'' Gandalf?!''    Andrea was shocked , over joyed and overwhelmed with thoughts and questions.    '' It can not be.''     Aragorn said stepping forward slightly looking t the old man.  '' Forgive me.''       Legolas said getting on one knee bowing towards Gandalf.    '' I mistook you for Saruman.''          Gimli also bowed as did Andrea.       '' I am Saruman, or rather Saruman as he should have been.''         Aragorn looked confused.      '' You fell.''       Gandalf's face grew a little grim.       '' Threw fire and water , on the lowest dungeon to the highest peek I fought with the Balrog of Morgorf. Until at last I threw down my enemy and  smote his rune Upon the mountain side. Darkness took me  and I strade  out of thought and time , stars blazed over head and every day was as long as a life age of the earth..but it was not the end. I felt life in me again , and  I have been sent back until my task is done.''     Gandalf finished.       '' Gandalf.'' Aragorn said making the old man look at him.      '' Gandalf?  Yes  that is what they used to call me, Gandalf the Grey.''     Andrea smiled.   '' Gandalf.''   Gimli said tears in his eyes and a smile on his face.    '' I am Gandalf the White, and I come back to you now at the turn of the tide.''        Gandalf then looked over to Andrea and smiled.   '' Andrea dear , you haven't changed yet I see.''          Andrea heaved in a breath and ran and embraced her old dear friend, tears of joy pricking her eyes. Gandalf chuckled and returned it embracing her.  Aragorn , Gimli and Legolas smiled at the scene before them .  Andrea laughed for joy a smile spreading wide on her face as she back up and looked into the wise kind old eyes she had missed.         '' I thought you would never return.''        She said smiling. Gandalf chuckled once more.     '' Your not going to  rid of me that easily.''   Andrea laughed then looked back at the others smiling. Legolas smiled at her. She was truly the kindest and gentles soul he had ever met. Gandalf then took a Grey cloak that was hung up on a tree branch and swung it around himself hiding his white robe.    '' Come.''    He said walking forward. Aragorn walked ahead speaking with Gandalf as they made their way out of Fangorn.  Gimli stayed beside Aragorn talking to Gandalf now and then.  Andrea walked along side Legolas looking ahead a small smile on her face and hope in her eyes.  Legolas would glance at Andrea from time to time, Taking in her features her smile and her beautiful blue eyes that sparkled and tinkled when she laughed or smiled. '' Legolas , Legolas?!''  Legolas was snapped out of his thoughts as Andrea called his name looking at him. Legolas smiled. '' I'm alright Mellon just thinking.'' Andrea smiled  and then looked ahead. '' I'm going to come back here some day.''     '' What?''        Legolas said looking at Andrea. Andrea only smiled as she looked around.       '' When the ring is destroyed, when the darkness has left this wood I wish to return..to see it again.''    Legolas smiled. '' I too was thinking of returning, in perhaps of meeting the Ents.'' Andrea smiled. '' Yes i too wish to meet one or two at least, my father has told me many a tale about the tree shepherds.''      Their conversation came to an end as they all stepped out of the thick forest and into the light of the sun.  Gandalf then let out a sharp clear whistle. It echoed about the vast land clear as Crystal.  Andrea looked over the land before her eyes cot on something white coming over the land fast. She watched as it came into full view over a hill.  '' That is one of the Mearas unless my eyes are not cheated by some spell.''   Legolas said as he help Arod's rains.  The horse came right up to them and stopped in front of Gandalf. '' Shadowfax is the lord of all horses.''    Gandalf said as Andrea and the others bowed the heads in respect.    '' And has been my friend through meny dangers.''       Gandalf finished stroking Shadowfax's neck.  Andrea smiled. '' Come we must be off.'' Gandalf said turning to the others. He looked at the two other horses and then Andrea. '' Were is your horse Andrea?''        '' I rode with Aragorn, there were no other horses to spare.''       Andrea replied.  '' Oh well then you shall ride with Shadowfax and I, you are light after all and he will have no trouble caring two of us.''     Andrea opened her mouth to say she would be fine with riding with Aragorn but Gandalf raised his had showing his decision was final.  Andrea smiled and shook her head slightly.    '' As you wish Gandalf.''        Gandalf smiled and turned around mounting Shadowfax.  Andrea walked over to Shadowfax.  Andrea felt some one beside her and looked to find Legolas.     '' May I?''    He asked. He was asking if he could help her up onto Shadowfax.  Andrea smiled and nodded. Legolas put his hands on her waist and hoisted her up onto Shadowfax's back behind Gandalf.       '' Thank you Legolas.''      Gandalf said as he smiled back at Andrea.    '' Are you ready my dear?''      He asked.  Andrea smiling nodded as she held onto the wizards back.   And they were off. Andrea felt as if they were flying across the plains rather then ridding. The wind kept her hair out of her face as she took notice how gracefully Shadowfax ran.  She looked back at the others and laughed slightly. Gandalf chuckled.   '' Your still the little elf I met so meny years ago.''   He said smiling.  Andrea grinned. She was excited for the journey ahead no matter how many hardships they may cross. She was glad the she had her good friends with her to help her get threw them.
