I was doing some office work since I don't technically have a first period. I was in dad's office when he told me to run a errand for him. All I had to do was deliver some test papers to a teacher and come right back, but before I could get out his office, I heard some strange shouting coming from Vice Principal Bo's office. Dad said to not leave yet and leave it alone, like he knew what was going on. The ruckus stopped for awhile and I was able to go out to do the errand, then I saw the new kid leaving the main office. I tried going after him but he was really fast. Why does he keep running?

After I dropped everything off, I saw Impa walking the halls, since she's part of the Knight Protection Patrol "Hey" I smiled, waving

"Hey, why aren't you in the office? You know how many creeps there are in the hall. What if demons try getting you? Or Skullie wants to prank you again?" Skullie is a skull kid and is the school's prankster, he pranks everyone and can never be pranked back. I won't be surprised if that new kid gets pranked soon.

"I was running a quick errand, dad said it was okay" Impa furrowed her brows confused

"He should know about your safety, why would he put you at risk like-"

"Shut up!" We heard Dark's shouting from the corner. Without thinking, I stormed over and automatically slapped someone without looking at their face. All I could see was red. This was Dark's voice, no one else had the same scream

"You perv! You didn't think I would find you?!" I shouted. The person I hit held their cheek while facing the other way. I tried fixing my eyes to come back to earth. I'm not usually someone to easily get mad, but there's so many things Dark does to me that it made me snap when I finally found him

"Zelda! I heard you shouting!" Impa rushed over to me. I looked over at her and could see her red outline, meaning I could get my vision back if I keep trying to adjust. I could see her pointing her large sword at Dark still holding his cheek. This is odd behavior

"Dark, do you two think you can just disrespect a lady that way?!" Impa shouted. I stared at Dark's body shaking. I rubbed on my eyes to get rid of the red color

Impa kept continuing to talk until I got my vision back. Instead of looking at black like I thought I could, I was looking at a green shirt... Green? I heard Impa gasp, making me look up at the boy and gasped at how much tears were running down his cheeks and how much bruises he had on his face... This isn't Dark! This boy... Has blue eyes and blonde hair. Dark has white hair and red eyes. This... This can't be...

"I'm not him!" He snapped angrily. I took a step back shocked "leave me alone!" He stormed towards the exit. I took a step forward, surprised. The green color, the blue eyes, the ocarina... That's...

"Link!?" I gasped. That's him!? But... He hasn't been around for 5 years! He's here in Skyward Academy?! "Link!" I ran after him, but Impa stopped me "Impa!"

"You can't just run over there Zelda, it's raining" I looked at the exit he ran out of and noticed it was raining. I held my hands close to me and deepened my frown

"That was Link... He was... Crying..." I looked at my red hand "I slapped him without getting a good look at him. I let my anger blind me"

"You slapped him without knowing it was even Dark or not" Midna giggled while appearing next to me, staring at the exit we were all looking at

"If he isn't Dark then who is he?" Impa asked. Not many people knew Link. As kids, him and Dark didn't live together. Link lived in a village and Dark lived in the city. I heard of the story about his village and how it burned. I don't think I ever heard of what happened to Link after. I knew he lived but I think I remember my parents saying he was send away for a reason I never knew about

"He's... Dark's twin brother" I frowned

"Oh great, another Dark" Impa rolled her eyes

"No, Link is nothing like Dark" Midna crossed her arms "he saved me from being killed by Dark not too long ago" I looked at her surprised. What?! After what he did to me, he tried killing his own girlfriend?!

"Link saved you?" Impa asked confused "why would a double of Dark do that?" I looked down

"Link is a good boy..." I took a step forward "at least... From what I can remember from our childhood. We were best friends. My mom use to babysit him so we can spend time together"

"You knew him for that long? Was he always crazy?" Midna asked

"What do you mean crazy?" I asked confused

"He was shouting at the locker earlier, yelling shut up like it was talking to him" I frowned and dug in my dress and took out the necklace he gave me a long time ago. A golden necklace with the shape of the Triforce dangles under my fingers "oh! That's pretty" She took the necklace from me without permission

"Link gave that to me" I smiled. She dangled the necklace before giving it back to me

"He's certainly nothing like Dark, that's for sure" I walked to go outside again, but Impa keeps pulling me back

"Come on, he's alone out there..." I frowned "crying..."

"Your safety comes first" Midna patted my head

"Don't worry, I'll look for him for you Princess" I grabbed her hand before she walked away

"Midna... About earlier... What Dark did" she frowned and looked away

"Don't worry about me. I'm too good for him anyways" she flipped her hair "if that never happened, I wouldn't had broke up with him" she winked "so don't sweat it" I smiled and watched her disappear. I looked back at Impa

"Walk me back to the office?" She nodded and followed me from behind. The vision of Link crying burned into my heart. Link... What happened to you..?

Midna

I flew out the school building, not that I would actually go to my first period, and searched for any clues on where Link might've ran off to. I looked over pass the goddess statue and saw Fi sitting in her usual seat near the sword, using a umbrella to shield herself while reading a book. I'm serious man... This girl is just plain down weird. She's the top student of the academy and acts like a robot. Some people think she is but I think she's just weird. She takes this guarding way too seriously

"Hey" I walked up to her while crossing my arms. She looked up slowly "what are you doing in this rain? Shouldn't you be in class?"

"Shouldn't you put on more clothes?" My jaw dropped. Did she just sass me?! "You'll catch a cold if you're out like that. Would you like to wear my cape?" Oh... She was just being nice

"Uh, no" I shook off my awkward phase and giggled "I wanna know if you seen the new kid around. His name is Link"

"Link. A 90% chance to be the new kid" I rolled my eyes. Did she say 90%?

"I just said that! Start talking woman!" She nodded

"I've seen the one you seek over at the Great Deku Tree" my jaw dropped again

"He's over the academy?!" I looked over at the secret island floating over the academy made for special chosen people "How is he up there?! Did someone from up there take him there?!"

"No"

"He can get killed if he's caught up there! He's not chosen!" I shook my head "I have to look for him before one of those big birds kills him!"

"Huh? I don't understand why you would do that" Fi said "doesn't the Twilight Princess not care about the others around her?" I frowned and looked down, finally noticing the rain was soaking my skin and clothes

"Well... Why not a change? I'm a free woman now" I shrugged "oh, and do me a favor, will yah?"

"A favor?" I nodded

"When Link walks by again, make sure he pulls on that sword"

"I don't believe I understand" I smiled and floated towards Skyloft without responding

I watch the new character of this school walking pass the sword I have been guarding for 4 years now, ever since I've entered this academy in my freshman year, I was granted the position to guard the Master Sword so the chosen hero could take it with him. My order was to make sure the chosen hero would get his information safely. The new character didn't look not once interested in the sword, even though everyone in this school tried pulling it dozens of times and are far very interested in being the chosen hero, but this boy wasn't 

It soon started raining and since I had night school, I spend my days guarding the sword all day. I use my umbrella to keep dry as I read a book. There was footsteps coming towards the goddess statue. I looked up confused, not expecting anyone to be in the rain, and over heard a conversation with the new character speaking to himself

"And why should I care?" The boy said to nothing, holding his ears "it doesn't matter if she hates me! Look! Just shut up or-!" He noticed me staring at him. I could see that his eyes were red and puffy from crying tears. His nose was also red and his cheeks were filled with bruises, along with a busted lip "oh... Hey" I nodded

"Greetings" he just stared at me

"You... Heard that?" I nodded

"Do as you please, I do not judge" he walked up to me

"Who are you?"

"My name is Fi"

"Interesting name" he sighed and looked up at the sky. I stared at him going lost in his own world

"Where do you know a place where I can end it all..?" I continued to stare at him until I identified that he was planning suicide, only a 75% chance that he'll do it

"Hm..." I started thinking. It would be inhuman of me to tell him "I am not assigned to tell you" he sighed and stared at the statue with his longing blue eyes. His appearance seems familiar. It seems that he has the resemblance of the dark Prince of the school by 50% and that's just his appearance "may I ask? Who were you talking to?" He chuckled

"Someone named Ben, he's a real asshole" he turned his back "sorry, I don't have imaginary friends. If there was a way to get rid of this bastard, I would" he chuckled. His laughs were hollow but they were still filled with a power that could make my heart a little faster for some reason. Administration? I don't believe I ever seen someone quick to make a smile when they are sad. It's nothing like how the Twilight Princess would do it. He does it differently "well, see whoa-" he looked up surprised at a big Crimson Loftwing flying towards him to grab him and fly him up to the Great Deku Tree near Skyloft above the academy, the place where senior knights hang out most of their time. Only honored knights who have been studying to be Knights all through their high school life are allowed there and maybe chosen by a Loftwing. Otherwise you would just get killed by random Loftwings seeing you unworthy to go up there without the special skills, or if... You're the hero

I smiled and closed my eyes "he has come..." Not too long after, I see the twilight princess coming towards me
