(You all ready?)

I am sitting down as I try to think of a way for us to get back. I put up a shield for us to be safe from the bugs along with some of the rocket. But honestly, I'm at a lost. With the rocket wrecked, we don't have any other means to get back home. And I bet the Overlord is already preparing the gold to become the Golden Master right now. "These bugs just keep coming. We are going no where." Kai says. I look up and watch him pace around. "Nya, there's now way we're getting off this planet. Any last words, my darling?" I groan at Jay's puppy love for Nya. Okay, it was cute at first, but now it's become gross. "How about 'Focus on not getting done in by metal-eating bugs?'" Cole sasses him. (The sass is strong with this one.)

"Will you two knock it off! Now just don't give up." Nya says through the comas. "My dad was right, I should've never given up my golden power. We could have all been home." Okay, that's it! "ENOUGH!" I shout, standing up. (Oop, she mad.) It was quiet and I look at the guys. "Lloyd, you made a decision. And there's no going back from that. Plus, if you hadn't done it, the Overlord would have still been after you." I say to Lloyd then address the rest of the team, "We could not have know about the comet that had the Golden Weapons on it beforehand. We got on a rocket to try stop them from getting it back to the Overlord. And yeah, we failed that." "This isn't making us-" "I'm NOT done yet!" I say to Kai.

I give him a warning glare and he holds up his hands in surrender. (Wise choice, Kai.) I clear my throat  then continue. "But when has failure stopped us before?" I ask them. "Remember how when Wu went to the Underworld? We befriended the dragons and got him and the Golden Weapons back. And what about the Great Devourer? We fought back and with Garmadon's help, we won. And the Overlord. He thinks he's won but we kicked his butt twice. And they say third's time the charm, right?" I look at them with a challenging look, daring them me I'm wrong. I close my eyes as I clench my hands tightly. I inhale deeply, "Believe me, I am NEAR my limit with how things are right now, but I am NOT giving up." I state, opening my eyes and looking at them. "So, I don't want to hear anymore about how this is the end, GOT IT?" I tell them. (Got it? 🤨)

It was quiet for a moment until a sigh deeply and fall on my back. I still don't have a plan on how to get back. "Well, still, it doesn't change the fact that the Overlord has all he needs to become the Golden Master." I sit up as Lloyd said that. "I'm still to blame." He says. I frown as I feel his guilt. "Don't say that. I was wrong. You must trust your friends. Trust yourself." Garmadon's voice was heard as he speaks through the coms. "(Y/N) is right, as well. The first rule of the Way of the Ninja is to never give up. Don't lose hope now." He says. "Search for the power within, and then realize the greatness within each other." Wu says. "He's right, we can get off this planet." Lloyd says. I stand up after he said that. "What about your green power, Lloyd?" Kai asks. "It's too far. He'd never be able to keep his focus that long. Same can be said for (Y/N). It's too risky." Zane counters.

I hate that he's right. I hear Cole sigh and look over at him. "No one happens to have a build-your-own-rocket-kit handy, do they?" He asks sarcastically. Lloyd laughs and I look over at him. "That's it!" He says. "You have a build-your own-rocket-kit? Ow!" I gave Jay an elbow to the ribs as he was right behind me. "No, but we can make one." Lloyd says then runs over to the part of the rocket that was in the shield. "Arcturus may not fly, but she'll give us all the metal we need. And Zane knows the solar system better than anyone." He says. "And Kai's fire could weld the missing parts." Zane says. "Cole's manpower could do all the heavy lifting." Kai adds. "Jay has enough electricity and need knowledge to make a halfway believable spacecraft." Cole says. "Ha, ha. Hey! Hey. This could actually work." Jay says, at first offended but quickly learned it was a compliment. "And (Y/N)'s shield can protect us when we enter the atmosphere." He says as he gives me a pat on the shoulder.

I feel with my powers the renew spirits as we have a plan. "Then what are we waiting for? Let us get to building a half decent rocket!" I state. I make the shield disappear as we get to work.

Third Person P.O.V.

The team immediately get to work as they repurpose some of the rocket. Cole pried off some metal along with (Y/N) for she is quite strong herself. Kai welds together some metal, but pauses to blast some fire at the bugs. The team make quick work as they use some tech that still intact and put the pieces together. Once done they all fit into the small rocket. A little tight with six people in it but they deal with it. The door closes as they ready for take off. "Boosters?" "Check." "Electronics?" "Check." "Navigation?" "Check." Lloyd lists off while Kai, Jay and Zane affirm. "How are we holding together?" Lloyd asks. "Bubblegum and a wish." Cole answers. "And that wish is about to come true." (Y/N) states. "Let's go home, guys." Lloyd declares. Zane attaches a cable to his power source and the rocket launches.

"They have lift off!" Nya exclaims. She and the others cheering as the Ninja are coming home. However, things are not looking great within Ninjago City.

The people in Ninjago City were going along their day. However, the ground start to quake as something approaches them. A statue has pieces chip away from it from the force. "What is it now? Hasn't Ninjago suffered enough already?" A woman says, holding her daughter close. A police officer in the area sees the statue start to fall. "Move away from the statue!" He shouts rushing over and pulling the parent and child away right as the statue falls onto the ground. Large golden spider-like legs stomp on the ground and they belong to none other than the Overlord. Now become the Golden Master. "I was trapped in Lord Garmadon, then I was trapped in the Digiverse. Now I am free! Bow to your Golden Master!" The Overlord stands a great size, he wears a black helmet on his head as he raises his arms which are attach to a dark purple smoke that made up his torso and a mech that has three spider legs with the Golden Armor shining brightly. The police officer looks at him in fear but stays strong. "Come on!" He says to the mother and child as he leads them to safety. "This is Officer Sam, the Overlord has return. Immediate evacuation! I call for an immediate evacuation!" He says into a radio.

The Ninja enter the atmosphere of the planet. Zane disconnected the cable from his power source as (Y/N) summons a shield to protect them. The rocket shook from entering the atmosphere as the team held on. "Hold on, we're almost there!" Come says. "I can hold the shield. It should be a somewhat smooth-AAAAH!!!" (Y/N) suddenly screams. The shield drops as she holds her head. Her eyes shut as she feels an overwhelming darkness and the fear of many people. "(Y/N)!" The guys shout in worry. Cole holds her as she writhes in pain. "(Y/N), what's wrong?" He asks her worriedly. (Y/N) hears the people's screams and the power the Overlord wields with the Golden Armor.

She takes shaky breaths as she feels Cole hold her close. She finally calms down as she powers no longer let her feel the chaos. "It's too much! The fear... the evil... the Overlord has become... the Golden Master." She says, taking deep breaths. The guys share a look as but then yell as the rocket starts to shake harder. Zane connects the cable back as the ship stabilizes, but only a little. "My power source has reached critical mass. It appears my unlimited energy is in fact limited." Zane informs as loud beeping is sound. "Critical mass? Like, it's gonna blow up?" Jay asks, sounding troubled.don't worry about me, I must use my power to hold our vessel together." Zane brushes off their worry, willing to do what must be done.

"No way, Zane. Entering the atmosphere means we have air." Lloyd says. "No, it means we're gonna burn up!" Jay corrects loudly. "Listen! With just enough air, we can now put up our elemental shields." Lloyd explains. "But you have never put up shields before!" (Y/N) corrects, worried about their safety. "We can do this, (Y/N)! Calm and focused." He tells her. She closes eyes as she inhales deeply then exhales. "All right. Let's do it!" She states. "Let's try, guys!" Lloyd declares. The rocket falls apart, but the Ninja are all protected within elemental shields. They resemble balls as the glow with their respective colors.

Meanwhile, Scales watches on a cliff with his son as vehicles drive away from the city. "We tried to warn them, Junior. Thisss time it is their fight to losse." Scales says as he lays a hand on his son's shoulder. "But just because we didn't get along in the past, doesn't mean we can't try to make things better." Junior says. Scales was surprised at his son's words. He remembers what (Y/N) told him back when the Ninja had visited them. She had also saved his son. He looks back at the city as he sees smoke from it.

The people still within the city are being helped by the police and other authorities to get them to safety. The Postman looks up and smiles as he sees bright colorful balls with the colors of the Ninja in the sky. "Oh! It's the Ninja!" He cries out, pointing at them. The crowd cheers as they fly past them, relieved to have them back.

"They've returned? But how?!?" Pythor exclaims in disbelief. "If the Ninja are what gave them hope, then we'll destroy them. Prepare for battle!" The Overlord orders. He then shoots a beam of gold that attaches two buildings and collides them together to create a blockade. The people still in the buildings panic as they run to escape.

The Ninja still in their elemental shields near the ground. They no longer wore the spacesuits as their Gis are all they wear now. "I hate to bring this up now, but parachutes would've come in handy." Cole says as he starts to worry about the landing. "Friends and family make a good substitute." Kai states. "With catching us or breaking our fall?" (Y/N) jokes.

"Coordinating catch. Be on the lookout." Pixal says through the coms as she rides on a motorcycle. "Kai, go for 56 degrees north, 12 east." Pixal informs as Kai's jet flies to him. Kai makes it as he sits in the seat pilots it manually. "Zane, you're next." Pixal says. "Don't worry, I've got you." Zane states as he directs himself and makes it into his hover-copter. "Ninja-Go!" Cole and Jay shout as they enter their vehicles. (Y/N) got on hers and revs it up as she lands on the ground and drives next to Jay. Lloyd summons his motorcycle right as he was about to meet the ground. "Welcome home, Ninja." Wu says, relieved. He drove a four-wheeled vehicle with Garmadon sitting behind in an elevated seat. The Ninja, Pixal and Nya, in her Samurai X mech, meet with the brothers as they all stand together. "Brother, I can't remember the last time we fought together on the same team." Garmadon says to Wu, a soft smile on his face.

"I have the city in my sights." Zane informs. "City? That's not a city, that's an impenetrable fortress!" Jay corrects as the building's of Ninjago City now pressed together to form a barricade. An ominous red glowing from within. "Behind that wall, the Golden Master has the power of the First Spinjitzu Master." Garmadon informs. (Y/N) keeps a composed expression for she tries to ignore the power the Overlord wields. "Ninja, if you get this message, I've managed to escape and have found refuge within the Temple of Fortitude here in the city." Borg's voice is heard as he appears on the screams of some of the team's vehicles. "Temple of Fortitude? That was left over from the Stone Wars. The Overlord uses it as a stronghold against the power of the First Spinjitzu Master." Wu informs. "It has a sacred seal of protection the that can resist the Golden Power. Very clever." Garmadon adds.

"If you can make it here alive, I think I have a device that could defeat him." Borg states. "Then we have to get to that temple. Everyone stay together!" Lloyd says as he drives off towards the city with the others following. "(Y/N). You, Nya, Zane and Kai take the high road. We'll make our own road." Lloyd orders. (Y/N) switches her motorcycle into hover mode and flies off with Kai, Nya and Zane. Lloyd drives up some elevated earth as he enters a broken window. "I don't have time for finesse." Cole says as he smashes through a wall, scaring a man in his car but he was fine. Jay, Wu, Garmadon and Pixal follow after him. (Anyone else up for breaking though walls?)

As (Y/N) lead Kai, Nya and Zane the buildings started to rise. "Is that wall getting higher?" Nya asks, surprised by the moving buildings. The four avoid the rocks falling down. "It's just like the Digiverse. His turf, his rules." Zane says. "It was our turf first. And we're taking it back." (Y/N) states as she Nya and Zane made it over the wall. However, some rubble follows Kai and he tries to get rid of them.

Many people scream as they run to get safety with some officers helping them. The Overlord looks around as Kai flies pass him, having loss the debris following him. The Overlord fires a beam of gold but misses. Officer Sam takes advantage of the distraction and leads people into an alley. Thankful that the Ninja are here. "The temple's up ahead." Wu says as he speeds up.

Two nindorids walk over and toss away an old car door that an elderly woman was using to hide. She shakes as she braces herself as they reach out to grab her. Nya appears above them and grabs the nindroids as she flies by. Another officer appears and helps the woman to safety. Nya drops the nindroids as she flies on. "Two down and moving onwards to the-Gah!" Nya grunts as she is hit by an old car and crashes into a pile of junk. She is knocked unconscious as she lays limp. "Nya's down! I repeat, Nya's down!" Kai exclaims worriedly as reports through the coms. "I'm going back for her." Cole says. "No, I'll go back." Jay argues. "Go back, and our probability to make it to the temple exponentially diminishes." Zane states. "It's not about numbers, it's about family!" (Y/N) states, not willing to lose anyone to that monster's forces. "Everyone else head to the temple, we'll go pick up Nya." Lloyd orders, he drives off as Pixal, Wu and Garmadon head to the temple.

"I've got her. She's on the corner of Bradley Boulevard-Aah!" Kai screams along with the rest of the Ninja as they flung out of their vehicles and roll across the ground. "And somewhere." Kai groans, finishing his sentence. The Overlord lands between them and their vehicles. "The famous Ninja have time for a meet-and-greet. Let's dance!" He says. (Y/N) stands up as she gives him a look that can kill. "And you will end up BEAT!" She shouts. The Overlord laughs as he does Spinjitzu. "Change of plans! RUUUUN!" Lloyd shouts as he and the team run away from the golden tornado. Anything that got caught up in it disappears. The Ninja avoid objects heading their way as Cole jump flips over a car. "Woo-Hoo!" They team continue to run as they try to not get sucked into the tornado.

Nya has exited her mech as she looks around. "This is a complete mess." She says, coughing a little. She hears rumbling and looks to see Cryptor in a large mech on wheels with saws. "Now let's see if the little girl can fight without her big suit." He says with a mocking tone.

The Ninja jump over a tipped bus as they continue running. They jump and grab onto a pair of cables as they monkey-bar them to avoid more debris on the street. (Y/N) looks back as her visions changes for a brief moment to see the overwhelming power of the Golden Master. She blinks and look ahead. "Way too much power." She thinks as she had nearly been blinded by the gold power.

Wu and Garmadon stood a top the steps of the Temple of Fortitude as they see the golden tornado from a distance. They share a look as the ground starts to shake as the Overlord approaches. The Ninja land on the grassy ground as they sprint towards the temple. The brothers start to close the gates slowly. "Get ready!" (Y/N) shouts. "Ready for what?" Kai asks. (Y/N) does not respond as she stops and plants her feet on the ground and thrusts her fists forward as a purple rock appears underneath the team, launching them into the temple as they pass the gates. (That.) "Brother, now!" Wu shouts and he and Garmadon shut the gates. "Activate the shield." Garmadon orders. A blue shield forms around the temple, blocking the Overlord and he stops spinning as he looks at it. "No, no!" He shouts.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I lower my mask as I take deep breaths. Too close. That was... too close. My powers flare up, but it was not the Overlord. I close my eyes and see Nya as she fights against something. Man, I hate not sensing those doltheads. I open my eyes as the place shakes. I place a hand on Lloyd's shoulder to ground myself. He walks over to Borg and I follow him. "You said you had a weapon that could stop him?" Lloyd asks the inventor. "I do. It's my most protected secret." Dr. Borg says as a panel opens in the flow and lifts a high tech safe." He says, taking out a screwdriver and uses it to unlock the safe. "What is it?" "It is well protected." I hear Jay and Zane say. "Is it an ancient curse?" "I say, fire power." "I hope it rocks." The safe opens and I look in it to find... "Is it dangerous? Is it alive? Does it come with a manual? It's a-a- A pill?!?" What?

"Ah, not just any pill, a nano pill. For all of time, scientists have been searching for the holy grail of inventions. A diet pill that actually works!" Dr. Borg explains. I feel my eye twitch. I inhale deeply and close my eyes as I hold a hand to my face, "You mean to tell me that the only thing we have that could POSSIBLY defeat the Overlord, who wields the powers of the First Spinjitzu Master, is a PILL?" I feel myself ready to explode. But I then feel a hand on my shoulder, feeling that it is Lloyd, and that grounded me as I sigh, removing my hand from my face as I open my eyes. "But we are pretty much desperate so let's give it a shot." I say calmly. As calmly as I can with the place shaking slightly. I feel the hand pat my shoulder before the owner of it removes it from me.

"Wait until you are old, you'll see why it's so important. Tell me, Borg, does it work?" Garmadon asks, shaking Borg slightly as I feel his distress. "No, but the nanotechnology inside has an adverse effect. It not only shrinks your waistline, but miniaturizes you as well." Borg explains. "You made a shrinking pill?" Zane asks. "Let me get this straight. You want us to get close to this guy, who has armor with the mere touch, would make us toast, and you want us to give him a pill?" Kai asks incredulously. "Precisely!" Yeah, it's easier said than done, Borg. I give the doctor a raised brow, he's lucky he's already in a chair. (Girl is going through stuff.)

"Brother, do you remember when both of us were on the same team?" Garmadon asks Wu. "Ah, hey, yeah, old timers, mind paying attention? We're trying to save the WORLD HERE!" Jay shouts. "You're right, Brother, on the playground when we were kids. Templegate Tigers." Wu says. I realize that they had a plan as they talk about how they never lost with how Garmadon threw and Wu swung. "Get us close, Ninja, and we'll give the Golden Master his medicine." Wu states. The guys and I share looks as we nod.

Nya's P.O.V.

Okay. This is getting ridiculous! I grunt as I'm thrown into a vending machine. "Augh." I look to see Cryptor above me and holds me upside-down. "What is that perfume I smell? Fear?" This guy... "Actually it's called Damsel in Distress. But I don't think it suits me." I mock. "You think you can mock me?" He says back. But I noticed Mindroid walking by and get an idea. "Of course, doesn't everyone? I mean, even Mindroid knows you're short of a hard drive." I bite back. "Mindroid? That little piece of scrap isn't even fit enough to tighten my bolts. I've met toasters more intelligent than him." Cryptor insults. And as he was tapped on the shoulder, he looks back and got a mean punch to the gut by Mindroid. (Hehe. 😈) I laugh as Cryptor lets me go and I run away. My mech may be down, but I know of something else that can help my friends.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

If we are gonna get close enough to the Overlord, we need protection from the golden power he wields. So we grabbed some old armor resembling the ones worn by the Stone Army. "Are we sure this is gonna protect us?"" Kai asks. "If the Overlord's Stone Warriors used this against the First Spinjitzu Master, I see no reason why we can't use it against those exact same powers." Garmadon states. "And the Overlord thought he had the advantage." I remark with a smirk. My powers flare up and I look over at Zane and Pixal. I feel Zane's worry for her but also Pixal's reassurance. I walk over to Zane as I lay a hand on his shoulder, making him look at me. "She'll be safe. We need you for this, Z." I tell him with a smile. He looks back at Pixal and she gives him a smile.

"Zane. (Y/N). We have to go." Garmadon says. I give Zane a pat on the shoulder and we walk over to the team and two masters. We all put on the armor and it merged with our Gis, alternating them a little as they now had silver armor. "Hey! The deal! It's broken!" We all rush over when Lloyd shouted and look out a window to see the shield collapse. Shoot. However, I felt a presence and smile as Nya makes her appearance in a nindroid tank. Heh. Way to go, Nya. She dealt with the nindroids by blasting them. "Better late than never! Go get 'em, Ninja!" You got it, Nya. "Ninja-Go!" The guys and I exclaim, we perform Spinjitzu as we exit the temple and knock away some nindroids.

We make our way to the Overlord as we run across the roofs. We stop as we came upon a web of golden power. I feel for a brief moment of nostalgia between Wu and Garmadon. I look back at them. "We can reminisce later. Right now-" I halt myself as a fist made of roof tiles appears next to us. We brace ourselves, me trusting the armor, and the fist disappears as the tiles lay around us. We are unharmed. "Phew." I sigh, I would never live it down if the armor did not work. "I don't believe it. The armor's working!" Cole says. "Keep going! We have to take the heat off the senseis!" Jay says and we all cross the web no problem thanks to the armor protecting us. I smirk as I jump forward and cut some of the webbing.

Heh. The Overlord is so going down. I hear people cheer below but focus ahead. We all land on a roof but a barricade of cars form to stop us. But nope. We ram through it. We stop and right there at the center of the web in front of Borg Tower was the Golden Master himself. I glare him down, ready to lay on some hurt.

However, an explosion happens and we all look over to see debris fall and almost hit people. "Shoot!" I shout. "We have to save the people!" Lloyd exclaims. "We have to get the senseis closer!" Kai argues. Dang, our compassion! I drag my hands down my face as I growl in frustration, but jolt as I feel my powers flare up as I feel more presences. "Wait! Look!" I shout pointing down right as the Serpentine appear from a manhole and get the people to safety. "The snakes are on our side? Great. Now I have seen it all!" Jay says. I look over at him, "There are two sayings, Jay. The first being 'The past is the past.' And the second being 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend.'" I tell him. "What?" He questions. "She means is that while we cannot change the past does not mean we can better or future and that having a common enemy can help unite us." Zane clears. I give him smile as I look at him. "Correct." I state.

"We'll never get close enough." Kai says. All of us focusing back on the Overlord. "We won't need to. Ready to thread the needle, Brother?" Garmadon says. "Let show them what old timers can do." Wu states. Garmadon jumps onto a web-string bounced on it, Wu jumps next and Garmadon gave him a lift to rise higher as he threw the pull up. Wu did a spin midair as he hits the pill, it heading in a straight line at the Overlord. I hold my breath and it feels like time slowed down as the pill gets closer to the Overlord. Almost... NO! Pythor took it instead. But it turns out it was a shrinking pill. Pythor shrunk down to being the size of a bottle. He slithers off as Falcon chases after him.

"That was it?" Uh oh. "That was all you've GOT?" The Overlord wrapped golden webbing around the guys and I tried to avoid it, but got trapped too. "Not again!" I try to break free but it was too tight. "The armor, why isn't it working?" I hear Cole shout. "Because your time is OVER!" No. It can't be. I try to summon my powers, but I can't. I'm scared. I don't know what to do.

Third Person P.O.V. (Get ready for tears.)

The Ninja, Wu and Garmadon struggle to break free from the golden grasp of the Overlord's golden power. However, Zane was able to avoid being grabbed as he backflips and lands on his feet. He takes off his mask as he has an expression of determination. "Support me, friends. For one last time." He says. He runs then jumps off the roof and some of the team turn over to be upside-down to use their legs as platforms for Zane to make his way to the Overlord. He flies through the air as he meets with the Golden Master and grabs onto parts of the Golden Armor, looking up at the Overlord. "Let... my... friends... GO!" He demands, his whole body glowing an icy blue. "Go where, Doomed Ninja?" The Overlord mocks.

Zane shakes from the overwhelming power of the Golden Armor, but keeps his grip firm as he refuses to let go. The Overlord stares him down as the faceplate Pixal had give him falls off, half of his face now revealing his inner workings. "The Golden Weapons are too powerful for you to behold. Your survival chance is low!" The Overlord tells him. But Zane is undeterred. "This isn't about numbers. It's about family." Zane states. The golden power reacts to the commotion between the two as it goes to them. The webbing loses its power as it becomes a neon green and limp as the Ninja and two senseis drop onto the ground.

Zane's heart start to glow brightly, indicating that he is reaching his limit. (Y/N)'s vision changes as she sees his aura brighten but start to become unstable. Her eyes widen as she freezes, realizing what Zane is doing. "He's not letting go!" Lloyd says as he and the others watch from the ground. "His heart! It's reaching critical mass!" Jay exclaims. "If his heart overloads, he'll blow! He'll never survive." Cole says worriedly. "Let go of him, Zane! What is he doing?!" Kai shouts. "He's protecting us." Wu answers. "He's sacrificing himself." (Y/N) whispers.

"I... am... a Nindroid. And ninja never quit. Go Ninja. GO!" Zane states as he lets go to the Overlord and shoots a beam of his powers at the Golden Master. "What are you doing? Let me go, you fool!" The Overlord demands as he starts to be engulfed in ice. Zane closes his eyes as he tries to ignore the swell of power as he continues to freeze the Overlord.

"No, Zane! Noooo!" Jay shouts as he runs to him. But is stoped by Wu. "We have to get out of here now." Wu states. The guys and Wu step back as Garmadon opens a manhole covering. But (Y/N) remained where she is. Her vision returning to normal as she clenches her hands into fists. "I... I can help!" She starts running to Zane. "No! It is too dangerous." Wu stops her as he grabs her arm. "NO! I can save him! I can!" She shouts. The guys are forced into down and they avoid a large piece of ice as they do. Wu struggles to pull (Y/N) back. "I can't let him die!" She yells. She then feels arms wrap tightly around her and looks back to see it is Cole. His eyes held remorse but he steps back to the hole. "No. No! NO!" She shouts.

The Overlord grunts as he tries to get Zane to stop, but the Original Nindroid does not. (Y/N) tries one last time to break out of Cole's arms, but he holds her tight as Kai and Jay place the manhole on top of them. "ZANE!" (Y/N) screams, her eyes shut tight in anguish. From the roof of another building, Nya, Dr. Borg and Pixal watch with disbelief as Zane sacrifices himself. "No." Pixal breathes out.

As Zane continues to freeze the Overlord, he closes his eyes as he reminisces. "Ninja-Go!" He and the team fighting together. "Zane!" Meeting his father again. "There's something special about you, Zane." His talk with Wu when they had found the Bounty. He starts to smile. "I know who I am." When he unlocked his true potential. When he remembered his life before. "After all, you feel." His friends. "You were built to protect those who cannot protect themselves." His purpose. His heart goes out as well as him and the Overlord. (❄️)

The power goes out as the city is encased in ice. Cryptor and Mindroid are frozen then shattered. The helmet the Overlord wore lands on the ground. Its owner is nowhere to be found. The manhole is removed and slides on the icy surface as the Ninja, Wu and Garmadon climb out. Pixal, Borg and Nya meet up with them at the front of Borg Tower. Cole had let go of (Y/N) as he finds something and picks it up. It being the part of Zane's faceplate he had lost. Nya and Pixal see it and the two gasps softly. Nya starts to sob and Kai walks over to her as he takes her in his arms while she cries. Jay, who was wanting to comfort her, stops and lets the siblings mourn together as he too mourns for the lost of his friend. Pixal remains silent but holds her hands to her face as she looks away while she cries.

(Y/N) looks around and uses her powers to try and find Zane. But as she turns her head to look for any sign of and feel him with her powers... Nothing. Zane... is gone. She feels a wetness on her face and raises her hand up to wipe it away. She feels more as she realizes that she is crying. Crying. She only did that once before and it was unconsciously. This time... she is conscious and hurting. She tries to stop but cannot. Zane's gone. She feels a hand on her shoulder and slowly turns her head to look at Cole. She sees the Zane's faceplate and the truth sets in. Zane is... gone. She starts to sob and Cole brings into an embrace. (Y/N) is quiet as she hides her face in his shoulder, the tears continuing to fall as she truly experiences loss for the first time. "I used to think technology would be the answer to all our problems..." Dr. Borg speaks.

"But then I saw technology invent new problems. Devasting problems." The ice had melted as people gather at an area within the park of Ninjago City. Where a large portrait of Zane stood with a large object next to it that had a sheet over it. People had come to pay their respects to the fallen hero. Borg continues his speech, "And then a Nindroid named Zane saved us all. He was the perfect balance between us and technology. He taught us that life should be a balance. Technology can improve lives, but so can people. And if we focus on one at the expense of the other, that's when the balance is off. Our city will find its way again, but this time with Zane as our compass. With that I give to you... the Titanium Ninja." Borg finishes as he removes the sheet to reveal a statue in honor of Zane.

The Falcon squawks as he flies over and lands on one of the statue's shoulders. The Ninja and rest of the team were sitting in the front as they look at the mechanical bird, but (Y/N) looks at the ground. Her face is stained with the tears she had cried as she feels a loss in her heart. "So, what happens after this?" Nya breaks the silent. "I don't know." Cole answers. "And I don't care. Today's about Zane." Jay states. "And now Kai would like to speak for those who knew him best." Dr. Borg. Kai walks up and faces the crowd. He was quiet for a moment until he spoke, "Everyone wondered what powered Zane. I don't know if we'll ever know, but I'd like to think it was siblinghood." Jay, Cole and Lloyd look up as he says that. "Because he powered me." Wu looks up at Kai then bow his head again. "And he'll still power me as his memory lives on." Darreth quietly cries as he mourns Zane. "Ninja never quit, and Ninja will never be forgotten." (Y/N) lifts her head up as Kai states that. The Red Ninja closes his eyes for a moment then opens them as looks up. "Wherever you are, Zane, you'll always be one of us." He says.

The crowd mummers quietly as it starts to snow. (🌨️) The all smile as they feel that it is a sign from Zane. Wu, Garmadon, Nya and the rest of the Ninja stand up to walk over to Kai. They all wrap their arms around one another as they smile together, looking up at the statue of the Titanium Ninja. Except for (Y/N), as she has a frown.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I could have done something. And now... he's gone. I feel Cole wrap an arm around my shoulders and Lloyd hold my hand. I close my eyes as I look down and feel another tear fall down my face. Zane... *Bump-Bump* My eyes snap open. I look up at the statue. It can't be... I couldn't feel him before. "Zane? Is that you?" Pixal? "I'm... just... Zane." It can't be... he's gone. Isn't he?
