Backstory:
Prior to the Roxxon Corp blow up, he was a skilled chemical engineer and worked on one of the rigs. He was always consider a 'dreamer', finding it as a way to escape the horrors of real life away from work. He was one of the few whom had strong encouragement for the stopping of the rig, having begun to see the risks of moving forward with it. However, his battle was lost and the work continued.

When the rig had blown up, Dallas was one of the dozens affected; yet, compared to becoming a terror like his coworkers, he didn't. He had already been living in his worst nightmare, and there wasn't anything that he fear more than his actual current life. This led for the dark-force to manipulate into his abilities.

He was driven mad by them at first, going onto what he believed the brink of insanity. He begun attempt to drown his madness with alcohol, steady steering himself into unhealthy coping mechanisms. Eventually, everything became too much and he snapped, letting himself go as he dug into the darkness now within him.

When he had done so, he began to see what he could truly do now. At the same time he heard whispers and calls to him. It wasn't long before he soon following them, finding himself with a being named Nightmare.
Soon he began being Nightmare's assistant and started to master his abilities.

Now in his eyes, everyone will soon see what true fear is like.
