Things have been quiet the last few days. Ever since Zane found out about his identity and unlocked his true potential, we have not heard from the Serpentine. We also have not found any of the four Fangblades either. I still have those headaches along with hearing the woman's voice, but I have gotten better at handling the pain. I also have been testing my powers. Zane and I have gotten closer, mostly because we both know what it is like to feel lost and while he did regain his memories of where he came from and who his father is, I still don't know who my parents are. Another thing is I have been able to create crystal-like objects with my powers. Wu was onto something about how my connections with others have helped me better understand my powers.

Now what is happening currently is Nya has called for me and the guys to meet in the bridge. She and I have done some research on the snakes to hopefully find an advantage over them. And we have found something. Nya removes a cloth to reveal the thing on the table to be, "Some villagers unearthed the remains of this Fangpyre a few miles away." That. Nya explains as the guys sit on the opposite side of the table. "It predates the Golden Age, and must be hundreds of years old." Nay explains as I watch the boys. Zane was the only one paying attention while the others... not so much. Kai was leaning back and fiddling with a pencil, Cole was painting a picture of himself doing an action pose, and Jay was staring at Nya with a lovesick expression. His hair is different too.

I then feel a nudge on my side, "(Y/N)." "Huh?" I  over look to see Nya looking at me, "I said, do you want to discuss about the remains and what we found out?" She asks me. "Oh. Oh! Right." I remember then clear my throat, "While it is long dead, there is still venom within the fangs, and as we know what Fangpyre venom can do, it be best to stay clear from them." I start as Nya uses a laser pointer to highlight the fangs. "Nya and I have learned that there is a way to stop and counter the effects of the venom without the need for the anti-venom within the lead Fangpyre's staff." I continue, not caring if some of the guys are not listening. I kind of enjoy this.

"By raising one's heart rate to a high speed, it could hypothetically reverse the effects of the venom. Thus resulting in..." I trail off as I glance at Nya, and find that she looks a little flushed with her cheeks being a bright pink. "Uh, Nya, you look a little flustered. Is everything okay?" I ask her. Nya sniffs but then she frowns and covers her nose, "Excuse me, is someone wearing perfume? I am severely allergic to perfume." She says. I start to worry and focus my powers, making a mask for her to safely breathe. She gives me a thankful look as she takes deep breaths.

"Heh. You told me it was men's cologne." "Eh, I get them mixed up." I look over at the boys as Kai, Cole, and Zane laugh while Jay looks embarrassed. I just give them an unamused look and roll my eyes. Boys. "Ah, looks like class is over. Time to start stomping some Serpentine before they find any Fangblades." Cole declares, he and the guys getting up and gathering their things. "Sounds like a plan." "I'm excited to join." Kai and Zane agree. I roll my eyes but say nothing as I start to follow them, "Oh. The mask won't last forever. Jay, please wash yourself and refrain from using perfume again." I tease. Jay just groans, "You too, (Y/N)?" I just smile and exit out of the bridge, closing the door behind me.

However, I feel my powers spike and I close my eyes as I see Jay and Nya. But I shake my head and open my eyes. "No. This is something private and I should leave them alone." I say to myself then walk away from the bridge. Jay has feelings for Nya and I should not intrude on anyone's love life. Besides, it's about time he made a move.

Jay's P.O.V.

Finally. It's just me and Nya. No pressure except for the fact I wore perfume and not cologne. Heh. Okay. Keep it cool. I start walking towards Nya, "Uh.... Hey, Nya, I'm sorry." I apologize. "The reason I was- You know- I went to Kai because- Look," I sigh. Why must this be so difficult?! "What I'm trying to say is-" "I know. It's just a cruel joke. I should be fine. Please, go fight snakes." Nya speaks and I see (Y/N)'s mask for her start to fade.

Crud. Gotta make this fast. "No, no, no. I-I was trying to impress you. Before Sensei left, he said our heart was the key to unlocking our true potential." I tell her. "Impress me? But I look so..." "Fantastic." I tell her. She is so cute. I regain focus, her playing with her hair and looking away. Focus, Jay! "Look, maybe, if you'll let me, I can take you to some big fancy restaurant. You don't have to, if you don't want to..." I give her the choice. "You mean... like a... date?" She asks. Okay, big moment. "Um... yeah?" "Sure! I'd love to." Yes. "But I have to go now because (Y/N)'s powers have worn off and if the perfume toxins enter my bloodstream, it'll make me go into shock. See you tonight." She says quickly, walking off and waving to me  before exiting the bridge.

This is happening. This is happening! "YES! Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha!" I jump in victory and do a dance. I got a date with Nya. I got a date with Nya. But then I feel a prick. "Ow! Aah!" I groan at the pain and shake my hand to rid it. "Man." But I did not let that get my mood down. Now to get ready for my date with Nya.

Third Person P.O.V.

But after Jay left, a drop of venom falls from the fang of the Fangpyre skeleton he pricked himself on and lands on the floor. A fly lands near it and drinks some of it. But it then glows green and transforms into a more snake-like being. All the while, Jay remains unknown of what is to happen to him.

Wu's P.O.V.

"Hello, brother. What took you so long?" I stand a short distance from my brother. His back facing me as only darkness surrounds us in this realm. "You brought the katana from our youth. Funny, you never had the courage to cross the temple wall, yet now you have the courage to come here." He says. I tighten my grip on the handle of the katana but do not lose sight. "Why have you come to this place of darkness?" I demanded of him for an answer. "A place as wicked as me? Don't you see? Here I feel at home. Back in Ninjago, I was physically unable to hold all four Spinjitzu weapons. But here, dark magic has made me stronger, and what was once impossible is now possible." He turns to face me. And reveal his now four arms.

I become shocked at that, "You came here only to possess the weapons of Spinjitzu?" I ask him in disbelief. "Yes, brother, and I refuse to allow you or your petty ninja to stop me!" He states and then summons weapons, one for each hand. He charges at me and I have no choice but to fight back. But right as he swings one of his weapons at me, I slide under it, missing me by an inch. I right myself and face him, countering his strikes against me. He grunts in frustration but then brings down his weapons at me. I use my katana to block them, but it becomes too much as he uses all of his weapons against me at once.

I lose my balance as I am pushed back and I tumble downward. I land in some mud-like swamp and Garmadon jumps down, staring me down. I jump back on my feet and perform Spinjitzu. But then three large mud monsters form around me and I stop spinning. I try to use Spinjitzu to hold them back, "Brother, I've not come here to-" "You will pay for your visit. Mud monsters, converge!" He interrupts me as he orders. I become trapped and I try to get out. "You don't belong here, old fool. You should have known better than to try and stop me." I hear my brother say.

I grunt as I try to escape, "I didn't come here to stop you. I came to warn you. To tell you-" I become engulfed in mud, but I'm not giving up yet. "Your son's in danger. Aah!" I become engulfed again and I reach out my hand to Garmadon.

Third Person P.O.V.

"Lloyd?" Garmadon says in disbelief. He drops his weapons and hurries to Wu. Grabbing his hand and pulling him out of the mud monsters. Wu lands on his back and pants as he spits out any mud that got in his mouth. Garmadon sighs, "What has Lloyd gotten himself into?" He asks, looking at Wu. "He has opened a can of worms I fear I will never be able to close." Wu answers, lifting himself up a little. "You mean, we will never be able to close." Garmadon replies. He walks over to Wu and lends a hand to him. "Get up. You can tell me more later." He says, lifting Wu onto his feet. "First, we need to find a way to return home. How did you find me?" Garmadon states then asks.

"Traveler's tea. But I used it all and now we have no way back." Wu answers, unsure of how to get back to Ninjago. But Garmadon was undeterred. "There is only one way to return to Ninjago. But to get there we must pass through the Mountain of Madness and it is a long and dangerous road ahead." He states. "I wouldn't have it any other way." Wu replies. "We should leave. Before it really gets dark." Garmadon states. Wu looks up at the already dark sky then follows Garmadon. The two may be enemies now, but they will always have a brother in each other.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I sit on my knees as I meditate in my room. My eyes closed as I try to concentrate. I steady my breathing and I soon see a familiar faint green aura. Lloyd. He is still held prisoner but I can feel that he is unharmed. I sigh a little in relief but then I got an idea. Maybe I can track the Serpentine. I focus as I try to find where Pythor is. He wants to make the people pay so he will be leading the search. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't.

I open my eyes as I sigh in frustration, "Dang it." I stand up and walk out of my room. I glide my hand on the wall as I walk down a hall. I miss him. I miss how we would play together. I saw a lot of myself in Lloyd and I wanted him to not feel as lonely as I did growing up. I stop and look down in thought. "Why must this be so difficult?" I ask myself. I then feel my powers flare up as I use my powers to find out that it was Jay. But then I felt him become nervous.

I ignore it and assumed it must be because of his date with Nya. I shrug and make my way to the bridge. "Pythor would not be there for fun." I stop before I enter, "We believe a Fangblade may be buried underneath the park." I hear Zane and enter the room. "Fangblade or no Fangblade, we have to go there now." I state entering the room. "Yeah, we can't let them get it. Oh, but my date," Jay says before remembering his date. "Jay, if they get all four of them, Pythor can unleash the Great Devourer. Get your priorities straight, man." Kai says to him. Jay looks down but then perks up with a smile.

I then feel Nya's presence near, "Okay, Jay, you go and talk to Nya while the rest of us head down to Mega Monster Amusement Park to retrieve the first Fangblade. Let's go!" I exclaim and Cole, Zane, and Kai, hurry off to get their weapons. I stay behind and once they were gone I grab Jay's arm. "Okay, spill." I order. "Uh, what do you mean?" He asks nervously. I watch him closely and he glances down at his arm that is in my grasp. I look down and pull off his glove and find that his hand is covered in scales. "Jay," "I know. I know! But it's not that bad. Look, it's probably nothing so please don't tell anyone. Especially Nya." He begs me.

We stare at each other for a while but I give in. I sigh, "Fine. Hopefully, you listened to our class earlier." I tell him, letting him go and giving back his glove as I go to catch up with the others. I really hope he knows what he's doing. I get my fans and meet up with the others. "What took you so long?" Kai asks me. "Just had to deal with something first. Now let's go slander some snakes." I reply, putting on my hood and jumping off the Bounty. I hear the boys cheer and I look behind to find Zane the closest to me and he grabs my hand so I can get on his vehicle.

I see the ground get closer. "Hey, mind if I try something?" I ask Zane. "I do not see why not." He replies I lay a hand on his shoulder and close my eyes as I focus on my powers. I feel my powers bond with Zane and when I open my eyes, I see a purple crystal ramp for us to drive on. "Head for the ramp!" I exclaim. Zane does so and we get on. I look back to find the others and they get on too. I smirk as I get an idea and make another ramp as we drive off it. "Woo-Hoo!" "Yeah!" We land on the ground and head to the park. "(Y/N), that was awesome!" I look at Kai as he drives next to Zane and I. I look to find Cole on the other side, "You've got to do that again!" He says. I smile a little under my hood. "We'll see. Come on, Z, let's leave these two in snow!" I say to Zane. "I am happy to comply." He responds and speeds up. I laugh and enjoy the feel of the wind against my face.

We make it to the park and I hop off Zane's vehicle before he transforms it back into his shurikens. I hear the others arrive too and we walk into the park, looking around to try and find any snakes. "Where is everybody?" Kai asks, but then we hear screaming and look back to find people running away from a building in fear. "Wait a minute. That ride was never scary." Cole points out. "Venomari." Zane deduces. "Should we get Jay?" Kai asks. "No. We go in and see what we can do first. If we need help, we'll get him." I order. "(Y/N)'s right. Let's not bother the two love birds. I think we can handle this." Thank you, Cole.

We rush in while also avoiding colliding with people running away as we enter the building. I lead and we slow down as we begin to sneak. We make it to where the snakes are and we hide as they dig for something. I hear a clang and see Pythor bend down and pick something up from the hole. "Ha-ha-ha! The first Fangblade is ours!" He says, holding up the very blade with a soft blue glow. "Showtime, boys." I growl out.

We get into position and Kai raises his sword, making it light with flames. The rest of us equip our weapons, "Not so fast!" Kai says. "Really? That's the best you got?" Cole questions him. I look to find him shake his head with disappointment. It was kind of lame if I'm being honest. "I couldn't think of anything on the fly." Kai defends. "How about "Time to burn"? Or, uh, "Jump on this fire ride"?" Cole offers. Those do sound better. "Well, next time you lead with the one-liners." Kai complains at Cole. "Next time I will." Cole bites back. (Boys.) I roll my eyes, "Guys! Fight snakes, get the blade, then get out!" I order and assume my stance again, glaring at Pythor. The snakes brandish their weapons and growl at us.

We charge forward and fight back against them. Two snakes surround me on both sides and right as they charge at me, I put my hands behind my back and step back. They collide into each and fall onto the ground. I smirk at my accomplishment then fight some other snakes. I flip backwards and land on my feet, "Ninjas? Ninjas aren't scary." I look back to find some people still riding the ride. "Uh, please remain within the cart at all times. We hope you have a wonderful time at Mega Monster Amusement Park and visit again real soon." I say then jump up and deliver a spinning kick to a snake that tries to hit me. "Cool." I hear the guy say and hurry back to stand with the others.

"Watch and learn, brothers." Zane says. My vision changes as Zane's aura glows brighter as he taps into his powers and starts to float, but I get a bad feeling and duck in cover as a bright light engulfs the area. Once it fades, I get up and my vision returned to normal as I find that Zane froze himself, Cole, and Kai in ice. I facepalm at this. "Oops." The snakes laugh at them. Okay, I'm angry now. "Ninja-Go!" I exclaim and perform Spinjitzu. I get some snakes and deliver them some swift punches and kicks and stop as I look around. I then glare at Pythor, "I'm only gonna say this ONCE; Give me the blade. You do NOT know the extent of destruction that will fall on the land at your hands!" I demand of Pythor. He just smirks at me, "I think not, dear. Attack!" He orders and more snakes charge at me. I crack my neck and pull out my fans, "Fine. The hard way it is." I say and charge back.

Nya's P.O.V.

I felt bad for leaving Jay in the middle of our date but if the Serpentine are here, they have to be stopped. I make it to where the snakes are and see some be sent back by purple energy waves. I look to see (Y/N) combating against some snakes on her own but then I see Pythor with the first Fangblade. (Y/N) can take care of herself, got to get that blade.

I focus on Pythor and activate my magnet in my exo-suit. I got the blade, "Stop him!" Pythor orders. I command my suit to take off but the thrusters are not working. "Thruster malfunction." Looks like I'm running for it. And I run for it. I see roller coaster tracks ahead of me and I jump over them, but I hear snakes chasing after me still. I've got to think of something and fast. I get an idea and I start climbing up the roller coaster. I make it to the top and steady myself as I ride along the tracks. I lose the snakes for a moment then grab onto a cart on the Ferris wheel and somehow the snakes got on the one above me. I reach the ground and let go to try and escape, but snakes started to surround me.

I look around to try and find something then I see another one of the rides and rush towards it. I grab onto the rocket-looking cart and the snakes continue to chase after me. I let go and run off but then some snakes sprout from the ground and they jump on my suit. I hear beeping through my mech. No, no, no, no! Not now. My mech falls back and I grunt at the impact. Not good. My front opens and I lift myself up a little, "Finally, the mystery man is revealed." I feel my helmet get taken off and I hear some snakes gasp as I look around. I'm completely surrounded. "Or should I have said mystery girl? Who's gonna save you now, hmm?" I look to see Pythor with the Fangblade in his hand. I frown. This is not good.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I knock out the last snake and add him to the pile of all the ones I knocked out before. "Finally." I sigh out, rolling my shoulder a little but then I hiss from some pain as I find a cut on my arm. Good thing I brought some bandages. I wrap it up but then feel my powers spike and my vision changes as I see Jay close by. I run to where he is and my vision returns to normal as I found him in front of a restaurant. "Nya! Where is sssshe?" I hear him say. "Jay!" I call out as I rush over to him. "(Y/N)! What's going on? Where are the guys?" He asks me. "Long story.  Where's Nya?" I reply, but then notice his scarf wrapped around his head. I look behind him to find he has a tail now, "Jay." "I know, I know! But now'sss not the time." He urges.

He turns his head away from me, "Hey!" He shouts and I look to find Pythor and a bunch of snakes. We both take out our weapons and get ready to fight, but they laugh. "Oh, what happened? Snake bite your tongue?" Pythor asks mockingly. I growl, "I'll RIP out your tongue if you don't SHUT UP!" I lash out. Jay and I charge at them, "Jay!" We stop and look to find, "Help!" Nya. She was chained to a roller coaster. It started to move as she rides off, "Later, alligator. Let's go, boys." Pythor says. I want to knock some sense into him but then I see Jay rush off to rescue Nya. I look back at the snakes, mainly Pythor, but then I look at the ground to think. "Gah!" I shout, putting my fans away and go to help Jay with Nya, but I was too late as the coaster goes up.

I try to summon my powers but they would not respond. Darn it. Looks like it's up to Jay now.

Third Person P.O.V.

"What happened to you?" Nay asks Jay as he made it to the front car to help her. "What happened to you?" Jay asks back, but then looks to find that some tracks have been wrecked with a flaming hoop placed before it. Thankfully, it was later in the ride so he got some time to work with trying to free Nya. "Uhh, we have to get you out of here." He states, trying to pull at the chains that is keeping her trapped. But Nya notices the tail forming behind him, "We're you bit? Take off your head scarf." She says. "I prefer not." He denies, shaking his head and closing his eyes. He opens them as he looks at her again. "I wasss meaning to tell you, but I didn't want to ruin the date." He tells her. "Oh~ that's sweet." Nay smiles at him but then tries to free herself.

"Hey, you were the first in your Lil' Scouts group to get your knot badge, right?" She stops and recalls what he said during their date. "Yeah, about that. I made that up jusst so I could impressss you. I was never in Lil' Ssscoutss." Jay sheepishly admits. "You weren't?" Nay asks then looks forward, "Hold on." She says. "What? You have an idea?" Jay asks her. "No, hold on!" Nay repeats. Having reached the peak of the ride, Jay maneuvers himself to sit in the car with Nya as they both scream as the ride drops down and rides along the tracks. Jay's scarf was blown off from the speed.

(Y/N) follows where the tracks lead to hopefully hop on to help, but then sees the broken tracks and worries as she looks to find them getting closer. She tries to summon her powers but they were not responding and could only watch in worry for her friends' safety. On the ride, Jay feels his face to find that he has lost his scarf. Nya looks at him but he faces away from her and uses his hand to hide himself, "Aah, don't look at me. I'm a monsssster! Though I hate the Sssamurai. Where isss he when you actually need him?" Jay wonders and does not notice Nya looking away from him as she thinks. "Sssamurai! Help! Help! Sssamurai!" Jay calls out. "Jay, I don't think the Samurai is coming." Nya tells him. "Why?" Jay asks her.

"I know this may not be the best time, but I haven't been totally honest either." She starts. "What iss it?" Jay innocently asks her. Nya looks away from him, "I... I'm the Samurai!" She confesses, looking at him with a guilty frown. Jay scoffs at the realization, "You're the Samurai?" He says in disbelief. (Y/N) on the ground makes it to where the broken tracks are, but as she moves to climb up she hisses in pain as she grabs her left arm. She could only watch as Jay and Nya get closer and prays for a miracle.

"Aah! We're running out of track!" Jay exclaims. "Jay, if anything horrible were to happen, I want you to know that you don't have to wear cologne or pretend to be anything you're not. Because I like you best when you're you." Nya tells him. She gives him a kiss on the cheek and this causes Jay's heart to beat rapidly. "Your face. You're returning back to normal." Nay says, seeing him back to his human self. "It's just like (Y/N) said. You must have raised my heart rate." Jay says. They get closer to the flaming hoop and (Y/N)'s eyes widen as her heart beats faster in worry. "Whatever happens next, just remember, you are the best you." Nay sincerely tells him.

Jay smiles then becomes determined and stands up. (Y/N) blinks and her vision changes as she sees Jay's elemental aura brighten. She looks on as her heartbeat calms down. Jay's body starts to glow as lightning surrounds his body. "What's happening?" Nya asks, amazed. Jay's body becomes clear as lightning emits from him along with wearing his Gi, "My true potential." He states. Right as the cars makes it to the top that will lead to the flaming hoop, Jay teleports to the front of the car and pushes back against it. Electricity surrounds it as it slowly comes to a halt. People on the ground watch with wide eyes at the sight and Jay was able to stop the ride right before it reached the hoop.

Jay pants then sighs as he closes his eyes as he lays on the front of the car, his body returning to normal. (Y/N)'s vision returns to normal and breathes a sigh of relief, "You did it, Jay." She smiles. But then she remembers something. "Oh shoot! The guys!" She shouts.

After freeing the boys from the ice, the group met up with Jay and Nya at the entrance of the park. "You really had me fooled. I never guessed you were the Samurai." Zane says. Nya also came clean about her identity as the Samurai. "I wish I had a sister like you." Cole compliments and Nya smiles at him in thanks. "Technically, I was the first to discover her secret, and didn't we agree whoever we thought  was the best would naturally be the Green Ninja? Huh? The Green Ninja! The destined ninja to defeat Lord Garmadon, huh?" Kai boasts.

"Why would we say that?" Jay asks. "Yeah, I'm drawing a blank." Cole agrees. "Nope. That conversation is not in my database." Zane states. Kai only shakes his head while (Y/N) covers her mouth to hide her smile and muffle a laugh. "You know what I learned today?" Jay says. "What's that?" Nya asks. "No matter what kind of secret you have, whether you're a snake or a samurai, it's important to be yourself." Jay says. "And to not let anything make you think otherwise." (Y/N) adds. Jay gives her a thankful smile as she gives him a smile in return. (Friendship~)

"Yeah, that's cute. But you wanna know what I learned? The Serpentine now have the First Fangblade." Cole states. "But we are getting stronger. One day, we will all reach our true potential and Pythor will be stopped." Zane counters. "And we figured out all this without Sensei. Pretty good for five ninja." Jay states proudly. Nya hits him on the shoulder. "And a samurai." He adds. "I wonder what Sensei is doing now." Kai says.

"Wherever he is, I have faith he will return. But right now, we have to get back to the Bounty. There are still three Fangblades out there and we will find them." (Y/N) says. The others agree and start making their way back to the Bounty. (Y/N) feels her powers spike and she closes her eyes as she sees Lloyd once more. "Don't worry. I'll get you back." She whispers. Opening her eyes as she becomes determined.

Lloyd looks around as he thought he felt something, or someone, nearby.
