BOOK ONE

Taylor Whitman is the manager at a San Francisco hotel working on a morning-day shift. Under her control are two wild car employees who are her friends Katy and Shaun. Upon all of her people, they keep her on her feet. But getting on a bus one day with them causes her life to get crazy.

When three people from Shaun's father's organization, the Ten Rings, come to collect an Amulet. Taylor Whitman must reveal that she isn't who she says she is. As she must help a man who she never expected to be a part of something more...her own employee in being a part of this bigger situation.

... but everything changes as she must go with Katy and Shaun...no Shang-Chi in helping to stop his father from doing whatever it is he's doing with his amulet and his sister. As Taylor Whitman...no Ehuang Da-Xiu must suit up and take up the mantle of her superhero persuna once again.

In other words, Ehuang Da-Xiu or Ehuang Di Xiu-Whitman ━ must help Shang-Chi and Katy ━ stop his father from destroying the world. What could possibly go wrong?
