A/N : Ok this is a short chapter because it is super late were I am but I will update more tomorrow I promise. :)

Andrea was helping Sam with Bill the pony who was having a struggle to get through the snow. Behind them was Boromir , Aragorn and Frodo. Gandalf and the others were slightly ahead of Andrea and Sam. Suddenly Andrea heard Frodo cry out in surprise as he rolled down the snow. Thankfully Aragorn was there to help him. Frodo stood up and felt around his neck looking for the ring. Andrea watched as she saw Boromir pick it up. Andrea tried to hear what he was saying but the wind was drowning out almost every single bit of sound. '' Boromir!'' Andrea finely heard Aragorn yell. '' Give Frodo the ring.''     '' As you wish....I care not.''       He said handing the ring out as Frodo quickly snatched it back.   Boromir laughed slightly and ruffled the hobbits hair before climbing back up strapping his shield to his back. Andrea watched Aragorn take his hand off his sword and she let out a sigh of relief. -Time skip- The wind was blowing harshly as snow pilled thicker. Gandalf was in the lead making a path through the deep snow with his staff. Andrea was helping again with Bill whispering encouragement to the pony. Legolas walked on top of the snow as if he could walk on the air its self. Of course Andrea could do this too but she would leave footprints because she was only half elf. '' Lazy elf. '' She had heard Gimli say making her laugh. But even she couldn't hear her own laughter for the wind seemed to blow it away. Legolas trotted ahead his eyes skimming the sky ahead. '' There is a foul voice on the air.'' Andrea listened and indeed there was a strong voice echoing around the mountain. '' Its Saruman!'' Gandalf yelled. Just then a blanket of snow came tumbling down and everyone quickly pushed themselves against the mountain wall. '' He's trying to bring down the mountain! Gandalf we must turn back!''  Aragorn yelled.   '' No!'' Gandalf replied as he stood up chanting a spell. But Saruman's voice was stronger for a bolt of lightning hit the mountain sending heaps of snow crashing down . Andrea found herself being buried in snow. Andrea only saw white around her as she tried digging her way to the top when she stuck out her hand she felt it being pulled. Soon she was gasping for air at the top of the snow,. She nodded her thanks to Boromir before quickly digging poor Bill out. It took her some time but she finely got him out and started to calm him down. '' Hush Mellon hush.'' She whispered to Bill. ( Hush friend hush.) ''-Let the ring barer decide.' She heard Gandalf say. Turning her head she looked confused until Frodo spoke. ''We will go through the mines.'' Andrea felt her skin go cold. ( If that's even possible. XD ) And the color leave her face. '' So be it.''   Gandalf said. Andrea had heard many tales of how greedy the dwarves had been and had dug to deep waking up the demon of fire....a Balrog.  -Time skip- Sam Andrea and Aragorn were unsaddling Bill he could not go through the mines with them. '' Farewell.'' Andrea said kissing Bills nose. '' Goodbye Bill.'' Sam said. '' He will know the way home.'' Aragorn said patting Sam's shoulder. Andrea walked over to Gandalf who was sitting on a rock trying to remember the password to opening the doors to the mine. She handed him his pipe. He looked up at her smiling and taking it. She smiled and then lent against the stone wall. Andrea felt someone lean next to her looking out of the corner of her eye she saw Legolas. '' Why did you come along.'' Legolas asked surprising Andrea. '' I thought my father would have told you?'' Andrea said looking at him. '' He did.'' Legolas said. Andrea face wore a look of confusion. '' Then why-'' Andrea started but was cut off by Legolas. '' You are only slowing us down  , it its to dangerous for a She-Elf.'' His words were cold and hard. Andrea was shocked but also offended. '' You underestimate me Legolas Greenleaf.'' Andrea said her anger ready to burst. '' Do I now?'' He said furrowing his eyebrows. Andrea held her temper, she would not let him get to her. '' Do not the Woman of Mirkwood fight.'' Andrea said '' Yes they do but hose are elves of Mirkwood, She-Elves of Rivendale do not fight as much or at all.''  Andrea felt a hot tear of anger run down her face. Before she or he could say another word Frodo interrupted by saying. '' Its a riddle.....speak friend and the door will open.'' A ndrea walked over leaving Legolas. '' What's the Elvish word for friend?'''  Gandalf looked at Frodo.  '' Mellon.''   He said. A sound of stone cracking filled their ears as the doors opened. '' Ha.'' Gandalf said smiling.
