Pig Pong Panic

Jiang packed up her stuff and slung her purse strap over her shoulder. Sandy had asked her to come around to the docks to help out with something, and who was she to deny a friend something they needed? So, she hopped onto her motorcycle and took off for the docks, arriving in time to see Sandy collapse with MK standing in front of him holding a tea pot.

"What in the..." Jiang said to herself before parking the motorcycle and walking over. "Aw, big guy, you must've tuckered yourself out. I'm gonna keep you safe. Nothing bad's gonna happen. Not on my watch!" MK said. "Uh, MK?" Jiang asked, which apparently startled the boy.

Jiang had to duck in order to avoid a fist to the face. "Whoa, MK, it's just me! Jeez, man!" She cried. "Oh, sorry Jiang. Didn't know you were here" MK apologized, rubbing the back of his neck.

Jiang looked at the tea pot in his hands, then back at the sleeping Sandy. "Looks like you added too many sleepy time tea leaves" she said, opening the lid of the pot and taking a sniff before quickly backing away, holding her nose. The aroma coming from the tea was strong.

Too strong for her sense of smell. "Oh yeah. Way too many tea leaves" she said, replacing the lid and letting go of her nose. mK looked apologetic, but the look faded away as a light appeared above them, which caught both siblings attentions.

It was a portal, and a large crate that was chained shut came through it. Then the portal closed and the light faded away. "Whoa-ho! A super secret package from Monkey King?! Well this day just got a whole lot better" MK said.

"Dude, I don't think we're supposed to open it. Look at it, the thing's chained shut" Jiang said, putting a hand on her hip. "Oh, I'm sure it's fine!" MK replied before he grabbed a crowbar and began to try and pry open the box. A note came flying out, and Jiang caught it.

"What does it say?" MK asked. "Dear MK and Jiang, as you know, I am super busy on vacation. I've got a special delivery, but I won't be able to get to it for a while. You must not open it, no matter what, it's bad news. But I know there's no way your gonna listen to that, so I've also sent you and Jiang training blindfolds. You both must wear these blindfolds all day, and only when you truly learn to listen, can you take them off" Jiang read from the note. "See? Even Monkey King says not to-" she said before MK grabbed one of the blindfolds out of her hand.

"Our new power! Super hearing!" He cried, putting it on. Jiang facepalmed. "I don't think that's what he's talking about MK" she said, half exasperated and half amused.

"I can hear everything!" MK cried. Jiang shook her head, then perked up when she heard someone shouting "Whyyy?!". "That sounded like someone in trouble, I better go help!" MK said before he catapulted himself with the staff.

Jiang opened her mouth, but closed it. "You know what, I'm not going to say anything. He doesn't listen anyway" she muttered to herself. Then she glanced at the blindfold that she still held.

"Why am I also being dragged into this?" She muttered. She looked over the note again, and observed the neat handwriting, the Chinese characters standing out clearly against the paper. Then she noticed something that she had not read before.

"P.S. Jiang, I can probably guess how your feeling, but you could use the lesson too. Besides, I think MK might need some help with not going overboard with anything" she said to herself. "What? Me? Since when do I not listen?!" She cried before pouting a bit. Looking between the note and the blindfold, Jiang finally let out a groan before pocketing the note and walking off in the direction that MK had taken off in.

Getting there, she saw quite the sorry sight. Pigsy lecturing MK and Mei about video games while the Monkey Mech arcade game was in the back of a truck. She had to clamp a hand over her mouth when he began gawking over a ping pong table.

"Hey guys, what's going on?" She asked, walking over to Mei and MK. "Pigsy's taking the Monkey Mech game, and I can't get this blindfold off!" MK cried. Jiang's eyes widened as she glanced at the blindfold she had tied around her wrist.

Well shit. "Like, you can't take it off, at all?" She asked. "Noo!" MK wailed.

"Well, in the note Monkey King did say that once you truly learn to listen, then you can take it off" Jiang said as she fiddled with the blindfold on her wrist. To her surprise, it did come off. Maybe once someone actually tied it around their eyes did the magic take affect.

But, Jiang didn't feel like testing it out right that second, essentially when MK signed the sheet to keep the Ping Pong table. "Kid! What are you doing?!" Pigsy yelled at him. "Trust me Pigsy, I super hear what your saying. You need me and Jiang to work hard, so that you can play hard" MK told him, getting a ping pong paddle in Pigsy's hand.

"No. Not ping pong. This isn't good. I really don't play too hard. Listen, as long as this table's here, I won't stop! I can't stop!" Pigsy cried. "Uh, okay Pigsy. You have fun. Super hearing delivery bit, go!" MK called out before he crashed into a light pole. "Uh, MK, let me help" Mei said.

"I got it, I got it, I got it!" MK said before he took off. "He totally doesn't got it!" Jiang called out. She turned around to see Pigsy heading towards the ping pong table.

He seemed pretty apprehensive. Jiang shrugged and walked off. Nothing bad was going to happen with him playing ping pong, right?

Later on, after catching up with some old friends, Jiang walked down a street, and happened to run into MK and Mei. "Oh, hey guys, what going on?" She asked. "Hey Jiang. I was just telling MK how there's probably a twist with your guy's hearing lesson. And that it's probably just based on hearing things good" Mei said.

"Isn't that the same thing?" MK asked. No one answered him because the girls were too busy staring at a surprising sight. People were laying around, groaning, and at the ping pong table stood, "Pigsy?!" Jiang cried.

"What the hell?" Mei said. "Hey, guys, I don't remember the ground being so squishy" MK called before he was hit by a flying body. "Pigsy, what is going on?!" Jiang cried.

"I am the master of ping, the emperor of pong!" Pigsy yelled before laughing. "I never should have let him played" Jiang muttered. Tang shouted something along the lines of "Run while you can!".

"Pigsy, you have to stop! People are getting hurt!" MK cried. "Stop? I told ya. As long as this table's here, I'll never stop!" Pigsy yelled. "What do we do?! He won't listen to reason!" Tang cried.

MK managed to make his way over to Mei and Jiang. "There's only one thing to do. Pigsy, I challenge you!" He cried, picking up a ping pong paddle. "You? Oho. If you step up to me, then your going to lose!" Pigsy yelled before flinging a ball which just barely skimmed over MK's hair.

"Yeah, okay. This might be the one scenario where not being able to see puts me at a disadvantage" MK realized. "MK, your an idiot" Mei said. "Agreed" Jiang added as she facepalmed.

"That was just a warning shot. This is the real deal!" Pigsy yelled before hitting a ping pong ball as hard as he could. Jiang heard a slight whistling sound as the ball rocketed towards MK, who managed to block it from hitting his body. "Pigsy, stop! Why won't you listen to me?!" MK cried.

Then, he seemed to go into some sort of trance. Once he came out of it, he flung the ball back. "MK, your blindfold, it's loosening!" Jiang cried the second she noticed that detail.

"I get it now. Pigsy's just like me, he's not listening. But I'll get through to him!" MK said. "If anyone can do it, its you little brother" Jiang said with a proud smile as she crossed her arms. "Are you gonna keep tapping, or are you ready to finish this?!" Pigsy yelled as he hit the ball back.

"No Pigsy. I'm ready to listen" MK replied before he began to throw back every hit that Pigsy flung at him. "Is that all you got?! I thought you wanted to play hard?" MK taunted as he flung the ball back at Pigsy, then he launched himself up too. Jiang watched as he aimed again, not at Pigsy, but this time, the table.

He hit the ball so hard, that it broke the table in two. Then, Pigsy, who seemed to come out of his ping pong madness, went down on his knees, his back facing the group. "What? No, it happened again" he said.

"Pigsy! I'm so sorry. I should've listened. This was all my fault" MK said. "No kid. The game, it's, it's got a hold of me. Thank you" Pigsy replied, looking back at MK. Jiang didn't know what happened in Pigsy's past that involved Ping Pong, and she wasn't sure if she wanted to know.

For now, she was glad that her friends were all okay and uninjured. She and Mei both walked up to the group. "Good job little brother" she said, putting a hand on her brother's shoulder.

"You listened to what he really needed" Mei said as she rubbed Pigsy's head. The group looked over as Tang began to speak. "I'm not sure who taught you guys ping pong, but this isn't it. You really did a number on this street. Should we, uh, clean it up?" He asked, knocking over a piece of debris.

"Or maybe we should check in on Sandy, see how he's doing" Jiang suggested, remembering the over-concentration of sleepy time leaves. Everyone agreed to that, and headed off to the piers to check in their friend. Upon getting there, Jiang couldn't help but snicker at the sight of Sandy knocked out on the couch with drawings, that looked like they were done with a pen, on his face.

He began to wake up as the group approached him. "Heh, looks like I'm not the only one who played hard, eh Tang?" Pigsy said. "Too soon" Tang replied.

"Aw, Mo. You have a good lazy day? Such a lazy cat" Mei said as she petted him. "Oh hey, I forgot about this thing" MK said at the same time Jiang noticed the locked up crate Mo was laying on. "MK, Monkey King told us not to open it" Jiang reminded him, crossing her arms and giving him a hard look.

"But one little peek couldn't hurt" MK replied as he began to reach for the crate. Mo, for some reason, attacked him, then went back to laying in the crate.

"I think that should be answer enough for ya" Jiang said, giving an amused chuckle. "Sheesh, alright, heard you loud and clear. Alright, who wants some tea?" MK said as he stood up. Everyone raised their hands.

"I'll go heat it up" Jiang offered taking the tea pot. "And afterwards, we can get you to beat the blindfold" Mei said, making Jiang freeze. "Eheh, what now?" She asked, looking back to see everyone giving her expectant looks.

Jiang nervously chuckled as she back away with the tea pot. "Oh boy" she muttered. Let's just say, after everyone woke up from the tea, she had one hell of the rest of the day.

Damn. That blind fold was annoying.
