Skullie

I walked around the park, bored out of my mind. It's been so long since I've seen Tatl and Tael... Where the hell has Link been? I recently learned he was their brother, so why hasn't he brought them!? Actually... He hasn't been in school either to witness my pranks. I've set up so many for him, I wonder if something happened

"Hey Skullie!" I turned around confused and saw Tatl waving to me. I gasped and ran over to her

"Tatl!" Tael came towards us "Tael!" I looked at their height "how did you guys get taller?" They hid their hands behind them shyly

"It's a secret!" I nodded before my jaw dropped

"You can talk properly!" I pointed

"Nothing too serious" Tael crossed his arms with a smirk. My eyes widened "close your mouth Skullie, you'll catch flies" I closed my mouth

"Where have you been? I was getting worried" I looked around "Where's Link?"

"He's out shopping, if you want to talk to him then you can meet him on the road towards Hyrule Field" I looked at the road ahead

"I don't think I need to talk to him, well... Maybe I do" I held my sides "why is he suddenly leaving you here by yourselves?"

"We're tall enough and our magic has gotten stronger. We convince him to let us stay" I shook my head and stomped over towards the road "Skullie?"

"I'm going to give him a piece of my mind!" I took out my horn to summon my latest prank. I had been working on these puppets for weeks, they're going to attack him and it's going to be so funny. Nothing too extreme

I hid behind a tree and looked over at a kid with a kokiri outfit, shorts, boots, a pointy hat, holding a backpack with a bow inside, a sword in his hands. and wearing a odd yellow car mask to hid his face. Not Link, but I guess he can be a practice dummy. I grinned and blew a special toon with my horn and summoned my puppets dangling from the tree he was over. Out of nowhere, he hollered and swung his sword around to kill them. I gasped and glared. Oh yeah? I have a lot more where that came from!

I summoned more and he still killed them with that sword with the golden blade "seriously?" The kid turned around before putting his sword back behind him "is that the best you can do Skullie?" My eyes widened "all though, this is the best one you ever made, I'll give you props, but you can't prank me" he removed his mask and grinned widenly. My eyes suddenly started watering. I-It's him..!

"Y-You!" I gasped. He winked and hid his face again

"Keep trying kid" he turned around and waved his head before walking "I'm unprankable! Oh! And watch your step!" I hurried to follow him, but fell into a hole. W-wha..? Did I just got...

"You've been Pranked! That was fun!" His laughed fated away. I just stood there stunned and dumbfounded. N-no one ever pranked me before... Only one boy is able to do that

"You!!" I cried "It's really you!"

"Heh..." I looked up and saw the boy sitting on the edge of the hole I fell into "Skullie crying? That's a surprise" he offered a hand. I slowly took it and flew out the hole like I weight like nothing. The kid stood up and rested his head on his arms behind him

"H-how are you here? I thought you would have grown by now!" I should have known, he's a kokiri! Wait... Kokiris can't leave the surrounding areas of the Great Deku tree, how is he here? He stared at me with those familiar blue eyes. Even if a kokiri never aged or grow, he sort of... "say... You sort of look like someone I know..." He chuckled and turned around

"I'm in a rush, let's talk later" he walked away

"Wait! W-what happened to you!? How are you here and not in the Great Deku Tree with the others? Why did you suddenly stop playing with me those years ago! Weren't we friends?!" He continued walking, but more slowly "you never even told me your name! Come on!" I cried. He waved

"Take care of my siblings for me!" I flinched "I'll be back soon!" I kept staring at him until he jumped on a horse further from him and disappeared

"His... Siblings..?" I asked

"Bye Link!" Tatl came out of nowhere and waved. I looked at her shocked

"Link?" I stared at the area he disappeared to "that's... Not possible" Tael patted my arm

"It's true, he's a kid again. Please help him out and take care of us?" He asked. I frowned and nodded

"You got it... I'll take care of you" they hugged my arms. I looked up at where he disappeared again "I just can't believe it's him..."

"How do you know him?" I smiled

"We were best friends before he suddenly stopped see me and the Kokiri kids all together..." I pet their heads "let's go play, shall we?" They nodded happily and began our game of tag

Navi

I walked around Hyrule field and came down to look at a pond to look at my reflection. I sighed and smiled "almost there... You're almost there to break the seal Link" I looked at the sky "that seal causes everyone pain, not just you..." I held my heart "I long for my wings again..." Something screeched behind me. I snapped my head behind me and saw a Bulblin Archer on a Bullbo rushing over to me. I gasped and made a run for it. Oh! My legs are so short!

"Go away! Go away!" I cried. Where did they come from anyways!? "Help me! Mom! Auntie! Dad! Help!"

A screech and groan were heard behind me again. I turned my head to see what was going on and found the two monsters falling into the dirt. I stopped running and saw someone holding a bow in a cat mask on a brown horse with white mane following behind and raced towards me. I frowned and took a step back. Who is this..?

"You alright?" I looked down at the persons body and saw that he had short legs and wearing green

"Link?" He removed his mask and smiled "Link! You stopped that monster!?"

"It only took one arrow" he chuckled and turned around to see the archer coming back "hold on" he took out his sword that was too big for him and sliced the thing with two hands holding the sword. He sighed and put it back in its sheath

"How are you not scared of that thing? I thought you didn't have courage" I frowned

"Oh that? No, it was a force. That thing still freaks me out. As long as it's not attacking me, I will use force to defeat the thing"

"So... If it's attacking you?" he smiled

"I'll be done for... I might have sharp reflexes but I'm not that good of a fighter if I don't have space" he chuckled "how pathetic am I? I'm now more pathetic as a kid" I walked towards him as he hopped off his horse. He was still taller than me. Only about a little.

"I think you're... Great" I shyly said "I believe you can do great things Link" he stared at me surprised "don't look at me like that" I pouted and looked away

"No... It's just that... I never thought someone like you could say something nice to me" I held my hips

"Well, we're not kids anymore. I'm not the same person I was then, can't you tell?" He looked away

"Don't wanna look into the past right now..."

"I was a jerk, I know that... You said you needed those rupees for your family... I took them, but if I knew"

"Navi" I shook my head

"I'm sorry, there! I said it!" He held his mouth "hey, are you okay?" He bend over and spit up some blood. I gasped loudly and bend over to see what I could do "a-again?!"

"Something's happening... I can't think about my past at all or this will happen" he coughed. I nodded and dug in my pocket for a pocket hankie and gave it to him.

"I'm sorry..." He stood back up and whipped his mouth

"Don't worry about it" I nodded and suddenly heard a meow. We looked around confused until a cute little white kitten with gorgeous blue eyes and fluffy white fur popped out Link's backpack that was attached to Epona

"Bunny?!" Link gasped. The kitten jumped out the bag and wore some messenger bag made for cats or something. That's so cute! "W-what are you doing here?!" The cat only meowed and rubbed it's face against his boot. He picked it up in the air "no! I'm going to do dangerous work! I can't have a kitten around!" It's ears flattened

"Oh come on Link!" I held it in my arms "what can go wrong? What were you planning on doing today anyways?" He frowned

"to go up to Lanayru Province to speak to Lanayru..." He dug in his pockets and showed me the weird vessel thingie he had before "I have to rather tears of light. You said you were going to help me, right?" I nodded

"Of course!" He looked at the cat

"And the only way there is by water. A cat can't stand water and it'll be too dangerous"

"Meow! Meow!" It cried and wiggled out my arms. I dropped it and watched it dig in its bag and show us a pretty scale

"That's the Zora Scale! The scale that's made of my Zora armor!" He gasped and picked it up from the grass "how did... Wow, you're a really smart cat! Are you sure you're not human?" He smiled. The cat meowed and wagged it's fluffy tail happily like a dog

"Are you sure it's even a cat?" I asked "what's the scale for?" He threw it in the air to catch

"It's a weapon as well as a barrier to let others breath underwater if you're not a Zora"

"Whoa! It's like this cat knew what you were planning to do!" We looked at the cat staring up at us

"Yeah... Weird" he sighed and gave me the scale "if you're going to help me, this is the only way you can come with me" I took the scale

"How are you getting there?" He smirked

"Don't worry about me. Let's just go to Castle Town so we can buy some food for the road"

"Don't you want to go see Zelda and find out why you're a kid?"

"No time" I sighed. He got on the horse and gave me a hand. I took it and sat comfortably while the cat jumped a great height and sat on Links lap

"What else you got in that pouch of yours?" He chuckled before walking us. What a strange cat... Oh well, there's been weirder things. I looked to my left at a tree and saw a pair of red eyes, blonde hair, and some weird symbol on their chest before they suddenly disappeared... Who was that?

Fi

Yesterday night

I followed the Master Sword as fast as I could... Link had pulled on the sword and suddenly changed forms. Even I don't know what this means, but I have a duty to protect this sword until it's master pulls on the blade

I followed it to a strange kind of temple that looked run down and destroyed for the most part... Abandoned even "hey, what are you doing here!?" I looked over and saw Skullie glaring at me from over a pillar

"Skullie... I did not realize you live here"

"You bet I do! What are you doing in the sacred grove! I bowed to protect this place! How dare you come here?!" I just stared at him

"I'm only looking for the Master Sword" he looked at me like I was crazy

"Isn't it suppose to be at school?"

"It send me here after Link pulled on it" he laughed and jumped over to me

"Ah, and why would a Sword as important as the Master Sword come here after Link pulled it?" I looked away

"I feel that the sword is trying to help Link... The sword is keeping something sealed... Tell me where the sword is and I'll never come here again, since you don't want my presents here" he snorted and walked pass me

"Damn right. Follow me, I think I saw some kind of light beaming over here" I nodded and followed him towards some secret doors guarded by two guard armors "it came here, but there's no way to get in" I nodded and put my hands together and closed my eyes

"That's ok... I'll just have it bring me over" I prayed to the sword to take me where it is. I opened my eyes and saw the Master Sword in front of me. I sighed in relief and floated over to it, but once I felt it's light, I realize it was only light... It's not physically here! "W-where is it..?" I suddenly saw a fluffy white kitten with blue eyes walking around the light of the sword

"A cat..?" It meowed and walked over to me "you are in a place where others can't get in, I feel no other entrances besides the door behind me" It meowed again and closed its eyes. My body suddenly floated and surrounded in light... This place feels weird... This isn't where I was before

I was placed on my feet. I looked up and gasped when I saw the Master Sword "oh!" I flew towards it and stopped when I saw some ball of light flying around the room. I gently reached for it and grabbed something... I opened my hand and saw a golden ring with the Triforce printed on the outside "a... Ring..?"

"Meow..." I looked up at the cat and saw that it was sitting in front of some kind of large orange stone on a large stair case

"Where are we..?" The cat closed its eyes and I was suddenly transported back on the outside of the door where the Master Sword's light was... I looked at my hand and saw that it was empty... And that cat was nowhere in sight "that ring looked... Familiar..."

So... Omg! How exciting! It's all coming together and I'm so excited to show more off! Skullie lives in the Sacred Grove, the Master Sword is somewhere unknown, but that mysterious kitten suddenly knows something! It's smart and cunning! And who was the person Navi saw in the tree? Can't wait to see reveal more! Bye now!
