I sat down on my throne while reading a book. Father was sitting next to me while he spoke down to the governor of Termina about a trade and such. I had heard stories about Termina, they're economy and technology are way different than ours but our lands are strangely similar. The governor had for some reason came with the Deku princess, looking around curiously. She's a strange creature I'm sure I never seen before

"Zelda" father whispered to get my attention. I looked at him confused and back at our visitors, closing my book

"Forgive me" I bowed my head. The Deku princess jumped randomly

"Princess?" I smiled

"Yes?"

"I had came with the governor for a purpose different from this. I'm actually looking for someone!" I nodded and looked at father

"I'm going to help the Deku Princess look for this person" he nodded and smiled. I nodded and walked out with the princess "So, who is this person you are looking for? I hope I can help in the best of my ability" she put her hands together happily and jumped

"Oh thank you! I didn't know you even had time to do this for me! But his name is Link!" My jaw dropped a little

"Link?" She nodded happily

"Yes! He's a scrub just like me"

"Oh!" I thought she was talking about my Link. Wait... My Link? And when do we have scrubs in Hyrule?

"He rescued me from a terrifying monster who had me trapped in a bottle! I wanted to return something that belonged to him"

"May I ask? What is it?" She dug in her bag behind her and showed me a piece of paper. I confusingly took the paper and saw that this was music sheets "Music Sheets?" She nodded

"Yes! He dropped this in my palace before he said his goodbye to me and my people" I looked surprised

"Were you... Two friends?" She nodded

"Yes! Link was friends to all! He lived in a peaceful ranch as a human sometimes, but he wears a magic mask to make himself look like that" she giggled "he's a silly boy, but he's our hero!" I stared at her the whole time surprised

"Does he... Wear green?" She kinda looked confused

"How you know?" I nodded and gave the music sheet back to her

"I believe I know who you are talking about. We go to school together"

"Oh?" She titled her head to the side "I believe to have remembered he use to go to a mental facility to help him stop going crazy, or what the rumors said" I bit my lips "anyways, if you know him, then there's no need to see him. He did warn me that his home is dangerous so being near him would make him angry. Would you deliver his music sheet and this letter for me?" She handed me a envelope. I nodded and took her things before she bowed "I don't know when the governor is done with business with the king, so I don't want to risk him leaving me here" I nodded "deliver this safely, Princess"

"Of course Princess" we giggled together before she waved and went back to the room my father and the governor was in. A soldier walked over to me

"Oh! Princess!" He bowed. I faced him and nodded "I come to send a message from a man outside"

"Oh? Um..." I peaked into throne room father was in to check if he was still busy. The governor and princess was nowhere to be found "father!" I called "where the visitors go?"

"They went back to their land by playing a song I never heard of" I nodded and looked at the soldier walking into the room "ah, is there something wrong?" The soldier bowed

"There's a young man outside that's requesting to speak to the queen" father and I looked at each other surprised

"What kind of request is that? Who would be rude enough to just come here and ask for such a thing?!" I held my hip angrily

"I'm not sure, Princess. He looked familiar though... He was soaking wet and wore a Zora's armor and had blonde hair with blue eyes that looked desperate" someone in a Zora's armor? And with blonde hair? Hm..

"I'll go see who this is, father?" I asked. He nodded "okay, lead the way please" the soldier nodded and took me to the balcony above the Royal garden, where this person was told to wait. I stared down at a boy with blonde hair in a blue pointy hat and armor. Something about him... I shouldn't speak yet, this man might just want to meet me just to tell his friends

He groaned frustrated and punched a tree "I don't know why! I'm just curious!" He shouted by himself. I blinked a few times before I saw his face

"Link?" He looked up and smiled

"Your grace!" I blushed that he called me that... I never understood why he said that, but he's the only one that does this

"Hold on, I'll come right down" I hurried down towards him with a blanket I found in the hallway "here" he gently took it and whipped his face and hair "what are you doing here?"

"I..." He looked down "you never told me Hylia was dead..." I frowned and looked down

"Oh... That's right, you weren't even here when she died" I played with my fingers "y-yes... She was sick for awhile and the great goddesses of the sky took her body along with her soul" I smiled up at the moon "You're here to see her" he nodded "may I ask? Who told you of my mother?"

"Um.." He looked down "you wouldn't believe me if I told you" I sad smiled

"That's fine. I'll lead you down to her grave. But here" I handed him the music sheet the Deku Princess gave me to give to him. He took it confused and gasped happily

"My sheets! Where did you find them?!" I blushed at his smile

"The Deku Princess was came to the castle earlier before she left" he looked amazed and back at his sheets "and she also left this" I gave him the letter. He hurried to open it and smiled the whole time

"Wow... Everyone misses me, awe" he chuckled. He's smiling happily. I miss seeing that. He can be happy at that place he lived in for years better than here. Knowingly because Dark is in this land and not the other to stress him

"May I ask about this land you were for all these years? Termina, yes?" He nodded and rubbed the back of his head

"Well, it was the place where I went to the mental facility"

"And... Why exactly did you need to go to the mental facility..?" He frowned and faced me

"Why are you asking?" I shrugged

"I'm just... Curious" he sighed and closes his eyes

"After Ilia's murder" he gulped "I blamed myself for not protecting her. Not only was she murdered, but my village was soaked in oil. Dink put it to flames, but no one believes me, so whatever. But I was pretty young when seeing a murder, I failed to protect the girl I loved and that really got to me" he turned his shoulder "everything changed and I..." He shook his head "let's just say that I can't get-" he held his head in pain. I nodded and held his elbow

"It's okay... You don't have to tell me" he sighed and looked up at the sky

"Can we hurry..? I have to get home before twilight" twilight? That's a little specific. I nodded and took him into the castle and deep down into the basement. There was a hidden fountain around the room while the statue of our goddesses stood in the middle. Mother's grave was just in front of it.

"This place is forbidden to come to if you're not a royal, but I'm sure my mother would appreciate you coming to see her" I smiled. I took off my shoes and walked on top of the magic water of light and looked over at Link shining until he was wearing a green tunic with protective armor chains underneath. I gasped and stared at him surprised. That tunic...

He looked at his outfit surprised before looking up at the statue. I felt light shining around us as if it was calling... What is that? "Mother..? Is that you..?" I saw Link walk on top of the water just as I and stood on one knee in front of her grave before bowing his head. His body was suddenly covered in a hollowed barrier of light. I stood there in shock

"What's happening..?" I asked. I looked down at Link and saw that he looked asleep... "Link..?" I took a couple steps back and just stood there. I'm not going to interfere with mothers light.

I looked down at Link's music sheet he dropped and took out my harp that was in my bag behind me. I don't know if he'll be happy if I'm playing this... But I'm really curious

The sheet didn't have just one song, it actually had multiple songs! Song of Feelings, Song of the past, Song of hope, and Song of Memory... I'm debating on which one I should play

I strum the strings one at a time until I had a full melody, then I started playing the melody all together. It was a beautiful song, the title of the song, as it says on the paper, was called Song of the memory

My mind suddenly warped to my courtyard. Little me was staring out in the window while father was talking to a man I never exactly liked and was leader of his own tribe. I wonder what happened to that man. His name was Ganondorf, I remember that much

I walked up to my young self, but she didn't seem to notice my existence. I think... I remember this day! Little me and I turned around at the sound of heavy breathing and looked down at Link laying weakly on the grass. I held my heart surprised. Link, he's so little! He was holding a sack of rupees when the guards were chasing after him for stealing father's money. He glared and pointed a Deku sword at them bravely. Little me was interested in the look in his eyes and defended him. That was the start of our friendship...

I took out my harp again and started playing the Song of the past. My mind was warped to a spring. I looked around confused and heard a familiar song being played with a grass whistle. I looked over and saw small Link petting his young horse, Epona, with a relaxed look on his face

"If only I can spend more time with you like this Epona... To just look at the spring and relax" he sighed "but I have two little siblings to take care of. Stay here, I'll be back tonight" he waved to his horse before leaving with a bucket of water. I quickly followed behind towards a tree house near a village I didn't recognize. Is this Ordon Village!? Wow! It's like nothing ever happened to it

Link opened his door, I quickly followed and watched him walk over to someone in bed while a little blonde girl was whipping the sleeper's forehead with a wet rag

"How is he sis?" Link asked while putting the bucket down. I furrowed my brows confused. That can't be right... Who is that? She isn't Tatl. His siblings are much younger than he is. I know his siblings because I often go to the park to watch him supervise Tatl and Tael play with skull kid every morning before school. He often hides in the trees

"He's still sweating... His fever is getting worse" the little girl cried. I walked up to the bed to stare at the blonde boy laying down before I gasped. Link?! "Ben..." She cried for him. Link frowned and replaced his clothe on the boys forehead with a fresh one

"He'll be alright... I'm going to go get some medicine" he walked to the door

"But with what money..?" The girl cried. Link smiled and blew her a kiss

"Don't you worry about that Aryll, you're big brother is going to take care the both of you" he left the house. I looked back at Link's siblings again. I don't understand... Who are these two? Why are they alone?

"Ben..." Aryll cried. Ben opened his red colored eyes and looked at her "Link's going to get some medicine, you'll be okay" Ben chuckled and looked at the ceiling before coughing harshly

"That idiot is going to steal some rupees for it, I'm sure"

"S-steal..?" He pet her head without looking at her

"Nothing, forget what I said" she sighed and rested her chin on the bed

"Link is always worried about us... We need to find a mommy so she can take care of us"

"We don't have a mother" he coughed

"But we need one..."

"Why?"

"Link works so hard for us... You're sick and I'm just a burden" he closed his eyes and sighed

"Link is stronger than you think... I'm the one that's a burden. I'm his twin and I'm worthless here" I cupped my mouth. His twin..? But this isn't Dark, is it? "we're going to be okay, alright?" She nodded before my mind warped back to real life, where Link was staring down at me. I jumped and fell back surprised. He caught me and pulled me back

"What's wrong..?" He asked. I held my heart and stared at the water under me, in shock. He lifted my chin to look at his eyes "Zelda? Why are you pale..?"

"Link... You had another twin?" He looked at me confused "who is Aryll..?" His eye twitched

"Aryll?" He still looked confused

"You know... Aryll" he shook his head

"I... Don't think... I..." He held his head before he went off balance. I grabbed his arm and placed it around my shoulder

"What's wrong..?" He stood up and stared at something behind me, but there was nothing there

"Sorry... I don't know who Aryll is" he told me before flinching wide eyed behind me. I kept looking back and saw nothing

"Link... What did you go through..?" He stared down at me confused "who's Ben? Isn't he your brother?" He flinched before suddenly passing out with blood dripping from his eyes "Link!"
