(Okay, second to last episode of the season. I hope you enjoy it and I already had begun writing the next chapter.)

So after things calmed down, I made the bar disappear and we all float around. (Zero-G, baby.) Just had to be careful not to bump into some junk that was in here as well. Other than being so out of depth in my element with space, anti-gravity was not all that bad. I felt weightless and enjoyed floating around. Definitely different than hovering. I watch the guys and Lloyd and how they all dealt with the no gravity thing. Jay was doing well as he just relaxed while the others just trying to navigate the space of the hull we are in. I hold my hands up to prevent myself from hitting my head against a wall then gently push away and float across the space.

"Is this the greatest thing ever or what?" Jay says. "Where are you? We're trapped in space and you... Where do you go?" Kai says at him. Sounding pretty frustrated, if I may add. "Guys, we're in space. I thought this is stuff only Fritz Donnegan gets to enjoy." I roll my eyes at that. "Fritz is from a comic book, dude. This is real!" Lloyd retorts. "Well, you got me hooked on the character. Would you lighten up and not step on my dreams of being a real Starfarer just yet?" I float by him and whack him on the head. "Ow!" He yelps, rubbing the backside of his head where I hit him. "As much as I love the feel of no gravity, space isn't just the setting of the Starfarer franchise, Jay. It's real and has a lot of dangers. Not to mention that if this thing comes apart, my powers are our best bet of not freezing and having our breath literally being taken away." I inform him, holding my hand up to stop my head from hitting the wall again.

"We have to find a way to take control of the ship. If they get the Golden Weapons back to the Overlord, Ninjago doesn't stand much of a chance." Lloyd says. I look over and see him get knocked away by Kai and he screams as he tries to gain some control. "But there's no access to the rest of the ship. The only way out is through the same airlock we came in." Kai states. "And going off my memory bank along with(Y/N)'s say from earlier, space does indeed have a way of taking one's breath away. In the negative sense." Zane informs. I maneuver myself to have my feet against the wall then use the momentum to float to Lloyd and grab him as I use my powers to get us to stop spinning. "I hate to say it, but we are way out of our depth." I state. Yeah... We should have thought this through better.

Zane then moved over to the computer. "Enjoy it while you can, Jay. Because in five minutes, the entire ship is scheduled to lighten up. The supplemental boosters are set to detach." He informs. Shoot. "Uh, I'm a ninja, not an astronaut. What does that mean?" Kai asks. I turn to face him, "It means that in less than five minutes now, the part of the ship we are in will no longer be a part of the ship. We'll be abandoned." I explain. I hear static and look over at the computer to see, "Hello? Kai? Anyone? Can you read me?" Nya, Wu Garmadon and Pixal. I hold onto Lloyd as I summon a platform under my feet and push myself forward to be beside Zane. I let go of Lloyd after he got a good grip. The rest of the guys group up around us. "We read you loud and clear." Kai responds.

I smile as they all cheer in relief. "Good to hear you all. We're going to help you get home safe. Pixal was able to find the blueprints for the rocket." Wu says then shows the blueprints on the screen. "You need to escape the cargo hold before it's too late. Near the front of the ship is an A2 storage compartment. Inside are emergency spacesuits." He informs. "That will be a doozy. We can't get the spacesuits unless we go outside. The problem is we can't go outside without the spacesuits. Any other suggestions?" Cole says. I think for a moment. Think, think, think! "They are completely out of their element. Even if they get through this, what chance do we have of getting them home?" I hear Garmadon says. "Uh, we can still hear you." Kai says. "Yeah, we could really use some encouraging words about now." Lloyd adds. "If you cannot change your circumstances, change yourself." Wu says.

"Hm, can anyone else figure that one out?" Kai asks. "His wisdom takes a while to set in. But we don't have a while!" Jay shouts as he grabs the camera. I pull him away from it so we can see the screen. "I hate time limits." I complain. "Zane, you're the only one who can survive outside the ship." Pixal says. "She's right. I'm the only one who doesn't need oxygen. I must go alone." Zane says. "Please, be careful. Even if you can withstand the cold with your powers, space has its surprises." I tell him. He nods then floats to the other side of the room and opens the door that leads to the air lock. I float over with the guys as Zane closes the door and we look through the window. "Go get 'em, Zane." Kai encourages him. Zane disappears from view and I inhale deeply. Be safe, Zane.

Zane's P.O.V.

I must be quick. We cannot fail. I cannot fail. I open the doors and quickly grab a line to hold on as the air exits the airlock. Once it ends, I quickly pull myself forward and grab a bar. I look up and see the ship. I pull myself upwards and let go of the bar. I grab a bar of the window and see nindroids. Cryptor turns around and I quickly lower down but I lost my grip. "No. No. No. No!" I float back and try to get a grip on something. Anything. I float away from the ship. I breathe quickly as I get further away. The ship is far too out of reach. Shoot.

No. I just remain cool. "Come on, Zane. You can do this. You can get back." I tell myself. I close my eyes and calm myself to think. I am not without power. I open my eyes, "Ice!" I summon my powers and create ice particles to push me to the ship. I grab onto a piece of the ship and look over at the very door to the compartment that has the spacesuits for my friends. I move over and grab the bar as I see there is a panel. I quickly input possible codes until I get the right one. The door opens and I smile as I enter it. Five spacesuits. Perfect. I then felt something. Urgency. Don't worry, (Y/N). We still have time.

Third Person P.O.V.

"Booster separation on my command." Cryptor orders. "Five, four, three, two..." He counts down. Garmadon, Wu, Anya and Pixal awaiting to hear from the Ninja. "Disengage." Cryptor orders and a nindroid pulls a lever that detaches the boosters and the cargo hold. The cargo hold enters the planet's atmosphere as it burns up. The group at Borg Tower wait to hear anything from the team, but start to to worry as they are met with silence. "We made it!" Lloyd says. The group cheers in relief. "We have our spacesuits and found one way to change ourselves." Lloyd informs.

"At least now we can stay on this ride a bit longer." Lloyd says as he and the others hold onto a wing of the ship. "Alright, to commandeer the ship, you have to get to the cockpit. You'll find an access hatch just ahead of you." Nya says to them. They look and find the hatch at the front of the ship. "You know what's also ahead? A desolate void of nothingness. If anyone of us falls off..." Cole says, fearing of the possibility. (Y/N) feels his distress and grabs his hand, "We have your back." She tells him. "We'll take it slow. Together." Kai states. The thrusters suddenly activate and the Ninja hold on as they scream.

"I can't wait to see the expressions on the faces of those metal chrome domes when the they find out we've stowed away on board." Jay says. "They're Nindroids, nimrod, they don't have expressions." Cole states. "Oh, yeah. Well, Zane has expressions. Ow!" Jay yelps as (Y/N) punched him in the arm. Hard. "Don't put Zane in the same class as those heartless buckets filled with bolts." She states. But unknown to the team, their conversation was being heard by the nindroids. "Zane's not like them. Do we really have to over this right now?" Kai asks as he and the team make their way to the hatch. "It's just so quiet, I'm only trying to fill the space. Get it? Space." Jay laughs. "Get rid of them." Cryptor orders. Minidroid and some other nindroids hurry out of the control room. Cryptor opens up a com link as a holographic panel appears in front of him. "The Ninja have stowed away." He informs. "Stay on course for the Golden Weapons. They must be getting help. We'll track down who's aiding them." Pythor orders.

The Ninja continue climbing across the rocket, but then stop. "So much for our surprise attack. Look out!" Cole exclaims as Nindroids open fire at them. (Y/N) acts quick and summons a shield to protect them. One nindroid activates its boosters as it jumps to be closer to them, it activates its magnetic feature as it lands and fires at the shield. Jay notices an antenna, he grabs it, "(Y/N), give me an opening!" He says. (Y/N) looks over and does so then Jay lets go of the antenna and it hits the nindroid, sending it back and Jay grabs its blaster as he moves to be standing opposite of the nindroids. "Wow!" "Cool!" "Go, Jay!" "All right!" The guys cheer as Jay fires at the nindroids. "Not Jay. Fritz Donnegan! Fear isn't a word where I come from!" Jay quips as he plays a little with the blaster. "Oh, man. I'm sorry for introducing him to that." Lloyd says. "Don't be. If we can't change our circumstances, that some way to change yourself." Kai states.

The nindroids continue firing as they get closer to them. "Well, then let's see what else we can change." (Y/N) says, dropping the shield as she and the others move. Kai lights his hand on fire and shoots a fireball, "Fire!" It hits a nindroid and sends it out into the void. More nindroids appear and continue to fire at them. Lloyd dodges a blast then summons an orb with his powers and surrounds himself with it to provide protection. The team avoid the lasers as they work to get closer. Cole removes a piece for the rocket, "Hope we didn't need that." He says then throws it, it hits a nindroid and sends it off. "Ice!" Zane sends an orb off ice and Minidroid dodged it as two nindroids get encased in by it. (Y/N) dodges lasers after lasers then shoots purple flames at the nindroids. They stop firing to hold up their arms to block the flames and when it stops they move their arms away and instead get impaled by crystals shards that caused them to short out or hit by rocks that sends them flying away from the rocket. ((Y/N) is brutal. But still gotta keep it PG.)

One nindroid lands in front of Cole. "Ninja-!" Cole performs Spinjitzu, but lost his footing and started to drift off. "Uh-oh! Ah!" Cole yells. "Cole!" Kai shouts. "Guys! A little help, please?" Cole says as he drifts off. One nindroid aims his blaster at him, but gets punched by (Y/N) and is sent away. "We can't use Spinjitzu in zero gravity. There's too little resistance." Zane states. "Too little? I'd say the resistance is a bit more than we can handle." Lloyd says, still holding up the orb to protect himself. Jay grunts as he knocks the back of the head of a nindorid, "Haven't you heard, Scurge? Nor free rides." He says to it as the nindroids floats around, he then kicks it away.

"Help!" Cole cries out. "Cole!" (Y/N) shouts then grunts as one nindroid jumps onto her back. She wrestles with it to get it off her. "Jay! Don't let Cole get away! Fritz! Save him!" Kai exclaims. "I'm on it, Commander Kiflin!" Jay says, still pretending to be Fritz. "Jay! ENOUGH with Starfarer!" (Y/N) shouts, she then flips nindroid off her back and into the void. Jay moves and floats over a nindroid, kicking it away and landing back on the ship. He pulls out a pipe and uses the air to blow away Minidroid, "I just blew you away. Ha, ha." Jay laughs at his quip. Minidroid flairs back but grabs a cable to stop himself. He ends up in one of the thrusters and they activate.

"Help!" Cole shouts. He breathes heavily as he floats further away. Jay looks back and then looks to see what he can use. He finds a safety line and quickly clips it onto his suit. "Fritz Donnegan to the rescue!" He exclaims as he jumps off the ship and floats towards Cole. "Heeeeeeeeeeelp!" Cole yells. Jay hardens his expression as he reaches out and grabs Cole's feet. The line halts them for drifting any further. "Gotcha! Next time, don't get carried away." Jay quips. Zane and Kai pull on the line to bring them back while (Y/N) and Lloyd provided cover for them. "Thanks, I owe you one." Cole thanks Jay. "Okay. Stay away from Nya." Jay states. "Seriously? Still on that?" Cole says, baffled that Jay still thinks he is after Nya.

Back in the bridge, the nindroids focus on a comet that they are following. "The Golden Weapons. Prepare for entry. But take us through the comet's tail." Cryptor orders, pressing a button to strap him in. "General, the comet's letting off a high volume of debris." One nindroid warns. "Do it." Cryptor orders. The nindroid shares a look with another but they comply and direct the ship into the tail of the comet.

The rocket activates its thrusters as it heads towards the comet. "You are almost to the cockpit. Just make sure to continue your course. And focus on the task ahead." Wu's voice is heard through the Ninja's coms, though static interfered. The rocket was now trailing after the comet and the Ninja took cover behind Lloyd, who still had his shield up, while nindroids still shot at them. "Sensei? I'm getting interference. I can't hear you!" Kai says, struggling to hear Wu. "Look Out!" (Y/N) shouts as a giant piece of debris almost hits them, but (Y/N) formed a shield and deflected it away. "Asteroids." Zane says. One hits Lloyd and it breaks his concentration the orb disappears and he falls onto his back.

"Cryptor's steering us into the tail of the comet. Find cover!" Kai exclaims. The Ninja quickly move to avoid another asteroid and hold onto the rocket. "Cover? What cover?!" Cole asks him as there is no cover in sight. Some nindroids jump back into the rocket and the hatch closes while some still remain outside. Two hug each other as they look at the asteroid me around them. "Hey, ha-ha. They do have expressions. Ha." Jay laughs as he is proven right. "Doesn't matter. Get down!" (Y/N) pulls him down as asteroids hit the nindroids. "Never mind." Jay says, his voice small.

Nya's P.O.V.

We lost connection. Oh, I hope they are okay. "They can't hear us because of the asteroid shower." Sensei says. "They must be preparing to land." Pixal says. "But we have to warn them about what else is on that comet." Garmadon states. But then I notice on one of the screens that... Oh, no. "Yeah, uh... We're not alone either." I inform. A bunch of nindroids are approaching Borg Tower. And after us. We all look at another screen as the entrance is blown up, and Pythor is leading them. Borg is also there with them, still under the control of those spider legs, and a giant container which must contain the Overlord. Shoot.

I take off my headset. "We must go." "But we have to warn them. We can't just leave without telling them what else is out there." Garmadon argues with Sensei. "Grab everything you can." Sensei orders. We all grab what is essential in keeping contact with the Ninja. I grab the monitor then look around for an escape and see the broken window. "This way." I tell the others. Thank goodness we did not get that fixed.

Third Person P.O.V.

The Ninja held on tightly as the rocket speeds up towards the comet. "They're coming in hot." Kai says. Lloyd lost his grip. "LLOYD!" (Y/N) let go and grabs his hand then forms a rope with her powers thar Jay grabs and holds on tight but lost his grip but got Zane grabs him in time. He lost his grip and Kai grabs him as Cole grabs him as he lost his grip. "Hold on!" Kai shouts. Cole keeps a tight grip on the rocket as it almost meets with the comet. It all goes dark for a moment. (Suspense.) The rocket carefully flies as it avoids the large jagged rocks.

Nya's P.O.V.

We all got on the lift that is used to clean windows. I hear hissing then heavy breathing. "The Golden Master will rise on their return!" I remain quiet. The Overlord. "He's vulnerable. We must fight him now." Garmadon says. "No. Not until we get the Ninja home safe. We must get back in contact. We need to find somewhere we can't be found." Sensei states. "I know just the place." Garmadon says. But then the lift starts to shake and we look up to see Borg cutting one of the lines with a laser. Oh, no! "They found us." I look down and, okay, thar is a really long way down. "Don't lose those computer components. We need them all!" I tell them. The line snaps and we all scream as we all fall back, but thankfully the barrier keeps us from falling off. Thankfully, all components are still intact. "Hurry, use our momentum. Together." Sensei says. "Now!" We jump and land on the helipad but Sensei missed. Garmado grabbed him just in time though. "I got you, brother."

Lasers fire at us and set down the monitor as I open my fan to shield us. "Great, now we'll never get out of here." Things are looking not-so-good right now. "Leave that to me." I hear Pixal. I block more lasers and reflect them back. I hear a loud humming and look behind to see a hover-copter. "Good thinking! You're still linked to the security forces." I praise Pixal. I put away my fan and grab the monitor. "Now let's get out of here." With pleasure. We all hop in and Pixal flies us away. "I hope the city can survive without us." Garmado says. "So to the Ninja, I pray." Sensei says. So do I. So do I.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I swear, when this is over, I am NEVER leaving the planet again. I summoned a ball to shield us as we made impact with the ground of the comet. We rolled around for a bit until we finally stopped. I sigh as the ball pops and we all fall onto the ground. (*POP*) "We survived." I hear Jay breathe out and hear tapping as I assume he is trying to kiss the ground. He laughs a little, "(Y/N), I have never been more thankful for your shields in all my life." He says. "Same." I reply. After a moment, we all got up and look to see the rocket. A little banged up but still intact. Mostly intact.

"Nya, are you there? Dad? Wu? Anyone?" Lloyd says into the coms. It was quiet. But we had to move forward. "Maybe the others didn't make it." Kai says as we all start walking towards the rocket. We entered it and and it to the cockpit. "They're all gone." Zane says as the place was empty. "They must have already left for the weapons." Cole says. "Quick, let's take the ship before they get back. Ahh, they took the launch key." Jay says. "Are you telling me this entire ship starts up with a simple little key?" I place my hands on my waist as I give Kai a look. "So is a car and you never had that problem before." I sass him. "Come on, tell me one of you knows how to hot wire this thing?" Cole says. I cross my arms, "Nope. And it's not the same as hot wiring a car." I state. "Wait, does that mean you hot wire a car before?" Jay asks. I look away as I remain silent. (Whistles innocently.) "(Y/N)-" "Hey, guys, come and see this!" Thank you, Lloyd. We follow him and enter a large room with one vehicle in it. "They took lunar rovers. Looks like they left tracks to follow." I smirk.

We all pile in the rover and immediately follow the tracks. "Agh! Move your gas tank, I can't see." "Your blaster is in my rib. "That's not a blaster, that's my leg." "Zane, you're squeezing my arm." "I thought that was the accelerator." It was a tight fit. We hit a bump and grunt but continue forward. We then stop as we arrived to the entrance of the cave and I gasp softly as feel the familiar power of the Golden Weapons. "This must be where the Golden Weapons landed." Kai says as we park. We get out and walk into the cave. The area is lit with a golden hue as we hide behind some stalagmites to view down at gold in the center of the crater. "There's the weapons." I hear Cole say. I blink and my vision changes as I see the power emitting from the gold. It is so bright that I squinted a little.

"And there's the key." I blink and look over at Cryptor to see said key. But then one nindroid touched the gold and poofed out of existence. My vision returns to normal as I gasp at that. That had not happened since Samukai tried to wield all the weapons at once. "Those are the Golden Weapons, all right." I hear Jay say. "Hello there, little friend." Huh? I look over and see Zane with a little bug on his hand. However, my powers flare up as I felt something from it. I then felt a lot more. "You must not disturb the alien life. They are very dangerous. Can you hear me?" I shake my head as I hear Wu, albiet there is still static due to the long distance. "I could make that out, Sensei. What did you say?" I hear Kai say. "Master, specify as to how dangerous?" I say to him.

"The alien life. They're dangerous." He repeats. "How?" I stress. "A few years ago science studied a meteorite that had fallen to Ninjago. It most likely came from the same comet you're on." Nya informs but then my powers flare up and I look to find a whole lot more of those bugs. I take a step back. "Unfair the meteorite, there were the fossilized remains of some parasite that feeds on metal alloys." I swat some bugs away. I hear Zane and Jay laugh and look over to find them covered in those things. "No! Get rid of them!" I exclaim and remove the bugs but more appear. "Why? They tickle." Jay laughs. "Do you hear me? Whatever you do, don't come in contact with the parasites. They eat through metal!" Nya exclaims.

"Agh! They're eating through my exoskeleton!" Zane shouts. I help him remove the bugs. "Bad Glowy, bad!" Jay scolds. They guys scream as they try to get rid of the bugs. I summon my powers and send out a wave to push the bugs away then summon a shield to protect us. I pant as they try to get to us. "Of all the things we had to encounter on this rock, it had to be metal-eating bugs!" Cole complains. I feel the ground shake and look to find the nindroids drive off with the gold. "Shoot! They've got the gold." I state. "What so we do? Any ideas, guys?" Zane says. "Space. Why did we come to space? If I cloud change any circumstance, I'd change coming here in the first place." Wait... Chang. Circumstance. "If you can't change your circumstances, change your mind." I smile as I feel Lloyd with an idea "Now's not the time to be quoting Wu." Jay complains. "No. I finally see what he means. This is just like the Starteeth." Lloyd says. "We use them to our advantage." I state. "Exactly. Come on, I've got an idea." Lloyd says. I drop the shield and we make a break for it.

We gathered into the rover and drive after the nindroids. I feel the parasites chase after us and smile as things are going as planned. We meet up with the nindroids and we avoid the lasers. "Sensei meant instead of focusing on how wrong things are, focus on what's right. We have to think positive. Those parasites aren't just a menace, they're a weapon." Lloyd explains. "And they're about to change the circumstances for the nindroids." I add. (You thought those words from the previous paragraph were just for thought? THINK AGAIN! 😝) Lloyd speeds up as we meet with the other vehicle. "Attack!" The parasites fly pass us and swarm the nindroids. It worked as they started to drift and one completely flipped over and another drove off the cliff. A gap was coming up and the one with the gold made it over with a bunch of nindroids falling off it.

The guys scream but I smirk as I summon a purple crystal bridge for us to drive over. "Oh. He-He." I hear Jay laugh sheepishly. The guys cheer as we continue pursuit. "Now let's go get that launch key!" Kai states. The glass shield was lifted up, "Ninja-Go!" The guys exclaim as they do Spinjitzu and land on the vehicle in front of us. I remain with Lloyd as he continues to drive and kicks away a nindroid that was sent back at us. Jay and Cole jump back on our rover as the one in front of us veers off road and falls. Kai joins up as another rover explodes upon impact with a boulder. The rover in front of us now hit a bump and Zane with another nindroid fought in midair. He stomps it down and the rover veers away and I gasp as Zane is now holding on to the netting of containing gold.

He lets go and I use my powers to form a whip. I grunt as I pull him up and he lands on the top of the vehicle. "This one's mine." I state. ((Y/N): 😈) I do Spinjitzu and land on top of the vehicle. I move to be beside Cryptor. "Here's a little something for you," I punch him in the face. Hard. "and a little something for me." I snatch the key. "Bye, bye." I wave. "Ninja-Go!" I do Spinjitzu and join with the others. "I got it. Let's get out of here!" I state. Cryptor wiped out and we all laugh as we pass him.

We laugh and cheer. "We're home free!" Jay cheers. But I gasp at the multiple, hungry, presences. "Stop!" We do and the rocket... is completely swarmed by the parasites. "The rocket. It's... destroyed." Lloyd says. "Then how are gonna get home?" Jay asks. "There'a no way back." Cole says, sounding defeated. "You're not the only ones who can adapt!" We look back and see Cryptor with some nindroids and the gold. They flew away with the gold. "So long, Ninja!" "No."

We all got off the rover and I lost grip on the key as I let it drop. No... No. No. No. NO! It won't end like this. There has to be a way! I refuse to lose hope. I clench my hands as I look up and see the planet. Our home. We will get home. I swear it.
