(Alright, people! Time to face some fear!)

Okay, I had to check on the others and already I can tell that Ronin is being an annoyance to Misako, Wu and Nya. But I see that the cyan color around Nya became a little bigger for a moment. It also has something else... Adaptable, formidable, fluid... Wait. NOPE! Think about it later. (Got more important things to do at the moment.)

It is now daytime, the guys and I join a tour group as we arrive to Yang's Haunted Temple. I had its windows boarded up with it also covered in dirt. "Welcome to Yang's Haunted Temple, the historical land make and former home of Sensei Yang, the notorious sensei without a pupil," The tour guide woman says as I look at the decrepit statue of said sensei, "infamous for creating the lost martial art of Airjitzu. Unfortunately, we can't take our tour groups inside, for rumors say anyone trapped inside its walls at sunrise, will be turned into a ghost permanently." The lady informs, and the group oohs from it. "But if you listen closely, maybe we'll be able to hear the ghost of Sensei Yang himself, looking for his lost pupils." She says. (Why do I have a feeling he's not?) I look at the temple and my powers flare up as I feel a lot of disturbed energies in it.

"I HOPE ITS NOT A RUMOR, FOR ITS OUR ONLY HOPE!" I flinch and cover my left ear. (Ow! 😣) "Ah, sorry about my loud friend, he's a little hard of hearing." Cole apologizes. Yeah, Zane may not speak backwards anymore, but now his decibel level is stuck at high. As in he can only talk in all CAPS. "Known for his un-Ahem-usual teaching methods." The lady continues as she leads the group while the guys and I stay behind. "I thought you said you fixed him?" Kai asks Jay. "At least he's no longer talking backwards." Jay retaliates. I rub my ear a little before lowering my hand. "Yeah, but now we are at risk of going deaf every time he speaks." I snip. "I guess my tinkering got his volume level stuck. Heh, heh." He laughs nervously.

"AT LEAST YOU CAN UNDERSTAND ME NOW!" I flinch again from Zane's shouting. "Yes, we can." I agree with him. "Well, from now on, only speak when you have something really important to say." Cole tells him. "Who put you in charge?" Kai asks him. "I did. After you guys mucked it up, it's my turn to be in charge. And, like me, I like my plans simple. We sneak in, learn Airjitzu from the Ghost of Sensei Yang, then get out before sun up." Cole states. (Easier said then done, Cole. 😒) I look back a the temple and feel uneasy from the energy emitting from it. "Since Morro already knows Airjitzu, we just have to hope he hasn't figured out the next clue." Kai says. I look at him and nod my head, "We only have one shot. Let's make it count." I state.

"Well, the sun is setting, which means we should head back to the bus. Wouldn't want anyone to turn into a ghost." The lady says then laughs and everyone else joins in. I look back at the temple. "Once night hits, we make our move." I hear Cole say. I narrow my eyes. Soon we will know Airjitzu and get closer to saving Lloyd.

Third Person P.O.V.

The sun sets and night begins. The Ninja appear from behind Yang's statue then make their way to the temple. Cole and Jay pull at the boards on a window. (Y/N) and Zane share a look then the nindroid grabs a hand to one the doors and opens it. Kai enters with Zane following after him. "Care to join?" (Y/N) says to Jay and Cole. "Oh. Ha, ha." Jays laughs embarrassed then enters the temple. Cole walks over and (Y/N) holds her hands out for him to walk. He smiles under his hood then walks and (Y/N) follows him. She stops them and grabs the door to close it, but stops as she hesitates for a moment. She shakes her head, "No turning back." She closes the door and it locks upon fully closing. She lets go of the handle then joins with the guys. (And so it begins~)

Elsewhere in a cave, Morro stands by a green fire as he holds the staff in his hands. "The second symbol." He says, dropping the staff and rolls it across white powder. The symbols imprint in it and Morro looks closely at the second symbol. A sword with its tip surrounded by some wavy lines. "Can any of you decipher it? There was a reason why brought you three out." Morro says to Soul Archer and two other ghosts he summoned. "I can, but you'll need more than Airjitzu to get there." A female ghost wielding a double-edged bade says as she flies over to Morro.

"Are you suggesting, Bansha, that we'll need to possess a few more vessels?" Soul Archer asks Bansha. "Ha, ha. Me likes! Me likes to take! Take now." The skull-faced ghost laughs as he floats around. "Settle down, Ghoultar. Master would want us to be more patient." Morro tells the Ghoutar. "I think I know where to pick up a few more...toys." He then says. (What kind of toys? 🤨)

Back in Yang's temple, the guys pick the locks to a pair of doors then open them as they enter Sensie Yang's office. They take off their hoods as they look around. The doors close behind them and Cole stops as he looks back at that. "Oh." He sighs. (Y/N) feels his nervousness and walks over to him, laying a hand on his shoulder. He looks at her, "Don't let it get to you. We have each other." She tells him in a soothing manner. He inhales some air then exhales and nods his head. (Y/N) gives him a smile then walks off, not seeing Cole look at her with a warm smile.

He walks on but jumps and screams softly at seeing a spider appear in front of him. (AAH!! 😱) "Relax." Kai says as he waves off the spider and it goes up. "If this place is truly haunted, we just need to wait until he shows himself." Kai says, placing his hand on Cole's back as he walks him over to another area. "Ah-ah, he should've been here by now. You heard the tour guide, if we're not out by sun-up, we'll be ghosts." Cole says panicked. (Y/N) blows a strand of hair from her face as she hears Cole rant. "You didn't buy into that malarky, did ya?" Kai says wit a smirk, not believing in the haunting. "Hey, I don't want to be a ghost. Who wants to be a ghost? Why didn't anyone warn us this place would get so creepy after dark?" Cole rants on. (You're spiraling, Cole.)

(Y/N) brushes back her hair with her hands as she sighs heavily. Zane picks a book from a shelf then opens it to read what its pages hold. "Eh, remind me again why we agreed to put the guy afraid of ghosts in charge?" Jay asks. "LISTEN TO THIS!" Zane says as he stands beside Jay. "Argh! Allow me." Jay says, taking the book from Zane. He clears his throat then reads what is in the book. "Whoa. It says here though many believed Sensei Yang's unusually strict teachings drove his pupils away, others admit to never seeing any of them leave the temple grounds, suggesting a more sinister plot." He reads. "Ha, ha! How awesome is that?" Jay says. (😒)

(Y/N) places a hand on her hip and looks Jay with a raised brow. "You call people never leaving a temple and being heard from again awesome?" She rhetorically asks him. "Yeah. Not awesome. Not even a little." Cole agrees with her. "Don't believe everything you read." Kai says. Jay continues reading, "Yang was hard on his pupils for a reason, for in his words, 'As iron sharpens iron, sensei sharpens student.'" Kai hums in thought, "I wonder what he means by that?" He questions out loud.

The clock starts shaking and it moves from side to side with the door of it opening and closing with a man moans being heard. Cole gasps and steps back in fright while (Y/N) assumes a fighting stance. "It's him! He's in the clock!" Cole exclaims fearfully. The clock continues shaking as more moaning his heard. Jay steps back to join the others, "You're the leader. Check it out." He says, pushing Cole forward. Cole walks forward and grabs the knob of the door, but (Y/N) then feels nothing from the clock. "Wait, it's not-" "AAAAAAHHHHH!!!" Cole screams, but it is revealed to be the Falcon.

Zane holds his arm up for the Falcon to land on as he, Kai and Jay smile. Zane presses a button on him and it plays a recording of a man moaning. The three laugh, but Cole glares at them. "A prank? Really?" He says angrily. "Heh, heh, we were just trying to help you relax." Kai says. "Yeah, heh, you should have heard yourself scream!" Jay laughs. Zane plays the recording of Cole screaming, making Kai and Jay laugh. Zane laughs along after putting away the Falcon. "OW!" They then yelp in pain after they get whacked in the back of the head. "Daw, that really hurt-Oh." Jay halts as he looks at (Y/N) and she has an expression of absolute fury. (EEP-! 😨)

"You guys... are UNBELIEVABLE." She starts. "Nearly giving him a heart attack as we are standing in a haunted temple? We are LITERALLY fighting ghosts. You're lucky you only got a smack to the back of the head because I am already going through SO MUCH RIGHT NOW THAT I DON'T WANT TO DO SOMETHING I WILL REGRET. SO TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY!" She scolds them. (Yes, Ma'am. 😰) The three become quiet but then thudding is heard above them. "Ah. Another prank? Real funny. Didn't anyone reach you to quit while you're ahead? Cole says annoyed, walking to the doors. "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes." (Y/N) says to the three then joins Cole as he opens the door and allows her to exit the room first. He closes the door behind him as now it is only Jay, Kai and Zane in the room.

"Uh, was that you?" Kai asks Jay about the thumping heard earlier. "Not me." Jay answers, now scared. "ME EITHER!" Zane answers, hai voice cracking. "COLE, (Y/N), WAIT!" The shout then break into a sprint to catch up with the two.

Cole and (Y/N) walk down a hall then hear pounding close by. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. Very scary." Cole says mockingly, believing the others to still be pranking him. However, (Y/N)'s powers flare up as she feels a sinister power close by. She does not say anything as they walk on, but she does move closer to Cole. (Oooh~) They reach the end of the hall and see one of the doors rattle as the knob jiggles. "As if I believe in ghosts." Cole says. (Y/N) looks at him and places a hand on her hip, "You do realize we are fighting ghosts. Right?" She asks him rhetorically. Cole rolls his eyes, "You know what I mean." He replies. "Do I?" (Y/N) responds. Cole shakes his head, "Can we just focus, please?" He asks. (Y/N) rolls her eyes but say nothing. (These two.)

"I swear, We didn't do that." "Let's go back to the study." "IT WASN'T US!" Kai, Jay and Zane appear as they run to them. "Okay, I have to admit, this is pretty good. How'd you guys get the handle to move all by itself? Is Nya behind there?" Cole says, not believing them then moves to open the door. "Don't open that door!" Jay shouts. He and Kai scream as Cole opens the doors. But upon opening the doors, nothing happens. Kai, Zane and Jay join with (Y/N) and Cole as they look in the large empty room. "Well, that was anti-climatic." Kai comments, he and the rest of the team entering the room. "What? Expecting a real ghost to appear?" (Y/N) mocks.

On the other side of the room is an altar with candles lit with green flames and a wooden gate surrounding it with a picture of Sensei Yang hanging on the wall in the center of it with four golden swords hanging on the side of it. "Sensei Yang's dojo. This is where he must've trained his pupils." Kai stares as he and the team walk over to the altar. "Or got rid of them." Jay adds frightfully. "Knock it off, guys. If that wasn't you behind the rattling door, who was it?" Cole demands of them. "The Ghost of Sensei Yang." They answer. "As iron sharpens iron, sensei sharpens student." A voice speaks out of nowhere. "IT'S THE GHOST OF SENSEI YANG!" The guys shout in fright. "Uh guys, what does he mean by 'sharpen'?" Jay asks. And after he said that, the swords hanging on the wall start to move. (Those. 🗡️) "Lets not hang around to find out!" Cole shouts. The swords float and point at them. "Let's get out of here!" Kai shouts as he and the guys run out of the dojo.

However, (Y/N) stays where she is and turns her body to avoid the swords as they embed in the doors after the guys close it. (Girl didn't even flinch.) She looks around to find where Sensei Yang is. "If you think floating swords and jiggling knobs are going to get me, then you don't know how to get to me." She states. Sensei Yang chuckles at her bold declaration, "Sharp... but not sharp enough." He replies. She scoffs then feels the guys' fear and leaves the room as she runs off to catch up with them.

Sensei Yang laughs while the guys scream as bats appear and fly over them. (Y/N) soon catches up and puts a shield above them to keep the bats back. "Uh, does this mean he doesn't want to teach us Airjitzu?" Jay asks. "Forget Airjitzu, where's the window?" Kai asks. "This way!" Cole exclaims as they see a boarded up window. They run up to it and the guys try opening it, a bat moves around the shield and starts pestering (Y/N). But without looking, (Y/N) back fists it away. The guys had no luck with removing the boards. "Ah, we're caged in like animals!" Jay exclaims. Sensei Yang laughs once more and (Y/N) looks around once again with the shield disappearing as the bats vanishing as well. The guys looking up as they hear the ghost laugh. "Argh! Let's try the front door!" Cole says. "But that's downstairs, and in case you haven't paid any attention, there's flying weapons trying to slice and dice us!" Kai responds. "THERE'S A DUMBWAITER!" Zane shouts, pointing to his right. "Hey, watch who you're calling-" "No, he means a mini-elevator!" (Y/N) interrupts Jay and turns him around to see the dumbwaiter. "Oh, dumbwaiter. That can take us done." Jay says. "Then let's GO!" (Y/N) exclaims.

The team all squeeze into the dumbwaiter while Kai and Jay pull the rope for them to go down. Jay grunts from pulling the rope, "You said there'd be enough room for all five of us in here." He complains to Zane. "MY CALCULATIONS ARE ALWAYS CORRECT!" Zane states. (Okay! Ow. 😣) "Ow, my ear." Cole complains as he rubs his ear from Zane's shouting. "Well, technically speaking, we fit. It's just a tight fit." (Y/N) speaks, blowing her hair out of her face. (Very tight.) "Well, turn on a light or something, because I can't see a thing." Cole says to Zane. So Zane does jus that as he brightens his eyes, but everyone gasps as the Ghost of Sensei Yang appears in the center of them, "As iron sharpens iron..." (NOPE. 🫥) The team scream with Kai and Jay letting go of the rope, the dumbwaiter dropping down quickly.

"Out, Out, OUT!" (Y/N) shouts, first time getting jump-scared by Sensei Yang. The team get out of the dumbwaiter and sprint while more swords fly at them. They turn a corner and the swords stab the wall and stop at a pair of doors for which Zane and Cole try to open them. "As iron sharpens iron, sensei sharpens student!" Sensei Yang states as he flies at them. Jay gasps as he gets closer, (Y/N) steps forward but gasps as she feels something very off. "Wait!" She whips around but the doors open and the guys bolt out, only to halt and scream as they fall. Cole grabs the door and Zane grabs his feet while Kai grabs his and Jay hangs at the bottom while holding onto Kai's foot for dear life.

The temple is floating within a green vortex and the guys scream in terror. "What is it?! What's down there?!? Oh wait, don't tell me! I don't wanna know!" Jay shouts as he kicks his legs, terror coursing through his whole body. "WE APPEAR TO BE TRAPPED WITHIN SOME KIND OF INTER-DIMENSIONAL ETHEREAL REALM!" Zane speaks his observation. "I told you not to tell me, Zane! Knowing that just makes things worse!" Jay shouts. (Y/N) grabs the door and pulls it to her then Cole holds out his hand and (Y/N) grabs it. She then pulls him back in the temple along with the rest of the boys.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

Okay. After that terrifying moment, we head back into Yang's study. "Ah. All right, so there's no way out of the haunted temple, but at least all the commotion's died down." Jay says. "Yeah, we just gotta get through the night together. Show Yang we're not scared." Kai says. But then he looks at the portrait of Yang and I look at it too. He's watching us. The clock chimes and the guys scream while I freeze a little. "It's just a clock, we're not afraid of time, but we are afraid of not getting outta here in time. Oh, my gosh, why did we spend the night in a haunted temple?!" Cole says, then panics. I grab him by his shirt's collar then slap his face twice. "Calm down." I tell him. (Yes, ma'am. 😐) "EVERYONE, GET A HOLD OF YOURSELVES! EVEN IF MY VOLUME WASN'T STUCK, I'D STILL BE YELLING AT THIS DECIBEL!" Zane shouts.

I let go of Cole after he said that. "Zane's right. What are we doing? We need to toughen up. We're ninja! We already missed out on the Airjitzu the first time, we can't let this opportunity pass." Cole states. I sigh and nod my head, "We can't let Yang get to us." I state. "Uh, guys?" Kai says then walks over to a painting but... it's moving. Like a movie. "Are paintings supposed to move?" Kai asks. I walk over and looks at it. The ocean rages as a storm happens with the boat sailing along its waters. I blink when I hear knocking and water comes out of the painting. What the... I step back and even see some fish come out of it as well. "Why would you touch the scary picture, Jay?" "I didn't know it would do that, Cole!" The water is not stopping.

"Unh! It's locked!" I feel Kai's fear. Crap, he's afraid of water. "As iron sharpens iron, Sensei sharpens student." Yang says again. I roll my eyes, we get it! Stop repeating it. I look down at the water as it reaches my waist and still rises. "Water. I'm afraid of... water. We're all gonna drown!" Kai shouts. The water keeps rising and I keep myself afloat as I no longer feel my feet tough the ground. "It's all in your head, Kai. He's trying to scare us out so we don't get Airjitzu." Jay says. My eyes widen when he said that. I jump when Cole surfaces next to me. "I don't know, tastes pretty real to me." He says. "WHERE'S KAI?" Zane asks. I look at the doors. Crap.

I inhale a deep breath then dive down. I swim to where Kai is as he is still trying to open the doors. I place a hand on his shoulder and he looks at me, his face showing immense fear. I look at him with assurance and I feel him calm down then focuses back on the doors and turn the knob of the doors and it opens. We get sucked out of the study and I grab Kai as we surface and ride through the hallway. We slow to a stop and we all cough to get the water out of our lungs. "Well, that wasn't refreshing." Kai says. "First the haunting them the water, what's next?" Cole asks. "That's it. He is testing us. Don't you see, Cole's afraid of ghosts, and Kai's afraid of water." Jay explains. "As iron sharpens iron, sensei sharpens student. He's making us face our fears." Kai says. "Which means whatever he throws at us next, we have to face it together. And this time, no running away." Come states. "Or swimming away." Jay adds. "Fine, but times running out and if we don't figure out a way of staying in this together, none of us are gonna get out alive." Kai says.

We run off, "(Y/N)." But I stop. Lloyd... No. No! It's not him. "(Y/N)." It's not him! I move to follow the others. "Mmph!" I feel something wrap my mouth and pull me back. (Uh-oh.) "Mmm!" I feel more wrap around my arms and legs. I plant my feet down to stop and I try to break free. I take a step forward. "(Y/N)! Help me!" "Mm!" I slip and fall on my front, getting pulled back. I get dragged into a room and the doors shut. I break free of whatever wrapped me and stand up. l pant and look around to find myself in a room. "Ugh, singled me out, huh? What? Think I don't know your game?" I say to Yang. "(Y/N)." I look behind me and see Lloyd. I gasp, it's him... before he got possessed by Morro.

He smiles at me, I loosen my stance. "Lloyd..." I reach out to him. But then gets pulled into the darkness. "No!" I run but stop as he is nowhere in sight. "Go, (Y/N)." Zane? I look but gasp. It's Zane, but before he sacrificed himself to stop the Overlord. His body become bright... blue... "NO! Zane!" I run at him, but he explodes. "Agh!" I land on my back. I pant and quickly stand up. I look around then growl, "What do you want from me?!?" I demand Yang. "I hate water." Kai? I look to see him and he starts drowning in a puddle of water. I sprint at him, but he is completely submerged and the water disappears. "No, no, no!" I slide onto my knees and dig at the ground. (She's losing it.) "Help!" Jay? I look back and I see him looking around frantically. I sprint at him but he turns into statue and I screech to a halt but run... through him?

I stop and pant. I gather ash in my hand... "No..." This is NOT happening. It's not. "(Y/N)." I hear Cole and slowly turn back to see him. He steps towards me but then he starts to fade. "No... No, no! NO!" I jump and hold my arms out to him. But... I go through him. I look back to see him vanish completely. I land on the ground. "No... Please." I close my eyes and curl up. I take out my necklace hold it tightly in my hands. "I can't... lose anyone else. Please..." I cry. (She's terrified.)

Nya's P.O.V.

I need to help my friends. I'm more help as Samurai X, I don't care what Sensei says. Once night hit and the shop closed, Ronin and I got in his airship and head to my Samurai X cave. Good thing I had that sack of money on me. I sit in the passenger seat in Ronin's airship and look back to watch said man put the bag in a safe. "Pretend you didn't see that." He says as he sits in the driver's seat. "Should be at the Samurai X cave shortly. Make yourself comfortable." He says. Though, one thing comes to my mind, "For someone so desperate for money, you sure have a lot of it." I say out loud. "Let's just say I owe someone a large debt." He replies. I give him a look. (How large? 🤨)

It became quiet during the flight, and I wanted to know what that debt of his is. "Unless you like awkward pauses, do tell." I say to him. He sighs, "I made a few bets in my life, and if I don't pay off the Soul Archer, my soul's going to the Cursed Realm." He explains. "And you think cashing in on our farm will save your hide? You're a real gentleman." I tell him, then look away from and cross my arms. Wouldn't have gotten his soul crushed if he wasn't such a greedy crook. "Save it, sweetheart. Unlike you, I don't have a ninja support system. It's me and me alone, speaking of which..." I hear beeping and look at the screen to see a glowing dot on it. "Who else knows about your secret cave?" He asks. "No one. It's a secret." I tell him. "Well, it looks like we're not alone." He says, taking manual control and fly faster. (Crap.)

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I don't know how long I've on the ground. I just cried. "(Y/N)!" Cole? No. It's a trick. "(Y/N)!" "You're okay." "WHAT HAPPENED?" Wait? I look to see the guys... they're all here and Zane is titanium. "(Y/N)?" Cole holds out a hand. I sob and jump him, wrapping my arms around him. I don't go through him, I hear his heart beating. He's okay. He's here. (They all are.) "(Y/N), what happened?" I hear Kai ask. I pull away from Cole, my hair covering my face, "'What happened?' I LOST ALL OF YOU, THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED!!!!" I snap. "I saw all of you be taken away and I couldn't do anything to save anyone of you!" I hug myself and hang my head low, "I had gone most of my life without any connections to anyone and now that I have you all, Nya, Wu, Misako..." I choke a sob and shut my eyes tightly, feeling tears fall. "I can't lose anyone else. I lost my parents... I never got to know them but it don't hurt any less. I can't lose you guys too. I'm scared." I cry. (😢)

I pant, I haven't cried like this since I learned about what happened to my parents. I feel hands on me, lifting my head up and gently pull me into a hug. "You're not alone. We're getting out of this together." I hear Cole say. I feel someone join the hug, "You don't let fear get to you. Don't start now." I hear Jay say. I feel hands on me, "We'll get Lloyd back. We're not losing anyone anytime soon." I hear Kai say. I feel Zane pat my head and I close my eyes, sighing as I feel safe. (❤️💙💜🖤🤍)

I sniff as we all separate, I move back my hair and wipe my face. "I try so hard to remain strong." I confess. I feel my hand be taken and I look at Cole, he has a smile in his face as he looks at me. "We all have our moments." He says. He takes my other hand and helps me stand up. "From now on, we stick together. Not let anything scare us into giving up." He says. I nod my head, "Right." I agree. "Thank you." I say to all of them. We exit the room and Jay lay his hand on my shoulder to comfort me and Cole having his hand on my back. I safely tuck my necklace under my Gi Yang, we're not done. Not even close. (Nope. 😈)

Nya's P.O.V.

Ronin lands and we run out and making it to the entrance, I gasp. It's open. Someone is here. We enter it quietly then hide behind rocks and see Morro with ghosts. "Morro's here. He already knows Airjitzu, what does he want with my mechs?" I ask out loud. (New toys to play with?) They're ghosts! What could they possibly want with my stuff? But then one floats towards us and we duck down to avoid being seen. He passes by us and we rise up to look at the others. "Yeah, well the Soul Archer's here too, so now would be a good time to leave." Ronin says then he grabs my arm, but I pull away from him. No way! "If I can't help my friends as the Water Ninja, I can help them as a samurai." I state. I press a button on my bracelet then put on my helmet. "I've got a bad feeling about this." Deal with it, Ronin.

My Samurai X mech takes flight and I run up and enter it. It's hump back and draw out the sword. "Sorry to crash the party, but this place looks a little dead." I tell the ghosts. "The girl. Get her!" Morro's friends charge at me and I swing the sword at them, but it goes through them. Uh, oh. I try again, but same result. Oh, right. They're ghosts! I keep trying to land a hit but nothing. "All right, maybe my weapons can't help." Soul Archer draws an arrow which gains a face and he fires at me, but it gets hit by something. I follow the something and see it get caught by Ronin. "But this can." He says. "Ronin." "Yeah, that's my name. Don't wear it out." (He has his moments. Sometimes.)

Morro starts summoning wind, "He's conjuring reinforcements!" Ronin says. "That I can deal with." I state, aim a cannon and fire at Morro. The bomb lands and sticks on the armor. "You're gonna blow up your friend?" Ronin asks. "Oh. Yeah, maybe I didn't think that through." Nope. Definitely did not think it through. I want to kick Morro's butt, not hurt Lloyd. Morro takes off the armor and tosses at Ronin and I, it blows up. And the armor is fine. At least he can't summon anymore allies. "Destroy them!" Oh, wait... he still has some. I swing my sword at them again. I know it doesn't work, but what else can I do?!?

They grab my mech's arms and I get picked up and presented to Morro. Shoot. I eject out of the mech, I scream as I fall down but position myself and land on my feet. But then one of those ghosts enter my mech and it glows green and transforms into a horrific, monstrous four-armed design. "We can't fight them all. We gotta leave!" Ronin grabs my arm but I just look at my mech. "No, they're not taking my suit!" I try to go to it, but Ronin holds me back. "Then I'm taking you!" He throws me over his shoulder and runs. (Retreat!) "Let go of me!" I struggle but could not get free and watch as we get further away.

The ghosts chase after us and Ronin whistle but I still try to get free. I have to help my friends! We make it outside. "Boo." "Aah!" Ronin stops. "Whoa!" Two ghosts surround us and Ronin runs again but stops and I hear something big land. "Ghoultar never let you leave!" Crud. There's no way out. "Heh, guys, there's gotta be a deal we can stele here, huh?" Ronin says and puts me down. But we step back as the ghosts come towards us. We're surrounded. There's nothing I can do as a samurai. This is my fault. I cover my face to brace for what will happen... but I feel... rain? I uncover my face and see that it is raining. (🌧️) Water... Water! The ghosts join in the mech to protect them from the rain. "We have what we came for. Leave 'em." Morro says, he flies into the air then summons his Elemental Dragon and flies off along with the ghosts taking my mech.

However, I am more amazed by the fact it's raining, and right when we needed water the most. "Rain? In the middle of the dry season?" Ronin asks. "What luck, right?" I respond. "That ain't luck, sweetheart. Face it, Nya. You are the Water Ninja!" He says. I take off my helmet and look up at the sky. I thought I could help as a samurai, but Samurai X could do nothing against ghosts. I... I need to train. I need to become the Water Ninja. That is how I will help my friends. (Atta girl.)

Third Person P.O.V.

In Sensei Yang's temple, the Ninja stand in a hallway with a rope tied around their waists to ensure they would not separate again. Kai, Zane, (Y/N), Jay and Cole all check the top to make sure it is tied tightly around their waists. "All right, no matter what happens, no one can run away. We're in this together." Cole states. "Ha, ha! Ain't no thang like a Sensei Yang. Let's find him and get that Airjitzu." Jay says. "Hopefully soon. The sun is going to rise in a while." (Y/N) states. The team starts waking and look around to keep an eye on anything supernatural happening. "Just so we're not surprised, Zane, Jay, what sort of things are you afraid of?" Kai asks. Zane looks back and gasps, "I THINK I KNOW WHAT I'M AFRAID OF!" He says.

He stops and the others look back, seeing Morro standing at the end of the hall. "IT'S MORRO!" Zane yells. "Of course. He had to appear." (Y/N) mutters, annoyed at seeing that guy. The guys scream at seeing him. "Of all the times to have to fight him again." Cole says. "And he already knows Airjitzu. We don't stand a chance." Jay says. "Wait a minute. If we're all afraid of Morro, this must be the next test." Kai says. "I'm not afraid of him." (Y/N) speaks up. (Yeah, she ain't.) "How are we supposed to save Lloyd if we don't have the courage to face him." Kai continues. "So, you're saying we punch him? I'm in." (Y/N) smirks as she holds up a fist. "They're right. Let's get him." Cole states. The team runs at Morro but the rope makes them trip a little and once the gang turn down into the hall where Morro went, he's gone. "We weren't fast enough." Cole says.

Kai looks to his left. "There he is!" Kai points at Morro as he turns another corner. "All right, let's step together. One, two, three. One, two, three. One, two, three." Cole instructs as the team run again and have no problem. Morro climbs up a latter and Kai stops, Zane stops to avoid bumping into him and (Y/N) stops before bumping into him. However, Jay bumps into Jay. "Eek!" (Y/N) lets out a surprise noise then slaps Jay in the face. "Ow! What was that for?" He asks her as he holds a hand to his face. "WATCH. THOSE. HANDS." She glares at him. "Oh. Sorry." Jay apologizes and holds up his hands. (It was an accident. Also, if you're wondering where, here's a hint: 🍑) "He went up into the attic." Kai says. Jay let out a frighten noise, "Attics. Definitely near the top of the list of things I'm afraid of." He says. "Welp. Time to face it and cross it off the list." (Y/N) tells him.

Kai grabs a lantern and lights as the team make it up the latter. They walk up to Morro as he stands in place with his arms behind his back and facing the wall. "He's just standing there. What do we do?" Jay says. "I don't know. But go face him, Jay." Kai says. "Pfft! You face him!" Jay retorts. "We'll all face him." Cole states. The team slowly step towards Morro and (Y/N) reaches out her hand to him, but then he disappears and the guys jump back. "Gah!" (Y/N) yelps as she is pulled by the rope. She gives them a look, "Really?" She asks them.

She looks forward and Sensei Yang appears before the team. "As iron sharpens iron, sensei sharpens student. You have passed the test." He tells them. (Finally. 😮‍💨) "Then you'll teach us how to do Airjitzu?" Kai asks him. Sensei Yang takes out a scroll, "Only those who see things through will reap the benefit of the reward." He tells them and offers the scroll to them. Cole takes it and holds it in hands. "That's not the only thing we see through. Why is it I can see through my hand?" Jay says, his hand becoming transparent. (Y/N)'s eyes widen as her powers flare up. Sensei Yang laughs as a dark green light shines from him. "Now you will join my students." He says, the ghosts of his students appearing behind him and wearing chains. "He's not just their mentor, he's their captor." Cole realizes as he and the team back away from Sensei Yang. "The new dawn's upon us. Get out before the clock's last chime... if you can." He tells them.

"We have to go. Now. NOW!" (Y/N) shouts. (RUUUUN!!!) The guys scream and the team get out of the attic and bolt for the exit. They fall and land on the ground due to being tied together. "WHY DID WE TIE OURSELVES TOGETHER?" Zane asks. "No time. RUN!" (Y/N) shouts. "There's to time to complain, we just have to move!" Cole exclaims. The team get up as Cole counts to help them keep rhythm. The clock then chimes as the sun rises. "The door! Hurry!" Kai exclaims as the team race down the stairs. Sunlight shines through the gaps in the windows, but Cole trips on something and he loses his grip on the scroll as it flies out of his hand. "Uh-oh!" He tries catching it, but it lands at a distance from him. "The scroll!" With no hesitation, he unties the rope on himself and grabs the scroll.

The last chime is made and the doors swung open as Kai, Zane, (Y/N) and Jay make it out in time. They stop to catch their breath and Kai holds up his hand as it returns back to its solid state, "My hand. I can see my hand. We made it!" He says in relief. (Y/N) pants as she rests her hands on her back, but then gasps and feels her heart drop. "Ah. But where's Cole?" Jay asks as he notices Cole missing, picking up the end of the rope. "Don't worry, I got the scroll!" Cole says, walking over to meet with the others as he holds the scroll up. However, his voice had an echo. The others look at him and gasp in shock. "Why are all you looking at me like that?" Cole asks them. "You didn't make it out in time." Jay tells him. "Yeah, Cole, you're a... a..." Kai trials off as he could not finish his sentence. (😔)

Cole looks at himself to find that his body is now translucent and glows a soft green. He sighs, "I'm a... ghost?" He says in disbelief. He hangs his head low then halls onto knees while Sensei Yang's laughter is heard. The others walk to him and (Y/N) gets on her knees in front of Cole. She reaches out to him, but the memory of the fake Cole flashes in her mind and she pulls back her hand. She pants but then her powers flare up, feeling Cole's despair. She frowns in sympathy and grabs the scroll as Cole still grips it. (It's the closest to holding hands she can do for now.) "We'll get through this. Together." She states.
