I watched wide eyed as Link slowly falls towards the floor. My hands covered my mouth just as he was caught by Lana's magic "Link!!" I cried and hurried to him "no! No! No!" I shook his body "you can't die! You can't die!" I looked down at his hands still holding the sword "w-what have I done..?" I cried on his chest "what have I done..?! His Triforce wasn't even complete and this happened?! I thought I could talk him into being himself again... Why..?"

"Princess" Lana held my shoulder "look around us" I looked up, around the pedestal and saw three other bodies laying around us with the same sword as Link

"He brought out the power of the four sword" I held my mouth "b-but..." I looked down at Link and saw that he was wearing a green tunic just like the hero of legend, well... This one is a little different, like what a kokiri would wear. The others around us were wearing the same thing but in red, blue, and purple "Link..?" The Link's around us sat up. The Link in front of me remained asleep "you all..."

I stared at the red Link standing up, wearing a black cape behind him with a annoyed look on his face. I then looked at the blue Link slowly standing up, wearing a blue scarf around his head, hiding his appearance except his eyes filled with sadness. The purple Link stood up after them and looked like he had longer hair without a hat and wearing a relaxed look on his face. I looked down at the Green Link, but he was just sleeping with a smile on his face

"Link..?" I shook his body, but he wouldn't wake up. Link's purple outfit came to view. I looked up and blushed when I saw the sweet smile he was giving me "Oh..." I longed to see that smile of his

"Don't worry, I'm fine" he chuckled before looking at his green self

"Did he just divid himself into fours?" Lana asked, staring at blue Link hiding behind red Link

"Yes" I said while purple Link took my hand gently and helped me on my feet. His blue eyes stared into mine, suddenly making me go shy "that's the power of the Legendary Four Swords... Only the Legendary Hero of Legend may pull the sword and possess the ability to split himself into fours, making himself 4x as strong"

"There's nothing strong about us, your grace" red Link spat "I don't know if you notice, but we're weak" blue Link behind him started crying

"I'm sorry your grace... I really want to be friends with you again, but I'm scared..." I frowned and looked at purple Link frowning at his green self

"Is it Dark that your scared of?" I asked. He sighed and looked down at me

"It's not him that we're scared of..." He closed his eyes and brought my hand to his lips. My cheeks went as red as cherries "it's what he might do to you and everyone else... Because of me going out on a search, I wasn't able to get home in time and found Dink molesting the one I loved" I gasped and cupped my mouth. Blue Link started crying a little louder while red Link just glared at the walls

"Oh Link... You stayed away so-"

"So he wouldn't kill the ones I care about" he wrapped me around his arms "I care about you so much Zelda... You were my first friend. And everyone else that come to care about me, I don't want anything happening to them, to anyone. That's why hiding and running is my only choice"

"Why can't you just let me help you find you missing Triforce..?"

"Don't you listen!?" Red Link shouted "it's useless! We have no courage! Dink and our father kept us from being happy! That's why our green counterpart won't wake up!" I frowned down at green Link still smiling in his sleep "as long as they're around, we can't be the people you want us to be!"

"We don't want anyone getting hurt..." Blue Link cried "that's the only way we can protect this land. Not as a hero... Just me..." I slowly walked over to him. He flinched and ran off to the exit

"No! Link!" I gasped. Red Link groaned and walked out

"I'm out of here"

"W-wait!" I looked at purple Link frowning at me "are you going to leave too..?" He shook his head

"I'm not leaving you..." I smiled and looked at Lana sitting near green Link while her hands were glowing above him

"He doesn't seem close to be waking up.." She said

"I don't doubt it. I refuse to show happiness around others" purple Link explained. So green Link is happiness, no wonder he's smiling in his sleep

"We have to look for the others... Lana, take Link to the nurse office and look for one of the Links" She nodded and opened her book to grant her wish. Green Link disappeared

"Let's go" I nodded and found my knees being pulled forward and myself falling forward onto someone's back

"L-Link!" I gasped as he carried me on his back. He gave me a relaxed smile before running out the Chapel, running the opposite way from where Lana was flying "d-do you think you can find one of you other selves?"

"All I gotta do is think about what's in my head. Angry Link is outside with Navi and the others while sad Link is close by" he showed me his sword "I'm pretty sure the only way to put us all back together is by all of us dropping the sword together"

"What about green Link?"

"Just take it away. I feel in my will being that I can't let go of this sword" I stared down at him running around. This Link is different. I don't think I recognize this personality. Since when he was this calm?

"Why aren't you ever like this? This calm?"

"Hm? Oh, I am sometimes" he sighed "with my animals... They're the only thing I can be happy around without Dink wanting to kill them"

"Dink?"

"You know, Dark? Dink is his real name you know?" I rubbed the back of my neck

"Ah" I didn't know that. His school profile was never clear to me. We made it to the front of the school and suddenly heard someone playing the song I heard in the park. Link put me down so I can walk around

"Link?" I called "please come out" the Ocarina stopped playing and I could hear sniffles "Link... You don't have to be sad. I get that it's your personality but, you don't have to hide from me. I understand"

"How can you understand..?" I looked around the Great Deku Tree and saw that he was hiding behind it. The tears in his eyes were clear from where I was. I frowned and walked over to him slowly, making sure to not scare him

"Because I'm a princess, Link. I have to take care of my people... I fear the worse might happen to them"

"You're still playing princess..?" I looked at him confused

"I don't think it's time for a joking matter Zelda" purple Link said. I looked at him confused now

"I am, I really am the Princess of Hyrule. What made you think I'm not? I live in the north castle Link"

"If you're a princess, that would make Hylia a queen..." Blue Link said. I frowned at the name. He really doesn't know we're royalty?

"That's how it works... My father runs this school as well, he's the king" both Links looked down to think

"That's what Saria meant by that..." Hm? "If you really are the princess, then you can protect Hyrule better than me. You have many people protecting you anyways..." Blue Link frowned "I can't be the one to do it" I walked closer to him, making him take a step back "what hero cries..? What hero is scared..? I'm no hero..." I quickly took his hands and held them close

"The kind that cares about what happens around him... And the kind that does anything to make things right, having to put his own feelings aside and be brave" I wrapped my arms around him "it's okay Link... It's okay to cry. Isn't that what you told me..?" He sobbed and hugged me 

"Zelda... I don't understand why you keep wasting your time with me... I want you safe is all"

"And killing yourself isn't going to make things better... Promise me you'll keep a open mind" he looked down at me before taking my hand and kissed it

"I promise..." His left hand shines bright for a moment before dying out. I smiled happily and held him close. It was back for a second, his... Wisdom. That means there's a way

Navi

I looked over at Link walking towards the class with a red funky looking outfit on "what's with the get up?" I laughed. He snarled at me before walking pass me. Huh? What's his problem? I followed until he was in front of the teacher

"Hm? Dark? You're not in this class" he said. Link glared

"Explain to me how I look like that ass?!" He snapped, making everyone jump, including me "I'm Link! Get it together old man! You saw my schedule! I have blonde hair and blue eyes! Not white hair and red eyes like that idiot!" I furrowed my brows confused. Somethings off about him

"Okay then..." The teacher looked back at us. I never bothered to remember his name "everyone, now that blondie is here, it's time to partner up! No, you can't choose your partners. I will choose for you!" I rolled my eyes and waited to hear who was my partner "Link and Navi" my jaw dropped

"What?! No way! You're gonna pair me up with him?! Come on!" I looked up at Link avoiding eye contact with me. Everyone was given their pairing activity and started walking to their place. I snatched our paper from the table grumpily and walked towards Link, finding him laying on the floor with his hat on his face

"Hey! Get up you!" He groaned and looked up at me

"What do you want, fairy?" I glared and then softened my face. Fairy...

"We have archery and pair running together..." He sat up and looked at me confused "C-come on..." He stood up and stared down at me

"Oh? You're being nice now?" He sassed "for someone who steals the money I needed for to buy food for my family, you have some nerve trying to be nice" I flinched surprised before he coughed harshly on his hand before looking at it.

"E-excuse me?!" I held my heart. That money was for his family..?! I... I feel really really bad now

"I-I'm sorry..." I frowned. He looked annoyed

"It's too late for that now" I gasped

"D-Did something happen..?" His eye twitched before he held his head in pain "L-Link..?" He grabbed my head and made me walk with him

"Stop stuttering. Let's do our assignment" I nodded and reached over to the open archery hut with bows and targets a few feet away. A knight named Pipit handed us a bow and few arrows. Everyone around us looked prepared

"Alright everyone! I want a pair to decide who will be shooting first. Each student will have 2 minutes to shoot as many arrows as they can to their target. After the two minutes are up, it'll be your partners turn and both your points will be added up. If you hit the green line, you'll earn 1 point! If blue, 10! If yellow, 15! And if red 20! Which ever group has the most points will be rewarded a prize! Now get ready and choose!" I looked over at Link looking at our bow

"This bow sucks" he muttered

"I don't see your own bow Mr.Hero" Pipit sassed. Link glared at him, making him coward up and look away

"Here, you do it first" Link gave me the bow. I nodded and reached for it, but saw something red on my palms. What is this..? I whipped it on my dress and put on the arm thingy archers put on their arm to prevent the string from hurting them. Everyone was in front of their targets and pulling on their bows with a arrow like I was. Here goes nothing

"I... I don't know if I can do this...I always miss. The wind isn't even in the right way" I frowned "I'm not good at sports" I suddenly heard the wind making music. I looked over at Link holding a white conductors wand and played around with it like he was conducting something. My hair was suddenly changing directions of the wind. Huh? Did the wind move directions?

"Begin!" I shot as many arrows as I could, but my fingers were already numb from the third pull on the string and I couldn't keep up. The timer went off and I shot about 10 arrows on the green line... It was surprising that I even made a shot! But we only got 10 points while others are already in the 100s

"I can't do this" I sighed

"What happened to the confidence you had, fairy?" Link snatched the bow from me after bringing back my arrows. My hair continued blowing the different way. The perfect spot where our target was at. I keep thinking that Link just moved the direction of the wind with that conductors wand

Everyone was pointing their bows and arrows at their target. I looked at Link and saw that he was pulling three arrows "w-what are you doing?!" I gasped

"Is this against the rules?" He asked boredly

"No! B-but!"

"Then shut up and let me do my thing" I bit my lips and stepped back

"Begin!" Pipit yelled. Link let go of the three arrows and hit the bulls eye. I gasped as he kept repeating the process over and over. He kept hitting the same spot over and over! The timer went off and the last three arrows shot right through the target, breaking through, literally! Everyone in the open hut was jaw dropped. Pipit quickly counted his arrows and stared at us in shock when he was done

"2000 points!! Plus 10 with Navi! That's a new record! I don't think it's ever going to be beaten! You win!" He laughed. I looked at Link surprise. He was just staring at his bow boredly "congratulations! You won the reward!" He went over to Link and handed him a box "alright everyone! On to your next activity!" Everyone scattered after congratulating us. Link started opening the box and took out a power bracelet. He sighed and handed it to me

"I already have a pair, they're worthless"

"What's it do?"

"You can carry a bolder without feeling the weigh" I looked at the bracelet surprised "hurry up, we gotta do the other activity" he walked away

"What's up with him?" I turned around from some giggling and saw Lana smiling at me

"How's angry Link treating you?" I looked at her confused

"Hurry up fairy!" Link shouted. I glared and planned on flying there, but I forgot... I didn't have... I sad smiled at Lana and rushed over to Link getting ready for the race that was already starting. You had to carry your partner around the field, nothing too complicated but... The thought of being grabbed and carried was frightening

"Get over here fairy" Link grabbed my arm and placed me on his back. I panicked and grabbed his head for support. He shook his head and speed off in the speed of light when the whistle blew. Ahh!!! Who is this guy??!!
