This path was impossible! I had to use the items in my pockets and backpack to get through this place. What's the point of all this again? There was a entrance with what looked like a fountain inside. Is this where I'm suppose to go?

I put away my clawshots, a tool I find useful, and walked to this mysterious fountain. The laugh I found annoying echoed around the place before a woman in the same clothes as Ms.Fairy appear in the middle of the fountain. I made a face and took a step back. Why do girls here like showing off their skin?

"Oh my! My! Look what we have here! If it isn't the new kid! Link! My Darling! I've been looking forward to meeting you since your enrollment" I rubbed the back of my head

"Yeah... look, I don't want to be here, but I don't want to go to class either so do whatever you want" she laughed

"You're very straight to the point are you? You took your time in that puzzle hallway, didn't you?" I shrugged

"Anyway to keep me out of class"

"What do you have against class? Tell me all your troubles. It's what I'm here for. Bo told me what happened earlier so speak all you want here. I promise nothing will get out" I sighed and sat on a step

"It's not class that I'm against. What makes me nervous is getting close to others..."

"Close to others huh?" I nodded and looked down at my lap

"I don't want anything to happen to anyone... I don't want the same thing to happen like it did to I-" I bit my lips "Ilia... I don't want anyone else getting murdered because I got too close to them. That's my goal here. To not make any friends... Even if I recognize a few" I closed my eyes "it's just for their protection... It hurts to not make any friends but I don't want them getting hurt" Ms.Fairy held her chin

"Young boy, you're worried about the wrong thing. If you're worried about your friends, or people, getting hurt around you, why can't you just protect them with your sword?" I humorlessly laughed at what she meant. She wants me to protect them physically

"Me? Protect them? No way... I couldn't even protect Ilia and Ben keeps getting in my head. Do you know how irritating that is?" She took off that smile off her face and looked at me confused

"Ben?"

"Oh please, like this woman is gonna help you" Ben laughed while floating over the fountain. I glared and aimed to punch him, but accidentally fell forward

"Awe! What's wrong, Link? Are you mad because you can't have friends?" He laughed

"Shut up!" I shouted and aimed for him again, but ended up jumping in the water.

"Who would anyone be friends with you? You watched Ilia getting sliced-" I gasped at the memory of blood everywhere and shouted

"No! Shut up! Shut up!" I pulled on my hair. My body was being levitated in the air and brought over to Ms.Fairy staring at me "put me down!" I snapped. She held my cheeks covered in tears

"My boy... You're shaking in fear..." I sobbed and looked away to remove her hand "where did this fear come from?" She grabbed my face and made her fingers glow with magic "your father and Dark is the cause of your fear..." I glared and moved her away again

"He's not my father!" I tried getting down but there was no way "he's not my father! And Dink isn't my brother!!" I coughed out blood "I'm not scared! Put me down now!" My body was slammed on the wall. Dammit... Why do I keep getting thrown to the wall..? I held my head and leaned on the wall

"I'm sorry..." I snapped without realizing, again "I... I couldn't control my anger..." I whipped away the blood from my mouth. Where did this come from..? Ms.Fairy walked towards me

"It's alright. You're courage, wisdom, has been taken from you. You still have power, by having power, you will have the ability to grow stronger and become brave and graceful... No more fear or anger or sadness. Though, sadness is what's going to help you grow, it's not going to slow you down, only if you let it" I sniffled and whipped my nose "let your power keep you strong for now. The more stronger you get, the better your life will be. Find your courage and wisdom"

"W-what happens when I do find them?" She laughed

"Then you'll have the ability to protect the ones you care about! Do you want to hold that ability?" I looked at my hands and smiled a little

"I do... Actually. Can that really be possible? I can... Be happy and protect the ones I care about?" She nodded and waved her hand to me, making my body glow like the Great Fairy of Magic did.

"I grand you a magic power" I smiled "It seems that this Ben character is the cause of your anger and sadness, or a reminder?" I looked away "who is Ben?" I smiled without feeling

"Who he is doesn't matter" I turned my back towards her and looked over at someone walking towards the fountain. I flinched at her familiar face and green hair and brought down my wet hood. It's Saria... Not another person I know... Seeing Navi was bad enough

"Hello? Sorry, am I interrupting something..?" Saria asked. She hasn't aged a bit...

"No dear, we're done" Ms.Fairy gave me a piece of paper "here's your schedule, you can go home and take a good rest. You've been through enough today. Come by my fountain before first period, got it?" I nodded and looked at my hands for a moment before realizing something was missing

"My ring!" I gasped and searched all over the place "oh no! Where's my ring?! Hylia gave that to me!"

"Hylia?" Saria came up to me. I flinched and made sure I was well hidden "why would you call the Queen by her name? That's disrespectful!" I looked at her confused

"Queen?" She looked at me surprised

"What? Have you been living under a rock?" She tried looking at my face, but I didn't let her "say... Who are you?" Oh! Maybe my ring is up where my Loftwing took me!

"Sorry! Gotta go!" I waved to her with my schedule and ran out the building. I'm so glad I made a shortcut after finding this fountain, it would be a pain to go through the puzzle again. And I'm so glad that Saria didn't see me, that would just add to the list of people I need to avoid, but if I find a way to find this courage and wisdom, I won't have to... I have power but...

I took off my wet glove and stared at the triangle mark on the back of my left hand. It... It was stinging "how am I going to look for all those?" I covered the mark as fast as I could and looked up at the rain pouring down outside. I'm already wet enough, I don't need rain bumming me out. I actually have hope this time...

I took out my ocarina to play the Sun's song Hylia taught me if I wanted the rain to stop. The ocarina is a strange thing... I don't exactly believe it, but Hylia said that this ocarina had magical properties after Zelda gave it to me... What Saria said was odd though... Hylia being the queen? That would be silly

After the rain stopped, I decided to call out to my Loftwing so it can bring me back up to the tree so I can maybe find my ring. It came in no time and actually came down with my ring in its beak

"Oh man, thanks pal" I pet it's head happily "I thought I lost it" I looked at the sky "think you can take me home? I'll show you my secret base" it picked me up by my shirt and threw me up so I could land on its back. I chuckled alittle and steered it home, just after my body suddenly started glowing for a second. That was weird... Oh well, I can go home. I'm not worried about anything right now

"Look" I pointed at my house in the middle of the field "that's where I live" I could see Epona racing brought the field "and that's my horse" I steered my Loftwing over to Hyrule Field towards a abandoned village sealed by large rocks so no one could get through. I jumped off and landed safely on my feet. The Loftwing settled itself on the second floor of a abandoned house "this is my secret base. No one knows about it. I've been spending all my time here ever since I was younger. I would often tell mom to never tell dad or Dink, or else I'll never have peace" I sighed and walked over to my ware shop, where my Loftwing followed and peaked at me through the open window

"What do you eat fella?" I went over to a box and took out some fruit "how's this?" It cheered and picked through the fruit until it found some apples and ate them instead. I chuckled "you're like Epona" I emptied my bag and laid on some hay. The abandoned village was previously a dump when I found it while I was suddenly thrown by guess who? Dad. He threw me far enough to bring me here and I've found my happy place. I fixed it up a little and store my precious items here I use to get through Hyrule smoothly. Thanks to my Loftwing, I can come here faster than crawling through a hole that was already getting too small for me

I went over to my gale boomerang and started working on it. It actually broke when Dink found it in my room. I just found this thing and he has the nerve to mess with my stuff! That's why my room is empty! All my stuff is here! Even some clothes for when I don't want to go home, but that's in a different house in the abandoned village

"Meow..." I looked down and saw one of the cats, Vennie, that roam around the land coming up to me, holding a pouch in its mouth

"What you got for me buddy?" It gave me the pouch without question. I emptied the pouch and took out two Golden Rupees "wow, this is a lot! I think I can have enough to find a sorcerer to help me fix this gale boomerang!" I frowned "If I was able to be friends with Lana, I'm sure she would help me" I sighed and laid on the hay "Courage... Wisdom... Power..." I closed my eyes and saw the smile on Zelda's face.

"Zelda... I lost Ilia... I can't loose you too... I can't loose anyone" I took off my glove and looked at the stinging make on the back of my hand "fear has overwhelmed me... Anger has taken over me... All I have is the power to run away..." I was falling asleep through the rain coming back "chosen hero..." My mind drifted into darkness and saw my body standing in front of Ordon Spring... Ordon Spring, the spring I worked so hard to bring back to life... It's now alive and well in the same spot it last was thanks to how much money I paid a sorcerer to bring it there, but how am I here..?

"Oh brave youth..." I looked up at a strange glowing goat above me "I am one of four light spirits that protect Hyrule at the behest of the gods. I am Ordona... The one you saved after the fire... Brave youth, you have protected me... Now protect the others that you want to hold dear, only then will you get your courage back"
