Meeting
Our story starts at small camp at the edge of a forest named Erksfall, where a human bounty hunter by the name of Dirge is waiting for his two companions, a wild mage dragon named Syvan and a druid named Agatha, to arrive so that they can track down a pack of wolves that has been terrorizing the local farmers.

Dirge hummed quietly to himself as he worked on cleaning his hand cannons, prepairing them to be used in combat, while occasinally glancing at the trees around him to keep an eye out for any threats. After holstering his guns he stood up with a scowl, looking at the night sky to see if he could spot Syvan and Agatha, but no such luck.
"Damn it. If those two idiots don't show up soon im going to have to hunt that damned pack myself." He scowled as he crossed his arms impatiently. He managed to wait a few more minutes before he turned and strode into the forest behind him to vent some anger on the wolves, drawing his guns from the holsters on his hips as he did. He slowly made his way through the forest, his dark skin and hair granting him some camouflage in the darkness of the night.
He heard movement to his left and quickly turned, lifting up his guns to aim towards the sound as he squinted, trying to spot what had moved before he blinked in confusion when he noticed something faintly glowing in the distance. After a moment of silent debating he started cautiously making his way over to the glow, his curiosity winning out for now.
As he got closer he realised that the glow was coming from a black fist sized oval stone with peculiar green markings, which where the source of the glow. He looked around with a frown before holstering his guns and carefully nudging the stone with his boot, bending down to pick it up when nothing happened.
"How strange." he said quietly as he turned the stone over in his hands, surprised at how heavy it was compared to its small size. After puzzling over the markings for a bit he straightened up, putting the stone in a pocket before he started making his way back to the camp to see if Syvan and Agatha had arrived, as those two would have a better chance of identifying it then he did.
Unfortunately for him, the pair hadn't arrived yet, so he sat down on a rock and tossed log in the fading flames before pulling the stone out again to examine it in better lighting, lifting an eyebrow when he noticed hairline cracks covering its surface that he was sure hadn't been there before. He heard wing beats and looked up to see a gray and blue dragon fly over his camp, causing him to smirk as he stood up and waited for Syvan to land.
"Took you arse holes long enough!" Dirge shouted with a grin as Syvan finished landing and Agatha hopped off his back. "Its not my faults Agatha cant read a map!" Syvan replied, folding his large wings against his back before he noticed the stone in Dirge's hand. "what do you have there?"
Dirge shrugged as Agatha walked over. "I have no fucking clue. I was hopping you two could figure that out." he said before glaring at the Druid as she snatched the stone out of his hand and started to look it over. "I think its an egg." she said after a bit, frowning as she ran her fingers over its surface. The Gunslinger lifted an eyebrow "Excuse me? did you just say what I think you said?" He said in confusion as Syven walked over to get a better look at the egg.
"Any idea what creature the egg came from?" The dragon asked as he lowered his head to sniff it, causing Agatha to shake her head and hand it back to Dirge. He gave her an incredulous look. "you don't know? That's hard to believe" He said as he took the egg and looked at it, tilting his head as he noticed the cracks he had spotted earlier had grown. Syvan tilted his head as he looked at the markings covering the egg and then he drew his head back, reaching into a satchel tied to his hind leg and pulling out a book to look through it. Dirge noticed and lifted his head to look at him.
"What's up?" He asked warily, hopping that the dragon wasn't planning on casting some kind of spell. Syvan glanced at him and then said; "I'm pretty sure I've seen those markings before, in this book." Agatha blinked and then quickly ran over to the dragon to see, not seeing Dirge suddenly look down at the egg as it shook in his hands.
"Ah, here we go." Syvan said as he lowered the book so that his druid friend could see while a panicked expression started to spread over Dirge's face. Agatha craned her neck to see the pages of the book. "Time runes? why would an egg be covered in time runes off all things?" She said before her eyes went wide in realisation and she quickly spun around to face Dirge as a small reptilian snout poked itself out of large crack in the egg.
"Dirge. Don't Fucking Move." Agatha said slowly as she watched him grow pale. The creature in the egg made a high pitched chirp and continued breaking its way out of the egg, and after a few tense moments a slim raptor like creature with short spines on its head and hips clombered out of the egg and onto Dirge's arm, the markings on the egg fading away before similar gear like markings lit up on the creatures shoulders and legs.
Dirge carefully sat down so he wouldn't drop it and then froze as the creature looked at him with golden eyes, and at the same time he heard Syvan say: "Well shit.
