Skullie

Today is a new day and I'm super ready to prank the new kid known as the Hero of Legend! Ha! Let's see how heroic he looks when he's covered in Chu Jelly! Haha! This prank is going to be perfect! I even put in a yellow chuchu for a electric shock. It's perfect! He'll get shocked and covered in jelly that won't wash out for a week! It'll even attack him too! Heh heh heh!

I was walking through the park, minding my own business before going to school. I tripped forward when someone pushed me from behind. It was Ghirahim with his other demon friends...

"You fool! Get out the way!" He and his friends laughed before leaving me in the rain. Great... Now my clothes are wet. I ran to a large hollow knocked down log and used it for shelter. It's really cold... I'm always being pushed around like this. The only joy I can find in life is by pranking. Everyone is mean so pranking makes me feel better

I heard sniffles. I looked up and saw two little kids holding each other while crying and shivering "it's ok..." The little boy hugged the little girl

"Do you think theya still fighting..?" The little girl cried. I frowned and took off my jacket and placed it over their shoulders. They looked up surprised and stared at me. I smiled and sat in front of them

"Hey, why are you two out here on your own?" I like kids. I can relate to them much more than the kids my age

"Limk and Dimk were fightimg this mormimg... Them daddy joim im..." The boy said. Wow... He can't use some letters or what? He seems to like using the M letter, or can't say the N letter 

"Limk and Dimk?" I asked

"Our brothas..." The little girl frowned. She seems like she can't use the letter R. She shivered from the cold. I sat next to her and placed the kids on my laps to keep them warm. They hugged me for warmth

"Dimk is so meam..." The boy cried

"Dink is daakness..." The girl cried

"Dimk is evil..."

"Daddy is evil..."

"Why does Limk have to suffer..?"

"He's nevea home..."

"Because of Dimk..."

"We nevea see him..."

"How cam we help him if Limk is always so sad..?" The kids seem like they're going through some family trouble. They care about this Limk character more than the Dimk person. I wonder who these guys are

"It's okay, I'll stay with you here until the rain stops. Then I'll walk you home, okay?" I pet their heads

"You're really mice" the boy smiled

"What's yah name?" The girl asked

"Skullie"

"Yah a skull kid?"

"That's right"

"I'm Tael"

"And I'm Tatl" the kids smiled at me "we aa seceat faies" seceat faies?

"Secret Fairies?"

"Yes" she smiled "we aa the helpers of the geat heo!" I looked at her surprised

"We help Limk! But we're too little! If he grows, so will we! Amd mot by age either" Tael smiled. I really don't get it

"What aa you doing heae in pak?"

"I come here everyday before and after school"

"Really? So do we! But Limk didn't take us here because he looked stressed yesterday and today" Tael said

"Maybe we can see each otha again! Yah a nice skull kid!" Tatl smiled. I smiled and felt happy inside

"Wow... I haven't felt this happy in years..."

"Whem was last time?" Tael asked. I shook my head and ignored the memory. We suddenly heard someone shouting

"Tael! Tatl! Where are you?!" A guy's voice called

"It's Limk!" Tael cheered

"Wea hea!" Tatl yelled out. Someone came into the hollow log with a large umbrella that's hidding his face. The kids cheered and rushed over to hug him

"We knew you find us!" Tatl giggled happily. The boy chuckled and hugged them both with one arm while using the other to hold the umbrella. He gave Tael the umbrella so the boy can carry them in his arms

"Don't ever run away like that!" He frowned. I still couldn't see his face. I was trying to see it then pay attention to his outfit or anything else

"Sowwy..." Tatl frowned and hugged him

"We were scared..." Tael frowned

"Seeing you shout is scawy..." Tatl frowned "we could've helped, but we still too little" the boy sort of looked confused, then looked down at me. Under his umbrella was making his appearance dark

"This skull kid kept us wam with jacket" Tael showed him my jacket. The boy smiled and took the jacket to give it back to me

"Thank you for helping my little siblings. I don't know what I would do if I lost the only people I can keep close..." I slowly took the jacket back as he turned away while the kids waved to me happily "thanks Skullie" he walked away. I stood up quick and ran over to follow, but he and the kids were already gone

"How did... He know my name..?" I heard a song being played from far away. My eyes widened at the song... That's... Our song... Is it him?! My friend?!

Another song started playing, suddenly making the sun come back. I looked up in a frown and squeezed on my jacket "I... I must've been hearing things, there's no way that's him" I kicked a rock and started walking to school. I walked to a random door with a few strong looking kids inside. The only thing is... This isn't exactly a random class, it's the class Link has for first period... Knight Protection, a class where the Skyloft kids hangout sometimes at before they go out and watch over the school so that kids don't cause trouble. They use their big birds to surround the school outside and the others who never got birds stay guard indoors. This is where I'll set up my prank

Impa

I was filing some reports to the class, Knight Protection patrol, a class where only worthy Knights and protectors may be in. Our job is to protect the school inside and out. We are basically studying to be soldiers for Hyrule, I'm already going to be Zelda's Protector, since she's a Princess

The Knights in this class have been studying for 4 years and worthy men and women. Not all of them were chosen by Loftwings, but the ones who were are very lucky.

Skyloft is a island above the school where only worthy Knights are allowed in. They are welcome to make the island their home for a fee and patrol the school at night. If someone unworthy goes up there, they will be attacked by random Loftwings without owners. Many students who have been studying for years can't even go up here. You need a Loftwing to choose you. I have not been chosen, but my duty is to protect Zelda, nothing else. She has a Loftwing of her own, so if she does go up there, she'll be safe. No, she's not a knight, she's just a lovable worthy princess

I was speaking with the students about different areas they should patrol when I saw Skullie walk into the classroom with a bucket of something sparkling in electricity

"What are you doing?" I asked annoyed. This isn't like him to show others he's about to prank someone. I don't think that's how pranks work. Isn't it suppose to be secret?

"What does it look like?" Skullie giggled and made the door open a slight before putting it on the top in balance. I'm guessing he wants whoever to walk through the door to open it and get what ever is in that bucket.

"It looks like you're pretty stupid kid" I crossed my arms "all my Knights are in the room, no other person can come here without appointment, and there's no appointments" Skullie giggled and took a few steps back to wait for the door to open for someone

"Hey kid! Did you hear?" Groose asked "don't cause trouble! Move that thing now!" No one really takes Groose seriously without his Loftwing, not even Skullie

"Pipe down big guy, I'm waiting for this boy" Skullie giggled. I looked down at his short self confused before the door slammed open and made me take out my sword in reflex. The bucket was caught, dropped on the floor and stabbed with a average sword. Who ever killed whatever was inside picked up the bucket played around with what was inside

"Red Chu Jelly, I could probably sell this" I looked at the boys face and saw that it was Link's... Link? Why is he in here? He took out a empty bottle from his pouch and put in some red liquid inside before dropping the bucket in front of the shocked Skull kid "nice try" he looked up at me and flinched, then turned and tempted to walk off before I grabbed his shoulder

"Hold on you, explain why you came in here" I said casually. He sighed and handed me a piece of paper. I opened the paper confused and flinched at the sight of his first period "you have this class?!" Groose snatched the paper from me

"No way! A shrimp like you can't be a knight! You haven't been here for as long as we have!" He glared down at Link. Sure, he's confident now but if he sees Link's face, he'll pee his pants and freak for thinking he was Dark, but Link was hiding his eyes as usual

"Oh well, I'm out of here" Link turned to leave, but I grabbed his shoulder again

"Hold it new kid" he made a small noise that showed he was annoyed "why were you suddenly put into a advance class? At your grade? Without experience?"

"I don't want to be here, take me out this class. I don't care! I'm leaving" he kept trying to leave, so I grabbed him and knocked him to the wall. He groaned loudly "dammit! What's with everyone throwing me!? Do you wanna fight or something-?!" He flinched and looked down "sorry..." I furrowed my brows confused and pointed my large sword at him, but he didn't react

"Show yourself worthy to think you're able to speak to me that way" I saw him smirk a little

"And if I don't?" He looked at me with his blue eyes. They were longing for something...

"You'll receive a punishment" he chuckled and stood up, opening his arms

"Really?" Wait... He's closer to my sword than when I had first pointed it at him. What is he thinking I would do to him?!

"Hey! Knock that off!" I glared. He snorted and walked pass me. My eyes widened surprised as I aimed my sword at him, but he quickly took out his average sword and blocked my attack, leaning on my sword. I gasped surprised "what were you wanting boy? You wanted me to kill you? You dare try to do that to someone who tells Zelda everything?!" He looked down, still fighting me before pushing me off balance and point his sword at me. I gasped and saw tears running down his eyes

"What are you trying to say? You'll tell Zelda what happened here? Go ahead, it's good that she hates me... Nothing would make me happier" He walked away

"Hey! Get back here!" I stood up and pointed my sword at him again "weren't you two best friends when you were kids?" He stayed silent, just standing there "Answer me Link!"

"So what?" He turned to me with a sad smile "I prefer her hating me then get near me. Get her away from me, will yah?" He walked out the door. I dropped my sword and stared at the floor, then at Skullie staring at where Link left

"I don't get it..." I glared at the door "why was he transferred into this class? And why..." I looked at my hand I used to throw him to the wall "does he want the princess to hate him..?"

"Impa?" Groose called me. I waved my hand

"Go on patrol... Leave the boy alone... I'll deal with him later" everyone nodded and left the room, including the skull kid with his bucket.
