The After and Provoked (Part 2)
****(Theme Song Break)****
The sky ship autopilots itself back to its original resting point. The entrance opens to allow it to fly through. Sliding into the sand, yet controlled, the ship makes it stop. Everyone begins to meet at the stairway being provided for getting off when fully docked. Devon and Troy are on the ground first, followed by Savannah and Ravi. The next three catch up at their own pace due to wanting to look around a little, "This is pretty cool."
"I thought the ship just whips out ropes and we slide down." Nate says after his girlfriend.
"I thought the same, but I didn't steer this time." Troy replies.
"This is your first time being here?" asks Devon.
"Yep. And you're right, it's pretty cool." Troy agrees with Zoey when he has his turn in looking around.
"So, are we keeping the Morph X stashed here for the night?" Ravi questions.
"Kent doesn't know where this place is and we need to keep it that way. As long as he has nothing to track the barrels with, it'd be best to leave them here." Savannah answers this time.
"I scanned the barrels before we landed. The only thing on them were out transporters." Nate notifies.
"Then we're good. And hopefully you grabbed them because I don't know about you, but I don't feel like walking back." Troy retorts.
"Says the guy that runs every morning." Savannah counters that.
"Well I think I've covered my running for a while, wouldn't you say?" Troy inquires and Savannah gives a slight nod in response, "Fair enough."
"Do you wanna call your mom to let her know we're staying?" Nate queries.
"Nah, I'm pretty sure she's awake." Savannah responds as the door behind them closes, locking in the ship.
"Alright, let's go then." Devon says. Steel hangs onto his brother while Troy has Savannah's hand. The team teleports their way back to the house.

"Ugh! Why would she take so long? I should've threatened her with Elaine." Carla ponders on the patio floor, standing and waiting.
"Mrs. Rivers?" Jake questions from the door in confusion and she turns back, "Is everything okay?"
"Yeah I'm alright, what are you doing up?" Carla asks.
"I got hungry." Jake tells her.
"I would've brought you something." Carla says.
"Eh I'm feeling better." He replies as he carefully walks over to her, "...Well mostly." Carla nods, "Savannah hasn't come back yet?"
"She's on her way back now, maybe Troy found her or something." Carla tells him.
"Yeah he's been gone too, he probably went to go check on her." Jake says.
"That better be the case." Carla hopes for.
The two then hear a sound going off behind them. They turn around and hear voices chattering near the door. The entrance creeks. The group attempts to sneak into the house. However, they quickly find out their efforts were futile. All of their eyes are wide with surprise upon seeing the duo already outside, "So much for walking in to talk."
Steel's comment described the situation wonderfully. Seeing as this would not go over so smoothly, Savannah starts talking first, "So...hey."
"Where have you been?" Carla questions.
"Out. You know I love the night." Savannah replies to her.
"You were with her?" Carla shifts her attention to the red ranger.
He nods, "Yes."
"Hi!" Jake greets the newcomers to break up the tension, "I'm Jake."
"Hey man, I'm Devon. This is Ravi," the red Beast Morphers introduces everyone down the line, "Zoey, Nate, and Steel."
"Hi." Zoey waves with a smile.
"Hey. So how did you guys meet?" Jake poses the central question.
"Well let me tell you, it was crazy. See we-"
"Think it's best if we let Troy and Savannah talk to you about that." Ravi cuts Steel off, "What we did want to know is if it was okay if we stay here for tonight?"
"Well-"
"They're Power Rangers from another dimension." Troy mentions.
"Really?" Carla asks.
"Really?" Jake repeats and then turns back, "What's your power?"
"We use Beast Morphers to put on our suits, I have cheetah DNA." Devon explains.
"I have the jacket rabbit DNA." Zoey says.
"I have gorilla DNA." Ravi speaks next.
"I have beetle DNA." Nate adds.
"And I have robotic and human DNA." Steel reveals.
"Wait what? How?" Jake was impressed.
"He bonded to my DNA when I created him." Nate tells him.
"Woah...that's awesome!" Jake smiles.
"And they can't leave until they fix their machine thingy." Savannah adds.
"Transporter." Nate corrects.
"Whatever." Savannah waves off, "It's just for tonight."
"Okay, I already have a feeling that I know where this is going." Carla pauses the conversation and points to the red ranger and her daughter, "You two in the chairs now." She then looks to the green ranger, "Jake, please show them to their rooms for the night."
The soccer player nods and everyone begins to head inside. Troy sits down in one of the patio chairs and Savannah sits beside him. Carla stands before the two, arms crossed, "Alright, what happened?"
Troy confesses first, "This was my idea..."
"But I was already thinking it before he brought it up to me," Savannah cuts in. Troy throws her a look and she shrugs, "What? You can't take all of the credit."
Troy sighs, "Anyway, we went to Kent's planet to see what he was up to."
"What?!" Carla reacts, "Are you nuts?! You two could've been killed!"
"You act like I've never been there before." Savannah counters.
"That was different and you nearly died there too!" Carla chastises her.
"We're fone Carla!" Savannah quarrels, eyes the red ranger, and looks back to her, "You know darn well what I can do."
"Still, you can't go in there! You should've told me about this. I would've helped you!" Carla rebuttals.
"We had help, it wasn't just us!" Savannah reminds her.
"Steel told us about how Kent's team stole Morph X from their dimension and brought it over here. They were planning to mix it with some weird yellow, glowing stuff." Troy backs her up in a more calm manner, "We made it in there just in time before they could try anything."
"Goodness, d-do you realize the mess we're in now?!" Carla retorts to him.
"So we should've let them mix whatever they had with the Morph X?" Savannah inquires as she rises out of the chair.
"I'm saying I don't want a bigger target on your back. You know he has it out for all of us, especially you!" Carla blurts out.
"What?" Asks the red ranger, "Why is he out for you guys?"
Carla sighs, "Nevermind that." she looks to her daughter, "Elaine is going to lose it-"
"When you tell her? Like how you snitch about everything I do?! Screw her! She wouldn't know the difference between a pickle and a cucumber when it's blatantly obvious!" Savannah snaps, "We stopped a dangerous plan from happening and bombed half of his planet. I'd call that a win!"
"You did WHAT?!" Carla roars louder.
"She didn't, I did. I used the cannons to help us escape. It was the only way to help fend them off." Troy jumps in again, standing up now to be the peacemaker. Savannah looks to him.
Words could not form properly for Carla at this point. She pinches her noise in aggravation, eyes closed, and lets out another sigh, "...Savannah go."
"What?" Savannah was puzzled.
"Go." Carla repeats herself, looking at her child now, and by the tone of her voice, you did not want to ask again. The redhead looks to Troy one last time and proceeds to leave to head inside. The door shuts and the dragon leader faces Mrs. Rivers, "I'm-"
"No." Carla puts her hand up to stop him, "Don't even, I've heard enough."
"Mrs. Rivers-"
"Troy." Carla interrupts him once more, making the red ranger a little nervous, "...Thank you."
"For what?" Nervousness turns into confusion.
"For being with her. Despite the circumstances, she seems comfortable with you." Carla clarifies.
"She said she was going to go with or without me." Troy tells her.
"With what ride?" Carla inquires.
"....True." Troy realizes.
Carla, for the third time, sighs, "Alright, I'm tired because I was waiting for the two of you to come back. I'm going to bed." She walks passed the red ranger to get to the door. She turns back to point at him to warn, "This isn't over."
Troy watches her go inside and shut the door. He lets out a breath and looks to the stars, praying for the next confrontation to go a lot smoother.

Will stands as straight as he can and has the army of soldiers standing battered and bruised. The ship flies from above and begins to land in front of everyone. The engines slowly died down once the door opened. Each passenger shows their faces when they come out one by one. Will eyes them as they go by. One of the soldiers makes a comment to him, "Good luck."
Heeding his warning tone, Will awaits for his commander to arrive.
He was the last one to leave the fly mechanism. His demeanor was one of mystery, which was not a good sign. Firm and attentive, the entire group is standing and patiently anticipating the words about to vacate their chief's mouth. Step by step, movement by movement, he becomes closer and closer to his men. The men who have fought by his side for many years. The same men who stood before him in failure.
Kent stops, turns face front, and peers at each soldier individually. Cold, mute, tension-filled...oh how nerve-racking this was. No one dared to look away, their eyes were glued in his direction. The ship shuts down for the night and others to work to return it. A deep breath flows into the air, which felt thick, and the leader takes his time to speak, "Do you see what's around us?" A pause in between, "Well, do you?"
He scoffs, "We are supposed to do what we do best...we are supposed to be invincible...this is our home and you've let those imbeciles invade and destroy it?" He starts to walk slowly, "I thought highly of you, I thought each and everyone of you brought something to the table that would defeat anyone that challenges us." He suddenly stops, "You've let me down." he looks to Will, swallows lightly, and goes over to him. Dead in the eye, he says the fee words any person would hate to hear, "I'm disappointed in you, I guess...I was mistaken when promoting you," He shakes his head, "You've hurt me."
"Kent..." Will resorted to first name basis out of guilt.
The leader does not show remorse, "You call me sir and only that." He turns away from him, Will looking down in the process, and addresses the group in front of him in a sharp tone, "None of you are allowed to go back home until further notice. Every ship is to be prepared to settle around Earth. We will be alert at all times and you will only leave for training and eating. Do not contact family members until I tell you to."
No one goads him, "If even one of you is caught leaving, sleeping, escaping, anything that defies my orders, you will be executed on the spot and WILL NOT LONGER BE RELEVANT ON THIS PLANET! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?!"
"Sir yes sir!" The whole group collectively answer.
"What?!" Kent queries again.
"SIR YES SIR!" Everyone complies.
Kent nods, "This is your word to me, don't break it. Hit the showers!"
The team obediently leaves, more so running than anything, to wash themselves. Will remains standing as if he did not hear the command. Kent sees him, the scowl beautifully present, and sends it his way. The two share a stare before one of them walks off, leaving the other to sigh.
