Ikana Canyon was completely covered in the time bubble. Link and I met up in the dawn of the third day. I somehow felt light and calm, unlike how I've been feeling this whole time. The song I received within my moon's tear that formed into a ball that's the size of a big marble and the same gem that's on my pin Link gave me and that my mother made for me, was held tightly between my fingers

I stood on my own while Link and Tatl stared up at the moon. I held my moon's tear very closely, hoping I can hear this song soon... When this song is played, I just know that's when the time bubbles will pop. I never heard of a song called the Song of memories, but then again... There are many songs I now know that was never in the game. Soon... I will be able to play this and finally learn who I am. To know why I was sleeping in the sacred realm, to know why I was chosen to guide Link, and to know why I have my own sages and have magic...

Scotty was born within Termina... the dead knows me well and respect me, and I attract death yet I'm full of life... Many know me as the blue maiden, but I have yet to know what is my connection with this world. I have the goddess of time by my side, but why is it that a person like me with mental issues and issues in general have such gifts..? All of these connections will come soon make sense... I just hope it does

"Link..." I stood up after he practice around with his new sword the great fairy gave him "it's time..." I showed him the moon's tear "this... This will finally tell me who I am. I will not be able to know until the end. It is a song, a song that will help me remember. I do not know when it will burst to play, but if it doesn't when we start our fight... I want to tell you how happy you've made me"

"What do you mean..?" He frowned

"I haven't learned who I really am since the year and a half I've met you. When I first came to this world, I was one person... But because of us being together for this long, I've became another. Though my mind is fragile, my heart is light and happy to know that I had so many people in my life. I've learned so much and guiding you through such a adventure was my biggest achievement... I use to guide people back in the fake world to their tables, but I guided you across two large lands. Thank you Link..." I offered my hand "even if I can never find out who I really am, all that matters is who I am right now because of you. I'm sorry it took so long for me to finally realize that" he smiled, pulling me to a unexpected hug

"There was hope in your eyes, and I haven't seen that in a long time. I'm so happy to see you like this again" I smiled and hugged him tightly

"Link... Where would I be without you..?"

"I ask myself that all the time"

"It is time..." The goddess of time spoke. I pulled away and looked up at the clock tower. Watching me stare at the tower, Link got the hint and played the song of double time to speed up time to the sunset...

The sky turned red, showing its almost time for our battle to start. There are many people here, but many have already evacuated... Our words don't ring a bell when we first told them, but they will remember soon. Thanks to the song in my hands, our message to want to save everyone will reach them... They will be able to see the giants. At dawn, I already saw everyone starting to finish up their packing, and right now they're about to leave. I floated in the air a little and put my hands together to send them my message through the light

"Please do not leave... The four gods will come. Surely you know of the legend..? They have heard your cries... Once the carnival begins... They will come. Please stay and witness everything..." I stood back on the floor and looked at Link staring at me "now... Let us go meet Majora"

"Avelina..." A familiar voice echoed through the air. I looked at the red sky to see a bright white bird of some sorts flying through the sky. My eyes gazed upon the magnificent creature soaring through the air. It disappeared in the blink of an eye "Avelina..." I held my chest in pain and coughed. Link patted my back to see if I was okay. I just nodded and hurried to the clock tower as the carnival was beginning... Sort of

"Wait!" We turned to look at the Happy mask salesman. I glared and gripped on Link's hand to keep me from snapping at the man "please! I've been looking for you forever! You must return that mask to me-"

"Silence!" I snapped "I will not returned a mask to you! Do you hear me? do I have to say it again!? I will destroy that thing!" Link tugged on me. I looked at him with my wide terrifying eyes without realizing it

"Lina... We don't have time for this. The moon is getting closer" I calmed myself and nodded, leaving the man going crazy by himself. There's something between me and Majora that causes us to go crazy. when Majora saw my hair...

Making it to the top, we saw Skullkid staring at us. The fairies called to each other before Tael spoke about the four areas for the giants and got hit by the Skullkid again. Tatl glared and shouted

"That's it! I won't let things go the way you expect them to!"

"Oh well... Whatever, even if they were to come now, they wouldn't be able to handle me... Hee, hee. Just take a look up! If it's something that can be stopped, then just try to stop it!" Skullkid started glowing like it did before.

"Play the oath to order..." I told Link as my mark started glowing, along with my hair turning gold with blue and my hood fell from my head. The Skullkid started panicking as the giants started calling out as they started coming.

The moon was coming down, and the giants appeared on time to catch it. I took out my scythe and stared at it all happening. This is happening... Something in my heart was pounding, like it wanted a way out.

The four giants stopped the moon from crashing, just as I hoped it would before it came close to the tower we were staring at it from

"I-it stopped..." Tatl said, holding her brother "good... We made it in time. The giants' call worked on the Skullkid" I never took my eyes off the the giants and moon "hey, Skullkid! No... Majora! How dare you mess with our friend like that!? You did this!"

"The kid was easy to control..." The mask spoke. I looked down at it still on Skullkid "he had far too many weaknesses to use my power" Majora lifted the Skullkids body in the air "a puppet that can no longer be used is mere garbage... This puppet's role has just ended..." The Skullkid fell on the floor with the mask still floating. The moon soaked the mask up by magic and brought it to life

"What the?!" Link gasped. I gripped on my scythe angrily

"I...I shall consume. Consume... Consume everything" the moon was pushing down for the giants to struggle to keep it up. Tatl screamed

"This isn't good! let's go back! Let's go back! hurry! the song of time! The song of time!" Link nodded and took out his ocarina to play, but looked at me still looking at the moon with pure anger

"Lina! Come on!" Tatl shouted. I turned and faced them

"No... Nothing is going to change if we leave. We must go... Link... You must go" Link frowned and walked up to me looking back at the moon "if we don't do anything right now, it'll just keep happening again and again"

"You're kidding! I won't do it! Im staying here with Tatl. You go by yourself!" Tatl shouted at me. I glanced away

"I'll go!" Tael said

"What?! What are you saying!?"

"I don't want to always be running away! If only I had been stronger, the skull kid wouldn't have..."

"It has nothing to do with you Tael... You've been strong for this long... If you want to come, we will accept you" I said in my calm voice, even if I was dead serious at the moment that I don't even recognize myself.

"After all this time, Tael, you've gotten really stubborn...just like someone else I know..." She looked at Link "you know, you guys are really stupid..." I let out a smile and took out the Fierce Deity mask. Staring at the face of this mask... My heart was pounding against my chest

"Go Link... This is not my battle... Take in the soul of this warrior and defeat Majora"

"What about you?" He asked, taking the mysterious mask

"I will be with you... I'm not going anywhere" I held my head. I got myself to pick up on my own lie... "Let us go now" we nodded at each other and went into the magic portal

We warped into the moon, which had a relaxing environment to it even if the outside was terrifying "where are we..?" Tael asked

"This can't be inside the moon, right?" Tatl asked

"It is indeed..." I floated in the air when seeing a kid, a future happy mask salesman, running up to us while wearing Majora's mask. I pointed my scythe at him "how about a game little boy?" I spoke

"Oh! Really?!" The kid clapped "okay! Do you have any mask?" I rather not waste time giving away my mask and just say I don't have any

"No... But one" he looked at the mask Link was holding

"I see! Okay! This will be fun! Are you ready? You're the bad guy. And when you're bad, you just run! That's fine, right?" Link looked at me staring dead at the mask

"Lina..?" I nodded

"Right" I told the kid. He nodded and warped us to the battle round. It was a empty room... Majora's mask was waiting just ahead "Link..? Are you ready?"

"How are you feeling?" I looked at him with a confident small smile

"Alive..." He looked at the mask I gave him "fighting Majora will not be easy, use this mask and take on the spirit of a God..."

"A god..?"

"A god?" The fairies asked. I was suddenly getting anxious as I waited for Link to put on the mask. He stared into my eyes before putting on the mask and shouted as it took over his body.

His body grew taller like he was as a adult... I couldn't feel Link at the moment, but another strong aura right in front of me. I frowned as he stared down at me

"You're not Link... Who are you?"

"Avelina..." I flinched. That voice! "I had waited for the day when you would finally summon me and let me be part of this hero's body for just only a short while" he kneeled for me "I finally get to see you again..."

"How do you know me..?" He smiled with his silver eyes

"I am one of your followers... I am the one who helps you fully awaken to be who you are. I hold your true identity within my body that you had put in me to hold dearly and protect it when you need it"

"What..?"

"I am no longer of this world... I cannot show myself as a complete being, therefore I must take the body of the spirit of the hero who you were meant to guide for so long. Even if I'm not a physical being, I am who I am and will always be of your assistance. The hatred you have towards anything with darkness within is my job to take care of so you wouldn't have to use your own magic when it's time for your guidance to end" he stood up and walked towards the mask "whatever you do... Do not fight"

"Wait! You never told me-" he turned to give me another warm smile

"That is not my question to answer... It's yours" I frowned "once this is over... You will reveal your secret to Link once I am no longer using his body, and once you tell him... Well... Wait for us" I reached for him to come back, but once he put his hands on Majora. The battle was on. Tatl and Tael assisted Link, or Fierce Deity, to fight. I was standing right at the back before Majora took notice in me and started vibrating

"Blue hair... Blue eyes... That mark on your chest... It's the Triforce that never became noticed..." I covered my mark "the Triforce of time!!!!" It screamed loud enough to make ears bleed. I covered my ears "you... You are the one that's been hiding!! Give me your power! I must have your power!" The Majora flew towards me. I gasped and covered my face. Fierce Deity jumped in front of me and attacked with his helix double bladed sword

"Don't touch her!" Fierce Deity and Link's voice interlinked at the same time. Majora floated back to the air and started to transform into its incarnation. I wanted to help fight Majora... But Fierce Deity said not to fight... Why can't I fight?!

I gripped on my scythe, shaking as I stared at the boys fighting with the fairies. I want to help... "No!" My sages voice all said in the same time "do not fight! You need every drop of your magic in you to fully awaken!" What..?

"B-but... I want to help" I bit my lips and leaned on the wall, holding my head. Help Link... I want to help Link...

"Power... Power! Give me that girl's power!! The blue maiden's power is said to be the perfect source for a being of the light and darkness! I must take it!!!" Majora screamed and became its final form. He looked so scary... One of its whips wrapped around my waist and lifted me in the air, having me scream

"Avelina!" Fierce Deity shouted

"Lina!" Link shouted. I tried getting myself free, but the whips were too tight. My body felt like it was growing weaker as my energy felt like it was being sucked. Fierce Deity used his sword and aimed a razor strike towards Majora laughing and running all over the place. It's speed was increasing the longer it had a hold of me

My eyes were growing heavy... This wasn't how I wanted things to end. I wanted to be with Link and finally be with the him the way as I am when I remember everything about myself.

Light surrounded me. I opened my eyes a little to see the goddess of time facing me. I stood straight without the whip around me and looked up at her

"Take out your moon's tear..." As she requested, I took out what she wanted and showed it to her "this gem is precious... In every gem, your pin holds the memories of every life you had lived through. It may also hold any source of magic within. Right now, this is a barrier for the song of memories to rest before it may burst and reveal its sweet melody to you..." The gem burst and released the song the giants gave to me. I stared at the broken pieces surprised, watching forming into something else as the sweet melody played through my heart, making my hair and mark on my chest glow in gold. I held my heart as my dress was replaced by a pitch black dress with wide sleeves and a long cut down the side of my leg. My hair grew as long as it did when I was a adult... I stared at Fierce Deity smiling at me with his body shining. This light... I have awakened at last...

I floated to the middle of the battle field, where Link, fairies, and Majora stared at me. Lifting my scythe to the ceiling, I released my light to burst all around us. Majora got blasted by many of the rays of the light and cried out before bursting and disappearing forever. Using my magic to take the moon back to the sky, it disappeared around us and allowed us to float back to the middle of Clock town, where Link stood and I floated as a adult, smiling down at him as my surroundings shined in white light. This is who I am... After all this time... I've finally became who I was meant to be

"Lina... What happened to you..?" Link asked as Fierce Deity's mask appeared in my hands as a light appeared next to me as a spirit. I stared at Link and the fairies as everyone came into town slowly looking around before looking at me. Everyone that was within the time bubbles came and are witnessing this very scene. They all recognized me thanks to the song that brought back their memories

"Link... I have finally awakened..." His eyes widened "after all this time, I remember who I am. I am... The goddess of time" Link was speechless, like everyone staring up at me and the giants looking down. I smiled and nodded

"H-how..?" I closed my eyes and held my heart, holding my pink scythe that's finally a physical weapon when touching my hands

"I am one of the golden goddesses... I am also known as the black goddess. As you can see, one piece is missing from the middle of the Triforce. The Triforce of time, That is mine... I had made my own piece though it is not physical like the other ones. I have it within my body to give me the power to stay a mortal. You see... Like the other goddesses who created the world, I created times flow. Not only am I the goddess of time, but I am the goddess of death" I turned away "I attract death... Anyone who is dead knows of me... That is why I was highly respected back in the canyon and graveyard.

"Me being the goddess of time, I do cause death, and I do cause darkness to grow. If I was never a goddess, time itself will never change... Everything will remain as it was when my sisters created everything. That wasn't the point of creating such a beautiful land. It must be used... By humans Goddess Hylia, who is my twin sister, created. She was also the incarnation of Princess Zelda after she was reborn as a mortal herself... To be with me

"As darkness grows through time, there was nothing the other deities could do... I can see through time and I know how to stop it. As someone who was the cause of darkness to grow, I took the responsibility in coming down to earth and become mortal to find the one who can save the land. It was a hero with tremendous courage who fought the first darkness. It was him that Hylia chose when I took notice in him for the first time, and it was me who decided to be your guide when knowing of your existence" my three lights floated around me "these lights are the golden goddesses, my sister's, powers... They assist me even when they're gone. I became mortal before the war went on and before darkness was being created, and I took care of you when you were a prisoner, or your ancestor... I watched you, I helped you... Even if it was my existence that caused this darkness, I was on your side and wanted to do what's right, even if it meant having to leave my own twin

"Your ancestors... I knew them all, therefore, I was reborn every time your soul would come back and face evil once again" I stared at my pin on the side of Link's head outside his hat, my pin with the golden petals and gems on it

"That pin, the Goddess pin, consist of moon tears that have the power to hold anything in them... Even memories. Every memory of my past life lives in those stones. We were friends many times... We were friends with Zelda, who is my own twin within our hearts now... That is why I adored her so much. On why my hair is filled with Nayru's love. Hylia had Nayru's piece of the Triforce go within Hylia's incarnations, and Nayru gave me her power that created part of the world. She wanted us to be together... And having this power was a way to keep me close to the ones I love" I looked at the blue sky

"The books back home are the knowledge I have learned from my lives and put into the books. Therefore they follow me to every era..." I frowned "Link... That time I watched you die... My heart couldn't take it. it felt like I just failed as a goddess even though I was not... That was at the time I was not awakened and you had died within my human eyes. I attract death... My sages had to die to become my own light. It is who I am... And my human self couldn't understand. Being human is very hard on someone like me... Time is cruel... But I'm so happy I got to stay with you during all of it. Though I created 3 separate timelines... I failed at the first, and I lost everyone in the third... But this one... This is where I got to be with you the most. I have guided you through Hyrule and Termina... Now that I have awakened, I must leave to guide the next hero" I looked at my pin creating a new gem, putting our memories on top. Link... Please keep that pin safe. I know it in my heart it will return to me eventually

"W-what..?" Link's eyes shot open "n-no! You're leaving?!" I took out Link's 3 transformation masks, the Zora mask, the Goron mask, and the Deku mask, and used my powers to reverse time through them in a bubble and send them back home... They will live on now as they were meant to be. Thank you all...

"That goddess of time I had mention before that helped us was my own soul trying to get a way to come back to me... Fierce deity was one of my followers. He was the God of war, which went perfect for a goddess of death. He holds my light to know my true identity and my own soul guided my human mind to the right path. The song of memories woken the light he held for me. Everything that has happened, it is the way it has to be... I hate how I had to leave you all the time. Once you are done with your destiny, I must go to a new generation to become reborn and meet the next hero who will need my guidance. That is my responsibility... And I took the punishment I cast upon myself for my existence" he ran towards me, crying up

"No! You're wrong! You made everything better! Even if you did attract darkness you always brought back light!" I looked at his crying face surprised "you said you wouldn't leave! You said you weren't going anywhere!!" Tears fell on my face "Lina! Don't leave me! Don't leave everyone you created bonds with! Let's go back to Hyrule and see Zelda! And Saira! Ruto, Malon, Impa, everyone!"

"I adored everyone... If I have never awoken I would had already got on the back of Epona and rode back home with you, but clearly that is impossible. I have a responsibility... Even if it wasn't really my fault I was born, I became someone who held darkness. I am thankful I hold light within me. if I never had this, I wouldn't be able to meet someone as great as you and decide to guide your heroic soul. I do not want to leave, and yes... I did say I wouldn't go anywhere, but that was before I knew I was a goddess... I caught my own lie without realizing it. I must go and fulfill another destiny"

"Lina..." Tatl cried. I smiled at her and her brother as my body floated higher into the air

"No! No! Lina! Please! Don't!" Link fell on his knees, staring at me with so many tears running down his face "don't go!" I took out my ocarina to play the moon song while Fierce Deity held my scythe and himself light into it to be awakened another time

"LINA!!" Link shouted. I smiled down at him as I left for the sky, where a white bird I saw before came to let me sit on its back. My precious loftwing, a gentle spirit that can only be ride on by a deity... from that time era when I lived in Skyloft, or... A bit far from it away from the other mortals

"Goodbye Link..."

"I swear! I won't stop looking for you! My soul will never rest until I see you again!" He ran as fast as he can to catch up to me "Lina!" I cupped my mouth, hiding my sobs and waved

"Whenever there is a meeting, a parting is sure to follow. However that parting need not last forever. Whether a parting be forever or merely for a short time... I got to be with you through both. This is the longest I've ever been with you. I've always wanted to meet you... You are always going to be my hero. Link, I love you..." I closed my eyes to release my soul to float back to him as a child and press my lips against his. My heart warmed kindly like the warm sun on the beach. There's so much I never got to do with him... I wish we could had went back to Hyrule and see our friends again and my soul sister... But alas, I have awakened as the goddess of time and must go guide the next hero... It is the responsibility I have taken. To never stay and carry out what I was meant to do. It is time for me to go into a internal sleep. Where I must awaken in... my heart tells me... The era where the hero of twilight wakes

This is the end! Omg! I can't believe I made it this far! She was actually the goddess of time! Shocker! Tell me, was it shocking to you? She held a bigger destiny and it was simply to guide the hero of a generation where darkness will grow. Although I do not know if I'll put more side stories after this chapter to show how her past lives were like, I would love to start the sequel... But it was hard enough to write this story that it might take a long time to start it. Thank you for staying with me for this long and I hope you can stay around for more! Bye bye!
