Sarah's P.O.V

As soon as The Order calmed down, Tails then told us all that When Eggman's plan is completed, we'd all be wiped out. That wasn't good, and I think Knuckles can agree.

"I don't like the sound of that. Normally I'd just laugh at an Eggman plan, but he's already conquered most of the world. So what's this plan of his?"

Then Axel & Vector butted in through the communicators.

"Hey, Axel and I hate to butt in on your important meeting, but we're under attack!"

"Shadow and now...Daisy are tearing through our troupes! We need reinforcements!"

WHAT?

"Shadow. The last time we saw him he was working for Eggman." Sonic then looked at me for confirmation but he noticed my scowl and didn't say anything.

"Daisy...why? I thought I trusted my own sister."

"That doesn't make sense. Why would either of them help the enemy?" Knuckles asked and then Petra made a hypothesis.

"Perhaps they're being controlled by that strange power. It reminds me of an awful of that corrupted computer."

"Why not say PA-"

"Please, Jesse...don't. I hurt my sister in that...time and place. There's no time for regret here."

"Well, whatever it is, Sonic & I will figure it out," I added as the pair of us raced to Sunset Heights.

"What the heck?! A whole army of Death Egg Robots?!" Vector yelled.

"Oh no! There's so many of them!"

"Hurry, Sonic! Mystery! We can keep them in check but not for long!" Silver yelled and before I was about to reply...Sonic replied for me.

"No worry! We'll find Shadow and Daisy and be back in no time!"

We raced through more rubble. Glad to know that no one is in those buildings.

"This many Death Egg Robots? Come on, seriously?!"

"I'm not one to complain. But that's a lot, right? Way more than we can reasonably take on!"

We raced a tad bit more and then Amy yelled.

"Listen up! Shadow & Daisy have been sighted! Apparently, they're travelling above the city at high speeds!"

The more we raced, the more nervous I got. Until...

"The last sighting was just up ahead, be careful, you two."

We reached them.

I slowly walked up to Daisy. I growled.

"Hey, Daisy, Sis."

"Hmph." That was all she said to me. I snapped.

"Okay! What is up with you?! What's the deal!?" Before I could say anything, she began racing towards me and I felt time stop. Suddenly it all change to white and we....we were inside PAMA again? I chuckled.

"I didn't take you for the sentimental type, sis. But if this is what it takes for you to talk then bring it on!"

Then...PAMA spoke...

"Your bravery will be very useful to me, Creator." it smiled as the pair of us fought and I was able to dodge and hit her.

It took around 5 or ten minutes....but I ended up knocking her down. We teleported back to...where we found them and I was about to knock her out but she used Chaos Control to freeze me. But then...

"GET AWAY FROM MY SISTER!"

The other Daisy...was gone.

"Another Daisy? That one just disappeared!" I yelled. I was quite shocked.

"That was a fake."

"A fake? How!?" I asked.

Then Shadow looked at me. "Didn't that fight feel weird in any way for you?" He asked.

"Well...I was back inside PAMA....while it was still activated..." I told him and he just grunted at me.

"So you have trouble believing that duplicates exist but you have no issues fighting in a computer that was deactivated by Jesse years ago sis?" Daisy told me.

"Yeah...that kinda slipped my mind, hey did we ever get to commentate in the new Builder games too? did we do anything about that?" I asked.

Daisy hugged me and I said, "Okay...I'm glad to have you back."

"Where's the zipper to this suit?" She asked herself, clawing at my back.

"Ow, wow stop!" I told her as I pushed her off. She looked at me confused.

"Heh..funny story sis...I got changed into a hedgehog..."

"Oh...Well, I'll tell you what is up with those fakers on our way back."

"Right."

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

The Order had split into smaller groups as we got ready for our next mission. And then Knuckles spoke up.

"Listen up! We just got word that Eggman's forces are undermanned at his headquarters in Metropolis!"

"They're probably staging somewhere else as part of Eggman's plan. This could be our only chance to take the city." Espio and everyone else silently agreed and then Olivia added to his comment.

"Exactly! That's why we're focusing a full-frontal assault on Metropolis! I'm calling it, Operation: Big Wave."

"Who cares what it's called?" Petra added.

"What's important is to have a well-thought-out strategy." Silver continued.

"Knuckles thought up this strategy in about a minute and a half. We're going in hard and fast. and we're not going to stop until Eggman's army is destroyed." Knuckles then added on to Olivia's speech.

"Sonic & Mystery are busy fighting Shadow & Daisy, but the rest of us can do this! We've got the strength and the spirit to win. There's no finer group that I'd wanna fight with."

Vector & Axel seemed impressed.

"Hah! Great speech! Let's give Eggman an old fashioned beat down!" Then Scarlett butted in.

"They have more in sheer numbers. So the idea of a quick focused attack isn't bad."

"We also have Sonic & Mystery. I...I mean the other Sonic & Mystery. So I have no doubts that we could win this!" Tails continued but Scarlett then added on.

"Also, if we can destroy the Phantom Ruby, we should be able to send the other Sonic & Mystery home! At least I hope so...this is all-new territory for me."

"Okay, let's head straight for Eggman's HQ. Time to save the world people!"Olivia yelled.

We all nodded. My group was just Jesse, Nora and me. We raced to Metropolis and the mission began as we got intel on the plan.

"Alright. Time for Operation: Big Wave! We'll surge forward and sweep the enemy away!" Knuckles told us...but who talked next really shocked us all. Actually. Just me. I might have been the only one to catch the signal.

"How absurd! What can that rabble do with an all-out attack?! I'll smash them all to smithereens!"

Eggman. How I wanted to pound him to a pulp! That can't be good.

As soon as we leapt on a speed pad ramp thing. Don't know what they're called. We were in the air for a while. Then we saw....them.

Romeo & Infinite. They did not look pleased with us. At all.

"Infinite, Romeo. Activate the Phantom Rubies! Make them wish they'd never been born!" Eggman barked at them. I could feel that he was smirking.

The world changed and this is what I saw. I was upside down and I had to avoid Romeo's attacks.

"Stay calm. What you're seeing isn't real." Knuckles told everyone.

It seems pretty real to me! It's not just me tripping every way to Sunday, is it now?!!

"It's no use. Our troops are scattering in the confusion!"

"This is bad!" Silver yelled. Thank you Captain Obvious! "Our forces were all gathered together, and now they're plunged into chaos!"

We had to walk up buildings like it was nothing! And then Romeo threw Jesse to another group!

"JESSE!"

PERFECT. Then the intercoms were plaguing my ears.

"This is Eagle Squad! We're caught under enemy crossfire!"

"Snake Squad! Requesting reinforcements!"

"This is Fox Squad! We can't hold out much more!"

"80% of our forces have been wiped out and we've lost contact with the rest!" Amy told us.

"One flip of the Phantom Ruby switches and everything falls apart on us!" Petra admitted.

"The rookies are our only hopes now!"

Olivia. PLEASE. Think about what you just said. Your most seasoned forces can't deal with this and....your only hope is me and Six. No offence if you ever read this. But you can be SUCH a terrible commander when it comes to keeping people calm sometimes.

"Grr. We can't go on like this!"

"As much as it pains me to say it. The best we can do now is to live to fight another day." Ivor concluded.

"RUN FOR IT!"

We did what Charmy said. What we didn't know...we were heading straight for Romeo & Infinite.

"Our Big Wave has washed out."

"We haven't lost. Let's fall back and regroup." Silver said as we got to a section of the path so we could walk as of now. But then I overhear Infinite talking to himself.

"More ants to crush. I wonder if this world could give us a real challenge." We walked up hesitantly. Romeo spotted us. We gasped softly as Nora held my arm.

"And as if to answer, the world sends us two trembling children."

Romeo teleported to my ear. I hated what he said. 

"Are you going to fight & die here? Or run away in fear again?"

We backed up but then I had an idea. But not before I heard in my head.

"Hey don't be scared. This is your moment to shine!"

Sonic's confidence...we needed that...it could help us defeat them!

"Keep going. Don't let your fear own you."

We both held out our closed fists toward the pair. But before we could open them. Romeo said.

"Fine. We will teach you Fear. Then Pain. Then...at least the fear and pain will end." he chuckled. Using my dead dad's voice REALLY didn't help either.

We opened our hands and showed them the communicators. They swiftly took them and admired them slowly...

Before they crushed them in their hands and gave them back to us. Infinite chuckled.

"Oh pity. You two are more of a lost cause than I first thought. No matter. One of you will be of use to us soon."

Huh? Before I could think any further. The fight began.

"You two must be stragglers who got left behind. The strong will always vanquish the weak. You have only your frailty to blame."

We had to dodge lots of obstacles. But what I wasn't aware of...as I was dodging. I was unaware of putting something on piece by piece.

"Well, well. It seems behind that fear is a spark of defiance. And those eyes...I feel like we met before."

Then we defeated them. But I felt heavier. I shrugged it off for now.

"You put up quite the fight. I underestimated just how desperately the feeble cling to life."

Then they tried to hit us again and Infinite then said.

"I remember you two." He did! He remembers all those adventures we had? "You two ran from us before. You survived then. But you throw it all away now. Curious." Then he made tons of cannons. Nora held her prototype. "This will be goodbye." he shot. She used the ruby. We were safe!

"What? How is this possible? It can't be. How did you?" We dodged more of his attacks and he hit Nora to the floor.

"NO!" Wait a second.

My voice was different. I felt the...suit? What was this?!

"No matter. They have only two days left. Let them contemplate the inevitable until we end this once and for all. Romeo. You know what to do with her."

"What, what are you doing?!" I asked.

Six's P.O.V

Romeo chucked a bucket of water on top of her...suit she now wore...she laughed.

"HAHAHA! That was noth--"

*SNAP! SNAP! SNAP!*

She stopped speaking and fell to the floor. She wasn't dead. But she lost a bit of blood. Romeo took her with him. I stayed put and I raced to the others.

I had to tell them why we entered the resistance in the first place. And tell them the shocking news.
