I was drinking some milk while watching Link practicing his sword swinging and arrow shooting. I never get tired of watching him. Tatl seems bothered for some reason

"Tatl, what's the matter?"

"That imp the lady was talking about reminds me of Skullkid"

"It is Skullkid, Tatl"

"How do you know?"

"She said the goddess of time said centuries will pass and he'll be happy. I'm sure she's referring to the same person" Tatl looked down

"Skullkid told Tael and I that his friends left him... He never said how long ago that was. I feel so bad now..."

"He found happiness with you and Tael... But that mask brought blackness to him. It's going to be up to us to help him" she nodded and wiped her tear away

"You're really smart and kind... I'm always giving you a hard time" I smiled

"It's okay... I live for hard times..." I got kidnapped and experienced murder... Nothing is calm about the mind of mine. That old life is nothing now, but I still grew up in it and learned so much "it makes me feel better that I have the ability to help people... I don't want anyone to suffer any longer. It's time to head back to where we left off" Tatl nodded and flew to get Link so we can travel there by Epona. I seriously wish I could call forth the owl right now...

"Why are you wearing the mask like that again?" Link asked as I lifted my hood after putting on the Goro mask

"Reasons" I smiled, though he can't see it. When going closer to the house below the canyon, a Goro ninja appeared from nowhere. I gripped on my scythe to prepare myself

"Master! you called!" I expected it to point it's knife at me to see I wasn't one of them, like the game, but it just stared... Huh? After a moment, it lifted its sword towards Link "you... Get away from the maiden!" It flew towards him with two swords and a fire barrier surrounding us. I lifted my scythe and hit it on its head and had it fall on the floor

"...why..?" I removed my mask "You are... you have wounded me... I will take this as a honor by the great maiden herself" my eyes widened in confusion "I shall take my final blow by opening my heart and revealing my wisdom... To revive the dried-up river on Imana hill, you must go to the spring water cave. Blue maiden..." I flinched. How does it know me..? "Alas... You reveal your face again to me, I feel warm again" it disappeared. I lowered my scythe slowly, staring at the floor

"What happened..?" Link asked

"Not sure... That thing knew me. Come on, there's more ninjas around here. They might say more!" Link and I went around to find the ninjas, who all seem to know me and worship that I've come to see them. How do I attract these things? They all gave useful information about the well, spring, and house around. We roamed to the cave, where a mysterious voice spoke

"What business have you in the Ikana Kingdom, the land where only the dead roam" a Poe appeared. Link hid me behind him

"Isn't that the brother of the Poe we awoken back in the graveyard..?" He whispered. I nodded, keeping my hood close to my head

"This is no place for one as full of life as you two! Especially the one in the hood" it stared at me "you... Are full of life, but you are also full of death!" I flinched, terrified

"Don't listen to that thing" Link said

"There is life within this cave... Would you like to join the dead? In that case, then sleep gently to the melody of darkness that the great composer, Sharp, shall play and join the rest of the dead" the composer was conducting a song that was sucking the life out of Link and Tatl. They groaned and fell on the floor

"Link!" I gasped. Why isn't it affecting me? "Stop it!" I took out my ocarina "hear the melody of this song and soak in the tears of the rain and the anger within the thunder!" I played the song of storms a Poe named Flat from a sealed grave in the graveyard, Sharp imprisoned him after giving up his soul to the devil

As the song of storms played, it started raining within the cave we were in "w-what is this? ... This song? N-no, it can't be. This song..." The song was making it shake. I continued playing. The rain filled up the river and flowed through the hill... I stopped playing after the Poe disappeared and I helped Link back on his feet to hurry outside to see the strange mummies we've been avoiding dying from the song the house was playing

"They're gone?" Tatl asked

"Flat, my dear brother" we looked back at the cave Sharp was talking through in sobs "forgive your foolish brother who dreamt of the royal family's revival. Ye who not fear the dead... And ye who attracts death" we faced the cave. My heart was pounding. Those words hit me like a wagon. Ye who attracts death... "With my brother's song, you have broken the curse that was placed upon me. it is all thanks to you blue maiden"

"How do you know me..?" I whispered

"We dead should not be lingering here in this land. It was all a trick of the masked one who had upset things" Sharp continued

"Skullkid..." Tatl frowned

"If ye, who wears green and fears not the dead, and the blue maiden who attracts death like bee to honey... I wish for you to go to the temple in this land and sever the root of the evil curse that torments us. To do that... You must seek out the king, the only one who knows the way into the temple. The king is in the ruins of Ikana castle, awaiting the coming of the one who will break the curse... I have made my final request" I stared at the water underneath us with my eyes wide

"I..." I spoke. My lips dried

"Lina..."

"Attract death?"

"Don't listen to that thing... It doesn't know you"

"But it didn't see my hair and yet it knows I'm the blue maiden... How can that be true? The Stalkids looked up to me, the Goro ninjas were honored to see me, and the conductor brothers knew me... Flat said I had a strong sense of knowing the difference between life and death, as Sharp said I was full of live and death... What does that make me..? Why is more mysterious things popping up..?" He hugged me

"Don't listen to that thing... You don't attract death and you are full of life. You know that" I don't know anything anymore. I shook myself off and looked at a little girl roaming around on her own. I told myself I'll be strong... I can't think of myself right now

I removed my hood and ran to the girl by skipping on top of the river "excuse me?" She flinched when seeing me

"Who are you..? You're really pretty... You won't hurt me, right?" I blushed when she complimented me

"No... Has something happened to your father? Let me help..." She frowned and looked at the house before nodding and let me and Link in.
I got Link to open the closet that contained her mummified father. Link and Tatl actually shouted when seeing the man. I played the song of healing to free the father and drop a mask that'll be useful for the temple I'm sure

"Daddy!" The girl cried and jumped to hug her dad

"Pamela!" He hugged her tightly "what have I been doing this whole time?"

"That's what I like to know" Tatl said, still hiding behind Link

"You... Haven't been doing anything..." Pamela cried "you had a bad dream. You were just having a little nightmare" I smiled at her bravery. The man sobbed with his daughter. Link and I smiled together before he picked up the Gibdo's mask for me. Leaving the family on their own, Link and I left the house and prepared to find the empty well to get to the ancient castle

"This is a castle..?" Link looked around, removing his gibdo mask. I put on my Garo mask and summoned some Garo ninjas. They said some interesting stuff like before, only this time they bowed to me and left... Weird

When entering the castle, the redead started dancing and spinning. It was the Garo mask. Passing them up, Link immediately got touched by a enemy that... Cursed him, making him unable to use his hands

"Oh no!" Link gasped. I'm not too worried about it though. Once we go outside it'll be gone thanks to the song of storms. I smiled at Link to tell him it was okay before we continued on in the castle. The people of this castle and canyon seem to know me but this place never gave me a certain vibe to it

The temple item for this place is the mirror shield, but because I had my scythe, we were able to go to where the king of this place and battle him. Because Link liked wearing the Captain's hat and never took it off, he nearly fooled him to think he was actually the captain, but because of how small he was... It found out

I stayed in the shadows until Link defeated everyone and I burned them with the light going through my blade. There was a pair of skull heads floating above us, I'm sure were the ones that was fighting Link first. They argued like the twinrovas did... Huh

"Enough" I spoke. They flinched and faced me. I walked pass them and walked up to the King. Speaking to him, we discovered that the misfortune towards the place happened due to the doors of the stone tower opened

"Blue maiden... It's been centuries since I've last saw you..." The King spoke. I furrowed my brows a bit annoyed "you who bring light into darkness... I am the king of the Ikana kingdom, Igos du Ikana" he spoke to Link. I stood behind him as the two speak while I went off to my own world. I flinched when hearing the king sing a familiar song known as the Elegy of emptiness... It created a wooden thing of Link in a creepy way

"Oh dear..." I held my heart

"This soldier who has no heart is your twin image. a shell of yourself that you will shed when your song commands it" the king disappeared as I stared at this thing... "On my kingdom... Shine the light of Justice. Blue maiden... You have shown yourself once more, light will forever be on our side" I looked back at where the king was with a frown

Tatl knocked on the wood curiously. I was getting uneasy and destroyed the solider made of wood. Tatl screamed when she was too close "why did you do that?" Link asked

"Sorry... This thing makes me uneasy..." I admit and walked out the castle. I swear... I can't explain it. Not wanting to go to the stone tower, I stayed outside and waited while I curled up in a corner to get myself together. I think I've been through enough for today. I had Shauna keep me company

"What's wrong dear?" She asked, wrapping her arm around my small body

"You already know what's wrong, why are you asking me..?" I whined a little. She giggled

"I know you're getting more and more confused by the day... Just a bit longer, okay?" I hugged my legs and looked away

"I'm tired of this... My heart is hurting, My head hurts, and my body is shaking. I'm really getting tired here" she pet my head

"I know baby... Having to wait to know who you are... Especially for someone like you, it's hard"

"Will you please tell me who I am..?" She smiled to me

"I'm sorry... That's not my story to tell... Is yours" I looked down and sighed

"This stinks..."

"Yes... Yes... I know" this was a whole lot easier when we were in Hyrule and barely starting our journey "you should really go and help Link... He needs much help" I nodded and stood up

"You're right... I need to stop being a child when I should grow up and start doing my job of guiding Link" she nodded

"I don't think you should stop being a child... You're only a child once. Well, kinda" I frowned "and it won't last forever... Be a child and be adventurous" I smiled with a nod and hurried into the temple, which suddenly went upside down. I panicked and took out my scythe and floated in the air. I couldn't do this before, but something in me knew I could float like this.

Traveling through the air, I caught up with Link running upside down on the ceiling "Link!" I yelled

"Huh?" He looked up to see me floating in the air.

"Lina, I thought..."

"I just needed a little break is all" he frowned before nodding and continued with his little upside down adventure. Using the light arrows I gave him earlier, he seems to be having fun beating up all the enemies coming at us. Tatl was freaking out a lot in this temple, so I sang the song of beauty to not only get the stray fairies, but to calm her as well.

We finally reached the end and now we're staring down at a portal to another "world" or where the "boss" is hiding

"Are you sure the monster is here..?" Tatl asked, staring down at the portal nervously

"Yes... It won't be so hard. Scary but fine" I took a deep breath before jumping in, or flying in. Link hurried to catch up to me. We were staring at each other as we fell. Staring at his blue eyes, I saw a vision of a adult Link in armor, like the first Link, staring at me with a frown as blood dripped from his mouth. I bit my lips hard to block away that vision... I don't want to see that right now, or ever

Link and I landed safely on some sand. Tatl didn't like how the "boss" was two worm like creatures calling themselves twinmold. Taking on the first mold wasn't hard, since I had the ability to fly now and used my scythe to cut it up. I gave Link the Giants mask I had in my possession thanks to Shauna putting it on my head before going after Link.

Taking Tatl, I flew out the way so Link can turn big with the mask and started acting like a complete animal to fight the last mold worm thing "so much for being a adult" I giggled to myself

"Link looks like a big monkey when he walks like that..." Tatl comment. We giggled together as we watched the entire boss fight go and end. I flew back to stand in front of his shrinking body "seriously Link? Was acting like that necessary?" Tatl said

"Sorry, I can't help it. That was fun!" He had a few deep scratches on his arms for punching the worm. I took his arms and frowned "it doesn't hurt"

"You don't have to lie... I know when you're lying" he smiled and went to pick up the last mask of Twinmold's remains. The last mask that will finally free the last giant... Now that all of them are free, they can help save Termina and get my answers

Link and I held the mask together, warping us to where the giants stood. Tatl spoke to them of helping them at last, now it's time we can play the Oath to order on the top of the clock tower to summon them to help Skullkid... The giants were teary about him

"Why are you sad..?" Tatl asked

"Forgive your friend" one of them said

"What? What do you mean? What friend?" I faced Tatl

"They mean your friend... Skullkid" she frowned "that mask... Is the blame of it all. Don't tell me you've forgotten. We have freed all the Giants and everything. It's time to save everyone, including the poor little imp" I closed my eyes and saw him crying on the grass on his own like a flashback. I reopened them and sighed "we've been through a lot and I thank you Tatl for being with us. I feel it in my heart that the end will be near"

"End..?" Link asked, nervously. I smiled and looked around to look at the giants staring at me

"Go meet the great fairy... I will remain here and meet you back in clock town with your gift"

"You sure..? Why do you have to stay here?" Link asked

"I speak to everyone when it's necessary... I feel as they want to speak in private" he frowned before nodding and left. I turned to look at the giants "will you now.. Tell me?" I asked

"Your soul is old... But it's full of light... Your soul is new... But it's full of darkness... You will soon understand how the sun and moon interlink within this world. Your old soul is waiting for you to awaken... Your new soul is waiting to finally rest after what it's been through. Take this song and remember who you are... The song of memories" I reached my hand out to watch a ball of light float towards me. For now it is light, but once I need to listen to it, it will burst and show itself to me

"Thank you..." The light slowly spun around me like my colored lights and suddenly got my moon's tear to come out and sink itself inside the glass. Holding the gem in my hands, I stared at it slowly forming into a glowing light blue and white ball that can fit in my hand "what..?" I held the ball close "I understand... It's going to be soon... I have done everything I did around Termina, even the side quests in Clock town. Using this song inside this gem will make everyone remember Link and I... And that should make them remember the words we gave them after we helped them "everything will be alright..." I closed my eyes "the gods have heard your cry"
