"these mask are... Werid" Link and I went around to collect a few mask during the last day, since the temple took us a day and a half to get though "we have more mask than we have back home..."

"These mask have magic in them, don't you think this place is weird? There wasn't magic in the mask back in Hyrule" I nodded, looking up at the rain on the second day from our front door under the small cover over the entrance. I looked at the mask of truth on my lap, thinking about the little things we did before turning back time for probably the 5th time? It's not like we're stalling, I just kinda want to get the time bubble to appear in as many places as possible. The southern part of Termina, part of it, is mainly covered in the time bubble. I don't know why, since it's not in the major places we have to go to, but I really want to and I have a feeling placing time bubbles all over the place will be important

"Are you sure we should be stalling like this?" Tatl asked, eating a grape that she can hug

"We're not stalling..." I'm just resting, since my magic feels as it was draining for some reason "In fact, we can finally go to another temple! Snowfall Temple... Shall we go now?" Link stood up

"Should I play the Song of Time?" Song of time... A song that's supposably part of me from what the goddess told me and the song that just brings back bad memories. Not wanting to talk, I nodded and stared at the moon as Link played the Song of Time to take us to the dawn of the first day and hurry to north clock town to start the path up the mountain.

It was awfully cold... I gave Link my cloak and used the Moon song to help keep the temperature steady within my body. The goddess of time told me the other night that the moon song can do many different things, I just have to find out what it is "you don't have to do that..." Link said, holding my cloak

"The moon song will keep me fine within 12 hours... So it's okay. Anyways" I looked in front of me at a village with a few houses up ahead covered in snow "we are in mountain Village. See that house there?" I pointed "that place can help sharpen your sword, but we can't go in there yet because we need a certain item" he nodded and rubbed his arms. I don't know why the moon song won't have a effect on him

"Oh right, I almost forgot!" I took out my lens of truth "this will be useful" as I gave it to Link, I looked to the side to see the spirit of a dead Goron. He was quick to notice that I noticed him

"Can it be? Are you able to see me?" I gave Link the lens so he can see the spirit as well... Now why am I able to see this spirit with my human eyes? "If you can see me, please follow me" Link and I looked at each other

"Who is this guy?" He whispered

"Well... I don't remember all that much"

"Remember from where?" Tatl asked. Heh heh...

"Rather not say... Again, I don't even know how I know all this. But..." I searched through my head "he is going to be important to us and since he's a troubled spirit, I will ease his spirit by playing the song of healing once he takes us to the Goron grave yard"

"Hey! Are you coming or what?!" The ghost Goron yelled from a far

"It's a good idea to follow him... We need to save his people" we all hurried to follow the ghost Goron. As we did, I glanced to the side to see a light formed to a kind of bird soaring through the sky, staring at me. It camouflaged with the blizzard... My vision changed to see its view point for a second. Something about it made my body feel all fuzzy inside... I shook my head, probably seeing things, ignored it and we finally made it to the Ghost's grave in Gorons graveyard, a Goron who's name turned out to be Darmani

"The soaring one said the one who could see me would be arriving soon..." He spoke, staring at me more than Link

"The soaring one..?" I asked

"It seems that it turned out to be true" Darmani was a proud hero, a warrior, and veteran of the Gorons when he was alive. Having such a tragic way to die, he wanted to drive off a demon in Snowhead temple, but alas... The worse happened and he can no longer help his people and stop the blizzard, the blizzard that knocked him into the valley. Begging to heal his sorrows... Link nodded to me and played the song of healing. I put my hands together and took in the song. My feet started floating as hot spring water came from underneath

Opening my eyes, the Goron's mask was formed from the ease spirit and is now able to use for Link. Link picked it up and faced me

"Poor guy... We'll make him proud" I nodded confidently and took out his fire gem that can create fire arrows

"You'll need this... It's easier than carrying this hot water underneath us. This mask will transform you as Darmani's body. Let us go to Goron village" he nodded. When running in the dead cold, though Link became a large Goron, he's not as cold as he was before, we ran into a frozen solid Goron that's as old as sand.

I used Din's fire instead of using the fire arrow that may hurt him. The old Goron was the father of a young Goron who's crying as loudly as sirens, making the other Gorons miserable. Even if we didn't witness the crying baby ourselves, I still told the man who thinks he can save the Gorons with his slow body, he taught us a intro to a song for his son because well... He forgot it

"This place is going to take another warping back in time to do..." I said, using Din's fire to melt random snow "we already got the mask... So all the time we used getting here and talking to Darmani could be saved and used to have time to do other things... Though this is only the first day, we better take our time" I looked at the time bubble covering Goron's grave area

"Got it" I sighed, rubbing my arm "are you getting cold?"

"Well... The Moon song lost its effect, so I've been cold for a little while"

"even with your cloak I gave back?" I nodded "why didn't you say anything?" I looked at the three lights of Din, Nayru, and Farore colors circling me. The lights are still holding the spiritual stones from Hyrule.

"These... Will keep me warm for now" he frowned before looking down at the three, along with the spiritual stones

"Why do you have these circling around you?" I shrugged

"Beats me" later on that day, we went to Goron village to calm the Goron baby down to receive the full song from him. The Goron's lullaby was played by Link's ocarina that turned into drums with his transformed body, causing the child and even the other Gorons to fall asleep

"They're all asleep!" Tatl comment. Once we left the village, the time bubble was created. Wait... Why is there a bubble here already? We're not done here. I'll try to pop it later, perhaps the goddess wanted our progress to remain in the village until we're done with the temple? Well... It's time to turn back time

"What's that?" Link asked, looking at the narrow path leading to the next temple. We looked up at a huge Goron who was blowing the blizzard with its mouth. Link had to use the Lens of truth to see it

"That's the Goron that caused Darmani's fall into the valley" I frowned

"How sad... We better be careful. Hm..." He took out his drums "if that thing is going to keep blowing that blizzard, it'll be best to put him to sleep" I smiled at his quick thinking and listened to the peaceful drum beat of Goron's lullaby. The large thing curled up in a ball as it fell asleep and fell into the valley

"Oh my goddess!" Tatl gasped "did he..?"

"No, he's fine. Let's hurry" the temple was frozen over and filled with these fluffy enemies trying to stop us. Din's fire around me got to them before they can come any closer. As we walked around, again, I played the Song of beauty to attract all the stray fairies

We all stared up at the frozen monster of this temple... I think this is how it sleeps since it's causing all this trouble around the mountain

"Take Goht's mask after defeating it Link" I told him exactly how to fight the thing before it wakes up. The thing was terrifying for a regular person to experience, but since Link and I went through so much, it's growl didn't effect us, except Tatl

Link attacked as a Goron and gave me his bow and arrow to shoot fire arrows at the eye it dropped. It's so gross... But a few shoots and punches with Link's strong arms was enough to kill it and finally take Goht's remains

"That was really hard... I'm not use to being a Goron" Link said, out of breath. I giggled as he walked up to the mask

"Well, that's because you're not a Goron... You're a Hylian hero" he looked down a bit sad before handing me the mask. I didn't take it just yet "Link... I know how you feel about not being noticed by everything you been through to save Hyrule, but me and Princess Zelda knows, isn't that enough?" He smiled for me

"I am pretty upset about it... You and I risk our lives and no one knew that"

"If something did happen we wouldn't have been able to come back to our youth. There's another timeline where people know of the hero of time..." I took a deep breath "in that timeline... Yet again, darkness will come, but the hero of time never showed up, so to save Hyrule and its people... The land was flooded"

"What?!" Link dropped the mask "n-no..."

"There will be a hero then, and there will be a new Hyrule soon. That's a timeline we cannot worry about... I'm more worried about the other.." I looked down

"Other..? Which other?" I closed my eyes

"The one where..." Tears started falling out "you died in my arms" he took my shoulders

"What?" I don't want to keep this from him... If I keep it in my heart it's only going to explode

"When you were fighting dark Link... The only heart pieces you lacked were love, pride, and regret... You were beyond distracted because of his words. He killed you right in front of me..." I looked at my shaking hands "all that blood... You were dead and... I had to find a way to reverse what just happened. I played the Song of time, and undid everything. by doing that, I created a timeline where Ganon won because of what happened to you"

"Lina, why didn't you tell me this..? Is that why you had all that blood back in Lake Hylia?" I nodded, biting my lips to prevent a sob "It all makes sense... That's why Scotty..." He quickly wrapped me in a hug and let me fall on my knees. He held me close on the floor as I cried on his shoulder

"I didn't want to tell you... I didn't want to think about it, but it's really killing me to have let you die like that..!"

"It's okay, Lina..."

"No!" He let go and picked up the mask remains to give to me

"Look at me, I'm here right now. We're in this together. I am complete and I know what I have to do. I won't make that mistake of having words effect me. I know who I am and I am going to protect you. You can free the spirit in this mask like last time... You are special beyond anything and that's why I'm grateful to have you by me. Whatever happens to any of us, even if it's scarring, remember you have my heart... I will always be with you" I looked into his eyes surprised. The brown color Regret had in his eyes are swirling around Link's eyes... He's feeling something, isn't he?

"Okay..." I wiped my tears away and took the mask, smiling "we're always together no matter what" he gave me a bright smile before we warped to the sky clouded place where we can meet the Giants as the mask disappeared. I walked to the edge of the pedestal and took a deep breath. This place... I didn't notice this before but... It's aura is attracting me

"W-what exactly are all of you?" Tatl asked. I looked up to see one of the Giants we freed from the second mask. The giant spoke in its language of Gofilic... "Guardian? So... You're a protective gods?" Tatl asked. My eyes widened. They're Gods?

"That's why you're in the temples... But... Why are you protective gods..?" Link asked. Link and Tatl started fating away. I stared at them surprised "wait!" He looked at me and reached for me "Lina!" I reached for him, but they both disappeared. I stared at where they left, confused, and looked back at the giant, now facing the two we saved

"You have awakened... But not completely, blue maiden" one of them spoke

"What do you mean..? Who are you and how can I understand you?"

"We are the guardians... Protective gods as your friend pointed out. We live among Termina to protect. You... Are not speaking Gofilic like you think you are" I'm not? "You are speaking language of the Go-" my surroundings slowly fated back to the mountain, where Link was waiting for me. I looked around before frowning. What just happened..?

"Hey! You're back!" Link ran up to me "what took you so long to get here?" I looked at him before looking at the time bubble, covering Goron village and the Graveyard, growing to cover the entire place except for a shop where I want to help Link upgrade his sword

"Not sure..." We looked at all the snow and ice melting. The three of us smiled at each other as everything went back to normal. Great! "Everything is all well again, before we leave... Let's head to this very place right here... Then speed up to tomorrow morning so the sword can be completed!"

"Speed up? My sword? What are you talking about?" I giggled and took out my ocarina to play the song of time and do our task. Thanks to the song of double time, we manage to finally get the sword back and get the great fairy back together at her fountain

She didn't have anything useful, since Link was already a master swordsman. Once we left, the entire mountain was covered with the time bubble

"It's so weird how time is frozen within that bubble... Time wasn't the same within those areas, how does that work?" Tatl asked

"Well, it's not my magic... It's really the goddess of time's doing" I admitted

"I thought you did that. You said you were gonna do that"

"The goddess of time spoke for me through my body" Link and Tatl looked at each other "we're done here..." I leaned on my knees, feeling tired "let's head home... Reverse time Link" he nodded, holding me up and take us back to south clock town. Leaving Link's arms, I went straight to our home and went to bed, blacking out like I just ran 10 miles straight. I took so long to find stupid gold dust that it wiped me out just to get the sword upgrade completely completed. The razor sword was something, but like getting the Goron sword I left in Hyrule, getting this awesome sword for him was worth it
