(So so so so so SOOOOOOOOOOO sorry for the wait. I got caught up in some stuff, got distracted, was lazy but it is here! I hope you enjoy because I think it is the best chapter I have done yet. Okay, enjoy!)

The sky is now clear with then sun shining. I was currently meditating for I had to do something. When Lloyd said that we lost the fight, it means that the battle is still going. I inhale deeply then exhale slowly as I feel and see a familiar presence. I smile as I send them a message then open my eyes. I already feel the darkness infecting Ninjago but I still hold on to hope. I stand up and walk over to Lloyd and Dr. Julien. Lloyd's leg was not in the best condition and I did all I could with my healing, so now Dr. Julien is wrapping it in bandages. "Can I still fight?" Lloyd asks. "I'm sorry. That leg will take weeks to heal." Dr. Julien says to Lloyd, shaking his head. "We don't have weeks." Lloyd states, but then groans in pain. I frown in sympathy then kneel down and place a hand on his left shoulder. "You can't overwork yourself. It's only going to take longer to heal." I tell him.

Lloyd looks at me then down at the ground. "What about you with... you know?" He asks, still not looking at me. I then feel something in my back as I remember what happened at the Celestial Clock. I rub my right shoulder as I feel it ache. Or is that just in my head? Probably in my head. "Well, other than a new scar, I'm good." I tell him. I then remove hand from Lloyd as I remove my gloves, "But for every scar," I start as I then pull back my sleeves, "There is a victory won." I finish, showing the scars on my arms. Lloyd looks up and gasps. "Those scratches... and when you got hit by the Grundal..." He says. I look at him as he looks at me. "It's true they'd hurt. I got the ones on my left arm from standing up to some jerk while I was at the orphanage. And while it stung and I had to wear a sling, the hit from the Grundal was worth it to protect you and the guys." I say then pull down my sleeves and put my gloves back on.

"And the whole spear in the back thing was not my greatest moment, but I was saved by you guys." I cringe a little from the memory. "However, I'm still standing. And I'm not giving up on you, not on Ninjago, and definitely not on my family." I declare. He blinks and looks down, "Right. We keep going." He says, look at me again. I smile and nod my head. "You are truly a warrior, aren't you?" I look at Dr. Julien after he said that. "Naw. I'm a ninja." I correct. He smiles and nods his head. Him and I then help Lloyd as we stand and walk over to the others. They were talking about how we were stuck on the Island of Darkness. Lloyd groans as he hops on only one leg. "But I don't remember my father any other way." He says. "Your father loved you. It was the evil of the Great Devourer that corrupted him." Misako says to him. I looked down at the mention of Garmadon. Before the Overlord took over completely, the last thing I felt from Garmadon was his love for his son.

"Sensei," I look at Kai as he starts talking. "I don't understand. The prophecy said the Green Ninja would defeat the Dark Lord." He says then tosses a rock into the water. "Why didn't we win?" He asks. "I... don't know." I look at Master to find him with a lost expression. "Don't know? Your Sensei! You always know. You have a long white beard!" Jay says, sounding surprised from hearing Master say he doesn't know. I mean, the guy is a walking fortune cookie. "There must be some message to learn. A lesson. A word of wisdom. Just a word? Something." Kai urges. I can feel how he refuses to accept defeat. "For once, I'm afraid there is nothing to learn. Only that evil has won." What? I look at Master with a disbelieving look.

"WHAT?" I say. I'm carefully remove myself from Lloyd as I walk around them and stood in front of the group, hands on my hips as I give them a challenging look. "'Nothing left to learn.' 'Evil has won.' That doesn't sound like the Wu I know." I start. Everyone looks at me with surprise. "What is this? What is this I am looking at? This isn't the people I've come to know. The team I have fought and won many fights with." I cross my arms but then feel something. I uncross my arms and dig into my Gi. "Uh, (Y/N), you're not alone." I ignore Jay as I then take out my drawings. I blink in surprise. Oh, man I completely forgot about these. Looks like my powers protected them because they were perfectly fine. That's when an idea hit me.

I present them to the group. Zane then takes them. "Back to before the Monastery burned down, I started drawing. It was a way to calm my mind, but it always revolved around you guys." I state. I see them share and look at the drawings. "Because it was the only thing on my mind when I drew them. Maybe because you guys were the only ones I hang around, but it was actually because I felt like I was starting to feel like I was a part of... a family." I close my eyes as I remember all the memories I made with them. Wu, Cole, Kai, Jay, Zane, Lloyd, Nya... I have come to see them as... as a family. Misako and Dr. Julien have become a part of that too.

I open my eyes as I look at them with a determined spark and they look at me. "We lost a fight, but the battle is not over. We are still here. There's still hope. I made the mistake of not having it before. Never again." I declare.

Lloyd's P.O.V.

I look at the drawing of when me and the team won the Ninja Ball Run. I see my dad in the background. I close my eyes as I remember what happened to him but then become determined. I open my eyes as folded up the paper and put it away. "(Y/N)'s right. And if Sensei doesn't have a lesson, then I do. I use to be nothing but trouble," I start, removing my arm from Dr. Julien as I turn around and hop forward, "but then I met you guys. You took me in. Showed me the importance of being brave, the importance of being strong. And most importantly, being good." I put my right foot down, but groan a little in pain. I lift it up and hop as I turn around. "When this battle first began, when the First Spinjitzu Master fought the Overlord and his back was up against the wall and he knew it was all over, did he quit? No." I say, hopping to the team. "He found a way to keep the fight going." I grab Jay and Cole and pull them up to stand. "He passed his elemental powers to us. Of all people, a bunch of kids. But there must have been a reason he chose us. I'd like to think it's because he knew we'd never back down, we'd never give up." I state.

"We've learned the ancient ways of the ninja. And ninja never quit." I finish. I look at (Y/N) to see her smiling at me. She nods her head and I smile back at her as I give her a nod back. "He's right. If that means we have to swim the sea to get off this island, then so be it." Kai says, he walks into the water. Uh, I don't think any of us can swim that far. "The entire ocean? But I didn't bring my floaties." Really, Jay? "Well, if you got a better plan." Cole says. "I don't, but he may." Zane says then points at something. I follow and see that it's his falcon. "Ooh, the falcon. He must have found something." Dr. Julien says. "Well, that bird has always lead us to things that brought good fortune. Let's follow him." (Y/N) says. I smile, there is still hope.

Third Person P.O.V.

Upon following the Falcon, they soon realized it was leading them to the Temple of Light. Everyone hopped onto Kai's mech as the Fire Ninja pilots it to climb up the mountain. Kai then arrives and hops onto the ledge. "You brought us back to the Temple of Light? I do not understand. We've already been here." Zane says, confused as to why the Falcon would lead them here. He and the others hop onto the ground and walk up to the temple. "This location, I've seen this before. I just never understood it." Misako says. She looks at a scroll in her hands as the drawing shows of the elements blades and something in the center of them.

The group then enters the temple and look around for anything. "Soooooo, what now?" Jay asks. (Y/N) thinks for a moment as she raises a hand to her chin. "Misako, can I take a look at the scroll?" She asks. Misako nods her head and (Y/N) walks over as she grabs one side of the scroll to she examine the drawing. She notices the blades facing certain directions and the thing being in the middle of them then looks up to look in the temple and sees the pillars. "The pillars. Check them out." She says.

Kai walks over to one of them and uses his blade to remove a spider's web. He waves it off then looks at the pillar to find a keyhole of some kind. "I think I found something. It's just like the map." He says, then inserts the blade into it. The inside of the keyhole glows upon the blade being fully inserted. The rest of the guys walk over to the other pillars and find keyholes on them as well. They take out their blades and insert them in. The Temple of Light startle to rumble. "What is this?" Kai questions. Lloyd, (Y/N), Wu, Misako and Dr. Julien then step away as the center panel moves as something rises from the hole. "Cool." Jay breathes out in amazement at the sight before him.

The sight is an ancient mech suit that is white and gold with a bamboo hat headpiece. "It is the fighting suit the First Spinjitzu Master used when he battle the Overlord." Misako informs as the mech stops rising after fully emerging. "You mean, the First Spinjitzu Master once sat here? Ha, ha! Get out of here!" Cole fanboys a bit as hops into the seat of the mech. "How do you make this thing work?" He asks. "Sadly, I think time has done her in. She's only a relic now." Dr. Julien says, noting its age with some rust on it. "But still, even with its inactivity, it must still have some power left. And to be honest, the fact that the guy who created Ninjago had one of these is just freaking awesome. Man was ahead of his time." (Y/N) says, placing her hands on her waist as she looks at the mech in amazement.

"If it worked for the First Spinjitzu Master," Wu starts as he walks up and touches the mech, "perhaps it will work for the next Spinjitzu Master." He finishes, looking at Lloyd. "It's worth a shot." Lloyd says. (Y/N) then summons a platform for him to stand on. "After you." She says, presenting it with a wave of her arm. Lloyd gives her small smile a then steps onto it. (Y/N) then rises the platform and stops it as it reaches the seat. Cole climbed out of the seat, "Hey, watch out." He calls out as he then jumps and lands on his feet with no problem. Lloyd then sits in the seat and (Y/N) makes the platform vanish. Lloyd then fiddles with one of the controls humming as he tries to make it do something. "Nothing." He says. But then the mech started to glow. "Whoa!" Lloyd exclaims as the mech moves. The mech now stands at its full height as it straightens its legs and a golden glow emits from it. "Whoa-Ho!" Cole wows at it.

The mech then rises up the hand that wields a large sword. "Looking good!" "Aww! Killer!" "Amazing!" Kai, Jay and Zane compliment as they look at the now active mech. "How does the leg feel now?" Wu asks Lloyd. The mechs leg lifts as fire emits from the bottom of it. "Stronger." Lloyd answers with a smile. The leg slams back down on the ground as Lloyd raises its arm so that sword faced the ceiling, the sword's blade emitting a bright glow. "Well, I know how he is getting to Ninjago, but what about us?" Misako says.

(Y/N) blinks as she feels a familiar presence approaching fast, making her smile. "Oh, I already took the liberty in getting us a ride." She says, turning to look back right as a roar was heard. "I know that sound." Jay says as he turns around along with the rest of the group as another roar was heard . "It's our dragon!" Jay cheers. He then gives (Y/N) a hug. "Oh, you are a blessing!" He says. (Y/N) rolls her eyes but does not push him away as she smiles. "I believe we just found our way off this rock." Wu states, stroking his beard.

Ultra then arrives as the others run out and cheer at the sight of the four-headed dragon. "Now, let's go save our home and kick the Overlord's butt." (Y/N) states. She, the guys, Wu, Misako and Dr. Julien all hop onto Ultra as Lloyd activates the thrusters of the mech. They then took to the skies as they race to Ninjago. The guys cheer and Lloyd chuckles as they enjoy the feeling of flight. (Y/N) lays a hand on the dragon, "You are the best boys." She tells them with full sincerity. (They really are~) "I see Ninjago. We're not far away!" Kai exclaims, pointing at a spot of the clouds which was dark purple. "Oh, you sure that's Ninjago?" Cole asks Kai, the dark purple making him skeptical. (Y/N)'s head snaps up as she feels the immense amount of darkness and evil they were approaching. "It is." She confirms.

Lloyd then flies pass them within the the mech. "Wow." Cole breathes in amazement. "He learns fast." (Y/N) comments. Lloyd then dives down into the clouds and Ultra follows after him. Lloyd then emerges out of the clouds to find Ninjago which were dark and shrouded the land in darkness. Ninjago City was also depleted of color and the tallest building had a soft dark purple glow emitting from the top of it. Lloyd steadies the mech to hover as he looks at the building. Ultra hovering next to him as the team looks at the glow. "What is that thing?" Kai asks. "Garmatron." Wu answers. Everyone looking down to find the base of the building heavily guarded. "It's turned into a fortress?" Misako questions. "But where's the Overlord?" Dr. Julien asks.

(Y/N) looks at the glow on top of the building. "He's right there." She says in a low tone, pointing at the glow. She then places her hands onto Ultra to steady herself, feeling the pure evil from the Lord of Darkness. "He's almost done with the metamorphosis. It's.... It's SUFFOCATING." She musters out, holding hand to her chest as she feels her heart beat fast from feeling the evil of the Overlord. Lloyd then dives down and Ultra follows after him.

The group found a spot without gaining attention then everyone except Lloyd hops off Ultra. Kai, Cole and Jay looked around a building to see some people walking without life as they are without color except for their eyes which were glowing a dark purple. "He's turned everyone evil." Kai says. "Oh, just like Nya." Jay states. "And now they're helping his cause." Cole adds. He and Jay then step back while Kai turns around. "I can't wait to see the look on the Overlord's face when he gets a load of us." Cole says. But then a roar was heard and everyone looks to see what made it. "Oh... My... Goodness." Jay says in shock. The Overlord now stood tall as his transformation is complete. He sends a dark purple smoke at them. "Oh, sweet mother may I." Jay says frozen on the spot. "Look out, Jay!" He blinks as Kai shouts.

Everyone braces for the smoke. However, nothing happened. They then look to find (Y/N) holding up a shield to protect them. The smoke then fell to the ground and (Y/N) steps back quickly as the smoke became a goo-like substance while also releasing a sizzling sound. "Is that the look you were hoping for?" Zane asks. "Zane-No." Jay tells him. "The metamorphosis is complete. The Overlord's change to his original form." Misako informs. "That is the Overlord's original form?" (Y/N) asks in disbelief. "A dragon, huh? Talk about irony." She then comments. "We can't fly up there." Cole says. "We have my father's golden mech. We have to draw their fire to help Lloyd use the mech against the Overlord." Wu states. "We hear you loud and clear." Cole responds.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

Okay. I hate, hate, hate, hate, HATE... all the evil I am feeling, but I can't let that stop me. We all hopped onto Ultra while Lloyd remain back. "Fly, you magnificent beast! Fly!" I order. Ultra roar and takes off. "Everyone, hold on tight!" Cole exclaims as we then approach the fortress. I narrow my eyes as I feel the anticipation of the Stone Army to start attacking. My eyes widen and I grab the reins from Master. "Hold on!" I shout as fireballs are launched at us. I pulls on the reins and Ultra obeys as he dodged them while everyone screams. "Look out." I hear Cole exclaim as Ultra did a barrel roll. He then flies closer but then flaming arrows are shot at us. "Pull up! Quick, pull up!" Shoot! I pull back on the reins and Ultra flies up, avoiding the arrows. "Phew!" I sigh out.

"Nice flying, (Y/N)!" I hear Jay compliment. I then give the reins back to Master. "Nice flying indeed." He says, smiling at me. I nod at him then look down at the army as Ultra flies above them. "The Stone Army is protecting its master. They will never let Lloyd get close." Misako says. "Then we need to get close." Master states. I then feel Lloyd and look down to see him running towards the fortress. He draws the sword of the mech then swings it down and breaks through the barrier. I smile in pride, "He broke through!" I exclaim. He easily took care of some warriors with one swing of his sword,  it then the mech was shot at. I gasp as the mech lost a an arm then look to where the shots came from. Nya.

She continues to shoot at him and the mech falls. "Lloyd!" I shout then jump off Ultra. "(Y/N)!" I hear the others but focus on Lloyd. I dive down and move to have my feet first. I land and send out a powerful wave of my powers that force the warriors back. I stand up straight then hurry over to Lloyd. "You okay?" I ask him, helping him up. I turn around and see more warriors charge at us. "Ninja-Go!" I look up to see the guys jump and land in front of us, blades out and ready. I hear Lloyd sigh, "I'm okay." He says. "Yeah, but are we?" Jay says. I then take out my fans and open them, assuming fighting stance as I cover my fans with my powers. "Let's find out." I state.

Third Person P.O.V.

The Stone Army surrounds the Ninja just as the Overlord shoots another purple smoke. It then falls towards the Ninja. "Ice!" Zane exclaims as he shoots ice, creating a barrier that protects them from the darkness. "Good job, Zane!" Jay says to him. But Nya then fires at the ice and it shatters. "Fire!" Kai exclaims as he shoots fire that cancels out the lasers shot at them, creating an explosion that everyone shields themselves from. It then fades and the Stone Army advance towards them. Nya grunts as she moves the up the stair case.

As the army moves towards them, (Y/N) then throws her fans and they every warrior they hit, leaves a scratch. They grunt and growl from the hits but keep advancing. (Y/N) summons her fans back as she then forms a shield around to keep herself and the rest of the Ninja safe, but winces as the warriors bang on it. "I know we've always drawn a crowd, but this is ridiculous." Jay say. (It really is.) How can you be making jokes at a time like this?" Kai questions him, jumping a little as a warrior bangs the shield. "Trying to keep us from being swarmed here, so how about less arguing?!?" (Y/N) snaps at them. "Sorry. I'm just saying that if I'm going down, might as well go down laughing." Jay says. "If this is how we're going to go down, I am proud to be fighting alongside my brothers and sister." Zane proclaims. "Hear, hear." Cole agrees. "Same. Augh!" (Y/N) grunts as she feels a stab in her chest, the shield disappears and the guys quickly get to work on pushing back the warriors.

"(Y/N)! What's wrong?" Lloyd asks her, holding her up as she holds a hand to her chest. (Y/N) takes deep breathes to try and calm herself. "It's the balance. The Overlord's evil is starting to become too much." She says. But then she stands on her own, "But I'm not going down yet." She declares, and the punches a Stone Warrior without her powers.

Elsewhere, Ultra lands on a nearby building and roars as he turns around to look down at the battle. Wu, Misako and Dr. Julien watch from on his back as they worry for the Ninja. "We need to go back and save them." Wu states. "There are too many." Misako says then looks up and notices something. "Look!" She points, Wu and Dr. Julien look up and at the Overlord. "His helmet must have fallen off during his transformation." Misako says. "What does that mean?" Dr. Julien asks her. "He who wears the helmet, controls the army." She informs. "What?" Wu says, surprised at the information. "It was written in the scroll. What if the helmet is more than just the key to the clock? What if that helmet is the reason Garmadon was able to control the Stone Army in the first place? If we can get to that helmet, we could stop the army." She states. "What are we waiting for??" Dr. Julien ask rhetorically and Wu snaps the reins, making Ultra fly off to search for the Helmet of Darkness.

As he flies off, a smoke of darkness follows them while the Ninja continue to fend off the Stone Army. "Keep fighting! Unh!" Never give up!" Lloyd states as he kicks away some warriors swords. "Ninja never quit!" Kai exclaims. "Ninja-Go!" The Ninja exclaim as they perform Spinjitzu and knock away Stone Warriors. Nya then fires at them and this makes them stop doing Spinjitzu as they are sent back and land on their backs. (Y/N) growls in frustration, "I know it's the evil goo, but I am REALLY having my patience be tested right now." She growls. The guys lift themselves up and Jay quickly blocks a swing from a warrior. "We're doomed, guys." Jay says worriedly.

Ultra was able to avoid the dark smoke and the Helmet of Darkness was spotted. "There it is." Misako says. Wu orders Ultra to fly at it but then someone appears and picks up the helmet. "Ah, finally, a little protection for my noggin." It was Darreth, who was not infected with evil. "Wait!" Misako shouts, but it was too late. "Eh, what?" Darreth ask as he finished putting on the helmet. The headpiece then glows as it responds to its new owner.

The Ninja group together as the Stone Army has them completely surrounded and right as they wing their swords at them, they froze. It was silent and the Ninja sigh in relief from the miracle. Kai stands up and removes his hood, "What happened?" He asks. (Y/N) stands up and removes her hood as she pants a little, "I don't know. They stopped and I'm relieved." She groans, grateful for the miracle. "They are frozen." Zane state, he and the rest of the Ninja standing up and removing their hoods. "All hail the Brown Ninja!" Kozu shouts, pointing with his sword in his right arms at Ultra. "What do you command?" Kozu asks his new master. "Brown Ninja?" Jay says in surprise. "Heh-heh. What's up, fellas?" Darreth greets as he stands next to Wu, his hands on his hips in a hero stance. Ultra lowers onto the ground and the Stone Army make way as the dragon lands on the ground. "Looks like we all know who's in command now." Darreth proclaims.

"The helmet controls the army. Well done." Cole realizes. (Y/N) sighs in relief, "Of all the people to have found it, I'm glad that it's a friend. And way to live up to your title, Brown Ninja." She says with a smirk. Darreth winks at her as after she said that. (No, he's not flirting with her he just respects her. And fears her a little. So don't get any ideas.) "That means a lot coming from you, fearsome Purple Ninja." He says. "Oh, that means now we stand a fighting chance." Jay says, now realizing that the Stone Army is on their side. "I need to get to the top of that fortress." Lloyd states as he points up at the top of the building the Overlord is on. "I may not be able to get there by myself, but with your help, I can face him." He says, looking down as his injured foot then at the Ninja. The guys smile then hold their blades together above Lloyd and (Y/N) surrounds the blades with purple star dust. "Ninja-Go!" The exclaim, a bright light shining from the combined powers.

Darreth walks up to them as he looks at the swords in awe. "Where'd you get those? I want one." He says. Kai looks at him with a smile as he and the guys pull their blades away. "You too, Brown Ninja. Today, you're one of us." He tells him. Darreth gasps in shock but smiles as Kai gives him his elemental blade. "Shall we do it once more, just for old time sake?" Kai offers. "Ninja-Go!" Darreth exclaims, holding the blade up. The Overlord then growls from a top  the building as he looks down and finds his army no longer his. "Army! About face!" Darreth orders. The Stone Army grunts as they form up. "Stone Army, gooooooo!" Darreth exclaims, pointing Kai's elemental blade at the stairs. The Stone Army roars as they run up the stairs, but Nya was waiting  and laughs as she fires at them. The army falls and lands on the ground. "You better get this back." Darreth tells Kai as said person stands next to him and takes back his blade. "Let's help them out." Misako says and Wu snaps the reins, making Ultra take flight. Nya then focuses on firing the dragon, but Ultra got hit on his tail and he roars in pain. "We're hit!" Misako shouts. "We have to land. This is as far as we can go." Wu states, he then forces Ultra to land and avoiding another smoke of darkness.

The Ninja were making their way up, Cole and Jay helping Lloyd while (Y/N) walks in front of them and Kai and Zane leading. "Look out!" Jay yells as he pulls Lloyd away as Cole gets hit and is now being engulfed in evil purple smoke. "NO!" (Y/N) shouts and reach out to him. "Don't!" She stops as Cole shouts, he grunts as he bends over to fight back but it is useless. "Cole, come on. Get up." Lloyd says to him, hoping to not lose one of his friends. "Ugh! I'm hit! Go!" He tells Lloyd. Go on without me. Ugh." He grunts and Lloyd places a hand on his shoulder. (Y/N) closes her eyes as she blocks out his the feeling of the evil infecting Cole. She opens them as she makes a fierce expression. "Let's go! Now!" She orders and moves over to help Lloyd as she and Jay help him up the stairs. Cole opens his eyes as they are now are glowing dark purple while the others hurry up the stairs.

The Overlord roars once more as he watches them then sends another dark smoke at them. Jay looks up and quickly pushes Lloyd and (Y/N) away from him right as he is engulfed in the smoke. "Jay!" Lloyd exclaims. Kai and Zane turn back to see Jay having been hit. "Get out of the way!" Jay tells them. (Y/N) forces herself to look away from him, "Go! Don't look. Keep moving!" She states. "She's right. Keep climbing!" Kai backs her up, moving to help her with Lloyd as he and the remaining Ninja move forward. "From my calculations, with the distance remaining to the top, the odds are that only one of us is going to make it." Zane calculates. "Then let's beat the odds! Let's-" "Trouble!" (Y/N) interrupts Lloyd as she senses presences behind them. The group stop and look back to find Jay and Cole growling as they walk up the steps, blades out and ready to attack. "Go on. I'll hold them back." Zane tells Kai, (Y/N) and Lloyd. They nod and continue upwards as Zane remains and equips his blade as he blocks the attacks of Jay and Cole.

Kai and (Y/N) hold onto Lloyd as the three continue onwards but as they round a corner, they hear Nya laughing land look up to find her at the top of the stairs as she readies to fire. "Nya!" Kai exclaims as he sees his corrupted sister. "I'm gonna draw her fire so you two can make it to the top." Kai tells Lloyd and (Y/N). Nya then fires at them and (Y/N) thinks quick as she summons a shield. She winces as she tries to keep it up, but it starts to crack with every hit it takes. "Go! NOW!" She shouts. "No don't! We can do this together." Lloyd calls out to Kai, but right as the shield shatters, the Red Ninja summons his blade as he blocks the lasers. "No. There's only one Green Ninja. This is your fight." Kai tells him. "We need to go." (Y/N) softly tells him. Lloyd frowns but nods his head as he and (Y/N) then continue going up the stairs. "You're hurt, hardly stand a chance." Nya taunts as she prepares to fire at them, but Kai jumps her and causes the machine to short circuit as it falls onto the stairs. "Go, Lloyd!" Kai exclaims.

(Y/N) and Lloyd continue upwards but then she feels the corruption of her friends. She stops and Lloyd looks at her, "(Y/N), come on." He says. She pushes him forward, "No, they're coming. I have to make sure they don't interfere with your fight." She tells him. Lloyd looks to find the top just one staircase away. "But we're so close." He says, grabbing (Y/N)'s arm. (Y/N) gives him a serious look, "Listen, Lloyd, the Green Ninja is to face the Overlord alone." She tells him. She then looks back to find Kai already being infecting with darkness by Nya. She looks at Lloyd and feels with her powers that he is scared. "What if... What if I'm not strong enough?" He asks her, starting to feel scared. (Y/N) gives him a sympathetic look but then smiles as she moves her arm out of his grip and holds his hand. "Think of it like a bad dream. What is the first thing you do when you wake up from a bad dream?" She asks them. Lloyd then looks at their conjoined hands as a soft light is then formed within them. (Y/N) removes her hand to reveal a small orb of light in his palm, highlighted with purple and green. "You turn on the lights." (Y/N) tells him. (Can you guess this reference? 😏)

Lloyd looks up at him as she steps back. "Now, go." She tells him. She then turns around to find Cole, Jay, Zane, now corrupted, Kai and Nya walk up the steps. Lloyd closes his eyes but then opens them as he turns around and hops up the steps. He stops before he made it to the top and looks down at the orb of light, but then it moves and enters his chest. He gasps softly as he feels strength surge through out his body. He closes his eyes then opens them as he forms a determined face, along with renewed vigor.

Lloyd's P.O.V.

It's time. I hop and I finally make it to the top. The Overlord turns to face me as I stare him down. He roars and I put on my hood. "I have come here to fight you!" I tell him. "You're in no shape to fight. It's over. Evil wins." He says. "A ninja never quits." I respond. He just laughs but I am not deterred. "You don't even have a sword." He says. "I don't need a sword." I state, holding my hands together as I summon my powers then surround myself in an orb. "Then all I have to say is... Goodbye." He says, then reels his head back and fires at me. I stand firm as my orb keeps me safe, but I feel myself be pushed back.

I look back and scream a little from how I am almost pushed off but stay strong as I focus back on the Overlord. I then remember everything that had led up to this. And everyone that is a part of it. My friends, my uncle, my mom, my sister.... My father. I feel the warmth from the orb (Y/N) gave me. My family. I summon more power and start to float as my orb becomes bigger then... I feel it. I feel the Golden Dragon.

Third Person P.O.V.

Misako, Wu and Dr. Julien watch on the ground as they still remain on Ultra. "He has become the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master." Misako says with a proud smile on her face. "This is the Final Battle." Wu states.

Lloyd now floats in front of the Overlord as he now wears a Gi that is gold and reflective with some gold particles surrounding him. His injury was now fully healed as well. "I am the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master." He proclaims. The Overlord stares him down as Lloyd assumes a fighting form. "NO!" The Overlord exclaims as he swipes a claw at Lloyd. He swiped his other claw but the Golden Ninja kicks it away. Lloyd was then kicked back but then pushes the Overlord back. He delivers a kick to the Overlord's chest that, upon impact, causes a wave of gold to emit from it. "No!" The Overlord exclaims, as he is pushed off the building. Darreth watches from the ground and gasps at what he is seeing. A golden light then shines and Lloyd now rides on the Golden Dragon, created from his powers as it then roars loudly. "Awesome." Darreth breathes out in awe.

"You can't defeat me." The Overlord says to Lloyd as he flaps his wings to fly. "Where there is light, there will always be shadow!" He states. "Unless my light is bright enough!" Lloyd responds. He then has the Golden Dragon attached for itself to the Overlord, surprising the dark being as he stops flying and falls down. Darreth braces himself as he covers his head, bracing for impact. But instead feels a strong gust and looks up to find the Golden Dragon and Overlord fly into the air. (Y/N) watches the two as she holds back the others as they too watch along. Wu, Misako and Dr. Julien watch in anticipation at who will win.

"This... Ends... NOW." Lloyd states as he glares down the Overlord. "You can't defeat me." The Overlord retorts. He then starts to fly around Lloyd as he encases them in an orb of darkness. Darreth, Wu, Misako and Dr. Julien watched in worry for Lloyd while (Y/N) has a calm expression. "You can do this, Lloyd. Remember. Turn on the lights." She says mentally, she is then swarmed by her corrupted friends but remains calm.

Within the orb of darkness, the Overlord appears. He is now bigger and he laughs manically as he looks down at Lloyd. However, Lloyd remains undeterred as he glare down the Overlord. The Lord of Darkness then shuts his mouth, with Lloyd in it. But then, beams of gold light emit from his mouth. "No. No! NO! NOOOOOOOOO!!!" The Overlord cries out as Lloyd shines his power. The orb of darkness vanishes as does the building and the clouds that shrouded the land in darkness. The sun shines down and the people then wake, now free of the evil that infected them.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

Uuuuuugggggghhhhhhhh. What happened? I open my eyes but blink from the brightness. Brightness? "You did it!" My vision clears and I look to find Darreth looking down at me. He helps me up and I look around to see light in Ninjago. "We did it." I mutter. "Yes! You did it! I did it! We did it!" Darreth laughs as he hugs me. "We did it." I repeat as I remembered what happened. Ultra then flies down and I feel Darreth stop hugging me as we walk over. "Is this really happening? We did it?" Dr. Julien says as he lands on the ground. "We did it. You did it. I did it! Heck, who didn't do it?" Darreth says as we make ourselves known. I see the guys and Nya, evil-free. I smile as I run over and hug Cole and Zane. "Whoa! Nice to see you too." Cole says. I hug them tightly then pull away as I smile widely. "Happy to be back, sister." Zane says.

"Yeah. But where's Lloyd?" I stop smiling as I look over at Kai after he said that. But then my powers flare up and I smile as I look up. "Right above you." I answer. "Lloyd!" Lloyd lowers down then hops off the Golden Dragon as it vanishes and I walk over to him. "You were brilliant, son." Misako says as she Master and I meet with Lloyd. "Because of you, Ninjago was saved. Because of you, there will be a tomorrow." Master says to Lloyd as he then meets with us. I walk up and hug him. He hugs me back and I lay a hand on the back of his head as I close my eyes, relived to know he and everyone else is okay. I then pull away and look at him, "Told you. You just had to turn on the lights." I tell him. Lloyd smiles at me, "I know." He responds.

"Speaking of which," I look over at Kai as he starts to talk. "if the Overlord should ever decide to show his face again around here, we'll be ready." He states. "And next time, we'll be a little more humble." "And a little more wise." Cole and Zane add. "And with better catchphrases." Jay jokes. We all laugh from it but then I look over at Lloyd and see him frown. I stop laughing and frown as I lay a hand on his shoulder. "Lloyd?" He remains silent. I look up as Misako walks over. I remove my hand from Lloyd and step aside. "We will all miss your father." She says, gently rubbing his head to comfort him.

Oh. Garmadon. I lower my head as I remember what happened to him. But then my powers flare up as I feel something. No... someone. I raise my head and look back, only to gasp at who I see. He walks towards us with a slight limp. It... It's.... "Lloyd." He says. (He's back. 😌) His skin was no longer pitch black, his hair was gray and resembles Lloyd's style, and has wrinkles on his face. "What... What happened?" I don't feel it. The evil that courses within his veins... is gone. "Garmadon, is it really you?" I hear Misako ask, sounding breathless and in disbelief. "It is." I answer. "Dad? Oh, Dad!" I hear Lloyd cry out in happiness as he runs towards his father and hugs him, his father hugs him back.

Misako walks over to them. "Every ounce of evil and venom is gone." She says, hugging him and her son. "I feel... good. Ha-ha. It's been so long." I smile at the joy I feel from Garmadon. "Good to have you back, brother." Master walks over to them. "Wu. Good to be back." Garmadon says as he walks to Wu as they lay a hand on each other's shoulders. Garmadon then looks over at me. I jump a bit then stand straight as he walks over to me. He has a smile on his face as he then stops and lays a hand on my shoulder. "Thank you, for looking after my son." He says. I smile at him as I relax, "He's my brother, and I'm his sister. And you... are finally free." tell him. He nods his head then removes his hand from me. "Aw, would you look at that? Who would have thought we'd ever see the day?" I hear Jay say as I watch Garmadon walk over to his family and rests his arms on Lloyd and Misako's backs as they walk off. "You think we should dogpile him?" "Do that and I will punch you in the gut." I warn Jay, though I still smile and not look back to see his reaction. "Yeah, let's give them the their moment. They earned it." Nicely spoken, Kai. (Let's not ruin the moment. ☺️)

"It's been quite a ride, fellas." I look back after Cole said that. "You think there will be others?" Zane asks. "I hope so. I liked being a ninja." Cole says. "'Liked'?" I raised a brow at that as I rest a hand on my hip. "Once a ninja, always a ninja." I state. "Okay, you got me there. But it's not like we have many other skills." He responds. I shake my head playfully as I walk over to him. "Oh, I'm sure you'll know 'em. Twinkle Toes." I tease as I stop and poke his chest.  He looks at me with a smirk, "Oh, a jokester now, huh?" He teases. "Well, I'm a woman of many talents." I respond. "Okay, you two, simmer down on the chemistry." I look at Jay with an unamused look. (He ain't wrong.) "Also, I'm looking forward to doing a little inventing, maybe some model building, dabble in poetry-" "Jay's right." Thank you, Kai. I I remove my hand from Cole as I divert my attention to Kai. "We've come a long way and there's no reason why we can't use what we've learned in our everyday lives. Who knows? We may have gotten the balance right today but there's always tomorrow." He walks over Wu as he says that. "There's no way of knowing what's around the corner. But as long as there's something worth fighting for, there's always a need for a ninja. And we'll be ready." He states.

We all then walk over and stand together. I look up at the sky and close my eyes as I breathe in the air. The balance is now restored. But Kai is right, there will always be something that comes along. So, whatever we face next, bring it. But for now, I'm going to enjoy peace while I can.

(Woo! Season 2 is done! I hope you have enjoyed it. Season 3 won't be for a while because I have other books to update but I am going to rest for a bit. Also, I am publishing this at almost two in the morning. Okay, bye for now!)
