Abandonment

seems like thats all ive ever known

all the broken promises

the empty apologies

break me even more

than their fists ever will

but ill never let them know

how much they hurt me

but now here you are

coming along

acting like you care

im not sure what to think

but ive let my walls come down

inch by inch

brick by brick

that have been known to be broken

youre the light in the distance

you wouldnt believe how much i need you 

my worlds fallen apart in shambles

but youre holding up the broken frames

and helping me get out

i hope i never have to find out

if you leave me

and ill suffocate
