Asterin had the worst cases of wrong place, wrong time; giving she was tracking down a few tagged foxes, only to come across a not exactly pleasant facility. She was considered the first with testing of this stone, later dubbed the mind stone. While it was viewed as a failure, as what good of a threat would something that seemed to impose harm upon itself. Soon the place was considered compromised and locations moved, however all alive subjects were left abandoned to perish.

While she did eventually transition back to a level of somewhat normalcy, a fear of touch developed. All the thoughts and feelings back too much at times, resulting in her own breakdowns from overwhelmed. From this she begun to seclude herself more in an effort of limiting the overwhelming of everything.

An emergence occurred on Earth-1560 and the planet was quite literally beginning to fall apart. At the same time, the multiverse tore and rifts begun to form. One moment Asterin was trying to find her bearings through the shaking of the ground, the next she was lying on the ground with two wizard-dressed people surveying her in confusion.
