Cole's P.O.V.
I wasn't too happy right now. As much as I loved my father, I was a ninja, and ninja have a job- protect the city. The rest of the team was out taking care of some thugs that were vandalizing the subway station. But, of course, it was the day that my dad and I had scheduled to meet up.
I hopped off of my bike and leaned it against the nearby building, praying to the First Spinjitzu Master that no one would take it.
As I walked down the street towards the house, I noticed some bright light coming down an ally way.
I pondered on it for a minute, mad finally decided to check up on it. "It's just a minute," I murmured to no one in particular. "It won't hurt anyone to check this out. Right?"
As I poked my head around the corner, I reach to my back to pull out my- wait. There's nothing on my back!
'Right, had to leave all weapons at the Bounty. Of course," I thought, shaking my head.
My eyes widened when I finally focused on what was going off. It appeared to be some sort of...dance off. Two people were dancing in an open spot, completely surrounded by swarms of people.
One of the dancers caught my eye though. She was on the left side, and the crowd on her side was bigger than the other side's. A big cardboard sign read '(Y/n)' that was being held by some random stranger. I didn't bother to pay attention to the other side- I was too busy watching the one known as (Y/n) break dance. And boy oh boy was she great.
Because of my failure to properly analyze the area, I jumped slightly when both dancers stopped and faced the man in the middle, who was sitting at a desk that looked like it was dragged straight from the alleyways. 'It probably was,' I told myself.
The man glanced at both dancer quickly and raised his hand on the right- (Y/n)'s side.
(Y/n) jumped up and shot her fiat up in the air as celebration. She walked up to the man and received a good share of money, who knows how much.
After momentarily thinking, I finally listen to my senses and step up. Once o found her again in the sea of people, I tapped her shoulder politely.
"Pardon me ma'am, but just where did you get that money from, may I ask?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Dance. Now freak off," (Y/n) ordered, flicking her (h/l)
(h/c) to the side as she did so.
"Alright. Where did the money for the dance come from?"
Her (e/c) eyes narrowed into tiny slits that were barely visible.
"And why do you care, hmm?" She inquired.
I felt a slight blush creeping up my face, and I tried and failed to keep it hidden.
"How about this," the lady offered. "We go back and dance off. Winner gets the money, and to spice it up, if you win, I tell you where its from, and if I win, well, I just get the money. Oh, and your phone number too."
I nodded my head and followed her back down the alleyway. It was not not when I felt the eyes of all the strangers baring on me did I realise just how many people were here and how big of an event this was. 'What did I get myself into...'

(Y/n) had just won. It was a close one, and I could tell that I definitely have her a run for her money. LITERALLY. She smirked knowingly and held out her hand. I grumbled some incoherent words under my breath that Sensei Wu wouldn't be too fond of as I scribbled down some numbers of a paper.
People started to scatter in all directions. "PARTY'S OVER FOLKS!" Yelled an all-to-familiar voice.
"Shoot," (Y/n) grumbled. Without warning, she quickly pecked my cheek before running off to hide with the rest.
"Lloyd?" What are you doing here?" I asked the 'Chosen One'.
"It's the group of thugs we were supposed to catch. Turns out it was just a large group of illegal break dancers who stole some money from the local bakery," Kai responded.
"Huh," I murmured. "I have to get to my dad's place, so see you later!" Shrugging, I stuck my hands in my pant pockets, only to feel something in there. It was paper.
Hiya cutie! Here's my number, ##########. Meet up sometime? By the way, your a great dancer!
