Chapter 1: Zelda•
Zelda
Princess Zelda was a simple girl. Never liking attention, questions, or people. She was born to become a great ruler and protect a kingdom, to love her people and want the best for them, but that wasn't in her tension. She didn't care about dresses, money, respect, or family, all she knew was hate. There was no reason towards this behavior, she became who she was without any signs of knowing why. She preferred to be alone, and that's exactly what she got when she ran away from Hyrule Castle when she was only 10
Zelda would stay hidden in a Snowpeak Mountain in a abandoned house deep within. There was no way out of the mountain without properly knowing where the path was. The path was always covered by snow storms, only white wolves native to the area could know where to go, or if you were Zelda, could only leave via song she plays with her harp she took with her from home, carried through the family for thousands of years
Zelda stood in the middle of her abandoned mansion the white wolves lead her to. When she was first running away from home, she was swept off by the currents of Hyrule river and taken all the way to Lake Hylia. She was lost and knew nothing of where she was going. She walked for miles until she found herself in a cold climate. Walking through the snow storm, she couldn't find herself to keep walking, so before she accepted her fate and her last breath, she played a song while singing the song her mother sang for her before she passed away. After her last words, she closed her eyes and fell asleep. She awoken in front of a abandoned mansion, surrounded by white wolves. She didn't fear for her life, since she thought it wasn't worth saving, so she took pride in her stand and started playing the song she played before she fell asleep. The wolves seemed to like it, and became her guards since she could remember
The mansion she stood in the middle of was broken and lonesome. The stairs weren't complete and the floors were frozen. There were only a few rooms she would use. If there was ever a reason why she needed to go to the others, she would have to bring the wolves to kill enemies constantly coming back. It's a good thing that only 3 areas of the mansion held such misfortune. The rest of the house was only broken, therefore she would only use the living room, kitchen, and bedroom
Zelda took a deep breath before putting on her beanie and scarf around her mouth before walking outside in the snow. She was not at all cold, since her Sheikah Tribe outfit kept her warm, even if it did hug her body perfectly.
The outfit she wore was a local outfit of the Sheikah Tribe, a tribe that use to serve the royal family before they became extinct when they slowly started leaving the Royal family years ago. Zelda found the front attachment clothing of the symbol in the basement of the castle and decided to take it in her carry on, along with her harp and money
The snow blew against her blond bangs and long braid as she walked down the stairs. Her cheeks went into a rosy pink when her pale skin was exposed to the cold air. Her white wolves stood up from their resting and followed her up the mountain. It's always so much harder to climb up the mountain than down. At least she has a snow board to help her down
"This is going to take too long" she sighed and took out her harp "song of Snowpeak Top" she muttered to herself before she appeared to the Snowpeak Top, just as she assigned her song to warp her to. The top of the peak was quiet and beautiful, just like she likes it. She closed her eyes for a moment before going to play a different warping song until she heard something else that stopped her
"Time~" she held her head for a moment. It was like the wind was making words through her head... What was that? "Time~" the wind was definitely making sounds. She never heard the wind making these sounds before, but she can't help but become curious
"Do you hear that?" Zelda asked while looking around the mountain. The wolves whined and walked away from her. Huh?
She followed them as quickly as she could. It's so unlike the wolves to leave her side while in the mountain, something must be bothering her only companions
She walked into a cave she remembered walking through as a kid. She never made it far, so she gave up on going deeper because the wolves would refuse to follow her any further
While walking the cave, the wolves jumped to the bottom of the ladder. They jumped... They would never leave pass the ladder leading further down the cave. Zelda climbed the ladder downward and continued following the wolves whining again. Why are they whining?
After a while of walking, Zelda encountered a large chunk of ice in front of her. The wolves sat down in front of it. This is what they wanted to see?
"Time~" Zelda looked around confused. There's no wind in here, how is she hearing that? She walked closer to the chunk of ice and noticed something green inside, but it was fated. There's something in there? Hm... Wouldn't hurt to check what's in there and know the reason why her wolves are being weird all of a sudden
She took a few steps back before taking out her sharp knifes from inside her boots with a small explosion bomb attached, activated it and shot them on the floor near the chunk of ice. The ice burst into pieces and dropped whatever was inside...
A body.
Zelda furrowed her brows confused and slowly walked over to the person wearing green. Once getting close enough, she leaned her head closer to his head to check for breathing, not that she suspects that a person would live through this chunk of ice, but she still wanted to do it.
They were breathing! What? Zelda flipped the person to their back and noticed it was a boy with blue lips, iced eye lids, and white skin. His finger tips were grey. She knew if they change color more, they could fall off.
"What is this boy doing here?" She held his cold cheek and stared at his face covered by wet blonde hair. Something about him...
The boy trembled at her touch and twitched his fingers. She would just leave him here to die, since it's not like she knew him or cared about anyone but herself, but she was curious and wondered why he was in ice, so she took off her warm scarf and wrapped his neck with it before lifting his head to lay on her lap
"I better not regret this" she sighed before playing her harp to take her home. She set up a fire on the fire place and sighed before looking down at the boy laying a few steps away from where the fire was warming. Don't want to bring him too close, his ice cold skin can overheat or something.
She took a deep breath and started taking off his wet clothes. This is not going to help him get any warmer. If she's going to get answers, she better get him to wake up soon.
His entire clothes was taken off his body. She stared at his body and smirked at how toned it was. His stomach was hard with abs, like he worked his body for war or something. There were cuts everywhere, even placed she wouldn't think there would be cuts.
Zelda huffed, liking what she was seeing before picking up a clothe to soak in warm water she prepared earlier in the kitchen she needed super hot for her shower. She was going to go into town to pick up a few things before coming back, but looks like part of the water would go to this guy
She soaked the clothe with the hot water she waited to be cooled earlier and cleaned his cold skin as carefully as she could. She stared at every detail of his skin she was touching until she was done and dried him with a dry clothe before covering him with a warm blanket and wrapped him like a burrito
"There" she threw the dry cloth into the water bucket and stood up "I could be in town and buying things to make dinner, but yet I'm here taking care of some guy" she stared down at his rosy cheeks sleeping. He got his color back already "he had a nice body, I can say that" she smirked and crossed her arms "but I still want food" she looked at a few wolves in the corner of the room, trying to stay away from the fire "keep him here till I get back" she stared at the boy laying on the floor. She placed a pillow under his head before turning away and held her heart. This boy... Who is he..? Really? It seems that she somehow wants to stay and keep talking care of him. No! She just wants answers! She doesn't care about his actual aid! He can die after answering her questions for all she cares!
She slapped herself before groaning and squat down to look through his pouches he had on his belt. There was so much stuff in here! Even things she wouldn't think would fit in here! What is this? A magic pouch? She took out 2 different colored tunics, a boomerang, some kind of lens, bombs! Empty bottles, bracelet, beans? Oh! A wallet! She ignored the other pouches and looked inside to find a large amount of rupees in here! Perfect! This can pay for the time she wasted to aid him
She stared down at the items all over the floor. She better check the other pouches just in case there's other weapons like the bombs and boomerang he had in here
There wasn't anymore weapons in here, which was good. Zelda looked into the last pouch and found a blue ocarina with a broken part missing where you're suppose to blow into. Hm... She shrugged and picked up the boomerang and bombs and took them to the other side of the room where the wolves were guarding
"That should be all of it" she played with the wallet of rupees "I'm going to save a lot of money with all this. Do keep him here. If he wakes up, don't let him leave like I said, got it?" The wolves whined and howled a little to respond a yes. She nodded and played her harp to warp her out the mansion and outside her kingdom, outside Castle Town. She lifted her scarf to her mouth she took back earlier and walked pass the bridge to get into town. She almost feel... Bad for leaving that boy by himself. She shook her head and held her heart
"Something about him..." She glared "I better get some answers" she went around the town, passing by a few citizens and soldiers without hesitation. Some of the soldiers looked at her outfit and symbol of the Sheikah tribe on her chest, but she and they ignored each other so she could buy some ingredients she could put together to make some soup. She found herself buying extra ingredients for the boy... Is she really going to make soup for that guy? Agh! She's getting a headache. She's rushing herself to get back home!
She used the money she took from the boy and used it instead of the money she earned from taking jobs. She might be a rebel and tough when it comes to people, she would often steal items from others, but she uses money she earns to buy food. She would never steal food, it's not like she cares about who goes hungry, she just doesn't do it
After a long day, Zelda carried enough bags with food and even new sharp knifes before using her harp to warp her back home. She stood near the edge of the living room in the darkness, seeing her wolves out the darkness, growling at the boy in the middle of the room.
He had the blanket she gave him around his waist and holding a fire torch towards the wolves while holding a glare. Zelda's eyes widened at his fearless blue eyes staring at the wolves growling at him. She can't help but find them familiar... She held her heart for a second before brushing it away and smirk
"I see you're awake" she giggled before picking up her bags and walk to the door leading to the kitchen "stay where you are and the wolves won't hurt you, got it?" Before she could reach the kitchen door, she stopped at her cracks and heard something she didn't expect anyone to say to her
"Zelda?"
