(Okay, people! Let's get it on! I have been looking forward to this one.)

Dawn has broke as a new day begins. I inhale deeply then exhale slowly. I am in a meditative state as I check in on Kai, Jay and the other remaining Elemental Masters. I see Skylor and Clouse, lots of goons-Wait a minute, they are in the place where we first saw Karloff get his powers stolen. Focus, woman! Some goons are drumming while others are chanting then the guys are brought before Clouse and Skylor, feeling Griffin and Shade's feelings of worry. Though, Jay seems calm and positive- Oh, shoot, he thinks we'll save him and the others in time before Chen steals their powers. Sorry, Jay, you are going to have to wait a little longer. I feel Neuro's regret for not doing something sooner and I frown in guilt. I should have done something sooner, but I shake my head to ward them away. What is done, is done. (No changing the past.)

I feel Skylor's guilt as she looks away from them. "Go ahead and look away, but you know as well as I do, after he takes our powers, he's still gonna need yours." Kai tells her. I mentally roll my eyes at Skylor defending Chen, who is actually her father, did not see that coming, saying he always gets what he wants. And speak his name and he shall appear, Chen shows up floating in his chair as he uses the power of gravity. A whole talk about how much more awesome he'll be, Jay saying Lloyd and I will save them and stop him and Chen humoring him then he steals their powers. But Skylor asks for Kai to be spared. Hmm. "(Y/N)." I gasp as I open my eyes, feeling a hand on my shoulder and look up to see it is Garmadon. "We must move." He says. I nod my head and stand up. Hold on, guys. (We coming.)

Third Person P.O.V.

Lloyd, (Y/N), Garmadon and Nya all stand on a wall as they look at the estate of Chen's home. The sun shining as it rises. "He knows I'm coming. But I can't just hide here and do nothing." Lloyd says, tired of waiting while his friends are held captive. "We have to wait until nightfall. There's too many." Nya says, noting the guards patrolling the area. "And then what? Every minute we're out here, he grows more powerful-" "Son," Garmadon halts Lloyd's rant, placing a hand on his son's shoulder, "Chen grows strong by taking from others. But real power does the opposite. It empowers those around you. Like the way you've empowered me. We will get you to Chen, and you will destroy his staff." He states.

"Not unless I get it first and use it to deliver a hard swing that will leave him missing a few teeth." (Y/N) says. (She mad-No. She is filled with FURY. 👿) Nya blinks from her straightforward and monotone delivery. "Uh, we want to stop him. Not kill him." She says. "Chen has been playing with us, imprisoned my brother, and now is planning on starting a war for his own entertainment... HE WILL PAY." She states, her eyes flashing bright purple for a second. Lloyd feels her rage and places a hand on her shoulder to calm her. "He will. But not like that." He tells her. He then hesitates for a moment but steels himself, "You need to find the others." He says. (Y/N)'s eyes widen in surprise as she looks at him, "What? But we can stop him together. He has the powers of the other Elemental Masters, even you won't be able to keep up with Chen using them." She argues. "It's not that. It's that if something... You're powers are unlike anything. If you get caught, Chen will be even more powerful. I can't take that risk." He counters. (Y/N) is about to argue but sees the worry in his eyes. She then remembers back to when the guys said that she should be the one to last in the tournament.

She closes eyes and inhales deeply to calm herself. She sighs, "Fine. Just... promise me one thing." She says, looking at him. Lloyd nods his head. "You make sure to get a hit on Chen for me." She says. Lloyd smirks and nods his head. I look on ahead and use my powers to let the others know everything will be okay. We'll make it so. (And that is a promise!)

Jay's P.O.V.

"Work." The guy pushes me. Sheesh, you take my powers, now make me wear an orange jumpsuit while working in an underground factory, the least you could do is be polite. No, no. Think positive. "No, no. It's not work if you love what you do. The power of positive thinking." And I have to keep positive... or I'm gonna lose my mind. "Psst." Huh? I look in front of me and on the opposite side of the conveyor belt- "Cole?" It's him and- "Zane? Is that you? Ah, you look amazing!" (T'is them! 🖤🤍) I can't believe it! No, I can believe it. It's Zane, he's a nindroid, he always has a solution-"Not so loud." Oops. "They think we've escaped and don't know we're here." Cole explains.

"Why would you come back?" I whisper to them. "Because we're breaking everyone out." Cole answers. "Correction: we're building our way out." Zane says. He points at something and I look to see Karloff working on something covered by a tarp. "They think we're fixing the noodle machine, but we're fixing a roto-jet." Wait, what? "A roto-jet? But aren't we underground?" I ask. "That's what I've been saying." Cole says, hard emphasis in his tone. "What happened to positive thinking?" Karloff asks. Oh. Heh, heh. "No talking! And hurry up with that noodle machine." A guard shouts from above. "Okay, okay. It will be ready soon. When ready, noodles will fly out of here."Karloff says back. (Hehehehe~~~)

"Hey, do you know we're Kai is?" Cole asks. I turn to face him, "Last I head, he's getting the 'special' treatment." I inform. But then I feel something. I rest a hand in my chest as I feel... assurance. I smile and look to see Cole and Zane hold a hand to their chests too. "And something tells me payback is coming." I add.

Kai's P.O.V.

"A scale from the Great Devourer, Captain Soto's peg leg, a fog from the Celestial Clock, Zane's pink Gi, and this." "Whoa!" I jump back to avoid Chen swing a sword. "An Anacondrai sword." It looks to be made of bone with a purple crystal surrounding the blade. Chen had decided to show me his collection and does he have a collection. I keep my guard up and try to figure out how to get that staff from him. "The are the sharpest blade in existence," I sigh as he slices a banner. "fit for the greatest warrior to ever do battle in Ninjago." He puts it back. But I'm not enjoying the tour. "Why are you showing me all to this? You do realize if you weren't holding that staff right now, I'd strike you down right there." I tell him.

"Skylor was right. Even without your power, the fire burns bright in you." He says as we walk on. "Unlike you and my dear Skylor, who inherited her powers from her mother, I was never born with natural abilities." I yawn. How typical is this guy? "I was told I would amount to nothing. But I will show them they are all wrong!" He stops so I do too. "Look. I call it 'The Charge of the Dark Brigade.'" He says, pointing to a painting of an Anacondrai warrior. "It's beautiful, isn't it? The reds, the purples, the super dark purples. After I defeat your little green friend and take his powers, I will have all the elements I need to conjure a spell that will transform me and my worshippers into Anacondrai." So that's what he's planning.

"With you and your friends gone, nothing will stop me." He says. But he forgot one thing. "Except for one thing." I state. "Ooooh~ What is it?" He asks. "(Y/N) is stronger than you think. In fact, I bet she will easily beat you in ten seconds flat." I tell him. Chen became quiet, then he laughs. "Ah-Ha-Ha! Heh-heh-Heee. You think I have not done anything to her. She is just like her mother." (😧) I blink in surprise. "What? What are you talking about?" I question him. "Oh, (M/N) was truly a thorn in my side. All about 'protecting the balance' and 'doing what needs to be done for the good of all.' So, I wanted to get back at her for causing so many problems to me during the Serpentine Wars, along with outing me and having me be banished." He says.

He walks off and I follow as he stops at a chest. "When I learned about the crystal that stores elemental power, I decided to take said power from her. Using it for my desire while she was completely helpless to do anything. However, she is formidable and wouldn't be defeated so easily. But when I learned that she had a partner, a partner she loves with that gigantic heart of hers, I knew she would comply to not let anything happen to him. And when I heard she was weak, perfect timing!" He explains. Wait... He opens the chest and takes out a necklace. He holds it and I see that it is made up of purple and yellow gems with a changing color one in the center of them. (Recognize them?) "But when I sent my goons to get her, only one returned. Along with only having one eye remaining too." He says lowly. "Lover boy ended being played a little too hard and Miss Life ended up having her life go poof." He says. I stare at the necklace. "But he did bring me a little gift." He laughs.

(Y/N)'s father was a jeweler... He made that for her mother. Which means... Chen... (I think you all know. 😔) "But enough about that." I gasp, breaking out of my thoughts and see Chen put the necklace back in the chest. "I've seen inside your head." He taps my head. "I know you're still jealous Lloyd was chosen to be the Green Ninja. It could have been you." I stay quiet and look away from him. "Have you ever wondered what it felt like to have so much power pulsing through your veins?" I close my eyes as I try and shut him out. "Yes, you have. There is so much potential in you, Kai. I want to give you the chance to find it." I shove off his arm. "I will never turn on my friends." I state. "Of course. But what if I also told you there were secrets about your parents that your senseis never told you? Dark secrets." What? I step away. My parents. "My parents? What secrets?" So many questions that can be so easily answered." He says.

"Master, it is nightfall. The Green Ninja will be making his move shortly." Clouse says as he appears. "Think about it." Chen says. He and Clouse walk off and I am left with my thoughts. "Hmm..." I look at the painting again, but then I look at the chest. Lloyd is strong, but even I know he won't be able to beat Chen so long as he has that staff. I know what I need to do, and I'm gonna need help.

Third Person P.O.V.

Night had fallen, the full moon high in the sky. Nya, (Y/N), Lloyd and Garmadon are about to make their move. "Remember, destroy the staff and everyone's power returns. You came her to make your team whole. Finish the job." Garmadon states. Lloyd smiles and puts on his hood as does (Y/N). The two look at Nya and she holds up a crossbow, aiming it then pulls the trigger. The hook at the end makes it on a building over the wall and the four grab onto the rope as they zip-line. They let go and hide as a guard walks over. Lloyd appears behind him on the roof right as Garmadon kicks the guard. He is knocked out and Lloyd catches him. Nya jumps and lands in-between two guards and swiftly takes them out. One guard sees this and is about to alert others but gasps as something prevents him. (Y/N) appears behind him then elbows the back of his neck. He falls on his face and the translucent whispy purple plate disappears. (Should have kept quiet.)

The four meet up and enter the building where Chen is waiting. Nya opens a window and the all look inside. The hall being dark and foreboding but then carefully sneak down. However, Lloyd accidentally trips a wire and this causes the alarms to sound with the lights turning on. The guards slam open the doors and charge at them. (Y/N) steps forward and holds up her hands, a small light orb appears in the center of the guards then she closes her hands and it explodes. The guards all scream as they are blinded by the light, then grunt as Nya, Lloyd and Garmadon take them out. (Y/N)'s powers flare and she turns around to summon a wall to keep at bay the other guards. "There's too many of them." Lloyd says. "I'll hold them. You and Garmadon go find Chen, (Y/N) will find the others. Now, Go!" Nya says. (Y/N) hesitates for a moment but then drops the wall as she Lloyd and Garmadon run off, Nya holding her own against the guards.

They turn a corner, "Look out!" Garmadon exclaims as they all stop at seeing Clouse appear. Clouse summons dark magic shoots it at them, sending them back and landing on their fronts. "Go, you two. Leave Clouse to me." Garmadon tells his son and (Y/N) as they jump their feet. "Good luck." Lloyd says. "Your father doesn't believe in luck." Clouse says. "He wasn't saying that to his father." (Y/N) rebuttals. She and Lloyd go down another hall as Garmadon runs over and grabs a sword. Clouse grabs an Anacondrai blade. "Just like back in the training yard." Garmadon states. "Only this time, I refuse to lose!" Clouse exclaims, swinging his sword down only for Garmadon to block it. The two swing their blades at the other, Garmadon backs him away but Clouse cuts his blade. Garmadon backs away and tries to find something else.

Lloyd and (Y/N) keep running but end up falling through a trap door. Lloyd yells as he falls but (Y/N) grabs him and quickly hovers right before they hit the ground. She places Lloyd on his feet as she lands beside him. Lloyd sighs loudly, "Aw, Chen and his trap doors." He complains. (Tell me about it. 😒) A growl is heard throughout the tunnel. "Huh? Uh-oh!" Lloyd gasps. He and (Y/N) look to find the giant serpent's eyes glaring at them. "Lloyd. RUN." (Y/N) states, turning her body to face the large snake. "But-" "GO!" She tells him. "Lloyd!" Lloyd looks to see Kai leaning into the tunnel and holding a torch. "This way! Come on!" He calls out. Lloyd runs to him while (Y/N) stays to deal with the snake. "Ready for Round 2?" She asks it. The serpent hisses at her as he narrows his eyes. "I'll take that as a yes." She says holding up her right hand as purple electricity emits from it. (I'm betting my money on (Y/N). Anyone else? 💵)

Lloyd enters the entrance and Kai leads him. Lloyd takes off his hood, "Kai, you escaped. What happened?" He asks Kai. "I managed to slip free, but Chen took all our powers." Kai tells him. "If we can find them-" "There's no time. I have to stop Chen. Alone if I have to." Lloyd tells him. Kai then stops and looks back  at Lloyd with a guilty expression. "What? What is it?" Lloyd asks him. "I'm sorry, Lloyd." Kai says then blows out the fire, resulting in the room to become pitch black. "This will all make sense once it's over." Kai says.

Lloyd walks on and finds a flight of stairs. He walks up them and enters an area. "Kai? Kai, where are you?" Lloyd calls out. The room then lights up and it is revealed to be the bottom floor of the main building, the board now only having two pictures: Lloyd vs. Chen. "The final round. It all ends here." Chen announces, appearing before Lloyd with his staff in hand. "You! You turned Kai against me?" Lloyd says angrily as he accuses Chen. Putting on his hood as he readies to fight. "Like I said, only one can remain." Chen says.

Lloyd summons his powers and fires an orb of energy at Chen, who jumps away to dodge it. The orb causes a mini-explosion and Chen appears behind Lloyd via using the power of speed. "Oh, please. What use is one element when I have the rest?" Chen mocks Lloyd. "Shadow!" He vanishes. Lloyd looks around as he keeps his guard up. "I know what you're up to. The Anacondrai Wars are over. You're living in the past." Lloyd states, summing an orb of energy in his hand. "Wrong." Chen says and Lloyd backflips to avoid a fireball from hitting him. "I decide when it's over. And who doesn't like a blast from the past." Chen says as he throws his staff, twirls and catches it. "Ice!" He shoots ice at Lloyd who quickly jumps over to hide behind the board, freezing it instead.

Chen laughs and jumps in joy. "Fire." He blasts at the board and Lloyd yells as he flies from the explosion and grunts as he lands on his back. "When my followers become Anacondrai, Ninjago will be controlled by this who deserve it: The most powerful. Gravity!" He says then slams the bottom hai staff on the ground. "Whoa! Ooh!" Lloyd flails around as he is floated upwards. He ends up on the roof and groans as he sees the ground. Chen runs up the wall then jumps onto a lamp then jumps to land on the centerpiece on the roof, looking down at Lloyd. He then moves Lloyd to float in the center of the room. "What you have isn't power!" Lloyd shouts then gets slammed into lamps multiple times. "It's stealing!" He states, grunting as he is tossed against lamps once more. (Ouch. 😖)

He then falls onto the ground and groans as he lifts his leg up, Chen landing top of the board as he jumps down and Lloyd jumps away from him, getting on his feet. "Real power does to need to take from others." Lloyd states, he then does a flying kick at Chen but the man becomes smoke. Lloyd goes right though it and he slides on the ground as he hits the board. Chen laughs as he returns to normal. "Real power stops people like you." Lloyd says, pushing himself onto his feet then shots his powers at Chen. But Chen turns himself into metal and the energy orb is sent back at Lloyd. It hits him and Lloyd groans as he hits the board. He tries to get up but is too exhausted. Chen returns to normal, "Only one can remain." He states, laughing maniacally. Lloyd's tile is broken in half and falls off the board.

(Y/N) dusts her hands as she looks down at the down snake. "Can't handle the heat, can't handle the shock. Pitiful." She spats at it. She gasps as she feels Lloyd, feeling his exhaustion and pain. "Oh, no." She turns and makes her way to him it halts as guards appear. The point their spears at her and she summons her powers as purple whisps emit from her hands. "Unless you want to lose anyone else, I suggest not." Clouse appears as two guards appear next to him, holding Nya and Garmadon as they are unconscious. (Y/N) grits her teeth as she glares at the dark sorcerer, ready to hurt him and the goons, but closes her eyes and relaxes her jaw. The whisps disappear as she holds her hands up in surrender. "Wise decision." Clouse says mockingly. Guards walk up to (Y/N), cuffing her wrists behind her along with her ankles. She opens her eyes and glares at Clouse, "Coward." She insults. (😡)

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

Welp. I'm in chains. And due to the material they are made out of, my powers are not working. Is this stuff Vengestone? I hear footsteps approaching and I know who they belong to. I inhale deeply then stand up right as the door opens. Chen smiles as he holds his staff in his hand with Clouse standing obediently like a dog, and Skylor. "Time to visit some friends." Chen says. I say nothing as some of his goons grab my arms.

Soon we all entered a room with... Bones. Lots and lots of bones. (☠️) Nya and Garmadon are tied to poles with chains restraining them. "My pet loves the smell of fear." Clouse says. I swear if they were not held hostage, I would dropkick you, Clouse. "Where is my son? What have you done with-" "I have your son. But his power will become mine at the ceremony tonight." Chen tells Garmadon. I glare at Chen. "I'm sorry you didn't get an invite. I'm still a little hurt by my pupil deciding to betray me so long ago." Betrayal? Hmph. You're one to talk about betrayal, Chen. "But how did you defeat him?" Nya asks. "Oh, I had a little help." Chen answers. He then points to the entrance and Kai appears. Nya gasps in shock, but I remain calm. Kai stood next to Chen.

"You pitted the Ninja against themselves, just as you did the Elemental Masters." Garmadon spats at Chen. "Why, Kai? How could you do this?" Nya asks Kai. "Chen holds all the power. Lloyd alone never stood a chance. I had to think about what was best for us. He'll let you go if-" "I'd rather be snake food!" Nya states as she glares at Kai. Garmadon then grabs Skylor with his legs and pulls her close, holding his hand at her throat. "Untie us!" He demands Chen. But you know what he did? He laughs along with Clouse. "Or what? You've changed, remember? You're Sensei Garmadon. You're a good guy. Threats don't frighten me." Chen counters. Garmadon sighs and lets Skylor go, pushing her away.

But what Chen said... that got my blood boiling. "Don't underestimate threats." I speak up. "Especially from those whose family you have hurt." I look at Chen with a glare. He looks at me with a relaxed smile, but I continue, "You think you have all the pieces where you want them. That you know how to play others for your own benefit or amusement, even using your own daughter and gambling with her life. But I see now how truly PATHETIC you are." I step to him, but the goons hold me back. I don't let that stop me, "Even with all that power, you are weak because you stole them. And I will ensure your plan, your empire, your entire existence crumbles into nothingness as you are remembered as the failure of a human being you are and ALWAYS will be." I state. "And you made it my mission when you hurt my family." I conclude.

It became quiet. Then Chen chuckles. Seriously, I shake my head at his childish behavior. "Family? It- It's always family. Ooooh, you are just like your mother." He says. "Always so passionate and big talk about family. As I have said in that note, a heart so big is easy to strike." He says. "What are you talking about?" I ask him. "I would have had the power over life itself long ago, but your mother had some fight left in her." My heart sinks. I drop my glare as I stare at him. "What... did you just say?" You ask him. "Hmm. Oh, yeah. I sent my men to capture your mother by using your father as a bargaining chip once I heard she was weak. But only one returned, and got a shiny eyeball after." He... my parents...

"Right, Kai?" I look at Kai. He looks away from me and frown. Chen... Took my parents away. He... KILLED them. I look down, my heart racing. My parents... my family... "But the apple does not far fall from the tree, does it? You are exactly like her. And because of that, your power will now be mine." He... he's hurt my family. He... he took my parents from me. "(Y/N). I'm so sorry." My mother... she saved me. She protected me from HIM. And he is hurting my family AGAIN!!! "Grah!" I shout, feeling Chen try to take my powers. But I don't care. My eyes shut as memories play. "Hrrrgh!" Meeting Wu, the guys, Nya... fighting battles together, laughing, and bonding. Saving Ninjago... Garmadon cleansed of evil... My father's grave... hearing my mother's voice... "Aaah!" Lloyd, Jay, Zane, Kai, Cole... "Aaaahh!!" Nya, Wu, Garmadon... "Hurrr-Ah!!!" My.... Family. And Chen is going to take them away from me. Again... No. NOOOOOOOO!!!!

Third Person P.O.V.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!" (Y/N) let out a shriek of pure emotion and a massive wave of purple emits from her. It sends everyone back, the force being so strong it is sent throughout the island. (💔)

The people in the factory halt as they all felt something. A great emotional pain as they all wince and feel tears in their eyes. Cole wipes his face and looks to find tears. He looks over at Jay and finds he has cried as well. Zane lays a hand on his chest as he felt what they all had. The three share a look as they all held worry for the one that owns those feelings. (😢)

After a moment, everyone recovers. Chen grunts as he sits up and grabs his staff, but feels a wetness on his face and wipes it to find he was crying. But he was not sad. Clouse stands up and wipes away the tears he shed along with Kai and Skylor. Garmadon shakes his head as Nya pants from feeling the sudden surge of emotion. "What... What happened? Did I win?" Chen asks, slightly distorted. "You fool!" Garmadon shouts, enraged at the deranged man. "The Master of Life's power is tied to life itself. The bonds and connections made with others only strengthens it. You would have killed the holder for trying to take the power from them and have taken us with them!" He shouts.

Crying is heard and everyone looks over to find (Y/N) curled up on the ground. Tears streaming like waterfalls down her face as she sobs her heart out. (It hurt to write this. 😭) Kai looks at her with a frown, feeling immense sympathy for her. He has never seen her like this and it hurts to hear her openly sob in sadness, grief... and pain. Chen just sighs, "So, I can't have her power?" He asks out loud. "Oh well. It will be more delicious watching her lose her family again." Chen says. Kai looks at him and has look of hatred directed at the man, wanting to attack him but holds back. Though, he did glance over and see Skylor give an appalled expression at her father. The guards walk over and pick her up by her shoulders and legs, still feeling her emotion a little longer until it fades completely. (Y/N) is limped as she still sobs.

"My pet may be napping, but she's always hungry when she wakes up." Clouse says with a smirk at Garmadon and Nya. "You had a good run, Garmadon. But all good things must come to an end." Chen says as he Clouse make their leave. "You monster!" They stop as Nya shouts. "How could you be so heartless? You took away her parents and you just brush it off? She does not deserve this. She deserves to be happy because she cares so much and looks after others and... and..." Nya trials off as she realizes her actions. (Y/N) cares so much and hates seeing her friends fight each other. And did she care about how she hurt Jay along Cole and their friendship? She looks away as she feels shame. (Finally acknowledging your faults, huh?)

"Ugh, so emotional. Anyway, toodle-loo~~" Chen waves as he and Clouse cackle as they walk off. The guards follows after them with (Y/N) whimpering in their arms and Skylor follows along, looking at (Y/N) with sympathy and looks down as she thinks. Kai is about to follow them but Nya speaks to him, "This isn't you , Kai. Don't do this." She pulls on the chains. "Sorry, sis. This... This is the way it has to be." Kai tells her. But then he smiles as he gives her and Garmadon a wink. Once they were alone, Nya and Garmadon share a smile as they know Kai is still loyal to them.

Kai's P.O.V.

I hate what happened, but I can't let it blow yet. I hear sniffing and look to see (Y/N) still crying. Man, I hate seeing her like this. Chen is just awful, but he will pay. Big time. "Have the factory prepare a feast in honor of the ceremony, Clouse. I'm in the mood for noodles." Chen says, he and Clouse walk ahead. Perfect. I stop, reach out and grab Skylor's hand to have her face me. "This is how your father treats you? It doesn't have to be like this." I tell her. "But he has the staff. There's nothing I can do about it." She argues. "But what if I can? Lloyd, didn't stand a chance alone, but if Chen trusts me, I can get close to the staff and then-" "Why would you tell me this after I betrayed you?" She asks me.

"You spared me for a reason. And you know I'm far too fetching to resist." I tell her with a smirk. (😏) She smiles at me, but I become serious. "And I saw how you looked at Chen when he just dismissed (Y/N)'s feelings." I add. She frowns and looks away from me, and at (Y/N). I close my eyes as I remember (Y/N)'s scream. I open my eyes, "Just because you're afraid, doesn't mean you can't fight." She looks at me, "There is good in you, Skylor. You can still make things right." I tell her. She opens her mouth then looks away. And that is when I knew I can trust her.

Cole's P.O.V.

Zane and I keep a lookout as Jay works on the roto-jet. Karloff whistles and I signal to Jay to lower the tarp. He, Zane and I hide and we hear the guard say that they need a lot of noodles for a ceremony since Chen beat Lloyd. Karloff tries to keep him away from the jet but he is then punched into crates. Oh, that does it. "Give me that sheet. Huh?" The goon pulls off the tarp. "That's not a noodle machine!" He shouts. "Uh, that's the kink. Now!" Showtime. I make it on the catwalk and kick a guard off then hop into the pilot's seat. I activate the blaster and start shooting. I destroy the machines and maybe get a little trigger happy as I almost hit Jay. "Who-o-oa. Heh-heh." I stop the shooting and smile. (Got a little carried away, eh, Tiger?)

The guards then run at us and I'm giving a push as I fire again. I stop, "When will it fly?" I ask. Karloff hops on, "It will fly when it fly. No sooner." He says as he works on it. "It better. Because a lot of footsteps are approaching." I hear Jacob say and look to see more guards enter. "On the other side!" Jay exclaims and I'm turned to fire at the guards. "We'll run outta bolts trying to fend 'em off. Make her fly, Karloff, or get us out of here." I tell him. "No problem. Push red button." I do as he says and two missiles fire and blow the gates. Hah! I always hated looking at those things. But again, "This is why you don't make jets underground, Karloff!" I tell him. For as awesome as it is, it is still very dangerous! (Yeah, yeah. We get it. Keep firing! 😝)

"Behind you!" Karloff says, then we turn around and shoot another missile at the guards. That takes care of them. Now to stop Chen. Hold on, (Y/N).

Third Person P.O.V.

Drums are played as the ceremony starts. Goons bow and chant as Master Chen arrives with Clouse and Eyezor by his side with Skylor and Kai behind them. The goons holding (Y/N) and place her on her knees, she has stopped crying but her face is stained with tears. Lloyd is then brought in by two goons as they walk down the stairs. "Just look at us. We're escorting the big dogs now." Kapow says. "Heh. Like I said, Kapow and Chope moving up the ranks." Chope says. Them and Lloyd make it down the stairs and the two force Lloyd onto his knees as they bound chains on his wrists. Eyezor growls at them and they run off, dropping their staffs as they join the others and chant with them.

Kai walks up to Lloyd, "Why would you help them?" Lloyd asks Kai, exhaustion in his voice. "Don't worry." Kai says to him as he leans towards him, but Clouse then appears next to them. "It won't hurt, heh, that much." He covers up and chuckles evilly as he then walks to stand with Skylor. "All right, first thing's first. Daughter!" Chen orders. Skylor gasps and she looks at Kai, who give her a smile as he nods his head. She looks down and walks over to stand before her father, "I offer my power to you, Father." She says. Chen takes her powers and she groans in pain. "Only one can remain." Chen states. Lloyd frowns but then looks over at (Y/N) to see her sunken expression. His heart breaks at seeing his sister in such a state. He hates it.

With Garmadon and Nya, they try to get free of the chains but no luck. "Some help you are, Kai." Nya comments. However, they then see within the dark tunnel a pair of glowing dark pink eyes. The serpent hisses as it slithers to them. "Nya, it's karma. After personally destroying the biggest snake Ninjago has ever seen, it's only reasonable the second biggest would exact revenge on me." Garmadon says, (Talk about irony.) the snake entering the room as it hisses at them. Rising high and roars in Nya's face and she closes her eyes in fear as she turns her head away from it. The purple snake then looks at Garmadon and curls around him, looking at him with piercing eyes. It then looks down at Nya, she gasps as the serpent dives down to consume her and she closes her eyes.

But then an explosion happens. Rubbles are sent flying and hit the chains, releasing the two as they are sent forward. The roto-jet is pushed forward and missiles are fired at the snake. It hisses as it dodged them and hit the rocky ceiling. But one hits the part above the serpent and rubble falls onto it. The top of it is buried and its tail rises but soon falls limp, the snake is no more. (Finally. 😮‍💨) "Woo-Hoo! We did it!" Cole cheers as he hops out of the roto-jet and lands on the ground, helping Garmadon up. "Well hello, Master of Earth." Garmadon says, happy to see him. "Uh-Uh. Don't forget Master of Lightning." Jay adds as he appears. Nya smiles and runs, Cole and Jay hold up their arms but she passes them and hugs Zane. "Zane, you're back!" She exclaims in glee. "What? What is on my back?" Zane asks worriedly, looking at his back. Cole and Jay laugh as his seriousness. (Oh, Zane. I have missed you. 😁)

Cole hops onto the roto-jet and stands beside Karloff. "Karlof, why is this thing not off the ground yet?" He asks. "Two hands can only work so fast." Karloff replies. "Well you're gonna fix it Karloff, because you know why?" Cole says. "Sure." Karloff smiles. "Positive thinking!" Everyone says together.

Back at the ceremony, Skylor kneels down to catch her breath once her powers were completely stolen. She stands up and walks to the side as she holds a hand to her head. Kai reaches out to her but stays where he is. "And now for the final element." Chen states, walking up to Lloyd who gasps. (Y/N) hears him and turns her head to look, Eyezor keeps a hand on her shoulder to keep her in place. "Only one can remain." Chen states. He shines a light from his staff onto Lloyd, who groans as he tries to fight it but could not and screams as he his powers are taken. (Y/N)'s eyes widen and she moves to go to him but Eyezor prevents her, her being emotionally drained still. "Behold! Every elemental power, all in my control! Do you feel the power? I do!" Chen announces.

Clouse opens his book and starts chanting the spell, since it was reclaimed, placing his hand on the staff as his hand emits a dark energy. "All of you who bare the mark of the Anacondrai, it is time. We will shed our skins for new ones,and be the most powerful force in all to Ninjago!" Chen tells his minions as he stands to face them. Skylor and Kai then share a look and nod their heads. Skylor then walks up to Chen. "Father, let me stand beside you." She says. "Yes. Yes! Join me. After today, not only will Master Chen be Ninjago's number one noodle house, but Ninjago's number one ruler!" Chen shouts in excitement. Clouse continues the spell and the crystal glows brightly. Skylor looks back and Kai smiles. "It's time." He states in his mind. (*Cracks knuckles* 👊)

"Hey, Chen!" Kai shouts, getting Chen and Clouse to turn around to look at him. "You forgot one element. The element of surprise." He states. Skylor then does a jumping spin kick and knocks the staff out of Chen's hands. The spell halting and shocking Chen and his followers. (Surprise! 😈) Kai kicks Eyezor hard and takes out the key to free (Y/N) of her chains. "You betray me?!?" Chen yells angrily at Skylor. "Runs in the family." Skylor bites back. She quickly swipe his legs and cause him to fall on his back. Kai moves and grabs the staff. "Get him." Chen orders. Two goons grab Skylor and Kai shoots lightning at them with the staff, shocking them and they let go of Skylor. He frees Lloyd from his chains and (Y/N) moves to him, stumbling a little but moves forward. "That was all an act?" Lloyd asks surprised. "Don't worry. I had it all under control. Well, almost." Kai replies.

Clouse looks up to find Lloyd and (Y/N) directly under the snake statue and runs over to pull a lever. Venom falls from the fangs and Kai sees this, he quickly summons an energy orb to protect the two. Once they are safe, Kai makes the orb disappear right as Clouse is about to use magic on him. "Ice!" Kai freezes Clouse in a block of ice. Eyezor charges at him snarling, but, "Omph!" A translucent wall stops him and he slides off it and onto his back. A trapdoor opens underneath him  and he screams as he falls as the wall vanishes. Kai looks to find Skylor with her hand on the lever waving and smiling at him then sees (Y/N) with some purple whisps emitting from her hand. (Payback~)

Kai gives them both a wink. "Hurry, Kai. You just destroy the staff." Lloyd states, standing up and running over to Kai with (Y/N) beside him. However, Kai steps back, "Chen was right. This thing's awesome." His eyes glowing a sinister red. He starts shooting at the goons with different elements and (Y/N) pushes Lloyd to be behind her. "Kai, it holds too much power! Destroy it!" Lloyd exclaims. Kai's eyes flags back and forth as he becomes corrupted by the power held in the staff. "The power is corrupting him." Lloyd says as Skylor joins the two. "If we don't get that staff out of his hands-" "No one is taking my staff!" Kai states, his voice menacing and his eyes glowing red as he glares at them. Lloyd and Skylor step back in fear from Kai's behavior, but (Y/N) does not stand down. "You had all that power. Now it's my turn!" Kai states, but then he gasps as he regains his sense. "Ah, what am I saying?" His voice normal. "Nothing I don't already feel!" The power takes over again.

"Yes. Yes. Embrace the power!" Chen says as he watches from a distance. (Y/N) feels him and glares as she continues to stand before Kai. "I can't- I can't control it." Kai pants. "I don't want to control it! I should have been the Green Ninja!" He shouts. *SLAP* Everything halts. Kai blinks and looks at (Y/N) as she lowers her hand after slapping him in the face. (*GASP* 😯) "Get a hold of yourself." She tells him. Kai snaps out of it and pants as he tries to fight the control. "(Y/N), I-" "You will pay for that!" He shouts and summons a green orb to fire at her. "No, Kai. Don't!" Lloyd pleads. (Y/N) then gasps and looks up at the snake statue.

Right as it blows up. She summons a wave with her powers and pushes everyone away and jumps to safety as the giant rock lands on the ground. The roto-jet flies in along with the Elemental Masters appearing as they join the fight. "Did anyone order some kung pao?" Cole quips as he pilots the roto-jet. (Y/N) smiles at seeing him and watches as the masters fight against the goons along with Jay, Garmadon and Nya join the fight. She punches a room away and then see Zane as he grabs one goon and spins him around before tossing him away as he rolls into some others, knocking them down like bowling pins. She smiles widely at seeing him in-person. "Zane! Good to see you again, buddy." Lloyd says happily as he runs over to the nindroid. Zane stops his head from spinning, literally, and smiles at Lloyd. "And it's good to be back." Zane replies. (Indeed. 😊) (Y/N) smiles and kicks away another goon.

Kai grunts and pushes himself up, quickly looking around and sees the staff a small distance from him. He sees Chen and he makes a dash at the staff. Kai gets up and sprints at it as well. They both jump at it and Kai gets it. He rolls then stands and swings the staff down. "Nooooooo!" Chen shouts, right as the crystal shatters on the ground. (Y/N)'s vision changes as all the powers are returned back to their rightful owners. She smiles as their auras shine bright at their powers restored. The Elemental Masters also regain their clothes and accessories. Karloff regains his iron gauntlets as he turns his body into metal. "Now bad guys in big trouble!" He declares, pounding his fists together.

"Ninja-Go!" The Ninja exclaim as they all perform Spinjitzu. (They're back, baby! 💙❤️💚💜🤍🖤) They easily knock away the goons. "It always brings tears to my eyes when I see the old gang back together." Nya says, holding her hands out to her chest as she smiles at the team no reformed. The remains goons hold their hands up as they surrender. The Ninja stop spinning and (Y/N)'s vision returns to normal. However, she feels one element unaccounted for. Garmadon walks over to the now melted ice block and see Clouse's footsteps. He frowns at the fact they got away.

As for Chen, Clouse Eyezor, and some other goons that got away through the tunnels and a tied up Skylor. Clouse pulls a lever stylized like a snake to open a secret staircase. Chen growls angrily, "They have all the power!" He states as he walks down the stairs. "For now, Master. But not for long." Clouse tells his master as he follows as well as Skylor being forced to by Eyezor.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

They're safe. They're here. It's okay. They're okay. Firsts things first, we gathered the goons we captured and tied them up, they are our prisoners now. But some got away. Along with Chen. It boils my blood that I can't get back at him right this second, but for now. "Thanks for keeping your word, sister." Zane and I hug, me especially hugging tightly. I close my eyes as I feel him. He's here. He's really here. "Your family, Zane. I ain't losing mine for a long time." I tell him. I give him one last squeeze then pull away. I open my eyes and wipe away any tears that fell. Have to admit, his new look is shiny. And titanium? Very durable.

"Sooooo, are you good?" I turn around to look at Jay. I knew exactly what he was asking. I inhale deeply then sigh, "Honestly, I'm still processing everything." I answer, holding a hand to my head as I feel a headache forming. I feel a hand on my shoulder and look to see it is Cole. "You can tell when you're ready." He says. I smile and hug him. I feel him freeze but hugs me as well. "Hey, don't I get a hug?" I giggle and pull away from Cole to give Jay a hug. He happily accepts it and hugs back. (Hugs! Hugs all around! 🤗🤗🤗) I pull away after as we all stand together right as Garmadon appears. "No sign of Chen. And no sign of Skylor either." He informs. I feel Kai's worry for Skylor as my powers flare up. "If it weren't for her help, we would have control of the island. We'll find her, brother." Nya assures him. "It's funny. I came here to find an old friend." He says. Then Zane presses a button on his wrist and a familiar tune plays as he dances. Oh, man. That takes me back to when it was first revealed he is a nindroid. Everyone laughs as I smile. The fact that we not only found Zane, but that we have become whole again. My family is safe. But Chen...

"Oh, and one more thing." I hear Kai and see him gesture for me to follow him. I do and we stop at a distance from the others. "When Chen was showing me his collection, he showed me something I knew he couldn't keep." He takes out a necklace. It was made of yellow topazes, amethysts and had an alexandrite in the center. "It... It was made by your father for your mother." I gasp and look at Kai with wide eyes. "The only one of Chen's goons he to return took it, he kept it like a trophy. But it's not." He says. He holds it for me to take. My hands shake and I choke a sob, but take it and hold it up. "I'm so, so sorry, (Y/N)." I hear Kai apologize. I close my eyes as tears fall. Letting out a shaky sigh, my eyes open as I look at him. "Thank you." I thank him.

I hold the necklace in my right hand and use my left one to pull Kai in for a hug. He hugs back and we stay like that. I pull away and put on the necklace, tucking it safely under my Gi. "Oh, and sorry about slapping you." I apologize. "It's okay. I kind of deserved it." He says, scratching the back of his head. I smile at him and punch his shoulder playfully. "Come on." I say. We walk over to the others as Zane still dances. We can get Chen later, right now it's family time.
