okay, so, basically—steve dies, bucky turns off the switch of his own "humanity," becomes the equivalent of a ripper, and someone has to find and hunt him down. shield is adamant on killing him, as he is the prime suspect, but the remnants of the avengers have other ideas.

ana westley, the badass medic on call, isn't considered an avenger to the public, but civil war still shook her to the bone. kidnapped by an underground civilization and turned into a mythological creature, she was considered to be killed for nothing was known about her—a simple nurse, living in near poverty. the avengers instead chose to spare her. she normally chooses to not use her powers, until now.

this is where it gets tricky. you could either have her track bucky down, for they were best friends before the tragedy, or her BROTHER, alec. the rest of this concerns what would happen if you chose the latter. after the dramatic race with the authorities to find the man suspected of killing captain america, alec westley is very, very tired, but has to stay sharp on his toes to keep his little sister, ana, away from her former best friend. alec uses the typical "he's stronger than you, and he isn't himself" which ensues her working out and slowly learning how to use her powers (with the help of wanda and natalia)

in the end, idk, maybe someone gets better. maybe someone dies. it's all a big mess.
