Hospital

Mia was flipping around the fire station like a whirlwind when her phone suddenly buzzed. She somersaulted mid-air and answered, her face quickly turning serious.

" My parents are where?!" Mia exclaimed, her voice echoing through the empty halls. She immediately sprang into action, pulling out her phone and calling Clemmons. She dialed him ten times in rapid succession, each call growing more urgent than the last.

"Clemmons, pick up! It's an emergency!"

Meanwhile, Allen's phone was ringing non-stop. Mia called him twenty times, each time with increasing urgency and impatience.

"Allen! Get to the hospital now! Mom and Dad need us!"

Then there was Buster. Mia paused for a moment, contemplating her next move. With a confident nod, she wrote a quick message and sent it to Buster's communication device.

"Buster, Mom and Dad are in the hospital. We need to go!"

Buster, always calm and collected, responded promptly with a thumbs-up emoji.

Mia couldn't resist adding a playful jab, "You know, Buster, you're lucky I only messaged you once. Allen's probably going to owe me some serious favors after this!"

Mia pulled up in the sedan with a grin plastered on her face as Allen and Clemmons hopped in. Buster, signing animatedly, nodded enthusiastically from the backseat.

"You're driving?" Allen asked incredulously, eyeing Mia's mischievous expression.

"Yup!" Mia chirped, revving the engine a little too eagerly. With a flick of her wrist, she peeled out of the parking lot, accelerating like a race car driver on a mission.

"Whoa, Mia, easy on the gas!" Clemmons yelled from the passenger seat, gripping the door handle for dear life.

Buster, sensing the impending chaos, gestured wildly, trying to communicate something urgent, but his efforts were lost in the rush of wind and Mia's reckless laughter.

"This is going to be a memorable ride," Allen muttered, bracing himself as Mia took a sharp turn, narrowly missing a mailbox.

And so began another thrilling adventure with Mia at the wheel, where every moment was a wild ride and safety seemed like a distant memory.

As Mia careened through the city streets with her brothers in tow, she spotted a towering skyscraper ahead. Without missing a beat, she slammed on the accelerator, sending the sedan hurtling towards the building's entrance.

"Uh, Mia, what are you doing?" Allen shouted, his voice tinged with equal parts excitement and fear.

"We're taking a shortcut!" Mia yelled back, determination blazing in her eyes.

With a deafening roar, the sedan shot up a steep ramp meant for emergency vehicles, defying all laws of physics. The tires screeched against the concrete as they ascended higher and higher, the building looming ominously above them.

Clemmons, wide-eyed and clutching onto his seatbelt for dear life, couldn't help but yell, "I didn't sign up for this!"

Buster, in the back, attempted to sign something urgently, but his gestures were lost in the chaos of Mia's adrenaline-fueled driving.

As they reached the top of the ramp, Mia expertly maneuvered the sedan onto the rooftop, where stunned office workers watched in disbelief as a car magically appeared on their building.

"That's it! We're taking the stairs next time," Allen declared, his knuckles white from gripping the dashboard.

Mia, undeterred and grinning like a daredevil, leaned out the window and shouted triumphantly, "Who needs elevators when you've got me?"

And with that, they sped off into the sunset, leaving behind a trail of bewildered onlookers and a rooftop with an unexpected souvenir—a tire mark and a story to tell for years to come.

After their thrilling rooftop adventure, Mia spotted a manhole cover in the middle of the street. With a mischievous grin, she veered the sedan towards it.

"Mia, what now?" Allen asked, bracing himself for the next surprise.

"We're going underground!" Mia announced with glee.

She skidded the car to a halt, hopped out, and with surprising strength, lifted the manhole cover. She waved her brothers out of the car.

"In we go!" she instructed.

Allen, Clemmons, and Buster exchanged skeptical looks before reluctantly climbing out of the sedan and into the manhole. Mia followed, closing the cover behind them.

Inside the sewer, the trio found themselves standing in a dimly lit tunnel. Water trickled somewhere in the distance, and the air was thick with the smell of damp concrete.

"This is your idea of a shortcut?" Allen asked, disbelief evident in his voice.

"Absolutely! Now, follow me," Mia said confidently, leading the way through the maze of tunnels.

As they navigated the underground labyrinth, Clemmons muttered, "Next time, let's just take a regular route."

Buster signed something frantically, likely agreeing with Clemmons.

Just then, Mia spotted a ladder leading up to another manhole. "Up we go!" she called, starting to climb.

As they emerged from the manhole, they found themselves not in front of the hospital, but the police station.

Mia looked around, slightly confused. "Oops, wrong stop," she said with a sheepish grin.

"Seriously, Mia?" Allen groaned, brushing some dirt off his clothes.

Clemmons sighed, trying to wring out the bottom of his shirt. Buster shook his head, signing, "I should have seen this coming."

But before anyone could protest further, Mia spotted her father's car parked nearby. With a mischievous glint in her eye, she sprinted towards it.

"Mia, wait! Where are you going?" Allen called after her.

"I'm taking Dad's car!" she shouted over her shoulder, hopping into the driver's seat. "You guys figure out the rest!"

With that, she revved the engine and took off, leaving her brothers standing bewildered by the open manhole.

"Now what?" Clemmons asked, looking at Allen and Buster.

Allen sighed. "We walk, I guess. Unless you want to try hitching a ride from the police chief?"

Buster signed, "Or we could just follow Mia's tire tracks."

They all shared a laugh, knowing Mia's driving style would probably leave a trail of chaos to follow. And so, they set off on foot, trying to keep up with their unpredictable sister.

Their "unpredictable" sister went through a red light, launched off two ramps, and somehow managed a quick detour to the moon and back.

As Allen, Clemmons, and Buster tried to catch up, they watched in amazement and horror as Mia's adventures unfolded in the distance.

"Is she... is she really going to the moon?" Allen asked, rubbing his eyes in disbelief.

Clemmons stared, mouth agape. "I think she is. And now she's... coming back? How is that even possible?"

Buster signed, "It's Mia. Anything's possible."

Just then, Mia's car came hurtling back down to Earth, landing with a surprisingly graceful thud right in front of them. She rolled down the window, grinning from ear to ear. "You guys wouldn't believe what I just saw up there! And I got Dad's car back safe and sound!"

Allen, Clemmons, and Buster exchanged incredulous looks.

"Safe and sound? Mia, you just jumped ramps and went to the moon!" Allen exclaimed, shaking his head.

"Yeah," Clemmons added, "but I guess that's just a typical day with you."

Buster signed, "Are we going to the hospital now?"

Mia nodded, still beaming. "Yep! Hop in! Let's go see Mom and Dad!"

As they all piled into the car, Allen couldn't help but mutter, "Just... try to keep it on the ground this time, okay, Mia?"

"No promises!" she replied with a wink, and off they zoomed, racing to the hospital with Mia's unique flair for adventure.

Unfortunetly, Mia sped so fast they broke through a house. Allen, clutching his seatbelt, said, "Mia, please look out!"

Mia, eyes focused straight ahead, replied, "Can't. We're going to the HOSPITAL!"

They zoomed past the hospital at breakneck speed. Allen's eyes widened in horror as he saw the ocean approaching rapidly. "Mia, the ocean! The ocean!"

But it was too late. The car soared off the pier and splashed into the water. They all sat there, soaking wet, in stunned silence.

Clemmons, coughing up a bit of seawater, muttered, "Well, we certainly made a splash."

Buster, dripping wet, signed, "Next time, let's take a cab."

Mia, ever the optimist, said, "At least we're not in a hurry anymore! Now, let's swim back to the hospital!"

Allen sighed deeply. "I think we need to have a serious talk about your driving, Mia."

With that, they all climbed out of the car and began the soggy trek back to dry land, ready to face whatever adventure Mia would lead them into next.

They hiked up a steep mountain, the incline growing more challenging with each step. Allen, panting and struggling to keep up, said, "I don't remember a mountain on the way to the hospital."

Mia, leading the way with boundless energy, turned around and grinned. "Well, it's a shortcut!"

Clemmons, wiping sweat from his brow, asked, "A shortcut to where, exactly? Mount Everest?"

Buster, using exaggerated sign language to express his exhaustion, added, "Next time, let's bring climbing gear."

Allen, taking a break to catch his breath, looked around and said, "Mia, are you sure we're going the right way?"

Mia, completely unbothered by the trek, replied, "Positive! The hospital is just over this ridge. I think."

Clemmons groaned. "You think?"

As they continued to trudge up the mountain, they finally reached the top, only to see another hill in the distance.

Allen sighed deeply, "I think Mia's idea of a shortcut needs some serious re-evaluation."

Mia, undeterred, said, "Come on, guys! We're almost there. I can feel it!"

Buster signed, "I hope you're right, Mia, because my legs are about to go on strike."

And so, with renewed determination and a lot of humor, they continued their unexpected mountain adventure, hoping that the hospital wasn't too far away.

Mia, looking confident and determined, pulled out a small remote and pressed a button. Within moments, a drone appeared, hovering above them.

Allen stared in disbelief. "You could do that all this time?!"

Mia shrugged nonchalantly. "Of course! I just wanted us to get some exercise."

Clemmons and Buster exchanged incredulous looks. Clemmons muttered, "Next time, let's skip the mountain climb."

The drone lowered a platform, and Mia hopped on, motioning for her brothers to join her. "Come on, guys! The hospital awaits!"

As they all climbed onto the platform, Allen couldn't help but laugh. "Only you, Mia. Only you."

The drone lifted them off the ground, bypassing the remaining hills and obstacles. As they soared through the air, Allen looked down and said, "I have to admit, this is pretty cool."

Mia grinned. "Told you it was a shortcut!"

They reached the hospital in no time, the drone gently lowering them to the ground in front of the entrance. Mia jumped off first, her energy still boundless. "Let's go check on Mom and Dad!"

Clemmons and Buster followed, both shaking their heads in amusement. Allen, stepping off the platform, said, "Next time, maybe start with the drone, okay?"

Mia winked. "Where's the fun in that?"

As they entered the hospital, they were greeted by the sight of decorations, balloons, and a table full of snacks. A "Congratulations" banner hung across the room.

Mia stopped in her tracks, looking bewildered. "What's all this?"

Captain Brennant stepped forward with a smile. "It was a test for your police skills, Mia. We wanted to see how you handled real-world situations."

Allen's jaw dropped. "So we went through all that, just for SKILLS?!"

Clemmons shook his head in disbelief. "We went into the ocean for Mia to show police skills?"

Buster, still looking slightly shell-shocked, signed, "The moon. She went to the moon."

Captain Brennant chuckled. "And you all did remarkably well. Especially you, Mia. Your dedication and quick thinking were impressive."

Mia blinked, still trying to process everything. "But... what about Mom and Dad? The hospital?"

Freya and Duke stepped out from behind a curtain, both perfectly fine and grinning.

"It was all part of the plan," Duke explained. "We needed to create realistic scenarios to truly test you."

Mia let out a sigh of relief, then laughed. "I guess I passed then?"

Captain Brennant nodded. "With flying colors. Congratulations, Officer Mia."

Allen groaned, still in disbelief. "We climbed a mountain, broke through a house, and even went to the moon... all for a test."

Clemmons nodded. "Yeah, let's not forget the ramps and the manhole."

Buster signed, "Next time, can we just take the drone from the start?"

Everyone laughed, and Mia finally joined in, feeling proud of herself despite the wild adventure they had been through. "Alright, I promise, next time I'll start with the drone."

Then, she gave them a mischievous look. " Maybe."
