I spoke to Fi for a short moment before I was suddenly swept off by a large red bird! Ahh!!! What is this thing!? The bird had flew me up a large tree that was almost as tall as the academy and placed me on its nest

"Hey! I'm not food!" I glared. The big bird sat on the edge and whistled at my face. I started at it confused and mimicked it. It shook it's head and whistled louder. I whistled louder too, but it didn't seem to want it that low

"Why do you want me to whistle?" It just whistled "okay then" I whistled with my fingers loudly to please it. It flapped its wings happily and cuddled the side of its head on my chest. There was something in my heart that fluttered a little... "N-no!" I pushed it away "I can't get close to anyone! I don't want anyone getting hurt!" It just cried at me. It hurt my heart to do this "although... Dink never touches Epona or my other animals..." I slowly reached over to pet it's head. It cooed and cuddled with me again. I smiled and sat down on the nest to continue petting it's head "you're not gonna hurt me, aren't yah?" It just cooed. I sighed and rested my head on the edge of the nest "this would be a awesome place to get away from school and take a snap" I yawned "I am pretty sleepy. All that damn crying can drain all the energy from you" I rubbed the back of my head embarrassed "the truth is, I had to go to a mental facility for the past 5 years to help me with my crying problem and anger issues, not to mention help me get rid of that annoying boy that likes messing with my head. But I couldn't stand that place... So I pretended to be better. Which I'm really not" I sat up and stared at a strange island floating on top of the academy "this tree is pretty high... Maybe I can just end it all by jumping down here"

"Awe! Don't do that!" I flinched at the sound of a girl's voice and turned around, seeing a blue haired girl petting a small bird on her finger "you put all that effort into pretending to be better and get out that facility, why would you end your life after doing all that?" She bounced over to me, floated. I frowned and looked away "say, you have a familiar face"

"Yeah, you might recognize it from being close to looking like that jerk, Dink"

"Oh! Is he your evil twin?! Wow! We have so much in common already! I have a evil twin too!" I looked at her surprised "nice to meet you! I'm Lana! People call me a white witch!" She made a thick book appear in her hands and started speaking a different language. Something was falling from over my head. I took it and saw that it was the picture Bo gave me! I searched my pockets and saw that it was gone "you dropped this while you were running out the academy. Tell me bruised face" she came up to my face "why were you crying?" I moved away and turned to look at the island over the academy

"I don't want to talk about it. Men aren't suppose to cry"

"That's bull! Who ever said that is stupid! There's nothing wrong with a man crying!" She glared "we're all equal, aren't we?" I stared at her surprised before smiling, making her flinch and turn red, then frown and look away

"You're pretty smart. Since you're a witch, I guess you're stronger than Dink?" She giggled

"Dink? You mean Dark?" I rolled my eyes "no, no one is stronger than him" I rolled my eyes again "are you?" I stayed silent "say... Have you pulled on the Master Sword yet?"

"I don't care for it" her face was too close to mine

"Huh?! Why not! Don't you want to be the chosen hero of the gods?!" I bit my lips

"Look... I'm no hero, okay? And if you were smart, you'd stay away from me. Trust me..." I stood up and reached for the edge of the tree "save yourself before you get hurt..." I was going to jump before I started hearing my name

"Link?" I looked up to see that one girl with the casual open skin and orange hair, known as Dark's ex hopefully, flying around looking for me

"Who's that?" Lana asked

"My brothers ex girlfriend"

"Oh right, she's the Twilight Princess! She's popular in school! But not as popular as Zelda" I blushed a little from the name and held my cheek. It doesn't sting anymore, but it hurt when it was she that hit me... The thought of her hating me got to me, but I knew Ben was lying. Even if he was being truthful, it wouldn't matter if she hated me "but why is Midna here? Shes too close to Skyloft. She's not a knight. She'll get killed!" I looked at Lana confused "basically, That island is called Skyloft. It's only for students who have been studying to be Knights all through their high school years. It's like a hangout place and they even live there if they want. Only those Knights are allowed up there. Knights are granted Loftwings sometimes, the Loftwing chooses you, not the other way around, which is this guy right here" she looked at the red Loftwing near my leg "Loftwings choose their worthy knight, and this Crimson Loftwing, the rarest of Loftwings, has chosen you as its knight, so now that your scent is on it, the other Loftwings won't come and kill you if you come too close to Skyloft. But Midna is not a knight, she's going to get killed by the Loftwings if she doesnt get out of there"

"I don't get it. This rare Loftwing chose me but I'm not a knight" Lana held her hip

"Seriously? Do I have to spell it out for you? I want you to pull on that Master Sword after you help that girl!" I made a face

"What's the Master Sword got to do with this?" She groaned and faced me towards Midna in the rain

"Hurry before the Loftwings get her! Drop down here and whistle as loud as you can! That'll make your Loftwing hear you from where ever you are and give you a lift! Whistling is a somewhat connection sound the the Loftwings and Knights share" She snapped her fingers and put something on my Loftwing's neck "you can control flight with this! Now go!" She pushed me to the end of the large branch I was on. I sighed and ran through the branch until I was out in the rain

"Midna!" I called. She looked over at me and gasped happily before putting on a annoyed glare

"I have been looking for you forever!"

"Why?" Her cheeks went more red then they already were

"B-because! You were crying!" I brought my hood down to cover my eyes embarrassed "sorry for pointing that out... We were just worried about you" I frowned and looked away

"Please don't... Just get back down. I don't want you to worry about me. I'm not worth it"

"Just shut up and let's go! It's cold ah!" Midna was suddenly attacked by a large black bird, making her pass out and fall to her death. I gasped and jumped down to catch her. Once I did, I whistled loudly like Lana said and landed on top of the red Loftwing. H-hold on! How do you fly this thing!?

The black birds were aiming to hit us "Lana! You said these Loftwings wouldn't hurt me if mine had my scent!" I shouted while trying to fight the birds with my hands

"Those aren't Loftwings! Here!" Lana waved her hands and made a average sword appear in my hands "use that to defend yourself! You do know how to use it! Right?" I nodded and stared at the sword "make sure your flying your Loftwing or you'll fly into something!" I looked at my Loftwing for awhile before I found out how I could to fly it. I got it fast and started fighting off the dark birds while keeping Midna close so she won't fall.

The battle was short and I had no idea how to get down to the ground "just jump! Watch your feet! Maybe you can use your hood as a sailcloth?! Or here!" She waved her hands and send me a blanket. I opened it and safely landed in the wet field. I placed the blanket over Midna's head and rushed her back to the Academy to look for the nurse office, the place where I was suppose to go anyways, but there was students all over the place. They all stared at us confused. I could hardly see with my wet hood covering my eyes, but I kept running until I heard someone yelling

"Hey!" I looked to the side and saw that one talkative girl I met earlier "what do you think you're doing!?"

"Looking for the nurse office!"

"That's the wrong way genius! Follow me!" I started following her to the nurse office that was in the opposite direction I was already running. I sighed while the girl was breathing heavily. I shook my head and placed Midna on a near by bed while she slept. I sighed in relief and walked away

"Saved you from death again huh?" I asked myself "making it hard to accept that I'm just a failure. Stop that" I chuckled

"Who are you talking to?!" The girl glared at me "I'm going to report you to the principal for being out in the rain instead of being in class" I removed my hood and placed my finger on my head. She flinched and stared wide eyed, in fear

"Do what you want, I don't care little fairy" her face went red

"M-my name is Navi!" I pet her head. She was really short

"I don't know why you're yelling" she slapped my hand away

"Who are you?! You're not Dark! Are you?!" She took a step back, shaking a little but held her glare

"Hello!" A woman in odd clothes and heavy makeup walked in. She was showing more skin than Midna was. Aren't these girls cold? Navi has her stomach and legs exposed and wearing open toe shoes for crying out loud "what happened here?" She walked up to Midna

"She was attacked by some dark birds outside before I fought them with a sword I dropped" I shrugged

"You have a sword behind you genius" Navi said. I looked down to see kind of belt to hold a sheath behind me with the sword Lana gave me inside... Huh? I thought I dropped this thing "so what you're saying you saved the Twilight Princess? Since when you save people?" Didn't she just say she knew I wasn't Dink?

"Ah, the new student. Hello there darling" the nurse came close to me while laughing a irritating laugh. She placed her finger under my chin to take a good look at me "Bo told me you were coming here to treat your wounds" she grabbed my arm and saw the blood stain on my hoodie I didn't even notice. She sprinkled some fairy dust on it and blew some in my face to make me cough

"Hey" I groaned and waved away the extra dust from me. My numb body was normal again "oh... Thanks" she laughed that laugh again

"My name is Ms.Fairy, but my full name is the Great Fairy of Magic!" She stared into my eyes before I sneezed to the side "I can feel great power in you my dear"

"Great power, ha!" Navi and I said at the same time. We looked at each other before she rolled her eyes and walked to the exit "I'm out of here" I ignored her and looked back at the Great Fairy staring at me

"I'm going to give you a great power my dear, take care of it will you?" My body suddenly suddenly started glowing "I recommend you looking for my other sisters. The Great Fairy of Wisdom, Kindness, Power, and Courage! You will meet the Great Fairy of Courage in the councilors office. The door behind me will lead you to her office. But you have to solve a few puzzles! She's not easy to look for for help!" She winked. I looked over at the door she was pointing at, then Midna still sleeping, then Navi still staring at me, I thought she left. I ignored her and walked through the door, seeing a large hallway right in front of me. The door closed slowly behind me

"Good luck... Chosen hero" Ms.Fairy giggled before the door locked. I stared at the door confused before starting the path
