Questioning

Now after coming up from the trail that seemed to be walked into the small stream and sides Jonas and Max walked a bit down the road. Jonas had every intention of walking the rest of the way into town, but Max had some other plans. Veering off a bit he approached a black Porsh with convertible top. It was older, you could tell but was restored to a lovely car and treated well. Opening the drivers door Max climbed inside and started the car. "Hop in" he said to Jonas. Who stood there staring at him before laughing gently. "Yeah…no. I don't get into cars with wanna be pedophiles" Jonas said softly, not knowing the real age of Max but knew he wasn't younger then him.

Max sighed as he stared at Jonas, leaning on the window as one hand held the steering wheel. "Come on, what's the worst that could happen?" He asked softly. Jonas rolled his eyes, 'Could get raped…or killer's he thought before sighing audible "Fine." With that Jonas made his way to the passenger seat and got inside. Smiling Max turned his car around and started towards town. "So looking to go somewhere in particular?" Max asked softly glancing over to Jonas. Looking out the window, Jonas was examining the scenery as they approached the town not even hearing Max. Compared to the big city it was so quiet and calm here. "Hey, you alright?" He heard before finally snapping out of it. Jonas looked over at Max and shrugged, "Fine…why?" He asked. "You went silent, everything alright?" Max asked, raising an eyebrow at him. "Yeah, just never seen a place like this except in books" Jonas answered softly looking back out the window. "Rather lovely." With a soft laugh, Max looked at the road giving Jonas a horrible feeling. "So uh…where are we going?" Jonas asked as the car cruised into the town.

"Well what are you looking to do?" Asked Max calmly showing down to slowly move through the small town. Jonas looked out his window, examining the shops and stores the rested beside each other. "I'm not sure, none of these spots are like the ones I'm used too" he said calmly. "How about lunch, my treat" Max said pulling over in front of a cute little mom and pop diner. The two got out and went inside, "Hey Max! How's your day going deary~" came a loving voice of a women as she approached the young man. The two hugged and he kissed his cheek, "I'm good Marlene, just here for lunch." Nodding gently the women was about to take him to a seat when she noticed Jonas. "Oh! Is this a date!?!" She said joyfully moving to examine Jonas like an excited mother would. Max stood there sighing gently with an annoyed but calm look upon his face. "No, Marlene. I meet Jonas walking into town. He's new around here" said Max as he softly got her attention off Jonas. The shocked boy blushed and soon put his hood up to hide him self crossing his arms. Jonas was stubborn but easily embarrassed. Calming down, Marlene showed the two to a table and gave them menus.

The two sat in silence, each reading over their menus calmly. Max glanced across to Jonas every few moments seeming worried by the quietness. "Jonas..?" Said Max softly. Jonas kept his face covered by the menu not answering for a minute. Then he gently set it down and quietly got up. "I'm not comfy anymore… I'm gonna head home" he said swiftly, before speed waking out the door. His head was lowered the whole time, as he moved on ignoring the calls from the other as he followed. Jonas moved faster as he heard the car door in the distance, just wanting to go home. To many, they would think he was overreacting but in his old home he was battling with his orientation…he wasn't sure why he found guys attractive but knew he was suppose to be with a girl. It was how things were suppose to be..or so his school liked to express. And having that women think the two were on a date just made him realize he didn't mind it…even though he was told by many others he should!

Jonas hurried on, moving as quick as he could to avoid contact with Max or..anyone really. Approaching the covered bridge, Jonas completely forgot about the fit and moved inside without thought. Then as a horn rung through the closed space his eyes shot up looking dead into the two on coming head lights. Tires screeched and the lights got closer before all went black…
