When the World is Crashing Down

When the whole world is crashing down,
And there's nothing left all around:

You're sinking, like an ocean wave
Is burying you in an icy grave,
The currents dragging you under
Roaring in your ears like thunder,

You're shriveling, consumed by fire
Like dead leaves and brier,
Oxygen is slowly sucked away
Until shrunk into oblivion all the way,

You're disconnecting as the wind
Chips away at your skin,
Whisks you into a unknown place,
Probably worse than you currently face,

You're suffocating, Earth encircles
You in millions of dirt mounds,
Enveloping you before imposing
A cage forever enclosing.
