Jiang let out a yawn as she slumped in her seat, put her feet up on the dashboard, and crossed her arms, resting them on her stomach. Today's training with Monkey King, to put it lightly, had been absolutely exhausting. Heck, she could fall asleep where she was right now.

She couldn't wait to get back to her apartment and just sleep for eternity. But of course, like always, someone had to put a damper on her plans. "Heyo! Guess who back from their training with Monkey King, oh" MK said before he went quiet.

It was easy to tell why, considering the second the vehicle had stopped moving the two were surrounded by bull clones. Oh come on! One little break. Is that too much to ask?!" Jiang cried. Then she noticed something. Something wasn't right.

The clones were acting almost like zombies, and areas that once glowed red and orange now shown with a bright soft blue color. "What the heck is up with you guys?" She murmured, eyebrows furrowed slightly before the bull clones that surrounded the two siblings attacked. However, before the clones could get any closer, a van slammed into them all, throwing the clones off into the distance with how hard they were hit.

Jiang was already surprised enough with the appearance of the van, but she was even more surprised when her friends all came out. "Guys?!" MK said, laughing a little. "You look so awesome!" He said, looking everyone up and down.

"And now that we've got the topic of clothing out of the way, what the hell is going on here?!" Jiang called out. "Yeah, so, uh, some stuff happened while you were away, got kinda intense" Mei said. "I can see that" Jiang said as she took a look around.

Just about everything was not left unscathed. "But, I left you with one of my boys!" MK cried, referring to the clone he had made before he and Jiang left. "Oh, he's super useful" Tang said in a sarcastic tone as he moved over to the side, revealing the clone, who was leaning against the seat.

"I don't know what to tell ya guy" it said before exploding into hair fragments. "So what all happened?" Jiang asked, crossing her arms. "Well, after you guys left-" Mei began to say before Tang interrupted her.

"If you'll allow me, hmm?" He said, making Mei groan. "Well, after you guys left, the bull clones attacked. But they were different, more powerful than before. We believe that it's all tied back to the Demon Bull King himself. MK, Jiang, he's conquered everything" Tang said in his weird storytelling voice. "Where is he? Where's DBK?" MK asked.

"We're not sure, but there's pretty scary noises coming from the mountain" Sandy said, making everyone look at the mountain in question. "Then that's probably where he's hiding. Come on" Jiang said. She hopped onto the side of the van with Mei while everyone else got inside.

Then they all took off towards the mountain. Along the way, Jiang's heart ached at the sight of destruction and fear that had taken place. She barely ever saw any other signs of life, but the people that she did see were absolutely terrified.

She turned her attention back to the mountain. All the more reason to stop DBK. The van came to a stop at the edge of a deep, long crevice in the Earth with the Bull King logo etched into a large board set above it.

"Okay, so, what's the plan?" Sandy asked. "Uh, I don't know. I was just gonna wing it" MK said, making Jiang facepalm. Though she couldn't talk since she hadn't thought of a plan either.

"Sounds great, let's go" Sandy said while Mei shouted, "Yeah!". "What? No! I didn't mean you guys too!" MK cried. "MK, when have they never tagged along?" Jiang told him with a deadpan look on her face.

"You thought you were going without us?" Tang asked. Pigsy laughed a bit. "MK, we get it. You and Jiang are the Monkey Kids, huh? It's your guy's job to go fight the bad guys" he said.

"But we're your team little man, it's our job to getcha there" Sandy told MK. "No matter what" Mei said. "And hey, it's nice to know that you've got people watching your back when you can't" Jiang added with a light smile.

MK shared the look, and the group started driving. They jumped a ramp, and landed on a rocky pathway that was rather bumpy. Jiang, who was still hanging on outside, was the first to notice that they were being chased.

"Bogies on our tail!" She called, hanging on to the door and window sill. "Hang on kiddo!" Pigsy called before he began to swerve, hoping to shake off the pursuer. That didn't work, and their adversary purposefully crashed into them.

"Look, there! DBK's throne room! It's gotta be down there!" Tang cried, pointing at something. Twisting around, Jiang spotted the giant hole in the Earth that he was pointing at, but her view was quickly blocked as their pursuer pulled up alongside the vehicle. "Aw shit" she said before she quickly climbed up to the roof of the car.

Just in time too. She had barely gotten her foot out of the way when their adversary crashed into them. After the second time, Pigsy's vehicle exploded, throwing Jiang into the air.

Then, she was pulled down, landing on Sandy's shoulders as he began running towards the opposing vehicle, which he bashed in with one good hit. Then, Jiang jumped off of him with Mei and MK, who she just noticed, but didn't say anything. "Come on guys! Let's go!" Mei said, then everyone began screaming as they all fell into the deep hole.

Mei took out her sword while Jiang summoned the staff, and both girls shoved their weapons into the rock, slowing them down to a stop. MK was clinging to Mei's leg like a child. "Now what?" He asked.

"I'm thinking, I'm thinking" Jiang told him as she looked around, hoping to see something that would help them out of their situation. "So, about getting down, if your friend jumped off a cliff, would you guys do the same?" Mei asked. "Depends on which friend it is" Jiang told her.

MK's eyes suddenly widened as they locked on something that was above the trio. "Uh, Mei, Jiang?" He said as he continued to stare at it. "Oh, shit" Jiang said as she saw it.

Above the trio were dozens of bull clones. All of them weren't glowing, or moving, so Jiang guessed they were dormant. For now.

"What are we gonna do?!" Mei and MK quietly panicked. "Guys! As long as no one makes any loud sounds, we'll be fine" Jiang told them with a reassuring smile. That quickly faded away when Mei's phone began to ring at full force.

She fumbled with the device, and MK somehow got up to her sword and held on to it while holding Mei's foot. "Seriously?! A phone update now?!" She hissed. "Mei!" MK cried.

"Yeah, now's a great time to download the latest version of Monkey Mech" Mei said before everyone all gasped. "Monkey Mech!" Everyone cried. "Here comes the Monkey Kids!" MK and Jiang cried.

She threw her brother up, and he slammed the staff into the wall. Which caused an explosion, and metal parts came flying, which MK used to make another Monkey Mech. "Mei, you hold off the Bull Clones. Me and MK will finish this" Jiang said.

"I've always dreamed of piloting a killer mech!" Mei cried with happiness. "Actually, now that you mention it, maybe I should take the mech" MK said before the floor opened up beneath him and Jiang.  The two plummeted down, and MK landed face first while Jiang landed on her back, letting out an "Oof!" when the staff landed on her stomach.

"Noodle Boy? Random Girl?" She heard Red Son asked, surprise in his voice. "Hey Red Son" Jiang said, waving to him without looking. Wait a minute.

Jiang's eyes flew open to see that she and her brother were in a little crater that was behind DBK, who did not look right. Large canisters with a blue substance were attached to his back, and his eyes were glowing the same color. "Little thieves" he growled.

"Oh, give me a minute" MK groaned. Jiang heard some things cracking as he moved around while she slowly stood up. Looking back at the towering bull, she noticed something else was up. DBK's eyes kept switching back and forth between their usual yellow and the eerie glowing blue color. 

"Okay, think I'm ready to fight now, let's go" MK said. "Sun Wukong, come to lock me away again? I'll crush you where you stand!" DBK snapped, his eyes back to the blue color. "Wukong?" Jiang asked, sharing a confused look with MK.

"I think you got the wrong kids. You feeling okay bud?" Her brother asked as he reached for the staff. "MK! Run!" Jiang cried as DBK launched himself at the two. Both kids did their best to dodge his punches, which seemed to pack a little more power than Jiang remembered.

The force of a powerful hit that landed right behind her forced her forwards. Jiang landed harshly on the ground, feeling the slight burning on her shoulder and upper arm as they were scratched up from the rock beneath her. "Jiang!" She heard MK scream as the ground shook.

Turning herself over onto her back, Jiang let out a yelp at the sight of DBK pulling his fist back and then thrusting it forward as he as he could. Knowing she wouldn't get out of the way in time, Jiang raised her arms above herself in a futile attempt to protect herself. She was very surprised when Iron Fan's staff came out of nowhere and hit DBK.

Holding the momentary distraction to her advantage, Jiang began to scramble back, willing to get anywhere that was away from the raging bull, but a sharp gust of wind seemed to pull her back. "Jiang!" MK cried, giving his surprised sister a tight hug that she returned with one arm. "The canisters. The power inside has driven him mad" Iron Fan said, catching both kids attentions.

Jiang and MK's eyes light up as the gold vision came around. Jiang glanced at the canisters, and was slightly mortified at what she saw. Along with the blue liquid that was there, she also saw bones.

And, oh god, was that a skull? "We need to destroy them" she heard Iron Fan say. She lightly shook her head, and the gold vision went away.

DBK stood up, and began running at the group. "Okay, time for round two" MK said. "No. This time, we fight with you" Red Son said, greatly surprising Jiang, before he took off towards his father.

"You both have one shot. So make it count" Iron Fan warned MK and Jiang before she followed her son. "Okay, once in a lifetime moment right there, but hey, I'm not complaining" Jiang said with a shrug. "You will meet your fate, together!" DBK shouted before he successfully pushed Red Son and Iron Fan back.

He began to approach the two, and Jiang looked around. She spotted MK up on a raised rock area, and watched as he flung one that hit DBK's head. "Yeah, I got more rocks where that one came from!" He cried before DBK grabbed him and slammed him into a wall.

"MK!" Jiang cried, terrified for her brother. "You have been an utter disappointment.  I hoped you would have learned more of the Great Sage's little tricks" DBK growled. "I don't know what to tell you dude" MK replied.

"MK, this is a bad time for me to be rubbing off on you" Jiang murmured. She panicked when DBK crushed her brother, but was just as surprised as him when MK burst into hair fragments. "What?! A clone?" DBK growled out.

"Yeah! Turns out I did learn some tricks" MK said, catching the staff as a surprised and relieved Jiang tossed it to him. He revealed all the clones of himself he had made, and they all attacked DBK. All of them kept going, battering the Demon Bull King, until finally, the pack with the canisters fell off.

Jiang went up to it, pulling out a knife as she went. "Oops!" She called nonchalantly as she cut a couple wires and got away. Then, the pack exploded, and all of the blue substance faded away.

Jiang stood alongside her brother as they watched DBK return to normal. "What, happened?" He asked, sounding rather confused. Maybe it was best if no one told him.

"You came back to me" Iron Fan with a soft smile. And with that, the entire Demon Bull family disappeared. "You can't just, ugh! Again?! Really?!" MK cried.

The entire area was shaking, and Jiang guessed they had minutes, if not seconds, to get out before the place collapsed due to instability. A shadow was cast over them, and both kids were terrified to see a boulder coming down on them. MK and Jiang both clung to each other, but luckily, Mei came in just in time.

"Mei!" The siblings chorused, relieved. "Let's get out of here, Monkey Kids" Mei called. After getting back up and out of the hole, everyone joined Jiang and MK on the shoulder of the mech, watching another blessed sunrise.

"Well, you did it kids" Pigsy said. "You beat DBK. Again" Sandy said. "You know, I'm not sure we did" Jiang said, looking down at her bowl of noodles.

"Whatever was powering him up, it made him, different" MK said. "But, we won, right?" Mei said. "I'm sure it's fine" Tang said before sticking his chopsticks into Pigsy's bowl.

"You were done with this hmm?" He said. "Hey! Get your sticks out of my bowl Tang!" Pigsy snapped, making Mei, MK, and Jiang laugh. However, for, Jiang it was short lived.

What was it that was powering DBK and his bull clones? She knew that they didn't get rid of it, seeing how is disappeared into the air. And now, she couldn't help but feel, like something big was about to come around.
