(Here's the next chapter. Sorry for taking a while. Hope you like it. I'm excited for the next couple of episodes.)

It's been a couple of days since the failed uniting of the Serpentine tribes and things have been quiet. My head has healed from the blow I got from one of the snakes. I'll have to knock some sense into the next ones I encounter. I finish braiding my hair and I look in the mirror. I smile, "Ready to start the day." I say to myself. I walk out of my room and close the door behind me. I make my way to meet the others, but then I stop because of a pain I feel in my head. I lean against the wall as I hold my head. "(Y/N)." What? Who's there? "I'm so sorry, (Y/N)." There it was again, but then it stopped. I try and use my powers to sense if anyone else is on board, but there is only me, Wu, Lloyd, Nya, and the boys.

Weird. I shake my head and continue on my way. I open the doors and the guys and Nya greet me as I wave at them and sit down next to Lloyd. "So, what did I miss?" I ask. "Not much. We were asking Lloyd what is the best way to stun a Serpentine." Zane fills me in. Nya slides over a cup of tea to me and I grab it, thanking her and taking a sip. "So, what is it?" I question Lloyd. "First, I'll stomp on his tail. Then when he turns, a thunderclap to his ears. Then when he's stunned, I'll disarm him." He answers confidently and I smile fondly at his spirit. "Too late, he's already hypnotized you and now you're under his control." Cole objects. "Or he's already put you in a squeeze." Zane adds. "Or spit on you with his hallucinatory venom. Trust me, bad stuff." Kai says.

I roll my eyes at their antics, but they're not wrong. Lloyd lets out a groan, "Uncle, what's the best way to stun a Serpentine if you don't know what kind they are?" He asks Wu, who entered not too long ago. "Sadly, it was the Sacred Flute you five carelessly lost." Master says, I look down in slight disappointment. "Hey, no, no, no, we didn't lose it. Pythor stole it." Jay clears. Oh yeah, I owe that spineless noodle a punch in the face. "Whatever the case, without it I fear we have nothing to combat their powers. We may have prevented them from uniting in the past, but they will try again, and one day they will be stronger." Master states, pouring himself a cup of tea.

"Don't worry, Sensei. I've almost reached my full potential and when I become the Green Ninja, we're not gonna need any magic flute." Dang it, Cole. I rest my arms on the table and rest my head on them, quietly groaning. "You're gonna be the Green Ninja? Ha-ha-ha! Don't make me laugh." I hear Kai but didn't bother to lift my head. "I thought it was decided that I was destined to become the Green Ninja." Not you too, Zane. "Oh-ho-ho. The only thing decided about you, Zane, is that you're weird." Come on, Jay. Then they all started arguing and I groan louder, but it goes unnoticed.

I feel someone pat my back, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's in the box?" I look up as Lloyd asks, and notice a box placed on the table in front of Master. Huh. How did I not notice that before? "Your new uniforms." New uniforms? I stand up straight and the guys stop arguing. We all grab our cases. "Whoa! They've got like armor." "I love the gold highlights." "Battle claws!" "The material is light and breathable." The guys comment while I look at mine with a smile. "Oh. Nothing for me?" I look and see Lloyd frown sadly. "Oh, um, you get, uh... the box?" Wu tries to cheer up Lloyd.

The alarm then blares and we rush to the bridge. Once we entered, Cole turned off the alarm and one of the screens shows a visual of some snakes. "Sorry to break up the moment, boys, but a small fraction of our slithering friends is stirring up trouble at Mega-Monster Amusement Park." He says. "Amusement park?! Can I go? Can I go with you, please? Let me make things up. I can help." Lloyd says excitedly. I can't help but giggle a little at his infectious enthusiasm. "I'm sorry, nephew. You will stay here, where it's safe." Master declines. Lloyd groans disappointingly, "Ninja get all the fun." I smile in sympathy for him.

"What do you say, guys? Time to try out the new merchandise?" Jay speaks up, he and the guys leave to go put on their new Gis. Nya goes to monitor the screens and Wu goes to steer the ship manually. I see Lloyd still looking pretty down, so I walk over to him and kneel to be at eye level with him. "Hey, once we deal with the snakes, how about you and I go and have some fun together at the amusement park?" I offer. He looks up at me and smiles excitedly, "Really?! You mean it?" He asks. I nod my head, "Of course. And also," I lean towards, "I've never been to an amusement park." I whisper to him. His smile widens, "Then I'll help you! It'll be the best day ever!" He says excitedly. I say bye to him and exit the bridge to go put on my new Gi.

After I changed and grabbed my fans, I have to say that it is fitting and flexible, I meet up with the boys near the edge of the ship. (PS: You have silver armor. I think purple and silver go well together.) "This new stuff feels like it will really protect us." Cole says. "Yet provides more mobility." Zane adds. "You wanna strut your stuff on the catwalk, or get down to that park so we can go on some rides?" Jay interrupts. "I love a good old-fashioned roller coaster, but nothing beats this." Kai says before they all jump off the Bounty. I roll my eyes and jump off too. I ride with Jay as we get closer to the park, they make the vehicles vanish and we land on a shack and then flip down. Striking a pose. Okay, that was cool.

"Ha! Check that out. And not a scratch on me." Cole boasts. "Oh, and we wouldn't want that." I say, sarcastically with an eye roll. We walk on but then we see a crowd of people cheering at something. "Ha-ha! Ladies, relax, relax, we have arrived." Jay says assuringly. But when we made our way through the crowd, the snakes have already been dealt with. They were grunting as they try to break free from the rope that bounded them. "Uh, what just happened?" I hear Kai asks. I lift a brow in confusion, "Oh, you totally missed it. They were like icky snakes, and then this mysterious samurai came in and saved everyone." One girl answers. "He was, like, gorgeous." Another girl fawns at the samurai. "You saw his face?" Kai asks, but then I feel a familiar presence and look to find Nya with two ice cream cones. Wait.

"No, but we could totally tell." Nya gives the sweets to the two women. "Nya, you're here." Jay says. "Yeah, you just missed all the action. He just flew in, took care of business, and then he flew off. It was pretty cool." She replies. But then I hear a kid complaining about wanting to be a samurai and two guys talking about how the samurai is their hero. To make it simple; Samurai, has taken over.

"Ugh, who is this guy?" Kai groans. "Whoever he is, he's stealing our thunder." Cole complains. "And we just got these cool new ninja suits. Argh! I'm gonna say it, I hate Samurai." Jay complains. I roll my eyes, "Come on, guys. This 'Mysterious Samurai' helped in dealing with the Serpentine. They made our job easier." I tell them. "(Y/N) makes a valid point." I look over to see Master with cotton candy in his hand. Him too? "And do I hear a hint of jealousy? Maybe this can be a lesson for you." He wisely say, approaching us. "Oh! Not another lesson- Hey, how did you get here so quick?" Jay complains before asking Master. "The lesson is iron sharpens iron." Master states.

"I do not follow, Sensei." Zane says. "Healthy competition can help you reach your true potential faster. Do not be jealous of this Samurai, let it inspire you." Master explains, walking between us. Hold up, if he's here and Nya is here.... Who is... "Master, is Lloyd on the Bounty ALONE?" I question him, my patience wearing thin. "Uh... Oh, Ferris wheel!" He exclaims and runs off. I growl a little in frustration. "Inspire?" I hear Jay question and focus back on the boys. "Wait a minute. Maybe the old man's right." Kai says. Oh, I don't like where this is going. "You want us to compete with the Samurai? He's got all the cool gadgets, we don't stand a chance." Cole points out. "No, not with him. With us." Kai clarifies. "What?" I say out loud. "I say we turn this into our own competition. Whichever of us is skilled enough to catch this Mysterious Samurai is probably the best of the bunch." Kai says, waving his sword around. I grabbed a guy and pull him out of the way before he could have been cut. He thanks me and runs off.

"So whoever learns the identity of this Samurai is the one who will become the destined Green Ninja. Ha! I love it." I duck to avoid Jay's nunchucks. "Then it's a bet. May the Green Ninja win." Cole declares. "Ninja-Go!" They all exclaim. "Count me out." I state. "Huh? But don't you want to find out who the Samurai is?" Jay asks me. I give him a blank look, "Why bother? The more help we have, the faster our snake problem will be resolved. Besides, remember the last time you guys competed to see who was the Green Ninja?" I emphasized the last line, giving them a pointed look. "Okay. (Y/N), you don't have to be a part of the competition, but the rest of us are in it to win it." Jay says. I roll my eyes and start walking away, "Have fun!" I call out to them.

I make it back to the Bounty and take off my hood as I look around for Lloyd. "Lloyd! Where are you?" I call out to him. "You're back!" I see him as he exits from the bridge and hurries down the stairs. He trips a little but regains his balance and walks up to me. "So how did it go? How many snakes did you beat up?" He asks eagerly. I give him a small smile, "Well, none." I answer. He becomes confused after I said that. "The Samurai showed up and stopped the snakes before we arrived. The guys are having a competition to see who can find out their identity first, but I figured that since the Samurai dealt with the snakes I thought we could go to the park." I clear. Lloyd jumps excitedly as he smiles widely. "Yeah! Let me go get ready." He runs off. I giggle softly and go get some stuff.

I change out of my Gi and put on some casual clothes. I grab a bag and check to see if I have enough money. I hold onto my fans, just in case, and meet up with Lloyd who was on the deck and bouncing in excitement. I smile fondly but then smirk and quietly sneak up on him. Right as I was right behind him, I attack him by tickling his sides. He laughs uncontrollably and I let out a few laughs of my own. "Stop! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! I give, I give!" He cries out. I let him go as he takes deep breaths, "Sorry, couldn't help it. Now let's go." I apologize.

I dropped the anchor beforehand and have Lloyd hold onto me as I use my powers to create a rope-like creation from powers and lasso it onto the chain. "Hold on." I tell Lloyd and jump off the deck. I focus my powers to lengthen the rope I made and we made it to the ground safely. And if you're wondering why lasso the chain, it's so I can grab onto it in case my powers failed. I lower Lloyd to the ground and he grabs my hand, pulling me along, "Come on, come on! Let's go!" He exclaims, and I smile as we make our way to the amusement park.

It was really fun. We played some games, for which I won many of them and got Lloyd a green dragon plushie. We went on some rides and the roller coaster was a thrill ride. Reminded me of the flights with the dragons. Oh, I miss them. And we got some candy too. I had to keep Lloyd from eating too much, otherwise, he would have gotten a stomach ache. I couldn't help but feel so happy, not just for Lloyd but for myself. I never got to experience an amusement park and now that I am here and sharing the experience with someone, it feels like I achieved something I didn't know was an achievement.

After our day at the park, Lloyd and I were walking back to the Bounty. I called beforehand and Jay would pick us up with his jet. I looked back and smile softly as Lloyd slept while I carried him on my back, holding onto the plushie I won for him. I then noticed a glowing orb floating next to him and I realized that I made it. I look back and Lloyd smile in his sleep as he moves a little. I stop and adjust him on my back and continue walking. Once I see the Bounty, I focus my powers and send a ball of energy that explodes, looking like fireworks. Soon enough, I see Jay's jet and I board it, adjusting Lloyd to hold him in front of me as Jay flies smoothly. Today has been a good day.

For the next couple of days, we had numerous snake sightings. And every single one, the Samurai dealt with all of them. The guys were frustrated and I couldn't help but slightly enjoy their frustration a little bit. I was in the middle of giving Lloyd a little showing of my powers until a knock was heard on my door, "Come in." I answer, looking at the door. The door opens and Master enters, "(Y/N), we need you out on patrol." He says. "But I don't have a vehicle of my own, Master." I counter. "That is why you will be with Jay. He will be patrolling with you." I mentally groan. Really? Jay of all people? He is going to rant about the Samurai the whole time. But I know Master won't take no for an answer.

I stand up, "Okay." I agree. "But what about me?" Lloyd asks. I look down at him as he gives me a frown. "Kai will look after you, my nephew." Master says, "Now come along. Let us give (Y/N) some time to get ready." He says, already leaving. I look at Lloyd and give him a smile, "Don't worry. I'm sure it'll be quick. And I'll show you some moves once I get back." I whisper to him. He smiles and nods excitedly then exits my room to follow Master. I quickly change and meet up with Jay. Hopefully, this will be quick.

Lloyd's P.O.V.

I hold onto Kai as he drove his motorcycle then stops at an arcade. I hop off, "Okay, I know Sensei told me to look after you, but just play a few games and stay put while I look around. I have a feeling the Samurai may show up." He says, handing me some money. "Oh, let me help." I offer. "No." "Come on. At least drop me off at a decent arcade." I retort. "Sorry, shorty." "Kai, wait!" I call out, but he already sped off and left smoke behind. Gross. I cough to get the stuff out of lungs.

Ugh. Why did Uncle have to send (Y/N) on patrol and have me get stuck with Kai? I then walk to the arcade and as I was about to open the door to enter, "I hear he found it." I stop. I walk towards where I heard it, "And everyone is gathering again." I peak at the alleyway and see Scales with some other snakes. "Impossible. The Losst City does not exisst." "Well, it isn't lossst anymore. Ha-ha. And I hear there'ss gonna be a fight." Scales says. "A fight? Count me in." I quietly make my way and see them board a snake-themed bus. Lost city? A fight? "All a board. Next stop, Ouroboros."

I walk away and exit the alley. They're up to something, but how can I find out what? I look up and.... A-ha! Maracas, snake-like glasses, fake fangs, and a Serpentine hat. And with the money I got from Kai, I know what to do. I enter the arcade and buy the stuff. I hurry to the bus and see it right as the last snake got on. I hop in, "Hey, you, hold it there." "Huh?" Crud. I step off, I really hope Scales doesn't recognize me. "Lasst one in closes the door." He says. "Uh, sure thing." I say. Phew. That was close. I enter the bus and close the door. We drive off and I find a seat to myself. Now all I have to do is wait.

It was a long drive and the sky turned dark. I look around to see where we're going and I look out the window to see a statue of a snake. I gasp. Wait? He said the Lost City of Ouroboros. Oh boy. The bus stopped and we all got off. I keep a low profile as I go into the stands and look around to see all the Serpentine tribes. It was like an arena and in it, I see Scales and Pythor. "I bring you together to the Lost City of Ouroboros, before the statue of our very own Great Devourer, to speak of unity." Pythor says, pointing to a large statue of a snake. "Where are the fightsss?" I look to my right as a snake asked. "Where is the big show?"

"Sslither Pit! Sslither Pit! Sslither Pit!" Everyone stars chanting. I remember that. It was how Scales became the general after he beat the old one in a fight. Guess Slither Pits are a snake battle for who gets what. I hear Pythor yell and turn my attention back to him. "You want a show? You want to see a fight? I ask for your allegiance but you will not give it. So I will take it!" He declares. "What are you sssaying?" The Fangpyre general asks. "I challenge the four tribe generals for their staffs and their allegiance. At once!" Pythor says. All the snakes cheered. I watch on. How is Pythor suppose to beat four generals by himself? "I fought hard for thiss staff and I will not give it up so eassily." "There'ss now way he can defeat the four of us at once."

The generals start fighting against Pythor and he was able to defend himself until three of the generals pile on him. But Scales wasn't attacking him and then I hear a familiar sound. I gasp quietly, "He's using the Sacred Flute against his own." Now that's playing dirty. The other generals yell in pain as they back away from Pythor. Scales toss his staff while Pythor takes the others by force. "Bow to your master, Serpentine!" He shouts. I bow too, but my hat slips and I try to keep it on. But I drop my maracas. Uh oh. Pythor looks up at me and I try to leave but a snake grabs me and pulls me back.

My hat and glasses fall off. "Where do you think you're going?" The snake asks. "Lloyd?!" Pythor says, not sounding happy. Oh no.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

So, it was not a relaxing patrol. Jay complained. For. Three. Hours! I was using every ounce of will I had to not pound him. Once we got back to the Bounty, I head straight to my room and went through the motions and face plant onto my bed.

The light of the sun wakes me up and I struggle to get out of bed. "Mmmm, five more minutes." I mutter. But I had to get up so I did. Once I was ready, I make my way to meet up with the others. "Trying to find out the Samurai's identity is more of a nuisance than the snakes. Any luck with you?" I hear Cole ask right as I enter and sit next to Kai. "The guy's elusive. He's like a ghost. One moment he's there, the next he's gone." Jay says. Yeah, yeah. Stupid Samurai, blah, blah, blah. "I am starting to believe we might never catch him." Zane says. "I think it's safe to say, none of us are closer to proving we're the Green Ninja." I jump a little from Kai setting his cup near me on the table.

I roll my eyes, "Maybe, we should be more focused on ensuring the Serpentine do not unite. Remember the legends about the Great Devourer?" I tell them. "Looks like iron is sharpening iron." I turn my attention to Wu as he joins us. "I feel you getting closer to your true potential." He says. Tapping Cole's arm, "Ow!" He pulls back. I snicker a little. "Where is my nephew?" I froze. Wait. "I thought you were looking after him?" I use my powers to try and feel him on the ship, but he's not....here.

"I thought Cole was gonna pick him up." Kai says. "I went to the arcade, but he wasn't there. Jay was-" "Don't bring me into this. I was patrolling with (Y/N) yesterday." Jay defends. "Sensei, we have not seen him." Zane states. Gone. Lloyd is gone. Where is he? WHERE IS HE?!?! "AAAGGHH!!" I scream. I hold my head as I feel it hurt. It feels like knives being stabbed into my brain. "I'm sorry I won't be there to see you grow." That voice again. Who is that?

"(Y/N). (Y/N)!" I snap out of it and see everyone crowd around me. The pain is gone and I see everyone looking down at me with worry and concern. And I realize that I'm lying on the floor too. "What.... What happened?" I ask. "You screamed and started crying. You looked to be in pain. Are you alright?" Zane explains gently as Cole and Kai help me up. I put a hand to my face and see that I was crying as I feel tears. "(Y/N), perhaps it is best you stay here-" "No." I interrupted Master. "I'm going to find Lloyd." I state, walking to my room to get my fans. I wipe my face and become determined.

I ride with Cole as we follow Kai to where he dropped off Lloyd. Once we made it, Cole makes his vehicle disappear and I quickly follow after Kai. "Lloyd? Lloyd?" He looks in to the arcade but I could tell, that no matter how much I wished it not to be true, he was not there. "He was right here. Someone must have seen him." Kai says. I walk away to get my emotions in check. I try to sense him with my powers but I can't. Again. "Hey, guys. Check this out." I stop and look at Cole, only to see him looking at something overhead. I follow his gaze and see a camera.

We then find ourselves in a surveillance room as we watch the footage recorded yesterday. "Oh! Wait, wait, there's the pipsqueak. Play that back." Jay says and I see Lloyd. The footage is reversed then plays and I see that he looks to be watching something. The footage then cuts and it shows him exiting the arcade wearing some Serpentine accessories. No. He didn't. No wait.... He would. "What is he up to?" I hear Jay asks.

We then head to the alley way and follow the footprints Lloyd left behind. "I sense these are Lloyd's footprints, but they come to an end here. Why?" Zane says as we stop. I then notice tire tracks. "Something tells me we're going for a ride." Kai says, noticing the tracks as well. "Then let's make some of our own tracks." I state. They summon their vehicles and go the direction the tracks went. I soon see something in the distanced. "What is that place?" Cole asks. "Looks like snake city." Jay says through the intercoms. Snake city? Lloyd dressed up as a Serpentine. Then this must be... "Ouroboros." I say softly. We sped up and once we were close enough, the vehicles vanish and we made our way in carefully.

We hear cheering and make our way to it. Once we arrived, it was an arena with a depiction of a snake on the ground. We hid in one of the entrances near a snake statue. "It appears Pythor has successfully united all of the tribes." Zane says. "I know we ruined their last get-together, but that's no reason to not get an invitation. My feelings are hurt." Cole jokes. "This is not something to joke about, Cole. This is Ouroboros." I state. "Ouro-what now?" I hear Jay ask. I look at the guys, "After Cole mentioned the Great Devourer, I did some research and found out that it was sealed away in Ouroboros. The Serpentine City that was hidden away to ensure that it would never be released. But since Pythor has united the tribes, I'm afraid the first step is already complete." I explain.

"There's Lloyd." I quickly turn myself to see where Kai pointed and there he is. Locked.... In a..... Cage?!?!?! I grab my fans but feel someone lay a hand on my shoulder. "(Y/N), calm down. We'll rescue him." I hear Cole and, reluctantly, put away my fans. "Whoa. Hey, (Y/N), is that what I think it is?" I hear Jay ask. I look to see what he is pointing at and see a statue of a snake that was the main takeaway of the place. "Let me guess: the Great Devourer." Cole answers. "All the more reason to get Lloyd out of here. This comes to an end today." Kai says, drawing out his sword. I bring out my fans.

We charge forward but then my powers flare up. But it was too late as a cage drops down on the boys, trapping and disarming them. I hear gasps, "Ah! (Y/N)! Ninja!" I look to see Lloyd, "It looks like we caught the main event." I hear a familiar voice and turn my head to see Pythor. I grip my fans tightly and clench my teeth as he laughs mockingly. "RAAAHHHHH!!!!" I jump at him and he dodges. "Huh. You are more resilient than I had thought. But it won't do you much good right now." He taunts. I open my fans and take my stance. He rolls his eyes, "Oh, now that is not needed." "What you're gonna need is a second life ONCE I END YOURS!!!" I shout.

I charge at him and try to swipe at him with my fans. He dodges but then I stop and deliver a jump kick to his ribs. He falls back and I stand above him. "Release Lloyd and the others or, so help me, I will make you REGRET ever slithering out of that tomb." I threatened. He looks at me with some slight fear before he smirks, "I must say, you are more threatening than I thought. But you are at the disadvantage here, dear. For you see, you are on our turf." He says. "(Y/N), watch out!" I hear the guys shout. I turn back only to get tackled by a bunch of snakes. I try to get them off by using my powers, but they would not respond. "Come On!" I shout. But then I got hit on the head. Hard. I try to stay awake as my vision starts to get blurry. "(Y/N)!" And all I felt after was another hit to my head.

Third Person P.O.V.

After (Y/N) was knocked out, she was tied up and taken to be beside Pythor as he and Scales stand under the Great Devourer's statue. The guys were being escorted by a group of snakes to the center of the arena. An anonymous being within a cage watches them. "Main event? What does he mean by main event?" Jay asks worriedly. "I have a feeling we're the main event." Kai replies. The snakes cheer as they watch the ninja. "Or the main course." Cole adds. "Kai, you may be right. Things really may come to an end today." Zane says, as he and the guys stop as they face the cage. "Uh, don't worry. The Samurai could still come around to save us. Or (Y/N) could wake up and go beast mode on these snakes." Jay says, albeit sounding close to panicking.

"You say you wanted a battle, and I give you one! I give you ninja versus... samurai!" Pythor announces as the crowd cheers. The gates open to reveal none other than the Samurai as they walk out. They had chains wrapped around their mech's arms to keep them contained and some snakes remove them so that they can fight. The guys gulp in unison. "What?!? We have to fight the Samurai? But we don't have our Golden Weapons and he has that hulking thing of armor. It's not fair!" Jay complains. "I want to see once and for all who is the greatest hero! Is it samurai or ninja? Only the victor will be allowed to leave!" Pythor declares.

"Stay together." Kai says. "Perhaps he can join our team to fight our way out? After all, he hates the Serpentine too." Zane proposes to the others. But the Samurai throughs a disk at them and they jump out of the way to avoid it. Grunting as they hit the ground. "Scratch that, he is not on our team." Cole says, standing up and assuming a fighting stance. The Samurai charges forward and swings its mech's arm at them, but they jump before it could hit them. They stumble forward but regain their balance as they turn back to face the Ninja, tossing another disk. "Ha-ha, missed me!" Jay laughs, ducking before it hit him as the others jumped to the side. However, the disks turns back and hits Jay on the backside of his head. He groans in pain as he rubs his head, the others regrouping with him.

They assume their stances once again as the snakes watch them, cheering from above. Pythor nods in approval at the cheering but Lloyd focuses on (Y/N), who was still unconscious. He looks to see the Samurai pull out a large sword and see them swing it down at the Ninja, but they dodge in time. He frowns worriedly and looks at (Y/N) again. She was placed near his cage, "(Y/N), wake up. Wake up!" He whispers to her, but she does not stir.

The guys regroup after dodging the Samurai's sword. "Tornado of Creation?" Zane offers. "But what about (Y/N)?" Cole interjects. "We're gonna have to make due without her. We don't have much of a choice right now!" Kai counters. "Well, it's now or never!" Jay exclaims. They all nod in agreement. "Earth." "Fire." "Ice." "Lightning." They all do Spinjitzu and come together to form the Tornado of Creation, "Ninja-Go!" The exclaim. The Samurai steps back as the tornado sucks in any stuff it could, including the sword wielding by the mech wearing stranger.

Once it disbanded, it reveals a giant slingshot was made and guys pulled back the band as they launch a spiked-ball at the Samurai. It hits and the Samurai pushed back, landing just on the steps of the ledge Pythor and Scales stand on. The guys run to them, Scales gasps but Pythor remains calm and grabs a lever, pulling it down. Spikes shot up and the guys stop in time before they ran into them. "Argh! Why can't anyone play fair?" Jay complains loudly. Pythor smirks as he pulls the lever down more and the ground the guys were on starts to tilt backwards.

The guys lose their balance and fall backwards but manage grab the spikes to hold on to prevent them from falling into the dark abyss. The Samurai too had to hold onto the spikes and soon found themselves hanging onto one with the Ninja. "Can this get any worse?" Cole complains. "We must continue to make it appear that we are fighting for real." The Samurai states. "Huh? We're not fighting for real?" Jay asks, confused. "Keep up the charade and hold on to my exo-suit." They tell them. The guys jump on to the suit as instructed and the Samurai activates the thrusters. They fly up but not far because the engines were sputtering. "There's too much weight!" Kai exclaims. Without hesitation, the Samurai opens the chest piece and jumps out.

The suit flies off with the guys on it. "I can't believe he just saved us!" Cole says in disbelief. "He stole our thunder again!" Kai complains. "Gah! I hate that Samurai!" Jay yells. Pythor watches with Scales as they escape. "Go, ninja, go!" Lloyd cheers. The Samurai lands in the stands and punches some snakes behind them. They then jump down and make a break for Pythor. The Anacondrai thinks fast and grabs Lloyd, holding him as he glares at the Samurai, "GET HIM!" He orders. Snakes started to surround the Samurai and, due to all the noise, (Y/N) finally wakes. She blinks away the dizziness as she looks to find the Samurai alone and their mech nowhere in sight.

"Magnetizer activated." The Samurai say, pressing a button on their wrist, activating a magnet that attracts the Golden Weapons to them. They skillfully wrap them in a flag they snatched from one of the poles in the arena. (Y/N) felt her fans and made quick work with using them to cut the ropes that bind her. The Samurai tosses a disk and it hits the lever, causing the ground to tilt again and some snakes fall into the abyss while they used their jetpack to fly out. (Y/N) stood up and was about to get Lloyd but the boy looks back at her and shakes his head. The two had a long stare down but (Y/N) could feel Lloyd's emotions. He wants her to get to safety. (Y/N) stares at him a little longer until she closes her eyes then makes here way to the top of the statue of the Great Devourer.

The Samurai did not notice her as they land on the head of the statue also. Pythor growls in anger and the Samurai takes a bow. "Mind if I catch a ride?" (Y/N) asks. The Samurai looks back, startled by her appearance but nods their head. (Y/N) holds on to them as they make their getaway. She looks back and frowns, knowing Lloyd is still back there. However, Lloyd was glad his friend got away.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

We got away. But Lloyd. How could I have been so stupid? I let my emotions cloud my better judgement and I didn't think straight and, "We are going down." I snap out of my mental rant and look to see the ground coming closer. A purple bubble appears and shields us as we hit the ground. I grunt as we bounce a bit until the the shield pops and I land on my front. Thank goodness, I still have my hood on, otherwise I would have had a mouthful of sand. I stand up and gain my bearings as I take off my hood and look around to see miles of sand.

I then remember I'm not alone and I turn around to see the Samurai. "Nya, are you okay?" I call out as I walk over to her. I see her flinch a little and look back at me, "Please stand back." She says in a disguised voice. I shake my head, still walking towards her, "I know it's you. Nya." I state. She tries to come up with something to say but sighs and takes off her helmet to reveal her face. "How did you know?" She asks. I stop as I stand in front of her, "I felt a familiar presence right before the 'Samurai' made their appearance back at the Toxic Bogs. And you happened to be at the amusement park right after the 'Samurai' dealt with the snakes there. And they happened to have some similar color designs that a certain person I know wears." I explain, smiling a little.

She sighs again but smiles this time, "I should have known. You can sense people with your powers." She says. I shrug, "Yeah. But my powers were not all that helpful back there before I got knocked out. Again." I cringe a little, rubbing the back of my head where I was hit. "Hey, you were pretty fierce when you went all 'beast mode' as Jay puts it." Nya says and I look at her as she gives me a smile. I give her a smile back.

"(Y/N)!" I hear Kai and turn back to see him run to me. "You're okay. I'm sorry about leaving you behind earlier but things were-Nya?" He pauses as he looks past me. Oh. Nya turns around to try and hide her identity but it's too late. I lay a hand on her shoulder and gently turn her to face her brother. She looks down with a defeated look on her face. "I don't understand. You're the Samurai?" Kai says, stopping as he looks at his sister in disbelief. "It was always a ninja club. You never let me try to help. So I found my own way to be a hero. Are you mad?" Nya says to Kai, placing her helmet on the ground. But I already knew the answer before Kai spoke.

"Mad? Of course not. It's just.... a-all this time, I've been trying to protect you and you've never needed it. You're amazing." Kai says, a proud smile on his face. "Girl power." Nya says, playfully punching his shoulder. I smile at the interaction between the two. "You're not gonna tell the others, are you?" Nya nervously asks Kai. "But we have a bet. We said whoever caught the Samurai would be the Green-" Kai stops as he notices Nya's expression and he looks at me to see my glare. He lets out a long sigh, "Of course, I won't say anything. How did you make all this stuff?" He asks. I smile knowing he wouldn't tell his sister's secret. "You'd be surprised how much spare time I have waiting for you guys to come back from your missions." She answers.

I then remember that we failed our mission but steel myself. "Okay, as sweet as this is, we have to get back with the others and back to the Bounty. As much as it pains me, it is too dangerous to go back to get Lloyd." I state, looking to the ground and crossing arms. I feel a hand on my shoulder and I look to see Kai give me a sympathetic look, "Trust me, I know what it's like to worry about someone you care about. And speaking from experience, we will get Lloyd back." Kai proclaims. I feel myself get emotional and I wipe my eyes before any tears could fall. I sniff, "Thanks." I tell him.

"You guys better head back." Nya says, handing us the Golden Weapons. Kai takes them, "Nya, whenever I get in trouble, (Y/N) and the other three always have my back. But you... Just be careful, will you?" Kai says to her. "Promise." Nya replies. "But how are you gonna get back?" Kai asks. "I have my ways." Nya replies, picking up her helmet and pushing a button on her bracelet. How come I didn't notice that before? Oh well. Nya's mech suit arrived and she got in. We bid her farewell as she took off, knowing we would meet back at the Bounty. I closed my eyes and take a deep breathe then exhale as I use my powers to see the guys not too far away. I open my eyes, "Come on, they're not too far." I tell Kai as we put on our masks and walk to meet up with the guys. We walk up a hill and see them. Kai waves the scythe to get their attention.

After a while, it was night and I am in my room. I was in my pajamas and was currently using a paintbrush to make a painting. It was of me and Lloyd when I won him the dragon plushy. I sigh as I put the brush down and look at the bright smile I painted on Lloyd's face. I close my eyes and I see Lloyd. He was still locked up but I could also see the auras of Scales and... Pythor. I feel anger well up in me and I open my eyes to see a glowing orb, but it looks ready to explode. I take a deep breath to calm myself and once I did, it vanished. Looks like my powers are a little off right now. I need to get this under control.

I jump as I hear a knock. "Come in." I reply, standing up and walking away from my desk. The door opens to reveal Wu. "(Y/N), I've come to wish you a good night." He says. I smile at him, but I could tell he saw I was forcing it. He sighs softly and walks up to me. "I understand you are worried. I am too." He says, placing a hand on my shoulder. "But I can assure you that Lloyd will be back with us. When? I cannot say. But it is nice knowing my nephew has someone that cares very much for him." He says reassuringly. I smile again, it was small but genuine.

I feel tears in my eyes and I sniff as I rub my eyes to keep the tears from falling. I feel Wu gently pat my shoulder, "Get some rest. Tomorrow is a new day." He says, leaving and closing the door. I look at it but then take a deep breath and exhale. I get ready and get comfortable in my bed. I look at the ceiling and slowly close my eyes. The last thing I think of is Lloyd and I's trip to the amusement park. Then sleep takes hold of me.
