Javan Ki Aas
Javan Ki Aas
Vatan ki maati se latpat
Khada hai vah sarhad par
Maa ke anchal se door
Kar raha hai seva doosri maa ki.
Gaon ki khusboo hai yaad karta
Par unhi ki raksha karne
Ladta hai vo din raat
Apne budhe baap se door.
Apni dilruba ko gale lagana
Hai uski tamanna
Ussi ki khairiyat ke khatir
Sinne se lagata hai vah banduk ko.
Apne bachon ki khilkilati hasi
Ki yaad usse hai satati
Par uss hasi ko barkarar rakhne
Vo goliyon ki aavazon ke bich hai rehta.
Hai vah iss desh ka beta
Door apne apnon se
Par ek hi ass hai uske man mein
Tiranga uncha rahe hamara.
Translation:
Aspiration of a Soldier
He is standing on the border covered in the soil of his motherland. He is away from the warmth of his mother's love serving his other mother.
He misses the smell of his village but to protect them from harm he fights day and night away from his old father.
He wishes to hug his lover (wife) but for her well-being he puts a gun against his chest.
The memories of of his children's laughter make him miserable but to maintain that smile he lives between the sounds of bullets.
He is a son of this country who is away from his well-wishers. But his only aspiration is that his tricolor (flag) always stays high.
Lekhak dwara kuch shabd
Main aasha karti hun aap sab khairiyat hain. Yah aaj tak ki meri sabse achi kavita hai jo maine aaj hi kuch samay poorva likhi. Maine aadmi ka isstamal ladkiyon ko kam karne ke liye nahi kiya. Vah sipahi koi bhi ho sakta hai. Mujhe yah umeed hai ki aap sabko bhi yah bhayegi.
Vande Mataram!
Bharat mata ki jai!

Some words from the author/Author's Note
I hope you all are safe and sound. This is the best poem I have ever written. I wrote it today a little while ago. I did not use a man to demean women. That soldier can be anyone. I hope you all also like it.
I praise thee, mother!
Long live mother India!
