colored a natural pale pink in their innocence, with a cute little pucker that most seem to ignore because of her ethnicity. Her eyes are a soft brown that seems to melt the hearts of many as chocolate does in the heat of summer, and a dark ring surround them to provide more definition to the fairly large almond shaped eyes. She stands at an average height of about 5'5 and has a slim body with a lean build, muscle can be seen but there is not the definition of abs quite there.

Personality : Calliope is a very accommodating girl, and strives to make everyone feel as comfortable as they can in all situations. It is said that she has motherly attributes which could be from the fact that she was a mother figure for her younger brother and sister. She tries her best to be kind and understanding in most situations, but this love for people and opinion that they all have good parts has caused her to become increasingly naive to the true fact that some people just aren't good people. She strives to stay positive and loves the though of a beauty and the beast type of romance, to fix someone's broken parts with her own pieces. She loves all aspects of the creative mind so you'll usually see her off somewhere daydreaming or staring at scenery when she's not helping someone else with their issues.

Backstory : Calliope has always been a positive and trusting girl, she was a bastard born from a rapist who was never found, and the person she grew up with as a father figure always made sure she knew it. She never complained though, always saying to herself that his anger was valid. His wife bore the child of a rapist and he was forced to take care of it, no one would be happy about that situation... right? When she was 7 years old her mother gave birth to a set of fraternal twins, a boy and a girl, and with their lives came their mother's death. Her stepfather was livid, and barely took care of his children, preferring to spend his time on drinking or drowning himself in work to avoid seeing the faces of the children that were finally genetically his, but took away the love of his life. Since their father wasn't heavily in the picture, Calliope took it upon herself to take care of them, making friends with neighbors (through much hard work given her skin color and birth situation) so there was someone taking care of them while she was in school, and then coming home and making them her first priority. She would read and write in the little bit of free time that she had, and became a published romance author at the age of 17.
