Mavis is alike and different from the regular Slytherin. She's ambitious and cunning. She can handle any situation with a headstrong attitude. She can sometimes come of as rude when it's obvious she doesn't like you. Unlike what a lot of people think of Slytherins, Mavis is a social butterfly. She has at least one connect in every house, of every year. She's a very happy go lucky person and finds joy in making her friends happy. Her closest friends at the people that others find to be "evil". She hates how the werewolves are always judged for no reason or how the muggleborns are tormented daily for something they couldn't help. So she helps them.

Mavis was raised in a slightly gothic family. Her family was mostly Slytherin's with once very now and then a family member being in a different house. Her brother was one of them, being in Hufflepuff. Her mother was a tailor, making the majority of the clothing she wore and her father worked in a jewelry store, where she also earned the skill to create jewelry. Being a pureblood, her parents knew she would receive her letter to Hogwarts.
