I went to the main office and told them my name so I can get my stupid schedule, not that I plan on going to these classes. Everyone in this school keeps looking at me. I don't want to stay in a classroom for an hour going through the same thing. I'll wait a week before I decide to even show up. The schedule is just a way to know where I'm going and to know what I'm going to be going through

"Link?" I looked up and flinched when I saw someone I knew very well, Bo, an big old man with a big heart and a love for wrestling. He laughed and rushed over to give me a big squeeze "my boy! It's been 5 years!" I chuckled and was placed down

"Hey Bo... What are you doing here?"

"That's Mr.Ordon to you! I'm the vice principal here of this school!" My brows raised surprised "oh what the heck? Call me Bo! We're friends, are we?" I smiled

"Yeah, it's good to see you again" he nodded and pat my shoulder

"Come into my office, I'd like to talk" I gulped nervously and followed him around the main office to get to his. I could feel a cold chill on my shoulder

"Oh oh, he's going to talk about Ilia" the voice I hated hearing, giggling in my ear. I started shaking once I went into Bo's office. It was decorated in a farmer style with a goat head on the wall, pictures of horses, and anything of the sorts. Kinda reminds me of the village I use to live in with mom when I was younger

"What do you think?" He asked while sitting on his desk. I sat in front of it

"Reminds me of home" I smiled

"Yes well, all of us eventually had to move here. The village was burned down after all" I sighed and looked away, trying to push aside the memory

"That village burned along with her" that voice laughed at me. My eyes widened when Ben showed himself in front of me. His black hollowed eyes with a red glowing pupil and grey skin... I shook in fear while he smiled widely like some demon

"It's a good memory now, I know how hard it was for you Link, but it's okay" Bo said while looking through some files. I shook my head and looked away

"It's not... It's my fault... I should've... Been there before she..." Tears started running down my cheeks

"That's right... It's all your fault" Ben giggled. I covered my ears to ignore him. Don't let him get to you... Don't let him get to you... That's exactly what he wants. ignore him... Ignore him...

"You were a kid, Link. what could have you done?" Bo frowned. I closed my eyes

"I could had been there... I shouldn't have left her in the spring by herself... Because of me, she burned..." I cried "she burned with the village 5 years ago... I wasn't fast enough, it was my fault! I wasn't strong enough either..." My fist were shaking. I can remember the fresh scent of oil and blood within the Ordon Spring and village... Ilia's blood was everywhere. A lantern was slammed into the oil and flooded the village in flames... I couldn't get to her on time

"I'm sorry Bo" I shook my head "I tried protecting your daughter... But I just let her die..." I took out the charm she gave me, the charm that's able to call Epona from far away "I don't understand why you don't hate me... I failed you" He stood up to walk to the other side of the desk and sat on the edge, in front of me to cross his arms

"Like I said Link. You were just a kid... You blame yourself but there's no reason why. We don't know who filled the village with oil that killed Ilia, but we can't blame ourselves" my eyes started rapidly looking around. I know who killed her, but no one believes me... No one!

I shouted and ran to the wall to keep slamming myself on it "I couldn't save her! It's my fault! It's my fault!" I kept beating on myself. Ben kept saying things that was making me go more crazy "stop!" I cried "I wanted to save her! I wanted to save her! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"

"Link! Get ahold of yourself!" Bo shouted. I cried loudly and ran into the wall a last time before a picture frame fell on my head. I fell on the floor and saw thick glass scattered around me. Ben squat down to my height

"You're pathetic" My eyes started shaking again "pick up the glass, the pain will go away soon" I quickly reached for the glass before my body was slammed into the wall. I looked up surprised and saw Bo breathing heavily. I... I did it again, didn't I?

"Link, what happened? I thought you were better..." I bit my lips and looked away "that facility was suppose to help you, I thought they cured you..."

"I'm sorry..." I brought my knees closer to me and hugged them "I'm sorry... I am better... I am"

"Don't lie" Ben giggled "you pretended to be better so you wouldn't have to be in the facility anymore" I glared and hid my face on my knees

"Then why did you hurt yourself so much?" Hurt myself... I just noticed that my body is numb. I was beating myself up without control

"I'm sorry..." I heard him sigh and a sound of glass falling. I looked up and saw him pick up the frame that fell on my head to bring it over to me. I looked at the picture and felt tears running down like a waterfall

"Ilia..." I took the frame and stared at the picture of me and Ilia 2 years before she died. She was kissing my cheek while I was blushing like a red potion. I smiled and hugged the frame "forgive me..."

"Link..." I looked up at Bo "I could always tell you had it more hard than I did when Ilia passed... I knew you cared about her a lot" I nodded "it pains me to see you like this... I recommend you go to Nurse Fairy to ice those bruises on your face and I'll set up a appointment for you to go see councilor Fairy" I frowned as he helped me on my feet "I'm not going to tell your parents about this, I don't want you going back to the facility" I shook my head "so my best option for you is to go to Councilor Fairy. She'll talk to you about how you feel and even give you your schedule. Okay, Link? You'll go to her, right?" I sighed

"I-if it beats going back to that facility..." He nodded and wrote me a note

"Her office is on the other side of the school. Go see her now" I nodded and gave back the frame. He took it back, dug in his drawer and handed me a smaller thick piece of paper. I took it confused and started crying again "I'm sure you would love to have a picture of you two" I stared at the wallet size picture of me and Ilia as kids when we lived in Ordon together

"Thank you..." I put it safe in my many pockets and took the note "sorry you had to see all that..." I looked at the wall I slammed myself into, making a large crack on it "I'll... Pay for that"

"Don't worry about it, just go. Okay?" He smiled at me before petting my shoulder "you'll be just fine" I smiled before leaving the room with the staff around the office looking at me. I hid my face with my hood and casually walked pass them

"Oh! New kid!" I heard Zelda's voice call. I flinched and ran off "wait! Why are you running!?" Can't get close to her... I can't get close to anyone... It'll happen again... The same way it did with Ilia... It'll happen to other people I care about...

"Stay away from me!" I shouted before turning the corner, making sure I lost her. I sighed in relief that I was alone and suddenly felt a reflex to search for something... I ran the halls and found Dink holding that dark girl with the casual exposed skin, from her neck. I glared and stormed over to him

"Get away from her!" I started beating on Dark as much as I could before he could think about escaping. He's thinking of killing his own girlfriend? This bastard... I'm not going to let him hurt anyone else, I'm not going to let him

After back kicking him, thinking he could possibly escape from me, he said he was going to tell dad about what I did. Ha! Like dad is going to do crap. Bring him on, let him turn into Ganon and do something about it. Dad is nothing but the reason why my life sucks

I helped the girl up and told her I would take her to the nurse, but she was acting tough even though she was crying. I know how that is... She doesn't need to pretend, especially when she's telling herself she doesn't need to go because she's a princess

"Princesses need protection, right?" I put on my best smile while she frowned at my face. Dink nearly killed this girl. I can see kindness in those eyes... If he's thinking of killing someone else, he's got to get through me

"Yeah, like you can actually prevent someone else from dying" Ben comment. My fist were shaking as my eyes started to water "you're useless Link, why don't you just throw yourself into Lake Hylia and get it over with already. It's not like anyone will notice" I turned around a little

"if you want to stay here, that's fine. I'm... Kinda busy right now" I lifted my hand to wave "later..." Tears ran out my eyes before I could do a full turn. I'm pretty sure she saw it. I ran off before she could say anything

"You're pathetic Link" Ben snorted

"Shut up!" I snapped at the locker, where he already disappeared. My hood flew off my head. I could feel someone staring at me. I looked over and saw Zelda staring at me confused before rushing over and slapping my face. My eyes widened in shock. Ben just laughed at me from over my shoulder

"You perv! You didn't think I would find you?!" She shouted. I held my cheek while facing the other way wide eyed. She slapped me...

"Looks like she hates you man, just like I'm sure Ilia would for letting her burn, huh?" I shut my eyes and bit my lips hard

"Zelda! I heard you shouting!" Someone rushed over. Not another person...

"Oh look! Someone else to hate you. She's pointing her sword at you!" Ben sang. I could feel a blade pointing at me just as he said

"Dark, do you can just disrespect a lady that way?!" The girl asked. She thinks I'm Dink... Zelda thinks I'm Dink... I'm not Dink... I'm nothing like him... I kept hiding my face so people won't see me as him...

The girl moved my hand from my cheek and pointed the blade closer to me. I refused to look at them "I'm not letting you escape Dark, you've been causing a lot of trouble in this school. It's time to accept your punishment" I slowly turned to the girls with a glare on my face and tears running down my cheeks. The girl with white hair gasped while Zelda stared at my hoodie before making eye contact with me and cupped her mouth surprised

"I'm not him!" I snapped "leave me alone!" I stormed off out the building as fast as I could, ignoring my name being called from behind me.
