"You can't keep pushing yourself" Link said as I got ready to head out with him and Tatl

"I'm fine" I said, putting on my shoes and stood up from the chair "the goddess of time said this was natural and my body was only getting use to my magic, so all I need is rest and I'm a lot better, honest. Besides, I'm not going to be stuck here while you're out there dealing with the skull kid" Link didn't look too sure, Tatl flew up to my face

"Goddess of time!? You seen the goddess of time?!"

"W-well..."

"No one has ever seen her! There aren't even ancient drawings of her! How did you see her?!"

"I can't really see her... She's just a figured light to me"

"Who are you?" I turned away, not feeling comfortable with answering that... Since I didn't know myself. How many times do I have to be reminded of that?

"Easy Tatl... Don't get too insensitive like that. Lina's been through a lot and it's not fair to push her. She's going to help your brother and Skullkid and even save this land from... What exactly?" He asked me. I walked to the door

"Like before when we traveled around Hyrule, I'm just going to let things happen... If something changes, I won't know what to do. We're going to keep something from happening, and you'll know without me telling you" he nodded and followed me outside to the parallel world of Termina. I lifted my hood and looked at Link locking the door with a lock I fixed with my magic, since I broke it before. The room had no specific owner to it. Link went all out to talk to the mayor and he said there's not even a room in the ally Link told him about. It makes me think how that place got formed and filled with my stuff

"I didn't get that moon tear you wanted, we can go to the observatory today"

"Oh... The moon tear isn't important. I actually just wanted it for myself, but that's only going to waste our time"

"If you want it, I'll get it for you" he smiled

"Link..." He took my hand and looked at my hood

"Why... Are you wearing that again?"

"The goddess of time told me to hide my hair from Majora's mask..."

"So you never answered my question-!" Link took Tatl and put her between his arm to shut her up. I gave a small smile before walking through the town. I didn't bother looking at everyone besides the structures of the beautiful town around me

"Have you noticed that there's a lot of people here getting ready for a carnival?" Link asked. I looked around to see what he said was true. There are many people out here getting their ready tents ready and there are even people out here packing up and leaving. The moon was closer than it was yesterday. Link made a comment about it but I pretended like I didn't hear him

So much was in my head that I'm completely dull at the very moment. I want to get this over with already. Link was trying to get my attention, but all I can think about was what happened yesterday... That mask was suppose to be given to Link when he goes meet the lunar children and given them the mask they want, until he meets the one child wearing the Majora's mask and gives you the fierce deity to play good guy and bad guy... And thinks Link is the bad guy, but aside of all that, that mask was dropped in front of me when playing the moon song

"Hm?" I looked at Link when he was shaking my shoulder. He held a expression I can't explain

"Lina, I've been calling you for about 10 minutes!" I looked confused

"What..? Really?" He frowned, taking my hand

"Come on, let's buy some breakfast" I nodded

"O-okay... Yeah, alright... Let's eat something" he gave me one last frown before walking me around Termina to get me to a cafe to eat something that can help with my nervousness. Link said I was shaking the whole time I was walking, but I didn't even notice

After eating, Link and I went straight to the observatory... One of the little brats didn't let me through because I was a girl. I didn't get myself to care what he said and passed him. Again... I want to get this over with

Going up the observatory, my eyes sparkled when looking at the millions of fake stars on the walls. They looked so real... The place was absolutely beautiful, more beautiful than in the game.

While Link spoke to the man, my vision let me know that the moons tear was already outside. The skull kid might not be in the clock tower anymore for Link to look at through the telescope, but at least I can go and get the moon's tear that must've dropped on the first day

Making it outside, I got my hands on a lovely looking gem that was in between some grass. The gem was amazingly beautiful... It sparkled in my eyes and even reminded me of my own rose pin I had in my hair. When picking up the moon's tear, the tear started glowing red, green, and blue over and over... Just like what my pin's been doing

"Lina" I turned around, looking at Link outside the door "the moon looks as if it's getting closer and closer... The place is becoming gloomier. When is it going to be time to do something? I'm worried. The old man in here said people are already leaving clock town" I held the gem close, nodding

"I know... I'm actually scared myself, but until the carnival starts, we can't get into the clock tower" the earth started shaking. I looked up at the moon, getting scared at how close it is... "I'm not going to be patient by standing around here" I walked up to him and got him to hug my arm so I can play the sun's song with my ocarina, but it didn't work

"Why..? Didn't the song work?" I stared at my ocarina confused

"Do you think it only works in Hyrule? Maybe there's another song we can use" I could always use the song of double time, but I still can't remember how it goes. Trying hard to remember the notes, it hit me

"I think I do know..." I put the mouthpiece to my lips and started playing the song of time in double notes, creating the song of double time that has the same effects as the sun's song, but in Termina

As I expected, the day turned older and the carnival should already begin, but... I doubt there'll be any people around anymore "come on Link! We have to get to the clock tower!" Link nodded and ran with me all the way to the tower, climbing the stairs that weren't there before and made it to the very top, in the middle of a wide floor with the strange symbols on it. The moon was so close above us... And the skull kid was floating under it

"Hey!" Link glared, taking his sword out. Skull kid turned around, showing that he had Link's ocarina. Tael came from behind him to call out to his sister

"Ah, Tael! We've been looking for you! Hey skiullkid, don't you think it's time to return that mask no-" Tatl stopped talking and looked at me, probably remembering what I told her what's going to happen in a bit. Tael looked at the Skullkid worried before looking back at us

"Swamp, mountain, ocean, canyon. Hurry... The four who are there... Bring them here..." Skullkid hit the poor fairy, just as I predicted

"Don't speak out of line! Stupid fairy!!!" Tatl gasped before glaring

"What are you doing to my brother!? Skull kid, do you think you're still our friend after that?!!?" I pulled her down to float in front of me, hoping she'll calm down

"...well, whatever" Skullkid huffed "even if they were to come now they wouldn't be able to handle me... Hee hee"

"You don't want your own family to be here?" I asked. Everyone turned to me. Skullkid looked at me dead on

"And who are you? One with the black cloak. Dressed like that, you look familiar..." Familiar? "Whatever... Look above you... If it's something that can be stopped, then just try to stop it!"

"This prank is going too far!" Link shouted. Skullkid started releasing some mysterious energy that's getting my body to feel heavy. I fell on my knees, weakly "Lina!"

"Link... Attack and get your ocarina back and play it... Hurry" I wiped my forehead, but that made me accidentally take off my hood. I gasped and looked up, seeing Skullkid stop the mysterious energy and stare at me again

"Blue hair..." The mask on the Skullkid started shaking from his face "blue eyes... That mark of your chest!" I looked at my chest to see the mark glowing through the shirt

"W-what..?" The Skullkid was shaking his head as the mask started vibrating. Something in my head was yelling at me to get away now! I screamed until Link hurried to my side with his ocarina in hand and played the song of time. My chest glowed more. As magic warped around us, the mask screamed and had Skullkid fly to hurry and catch me. Holding Tatl close, the magic warped the three of us back to the first day... When we first got here to Termina

I was shaking before letting out a sigh of relief "w-what just happened..?" Tatl left my arms to look at everything back to how it was before... On the dawn of the first day "everything has..." The two looked at their surroundings while I looked inside my shirt to look at my mark. Why did it glow like that? "Started over..." Tatl looked at Link "that song..." Then she looked at me "hey! Did you know this was going to happen?!" I brushed myself off and looked at her, still wearing my hood

"Yes"

"So you knew we were going to go back in time?" Link asked "if you knew all this... Shouldn't we had found the four ones that Tael was talking about and keep on reversing time so that we bring them all here in time?" I smiled

"Wow! You caught on fast!" He blushed, a little proud "though it is true... We could had searched for those four... It is to get your ocarina back, but to be honest, I don't know much about this place and Tael helped me remember much more! So we can go find those four now. And I didn't want to have Tatl wait to see her brother any longer" Tatl looked down "it's all coming back to me... We have to go around Termina and undo the pranks the Skullkid caused... There are a few mask that are extremely important and we must obtain them. They hold the trapped spirit of the four we are searching for" I thought back at the fierce deity mask... "I..." I held my chest, feeling the goddess of time behind me, using my body to speak her words "in order to keep everything staying the same, even if we reverse time... I will create a protective bubble around Termina to keep the events at its place. Once we save a certain location, I will create a time bubble around the place so time can progress smoothly and won't be effected by the Song of time or anything a song can cause. But once I do this... We cannot return to that area, therefore time will freeze so it can flow normally when everything goes back to normal" Tatl's eyes sparkled a little. The goddess let me go and left. I turned around to look for her

"Wow... You're that powerful to freeze time in a certain area? How... Cool" I looked at my hands. I say that but... I don't have power like a deity would. This wasn't part of the game... But it's wonderful how something like this will happen. The events that would be going on will be complete and won't be undone at all!

"Nobody can leave clock town if I do something like that... Everyone is scared about this moon, but they don't have to worry" I smiled at Link warmly "because we will be the ones to save it all! It'll be fun! I will guide you through it all! Just like before! Let us go now! To the swamp!" I looked at the sky "although, the place we're going to will only accept Deku scrubs, so until we get to the palace, you will be on your own... Just until we get to the temple and bring back the Deku princess" Link and Tatl looked at each other.

I looked to the side, seeing a young boy who was wearing a Keaton mask... Time will freeze in other places, but I can get people to remember us here if we play the song of memories... But what is that song?

I sighed "Song of Memories... How the heck am I going to know a song like that? Am I going to have to hear it from someone important?" I talked to myself. I looked at Link and noticed him already staring at me, making me flinch "why are you staring..?"

"You were talking to yourself" oh... Was I that obvious? "This is the first day, maybe we should head out now" I nodded, looking at his ocarina

"Right... This way then!" We went off to south clock town and made it to Termina field... Which was amazing up close!

"Whoa..." Link looked around amazed

"Clock town is in the middle of everything, it splits to four different parts, taking us to different places, places Tael spoke of before. First temple will be in the southern swamp... Are you ready Link?" He nodded, looking down

"It would be faster if we had Epona with us"

"She's fine, she's in a safe place" he smiled

"In that case... Let's get going" I nodded happily and raced him to the straight path up ahead. After getting Link to go into the Palace, I hurried to do a few side errands, like putting the dancing man's spirit to rest and received a mask... We might not have a need for this mask, but it's good to at least put him to rest by playing the song of healing. He danced a odd dance, but thanks to this mask... I can make Link wear it and have him dance like I want him to. Oh! He'll be great! I would do it but... I have a skirt

When I left the large mushroom looking thing he was on, I turned to notice it was surrounded by a large blue bubble with blue aurora lights inside... Is that the time bubble..? Huh, so that's how it works

After fooling around, I looked at the tree that would had Tatl have a flashback of the time she and her brother met Skullkid. Because Link and I were running, she probably didn't see it. Going back to the path where I dropped Link off, I played around in the healthy water just fooling around, waiting for Link to finish up.

Earlier, Link freaked when we bumped into someone who looks like the Twinrovas back in Hyrule, but I did tell him there will be people that look just like the people we knew. That witch offered us a boat ride after helping her. Link took the boat, I skated like a water bug and I loved it

I would use the song of double time to speed up on what Link was doing, but I rather not... Just for reasons. Going through time makes me feel uneasy and makes me remember the time Link fought Dark Link and I had to travel through time to undo it. Even if that was so far away ago, it's still fresh in my head

As soon as I came back to the front of the Palace, Link was walking out as a Deku scrub just on time. He told me what happened and we were on our way through woodfall temple, which was the easiest temple I had ever went through. Thanks to the goddess of time's wise words, I used the Song of beauty to attract all the stray fairies so we can put them together and help the great fairy

I had given Link a small bow and arrow that I got in Clock Town that was the perfect size for him. It was the same time I got my cloak and it was perfectly useful, especially when we faced the masked jungle warrior: Odolwa.

Link, of course, had me stand back while he fights the big thing by himself. And of course, he was victorious. He handed me Odolwa's mask remains

"This is one of the mask you wanted, I assume?" He smiled proudly. I nodded and giggled

"Great work! I knew you could do it! Now that you've defeated Odolwa, you've freed the innocent spirit that was imprisoned within this dark mask" once I held onto it, it glowed and teleported us to a world of skies and clouds as we stood in a tall pedestal

"Where are we?" Tatl asked. I looked at the mask and watched it vanish "what's that?" She pointed. Link and I looked where she was looking and saw a large scary looking giant standing behind the clouds. That thing looks weird up close than on a screen. It started singing a melody I remember from the game

"Wait... Listen.. It seems to be saying something" I nudged on Link to take his ocarina out to memorize the Oath to Order. I closed my eyes and felt the song warm my heart

The giant spoke in its deep voice, but strangely it spoke... In Gofilic? "Call us" I said "it spoke Gofilic!"

"Huh? You mean that language that Navi said wasn't a real language?" Our bodies warped back to the temple, where we can finally meet the princess and save that monkey that was taken by the king when thinking the poor thing is responsible for the missing princess

"The four people Tael talked about... Do you think one of them was the spirit that was sealed inside that mask?" Tatl asked me as I took out my scythe

"Say Link... You were pretty good out there! Is that what you did back in that Hyrule place you told me about with all those stories?" She asked Link

"Yeah" after their little talk and apology for messing with him and Epona and even apologized to me for being rude, we forgave each other and cut down the cell vines keeping the Deku Princess inside. She was just sitting there, and I was the first person she saw

"Oh! What a beautiful princess! Hello!" I smiled and bowed my head with Link

"Hello, princess... I am Avelina and this is Link and Tatl" huh? Why did I say my full name? Link looked at me confused, since he never heard that name before

"You know I'm the Deku Princess? Then please to meet you!" Link explained everything about the monkey. Once she heard, she was outraged of her father's doings to harm the monkey for thinking it kidnapped her and had us take her back home... Link took her home, passing the healthy water that was once poisoned, and I stayed behind to put the great fairy together so I can get her give of magic power I can give to Link. Once we are done here... Time will freeze and we will no longer be able to come back
