In the beginning, Calica and the realm it is apart of was empty save the flora and fauna; one day a bright glowing portal opened in a plain and out spilled over a dozen humans of Varying ages. When All had finished coming through the portal closed. Their leader despite being the one of the youngest looked around before turning to adress the crowd.

"Every one this realm will be our new home once we have made it safe for our people we will send a team back through another portal to lead the rest of our kind here."

With that she turned began to remove her pack and pitch her tent. Her familiar a young dragon cled around her shoulders as she finished. Addressing the others once more,

"The Magia people have suffered for to long, this camp will be our home base until we have mapped this realm and found the required supplies needed to open the portal back to our original world that said you all know your tasks so let us begin."

Months passed and while it was a struggle due to the fact that the realm had no magic and wouldn't until the utterance of the first spell the day arrived after many a near death experience the preparations for the portal spell were finally almost complete. A girl who appeared to be fifteen and her hawk familiar approached and asked

"Pheonix what are we going to call this realm the elders said it would need a proper name in order to open the portal from our side,"

"I would like to call it Magia Terra, after all ot appears to be like the Earth we were forced to leave behind."

"Magia Terra, it feels right, I like it; I'm gonna go tell the others."

"Is the ritual ready?"

"Yes!"

Pheonix approached the ritual circle raised her hands and called out

" Deos et Magorum Maiores oro ut portam a Terra Magia Terrae Matri Gaiae iterum aperias(Gods and ancestors of the Magi I beseech you open the portal from Magic Earth to Mother Gaia once more)."

As Pheonix lowered her hand the Portal  appeared and with an explosion of power that sent wind rushing in all directions magic in Magia Terra came to be
